Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. 2 Timothy 3:7
Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15
Part one – “Quasi truth”:
Quasi = Combining form: seemingly; apparently but not really. Being partly or almost.
The setting of this dream was an open-air market, in a small-town square. I stopped to shop with a vendor from whom I had previously purchased Gruyere cheese. As I looked over the offerings, I noticed that there was only one package of cheese in stock and that it was not per the label, nor in appearance Gruyere.
The vendor asked if she could help. I replied that I was looking for Gruyere, but saw only this other variety of cheese. She said that it was Gruyere, then listed off several added ingredients (which would not be found in Gruyere), as if that was proof that what she was selling, was actually the cheese I was looking for.
Choosing not to further question or debate it, I said “OK, I’ll take it”. Then I looked over a small selection of baked goods and saw what appeared to be a slice of vanilla cake with chocolate chunks swirled into it. I told her I’d also take the “chocolate like” slice of cake (for some reason I knew that the chunks which looked like chocolate, were not). Quietly she mumbled that what looked like chocolate was made of peas and other ingredients, then she packaged my purchase.
Depicts adulterated scriptural interpretation:
Scripture is often read and/or interpreted for us, to which additional “ingredients” are added (I.e. the stuff added to the cheese which should not be there, and the fake chocolate, which was in truth – peas). This would appear to be done with the intent of “enhancing product marketability”, that it might more easily be “bought” by the masses.
Conversely, elements which are vital to spiritual instruction and understanding, are removed or downplayed as being unnecessary or detrimental to the “recipe”. These are additional dangers to reading and believing scripture out of the context in which it was written.
True Christianity IS NOT a few cups of Jesus, to which is added a measure of this, a spoonful of that and few pinches of other additives, then kneaded together until the dough is soft and pliable – conformable to what a person would prefer to believe!
And I, brethren, when I came to you, came not with excellency of speech or of wisdom, declaring unto you the testimony of God. For I determined not to know any thing among you, save Jesus Christ, and him crucified. 1 Corinthians 2:1-2
“Quasi scriptural” is not the pure oil of truth. Oil lamps flicker, sputter, cast shadows, distort what we see and sometimes even extinguish themselves, when filled with impure, inferior or mixed oil.
This is especially true of spiritual oil – the Word of God! [Psalm 119:105, Proverbs 6:23, Psalm 119:10-11]
Believe what you read, rather than read into scripture, what you prefer to believe!
Part two – “Hybrid Doctrine”:
I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see. Revelation 3:18 [Matthew 11:15, 13:9, 13:43, Mark 4:9, 4:23, 7:16]
(Note: My description of what was seen in this dream is as inoffensive as I could scribe it, without being disobedient by watering down the truly graphic nature of the message that God is sending.)
In the middle of the same town square was a raised platform, configured similarly to a horse breeding chute. When using such an apparatus, a mare is restrained in the front section and is unable to move away. A stallion is led up from behind her and mates with her.
The situation seen in this dream however, was bizarrely different. The “stallion” was not a horse, but a hybrid two-legged creature (think mythological), in appearance its head is best described as a cross of bear and horse. It was led onto the platform, controlled and directed by a man.
Too, rather than breeding another animal, it was mated to person (man or woman).
While mating, a small blanket covered the place of joining, hiding it from public view. The person exhibited an expression of dumb, detached acceptance, even as they were violated, receiving the seed of this hybrid monster. When finished, the person would separate from the creature and calmly walk off of the platform.
There was no indication that spectators or the person being violated, even realized that this was out of the ordinary or abnormal.
Depicts perverted hybrid seed – doctrines of devils:
Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 1 Timothy 4:1
In this dream is seen a MAN directing and controlling the insemination of a person, by a hybrid creature. These doctrines are craftily foisted upon people when they unwittingly follow those who claim to uniquely possess “the truth”. Such teachers (clergy, authors, screenwriters and more) skillfully combine Bible scripture with extra-biblical doctrine, for Satan well knows that the most saleable lie, contains some truth.
The blanket depicts a blockage of people’s spiritual vision, so that the undiscerning can’t “see” the act being perpetrated (receiving corrupted seed, aka. the spawn of Satan).
The deceived are sometimes recognizable by the fact that they “glory in themselves”, fully believing Satan as he whispers to them that they’re rare and special, capable of grasping “truths” which are far beyond that which the less enlightened Christian can understand. [1 Corinthians 5:6, Matthew 16:6, 11-12] As lambs dumbly standing before a roaring lion, they discern not their danger.
But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments [precepts] of men. Matthew 15:9 [Strong’s Greek dictionary word# G1778 = a precept. Mark 7:7]
Such hybrid theology, is but one manifestation of what scripture calls “doctrines of devils”. It is evidenced in those who follow Gnosticism, Mysticism, Universalism, Inclusionism, Chrislam and the numerous other part Christian (mixed) ideologies.
“Ism’s” are in essence criticism of the simplicity of the pure meaning of scripture, it says that the Bible is insufficient on its own, that it is “not enough” for the person who wishes to attain a higher revelatory state.
Each “ism” perverts contextual scriptural meaning into a doctrinal mythological monster.
Tragically, it has permeated the Christian faith to where there the dividing line between black and white, truth and lies, is decreasingly evident or erased in its entirety. Shades of grey have become highly in vogue. When we aren’t diligent to read scripture in its pure context, grey continues to darken until the light has been snuffed out and it becomes black…
There is no such truth as “Jesus +”, but there are surely in abundance, doctrines of demons. By these many are separated from Christ for eternity! [2 Peter 1:16]
It is by Jesus alone that we may come to the salvation. A relationship with Him is the only way to the Father for there is NO other name by which we may be saved! [Acts 4:12, John 14:6, 1 Timothy 2:5, John 10:9]
From the beginning, Satan has told people that the Word of God, His provision and intentions towards us really “isn’t enough”. He whispers that God is holding out on us and that we deserve so much more (“ye shall be as gods” Genesis 3:5). If we allow him the opportunity, he eagerly directs our attention to every possible form of “death by more”.
There can be and is no such thing as “more” than being in a personal relationship with Jesus!
Scripture, studied and understood in context stands on its own. To the person who truly seeks, God has revealed its truths over the centuries, to even the unread/unlearned, for God tells the one who cares! [Hebrews 11:6]
Scriptural references:
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. Psalm 119:105
For the commandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of life: Proverbs 6:23
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments. Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee. Psalm 119:10-11
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6
For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 1 Timothy 2:5
I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture. John 10:9
Your glorying is not good. Know ye not that a little leaven leaveneth the whole lump? 1 Corinthians 5:6
Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees. Matthew 16:6, 11-12
For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. 2 Peter 1:16
That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; but speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ: Ephesians 4:14-15
As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. 1 Timothy 1:3-4
For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock. Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them. Acts 20:29-30
Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee. 1 Timothy 4:15-16
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; and they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. 2 Timothy 4:2-4
But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine… Titus 2:1
Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward. Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: 2 John 1:8-10
But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. Hebrews 11:6
Author: Deborah Hartvikson
Deborah launched a previous website in an attempt to wake people up to the destruction to our health, caused by the food, beverages, water and more that we commonly use. God created us as “triune” beings, comprised of three inextricably connected “parts”; these are the body, mind and spirit. Thus, when any part of our being is sick, the health and wellbeing of the entire person is compromised. This ultimately manifests as our spirit being unable to enjoy the level of relationship with God for which we were created. But, in 2015 God told her to shift the focus of the message to warning the Body of Christ to prepare for the coming times. While awareness and physical preparation are important (Proverbs 27:12), if we are to have any hope of standing for and with Jesus through the tribulation and trials that even now are rapidly closing in on us, we must focus on continually growing in our relationship with Him! In July 2020 she was instructed to launch the new website HSBattleship.org (HS standing for Holy Spirit). Posts include articles on genuinely following Christ, dreams and warnings concerning current and soon to come happenings. It is her desire that what she has penned, in response to the leading of the Holy Spirit, will have a significant impact in the lives of others. Our rallying cry must be “So others might live with Jesus forever”!

I had a secular humanist upbringing where everything was gray – whatever felt right to you personally was right. So when I became a Christian I was so relieved that there were absolutes in the Christian faith. There was a white and black, right and wrong, sin and righteousness, lie and truth, heaven and hell. Then 20+ years down the road, the minister who I trusted and respected greatly began preaching a social gospel, and preaching that there were many gray areas in the Christian life…even questioned the doctrine of hell. Oh man, what a hard time that was for me. It is not easy leaving a church you invested so much time, prayer, faith, friendship, and money in. But after almost two years of sitting under this emergent teaching I finally got the courage and made my exit.
Come to find out, the minister himself, was struggling with homosexuality. No wonder for this tasteless gray gospel!
I’m with you Deborah, if someone tries to sell or feed you that mixture of gospel truth, say no thank you and run as fast as you can away! Don’t wait around hoping they will change, lest you start feeling suffocated..
I love the last bold statement. Amen. I was a strong advocate of an ism for many years, like Paul I just knew I was right and persecuted the other isms out there. I read tons of books and could analyze the word w the best of them, but God wasn’t in the analysis of His book nor in the persecution of people w incorrect theology (which is all of us btw). His Spirit dwells in us. In this age where everything can be an ism (just recently – are you a single rapturist or a multi rapturist) and where anything you believe probably is backed by some historical obscure ism, let’s not go off the path in defending book analysis. God’s gift to us is holy spirit. We can disagree and love each other. The true mark is not 100% correct theology, it is love. If you’re stuck in an ism, please take time to examine your heart towards the other side. The flesh hates to give them equal standing, it hates to consider them as worthy, it loves to condemn. If that’s you, ask Jesus to free you from your personal ism. It’s freedom from a theologically correct life of misery.
Amen. Amen. Amen. Great comment Kyle.
AMEN Kyle – thank you so much for sharing such an excellent testimony and example!
I absolutely love this post!!! I love the simplicity of the message of Jesus. We make it way too hard and we do add to it to make our flesh feel better. Jesus is enough!!! Forever and always. Reject that hybrid seed. Thank you for sharing this.
WOW!! I was just blessed reading this post….EXCELLENT! I especially loved this quote: “Believe what you read, rather than read into scripture, what you prefer to believe!”. Spot on! Using scripture to back up the points was on point!
In these days where the spirit of deception is so rampant on the earth, we must guard our spiritual eyes and our spiritual ears. We must keep our eyes in the Word and on the Word.
Post resonates with the fear of God. Which is a good thing.
The fear of THE LORD is clean
