“Let Me tell you about this famine that is coming to America.”

I was up in the wee hours praying on Friday, and the Lord said, “Let me tell you about this famine that is coming to America.”

I grabbed my phone and started typing, as I had not yet gotten out of bed.

“I am the Bread of Life, but many people do not even know Me. I am able to feed my own out of thin air, just as I fed them with manna long ago. There was no food in the desert and there were many mouths to feed, but I fed them easily even through years of famine in areas all around them. I shall do that again for those who know Me well. Others will do without. My people will be persecuted in that time because they will radiate health even as those all around them die.

The physical condition of people then will reflect the spiritual. If they are rich in My Word, if My Word abides in them, they will be well fed. If there is none of My Word in them there will also be no food in them.”

Note: I saw then that the famine is to help unbelievers come to know Him. He is showing them He is truly the Bread of Life. These are those who have refused in the face of all else to turn to Him. The famine is actually mercy for those who still don’t know Him at this point.

“Many shall want to serve Me in that time when they realize I am providing for My own what they cannot get for themselves, but there will also be a famine of My Word and great and harsh persecution of those who refuse to deny Me, so learning of Me then will be almost impossible.

You are near the end, My children and events are speeding up. I am anxious to bring you home to Me. Stand firm and do not turn back from your faith, for you are nearly home and your reward shall be very great in heaven. Do not sell your birthright for a bowl of food in that time.”

14 And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground.
15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they wist not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the Lord hath given you to eat. (Exodus 16:14-15)

4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.
5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.
6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.
7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (John 15:4-7)

30 They said therefore unto him, What sign shewest thou then, that we may see, and believe thee? what dost thou work?
31 Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat.
32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.
33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
34 Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.
36 But I said unto you, That ye also have seen me, and believe not.
37 All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out. (John 6:30-37)

9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake.
10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. (Matthew 24:9-14)

Glynda Lomax

Author: Glynda Lomax

The Lord began giving Glynda Lomax prophetic words and visions when she was in her twenties. She began to have visions and dream visions, which at that time related to her personal life, but it was not until 1996 that she truly got into an intimate walk with Him. In 1997, she began to receive very vivid open visions as well as dream visions and prophetic words. In early 2008, the open visions came with a new intensity, so powerful that she would feel as if a wall of wind had hit her as the visions opened up before her. In December of 2008, the Lord began to show her end times visions. Just before 2011 began, He gave her several consecutive words in a short period of time for His people. She inquired of Him about receiving so many words in such a short time and He sent her a word the next day through a prophet that He is going to pour out His Spirit. That night He spoke to her to begin a blog to release them to His people, which is when she started Wings of Prophecy.

In response to my prayers about not having a spirit of fear in these tumultuous times, God has been leading me again and again to Psalm 37. I recommend everyone meditates on it! For this prophecy in particular,

“The blameless spend their days under the Lord’s care,
And their inheritance will endure forever.
In times of disaster they will not wither;
In days of famine they will enjoy plenty.”
– Psalm 37:17-18

Thank you for sharing this word Glenda. God has been showing me the same especially how he fed the Israelites in the wilderness. I believe all these warnings are given so we will strengthen ourselves in the Lord. He will always provide for those who put their trust in him. He is a good Father. He has not given us a spirit of fear. We are to be triumphant in the face of all things if we be found in him. Many will indeed give away their birthright for one morsel of food. What a sad day for them.

I need help with this line and have heard it before… Many will indeed give away their birthright for one morsel of food. What does giving away your birthright mean? I am new to z3 and am learning so much that it makes me dizzy. Thank you, John~

Hi John, Jacob’s brother Esau traded his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of stew which he later regreted but could not change it.Genesis chapter 25 When the anti-christ demands that you recieve his mark, name, or number in order to buy or sell (Revelation ch. 13) you must not conform or you will be lost eternally.

John, in Genesis 25 v 29-34 Esau, the eldest brother, came back really hungry after hunting.Jacob, the younger brother, had cooked a stew.
Esau agreed to let his younger brother have his birthright if he would only give him some food.
The birthright is the larger portion of blessing, entitlements and responsibilties that the firstborn gets.He thought so little of it he agreed his younger brother could have it , for a bowl of lentil stew.
The saying “giving away your birthright ” means that some could value food or anything else more than their salvation in the coming days of difficulty.

Rowena, Avidan and Jim, thank you for the explanation of giving away your birthright.

Hey John I see there was a lot of input on the giving away of the birthright. It does come from the story of Esau which I believe is prophetic in nature and symbolizes all those that forsake Christ to satisfy the temporary desires of the flesh especially when they are faced with do I eat or do I deny Christ and receive the mark that pledges my allegiance to a false deity for all of eternity. God bless you.

I think this may symbolize the microchip that without it you can’t buy food. I have had two dreams where I was involuntarily microchipped. The moment I try to tear away the microchip from my leg, there were these people with evil grins that tried to chase me to implant me again. The time is short and I pray that people do not willingly give their soul for the riches of this world.

John,

While it is true that Esau sold his birthright, he wouldn’t have sold it if Jacob hadn’t asked him for it. Read Genesis 25:31.

Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come (Luke 17:1).

Therefore, I would do well if I do not follow Esau’s example, but woe be unto me if I should follow Jacob’s example and cause my brother or sister to sell his or her birthright by refusing him or her a bowl of food.

Read what The Almighty said of Esau
Read Malachi I:2-3.
Things might transpire that way but Jacob is the chosen one.

Avidan,

I read the passage you mentioned. I wasn’t calling into question the Lord’s choice. I was calling attention to the behavior of one of the Lord’s chosen in a particular circumstance.

We tend to we crucify those who experience God’s wrath and exalt those who experience God’s favor, conveniently forgetting that if not for the Lord’s mercy, both parties would have tasted God’s wrath.

Esau gave away his birthright for food.(lentil soup).
This Esau’s doing has become a proverb.

I pray each one of us does not lose our inheritance for the love of this World.
–then we shall be become a proverb like Esau.

Do you remember the life story of Esau, he away his birthright for food(lentil stew).
It is well documented in the Scriptures see
Genesis 25:19 through 25.
