Before the Fireworks Go Off in this Nation, Fireworks Will Go Off in the Market

fireworks

As I was siting here at work today, the Holy Spirit spoke to me the time frame of the next market hit. I am not invested in the market, but for those who currently are, I was given, “In the next several weeks the market will take a hit.”

Again, I asked the Lord for reassurance and He said, “Before the fireworks go off in this nation, fireworks will go off in the market.”

The Holy Spirit also spoke, “God wants his people to be givers to His kingdom, and not greedy.”

I am no market expert, but with all the dreams people are having in Z3 News, I believe this would be the proper time frame.

Matt your dream may have hit the mark today June 24 with the Brexit vote to Leave the EU. I like how you just put the dream out there and left it alone. Sometimes the dream interpretations can be so confusing and can be longer than the dream it self. I think there is a lot to be said for just putting the dream out there and having each of us go to the Lord and ask him on an individual basis how we should respond. So now we wait to see how the vote impacts the US stock market.

Behold the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom, and to depart from evil is understanding. Job 28.28

Lord here is Adonai. Means master or owner. As Adonai he has a right to claim the unrestricted obedience of all.

2 Samuel 12.9 it says of David that in his sin ‘David despised the commandment of the Lord to do evil in his sight’

In 1 Sam 15.23 we are told that rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubborness is as iniquity and idolatry

Do you understand the price that God has payed for you?

There are consequences for our stubborness and rebellion. There are blessings and rewards for obedience, faithfulness, whole hearted devotion.

    Please read Deuteronomy 28

Please don’t despise the Lord commandments. Its very serious. We have the holyspirit to lead us and empower us. The holyspirit does not lead us to walk out our lives in defiance of Holy God. If you want to make up your own rules he will bring correction and I can tell you from experience that it is not very nice

But if his descendants forsake my instructions and fail to obey my regulations, if they do not obey my decrees and fail to keep my commands, then i will punish their sin with the rod, and their disobedience with beating. But I will never stop loving him nor fail to keep my promise to him. In psalm 89

The entire law of the Tithe is in Deuteronomy 14 : 22 -29 & I encourage reading chap. 15 with it . For me I pray where GOD wants me to give and how much . There might be a single mother or family out of work I don’t know about ABBA wants me to help , don’t make giving a formula , but a demonstration of Love , imho .

Rick Joyner once stated that in observing a lot of ministries over the decades, those who tithed were low maintenance/generally high impact and those who didn’t tithe were high maintenance/sometimes high impact. He said tithing in the NT was a given because it began with Melchizedek which is also in the Book of Hebrews.
Interesting also is that Neville Johnson said the Lord clearly told him that if a person is not tithing before this coming economic collapse they will have nothing to sow.

I read a number of the tithe posts for and against but not all of them, too many. Here is my experience. To my knowledge it is the only scenario where God said test Me in this. I did that 2 different years to see if the windows of heaven would open as promised. Nada. So for years I was in the 2Cor.9 crowd until I read a book by a traveling ministry, don’t remember the name, who said he had ministered in 60+ countries and only knew of 2 churches who were so blessed financially they had no need. He went on to explain that according to calculations the Hebrew children actually were giving about 22% of their income when offerings were included. Later I learned that a good portion of the books of the minor prophets were written to us, the end time generation. If you read Malachi carefully one will see the transition from then to now. As was stated above, 10% belongs to the Lord. My
position is if you give just 10% you haven’t given anything at all. Just returned to the Lord what belongs to Him. 10% is the benchmark. I made the decision I was going to give 20% but backed off to 15% as at the time it just wasn’t doable. Last year was the first full test and I am happy to report it was my best financially. I paid more in taxes than I used to make. However, I fully believe the attitude of the heart plays a big part….God loves a cheerful giver.

I don’t believe giving more than 10% is required before God is moved but I agree about it being the benchmark or minimum. My experience is that it’s important to give God 10% of gross, 10% of net is not giving God the first 10% it’s giving the government the first and giving God out of the left overs.

At a minimum my experience is that the 10% tithe protects the 90% from being stripped or taken by the enemy and ill fortune. In a very real way everyone tithes those that do it willingly have the 90% protected, those that don’t give the enemy permission to take the 10% through “bad luck and miss fortune”.

Thanks Julz for that explanation. I understand the reasoning behind tithing more clearly now. I’m working on being a better giver and your explanation of giving God 10% of gross not net makes a lot of sense. He deserves the BEST and this is a way to honor and give Him glory.

It is important to be led by the Holy Spirit because the Holy Spirit will not contradict the Word of God. We can endlessly debate on how much to give. I will say that we should give as the Spirit leads us to give.

God has given us free will. He has given us his Word. He has also given us the Holy Spirit.

I have free will because God desires that I come to him willingly. But I can willingly do the opposite as well.

His Word is profitable for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness, but I can use the same Word to become a modern-day Pharisee.

The Holy Spirit is my helper and the one who guides me into all truth. I can listen to how he shows to apply the Word of God to my life or I can cling on to how I think I should apply the Word of God to my life.

If we are the sons and daughters of God as the Scripture says we are through our faith in Christ Jesus, then let us live out our lives like the firstborn among us:

The Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.

Therefore, live like your Father in heaven shows you to live. Give as your Father in heaven shows you to give.

      Blessings in Christ!

I’m sure everyone can agree about giving from the heart and as led by the Spirit. When I allowed myself to only give that way however I consistently ended up giving less that 10% and I never thrived financially. When I treated 10% as obedience and then gave additional as led by he spirit things changed very fast in my finances.

Eldon, Thanks Brother. Lord answered my question about Tithe through you. Could you please elaborate how you were giving the 15%. Like how much to local church and other churches, how much to charity and to those in need and from gross or net income. Will be a blessing to all.

I had a dream last night that seems to allude to the timing of the market crash. I usually don’t dream about anything relating to the stock market, so this one stood out. The beginning is unclear, but I think I’m back in college and school has just let out for the summer. I’m not sure where I am, but it’s inside a city, although I don’t see any tall buildings or skyscrapers. There’s something going on outside, and when I make my way out into the street, I realize that there’s a bull on the loose. It might be a longhorn, or I just have the feeling of being in Texas, so I’m not sure. Everyone is afraid of it, and nobody wants to get close to it, much less catch it. I’m not concerned about it, so I try to reassure everyone that it will be okay, and that there’s nothing to worry about. I make my way up to the bull, look it in the eyes for a moment, and then grab it by the horns. It fights a little but I manage to keep it under control. I’m wondering what I need to do with it, when all of a sudden, someone shoots the bull. I’m in shock, and even a little angry, as the bull falls to the ground. I know I need to get it somewhere where it can recover. I take the bull to what seems to be the second floor of some building. I know the bull is hurt badly, but I’m not sure if it’s a mortal wound. End of dream.

If I remember the beginning correctly, and school had just let out for the summer break, then that would suggest the timing of the crash. Whether it’s this summer, or another, is not certain. The bull struggled a little after I grabbed it, so there may be a little volatility for a short time, but then it dropped quickly once it was shot. So it seems like a fast developing crash once it begins to unfold. The second floor seems to represent our call to action as believers to pray and seek God as things unfold in order to affect our personal sphere of influence.

I believe we are still in the big punch, but I pulled out a few weeks ago after I became unsure about the interpretation of the two dreams I had about .89889 and .98889. I am waiting to see which one it reaches first. If it goes to .98889 then the next move would be 1.35, but if it goes to .89889, which I originally thought was unbelievable, then the next move would be .98889 and then on to 1.35. I am looking for a big move down in the euro and franc soon, possibly around May 25.

        James and Matt,
Thank you for this word. I live just outside the NY/NJ metro area and on the afternoon after you posted this message I spoke to a good friend of mine who is a brother in Christ and this was confirmation for him from information he had received . He told me he has two family members from different sides of his family, one recently laid off from Wall street and the other still working on Wall street, but independently they both told him to get out of the market because it is going to drop by 1/3 or down to 13,000 this summer. Let’s pray that the shaking will bring many souls the Lord!

Just as a sidebar, my focus is on the Lord and not finances. I appreciate all of the complex financial revelation you have received, but I find it very confusing so I made an investment in precious metal. I state this information only to explaint that I am by no means into finance at all or do I normally talk to my friend about finances. We usually only talk about scripture and how to reach people with the gospel. But I love when the Lord gives confirmation from unlikely sources! God bless and keep up the good work!

Perhaps this dream I had confirms your message Matt, perhaps not. But I felt it was relevant. Tiny bit of context: The Lord spoke to me in July of 2014, that some kind of economic catastrophe would begin within a few months of February 2016. The following dream I had on 7/28/15 which was also about fireworks. I don’t include the interpretation’s I’ve gotten so far because I want to hear if anyone else wants to interpret it at all. Pay attention more so to the 1st part as this is the section that has fireworks in it.

1st part: I’m in a yard which I had witnessed there was this firework show. There’s this friend who’s name was possibly Eric that is with me who is a cop off duty. We are sneaking up on this yard along this back fence. We were sneaking up on this group of people who were the firework people (people that set fireworks off) but may have also been an elite gang. After sneaking up on them we shout “hey.” We startled them. My friend cop says “Do you know who I am?”

Then he lets himself be known, he was possibly named Eric. Then we go back to where we were in this camp area. This gang or firework setting people had set off fireworks towards a cop base on a hill, it exploded right by the cop base.

2nd dream: I’m in a poker game with my family and pastor watching me. I say I just want to experience gambling a little bit, I start with $2000 worth of gold as we were playing poker with gold. Some people had left the game. I wasn’t winning any major big hands but was gradually accumulating gold throughout the game. My older brother Caleb was the one narrating the game, or the ref. It came down to three people left in this game. We all had stacks of gold but each type of gold was a little bit different. One guy had soft gold. I had Asian gold at first, but then toward the end of the game, my gold was in a harder form like it’s natural resource from being mined. And the other guy had another form of hard gold. I might have had the second most out of the three. I ask if I can cash in now. The answer back was no, it’s a tournament, you have to go till the very end. I’m getting more and more gold as I keep playing. My Father says “the reason why I’m in the game this long is because I have discernment, or the reason why all these that are left in the game is because they have discernment.” My brother Caleb changed up the game at the very end. He says, ok, let’s change it up and play for everything with the last hand. He said let’s play the last hand with a game of UNO (which means you know). So I went head to head with the guy who had soft gold for everything with this last hand. I got my Uno cards dealt to me and I say, I don’t know how to play Uno. This isn’t right, we’re switching from poker to uno. The first thing you had to do for this last hand is stack your deck. I say I don’t know how to do this, so at first I start aligning all my cards by color. I align them by a rainbow type effect than throw in a wild card than do it by streaks of the same type of same color. I never found out what the conclusion was.

3rd dream: I’m going down this path walking next to this jeep with all the family members of these boy scouts. The boy scouts are in this outdoor theater, singing this song getting louder and louder (boom shaka lalala, boom shaka lalala) as we are sneaking up behind them in this outdoor theater and the boy scouts don’t know that we, the families are there. I’m now standing behind this Theater in the back away from where the boy scouts are facing on this huge stump of a very large red wood tree, could fit many people on it but I was the only one on it, with the families behind me. When the song got really loud toward the very end of the song, we the families all scream very loudly scaring the boyscouts, one got really terrified looking behind seeing all the family. Then my brother Andrew is up front giving a speech about boy scouts having merit to everyone. In this speech there was healing as like a counselor. I could hear the boy heart in Andrew speaking about merit, that when he was young he was wanting to do merits.

I am very late to this conversation, so I will not expect a reply. This is for anyone who comes across the second dream of Mr. P about starting off with $2000 in gold, not being able to cash out, and having the game switched on him with unknown outcome.

Pastor Stephen L. Bening has the following prophecy:

“I have been warning people for many years: since before the time that I met Matthew Stephen in 2007, that gold will hit $2,000 per ounce and then it will crash (actually, the Lord said to me that when gold hits $2,000, I must sell. He didn’t say what would happen to the price). Therefore, anyone who invests in gold coins must sell their gold if they wish to avoid the crash in the gold price (or some other reason arises that would make it impossible to sell gold) and turn it into cash. Anyone who holds gold after that time will only be able to use it for barter and even that is questionable. Matthew Stephen has prophesied for many years that gold would hit $1,500, then it would behave like a roller coaster, and then it would crash. Gold is at $1,740 per ounce today and is rising as I update this article on September 12, 2012. These two prophetic words go hand in hand. The first part of the Matthew Stephen gold prophecy has been fulfilled. Gold has gone through the $1,500 level. The second part is also fulfilled. Gold has behaved in roller coaster fashion. Gold reached $1,920 in 2011 and then it fell back, so my prophecy of $2,000 gold has not been fulfilled yet. But, it is coming, and when it does, you are advised to sell your gold at that time if you wish to redeem it for cash. Matthew Stephen has prophesied that when gold crashes, it will crash to the $250-$300 per ounce level. ”
      http://www.angelfire.com/fl3/gammadim/tribvoice/today09122012.html

My guess: In the dream, Mr. P was in the game so long because he had discernment. This dream was given to him because he could understand, and the rest of us, that holding on to gold for so long, beyond the $2000 per ounce value, would result in him not being able to cash out or not having a rewarding outcome.

One of the toughest things to peace out when it comes to prophecies is timing. I wonder if that prophecy was not for that year. I say this because there have been many prophecies saying silver will exponentially increase with the economic crash. That means gold will also go up tremendously but not as fast as silver because of the difference in historical gold to silver ratios. I would be a suprise if $2,000 was the price of gold when the economic collapse happens.

I got some $ 23 puts out to 1/20/17 and some $22.00 puts I did buy them few months ago when everyone thought fed was going to raise rates. So they where cheaper but as the sheep learn the fed will never raise rates again the dollar will unwind fast the only reason its been up the last few days is fed sent some fed presidents out jawboning saying the June 16 th meeting is live which is total lie the dollar broke 92.50 few days ago and was about to drop off a cliff the fed panic and sent cheerleaders out . This will not work much longer and when June meeting comes and no hike I believe the dollar will quickly unwind to the 80 range which will put UUP around 21 ish and it could go much lower if they pull false flag event.

Legendary market historian and well-known strategist Martin Armstrong comments on recent market events and explains his forecast for stocks, bonds, currencies, and gold. Martin also provides his long-term outlook on China, US interest rates, and provides a key psychological level to watch on the Dow to determine whether US markets will crash further or consolidate. Ultimately, he believes that a loss of confidence in sovereign debt and government paper means all assets (aside from bonds) will be heading higher in the years ahead, quite possibly after another major shakeout.

Ali Winters 2 May post on her awatchmanonthewall blog has just given me further confirmation. At Unity Rd, Bethels i did a Jehrico walk around the property. The Lord said that when it was completed he would tell me what to shout out. He said to shout ‘I Am Redeemed’. Anyone else walking around in circles? I realise what im doing, only to stop myself, then 5 minutes later im back walking in circles again. And today like Ali mentions the song. Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, let the redeemed of the Lord say so..i am redeemed, i am redeemed. Those walls are gonna come down. Revival and Judgement in the same day. Both terrible and wonderful. Lord help us.

Gold and silver mining stocks will go up, but mining stocks for minerals like iron, zinc, copper, etc will drop, since they are used in construction and manufacturing. Platinum and palladium are not so predictable.

Should go up as investors buy for safety, so I am thinking mining stocks will go up as well along with the price of gold.

Mike Larson announced today: “But I have one “under the radar” recession indicator I never, EVER ignore. And right now, it’s flashing red.”

I believe the Holy Spirit told me there would be 3 waves of crashes: CORRECTION, RECESSION, DEPRESSION. The warning signs are surfacing even in the secular arena. It seems as if the timing will be very soon for the first “correction” wave that the markets are expecting and is long over due. It also seems as if the second crashing wave will happen shortly thereafter before the end of June. This is when bank failures overseas and in America begin to unfold causing panic selling.

The 3rd and final blow will be the death of the dollar and a full blown depression possibly by September. July and August may bring some false hope from a deceiving government which will rally the markets a bit, but it will be short lived. By the end of June I would suspect we will have received Gods transfer of his wealth and revelation as to how He wants it distributed for His purposes.

Many believe Trump holds the key to prosperity and jobs however with a depression unfolding come November, many will become dependent on the government and its establishment drawing many Trump supporters back to dependency because they believe that only big government can save everyone and not the work of one man.

We must pray against this “government will protect us” deception or else we will be enslaved again as a nation. Trump began the work that God initiated because no man was willing and able to take on the establishment but God used Trump to ignite the fire that the church must keep going. We must fight for what we believe and be bold and courageous. Trump has many faults, but boldness is not one of them. God commanded us to be bold, very bold and courageous and He has shown the church what that looks like. Unfortunately, many are too offended toward Trump in the natural to see what God wants us to see in the spiritual. Don’t look at the man, look at what God is revealing to His church and how we can be this zealous for Christ as Trump is for America. We as Christians need to “make His church great again”.

Both Mark Taylor who prophesied Trump taking office and Stan Johnson of the Prophesy Club who has warned that 20-50 suitcase bombs will explode in American cities with a new republic declared by July 4 are pro Trump as is Dave Hodges of The Common Sense Show. God has used Trump as a giant spotlight exposing the country’s corruption and the dangers of the “establishment” ( NWO). Trump points to the stupid decisions our leaders have been making but we know it is deliberate treason.

I have been praying over whether to hold on to my mining stocks during the impending crash. Gold and silver has been facing record paper shorts this week but both the metals and metal stocks have held up rather well considering the level of shorts. Some pullback and profit-taking was expected.

I feel that the price of gold and silver will continue to rise during the crash… but I am unsure how the mining stocks will react during the crash. Will they be pulled down along with everything else or pushed higher?

I would really appreciate any advice or insights that any of you wish to contribute.

We will not go straight to armageddon where cash is worthless and markets are frozen, so personally I would not sell it now. There are safe haven stocks in a crash of which precious metal miners are an example, even if we get indiscriminate panic selling of the indices gold miners are too small to be in the major indices so they will not get caught up in it. Gold itself could come under pressure if the crash is associated with a USD rally (such as the 30% fall in the CHF James is seeing) so be aware of that. There would be other drivers such as safe haven flows partially offsetting such a move however I do hold short EUR and short CHF positions to hedge this risk.

I got clobbered in a gold stock in 1987 because I though like what you wrote there, about them being safe havens. Gold was a safe haven in 1987, not the gold stocks.Trust my experience on this. Go look at the 1987 charts.

I believe you, 87 was a bubble in nearly every stock and it forced some reality into the equation very quickly. I don’t think gold miners are in the same over valued territory here, they have come a long way very fast but they have done this from a deeply undervalued starting position.

Mining stocks: Very interesting complexity. 1. there is a great opportunity to multiply your investments (the term often used is 10 bagger which means 10 times your investment). 2. They are currently leading because this is the initial way commercials are hedging their short positions. However, here are the concerns. 1. Miners have a history of bad management and suspicious activities like diluting investors as markets turn positive. 2. The good mines might be bought out quite quickly, thus, you’ll have a nice profit but will then be shut out. 3. Countries may begin to either nationalize or implement special taxes on miners as the currencies collapse. 4. It is very hard to find reliable data on smaller mining companies. I have thought about investing in some well-known mines etc. But in the end I decided to exit the entire paper system. If you choose to invest I would suggest to be nimble

I would like to state once again, with honest humility, please be very careful playing the paper markets because of counter-party risk. If the market tanks as badly as God warns then even if you are up in paper profits they WILL BE FROZEN! Look at China recently where the government did not allow any large owners of shares to sell any for 6 then 9 month periods. It is infinitely more dangerous if you are playing the leveraged derivatives of Forex markets. I have a sense that for some there is a danger of feeling that because we are children of God we are entitled to a wealth transfer – perhaps – but in this manner? Also, I have read some that say they will cash in on supposed inside information shared here and then buy physical Gold and Silver. However, I feel strongly that when this goes – you will not be able to buy physical as it will go no bid, and if you own paper Gold or Silver the best case would be for you to be able to settle in paper no way near what the physical market is. Hope this helps.

I’m no economist and have such great respect for Martin Armstrong’s work but if bonds collapse that IMO is a systemic problem that will effect everything–the stock market, govt, corporations, citizens. I liken a bond collapse to a heart attack If your heart has a heart attack every organ will be affected–kidneys, liver everything. So yes it would affect stock market i think. it’s going to be a wild ride- fasten in to your relationship with Jesus. I was completely convicted that time to witness and save souls is becoming shorter and shorter. I also think we all need to check ourselves with sins that are serious to the Lord. For me personally the list included complete forgiveness, keeping his holy day holy and stealing from the Lord by not tithing 10% faithfully. Sometimes what you need from Holy Spirit is not what you wanted or asked for…but oh the glory of being given revelation from God’s throne! Shalom.

Why do so many Christians believe they have to tithe 10%. Isn’t 100% of money the Lord’s…. aren’t you supposed to use it all to help advance his kingdom. Personally I believe that the New Testament never instructs us to give 10%. It tells us to be faithful, generous, without condemnation, to give according to our income and to give according to how the Holy Spirit directs. All early christian literature that I have read do not even talk about 10% at all….

          It’s an OT concept:

“Then after his return from the defeat of Chedorlaomer and the kings who were with him, the king of Sodom went out to meet him at the valley of Shaveh (that is, the King’s Valley). And Melchizedek king of Salem brought out bread and wine; now he was a priest of God Most High.
He blessed him and said, “Blessed be Abram of God Most High, Possessor of heaven and earth; And blessed be God Most High, Who has delivered your enemies into your hand.” He gave him a tenth of all.” Genesis 14: 17-20

‘Thus all the tithe of the land, of the seed of the land or of the fruit of the tree, is the Lord’s; it is holy to the Lord.” Leviticus 27:30

However, if modern church leaders have adopted this, we are also asked to obey. In NT, Christ said:

“Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and to His disciples, saying: “The scribes and the Pharisees have seated themselves in the chair of Moses; therefore all that they tell you, do and observe, but do not do according to their deeds; for they say things and do not do them.” – Matthew 23:3

The scribes and Pharisees operated with the authority of Moses. In our modern day church terms, the leaders would be operating with Christ’s given authority. So we are to obey our leaders if they call for tithing according to OT. But if there’s no minimum, we follow the NT, and of course, in either way, we give as much as we can and as the Spirit leads:

“Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I directed the churches of Galatia, so do you also. On the first day of every week each one of you is to put aside and save, as he may prosper, so that no collections be made when I come.” – 1 Corinthians 16:1-2

“Each one must do just as he has purposed in his heart, not grudgingly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.” 2 Corinthians 9:7

Hope this clears this up. God bless!

Our instructions to tithe do not come from church leaders, but directly from the Lord Jesus when he said to the Pharisees, “Woe to you, teachers of the law and Pharisees, you hypocrites! You give a tenth of your spices—mint, dill and cummin. But you have neglected the more important matters of the law—justice, mercy and faithfulness. You should have practiced the latter, without neglecting the former.” (Mathew 23:23)

By saying they should not neglect the former, He validated God’s commands to tithe. There are no scriptures telling us to stop tithing or that it is optional or that we should only tithe if our church leaders tell us to. According to Malachi 3:8 we would be robbing God if we do not give Him the tithe. Each of us will be held accountable to God for our obedience or disobedience, including church leaders.

2 Corinthians 9:7 reveals the attitude that pleases God regarding our tithes and offerings, but it is not an excuse to stop tithing.

But isnt Jesus speaking specifically to the Pharisees and teachers of the law? Ive heard this argument given before. Should I invest in a spice company then and start to give 10 percent of my returns? Funny thing is when I was a roman catholic they never harped on us for giving ten percent and our family was blessed. As I said Im open for more input on this subject.

Jesus validated tithing by telling the Pharisees they should not neglect it. We would be wise to follow His instructions.

That is very interesting. Never thought about it that way. I don’t tithe religously because I believe it may be a curse….if one tries to follow the old testament tithe than one should follow all of it. Howver I can recognise that a merciful God will look at the heart of the believer and base his rewards on that rather than that of the law.

I dont know specifically if tithing is ONLY and O.T. concept, but what I struggle with
is being obligated to give ten percent and also the idea that we are in effect “stealing from God” if we dont give ten percent. God bless their hearts but some say we must give the ten percent because “it belongs to God” and if we dont give it back to Him we are “robbing” Him. The problem I have with that is, if we are robbing God isnt that the same as “stealing from God”? and if we are stealing from God (not giving the ten percent) isnt that breaking one of the 10 commandments? So with that argument, it seems it always comes back to being legalistic if being obligated to give that 10 percent. Yes, I agree, the ten percent belongs to God, but more to the point, IT ALL BELONGS TO GOD. I say, lets follow the N.T. scriptural advice given for the New Testament saints and be cheerful NOT fearful givers and be prayerful to God asking Him to remove us from ‘the numbers game” mentality and at the same time ask Him to open our hearts to be faithful and obedient and abundant givers! Also let us not throw out O.T, scripture but let us find a balance in giving with sound judgment and discretion.. Just my input folks and I accept feedback gladly on this subject.

God never requires us to give 100% of our money to Him, but He repeatedly requires us to give 10%. The New Testament also teaches tithing, as shown in Mathew 23:23 and Hebrews 7:1-10, which explains how tithing preceded the law so it is not under the law. It is God’s way.

If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness! 24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Sorry, my comment was meant for Alstoq and was not intended to be offensive. I was adding on to your comment about tithing. In my experience, people that are new to tithing are afraid of letting go of their money and trusting the Lord completely and being obedient to the instructions about it that are found in the OT and NT. I myself went through that when I first started tithing, but I felt in my heart that it was what the Lord wanted and I have been blessed in doing so . As with all of God’s promises, when you step out in faith, He will meet you there. As you stated and the point I was trying to make is that it is all about trust and faith. Giving is quite different to tithing. Tithing is by law and giving is by the Holy Spirit. Those who do not tithe based on their interpretation of scripture are not scared of giving. We simply do not believe that tithing by law is the fruit if the spirit.

Note that Jesus would have also told them that they should have circumcised their children on the tenth day. As pharisees who followed the old testament law they were required to tithe. Note that they were to tithe what they had gown but their monetary income (this fits with old testament tithing as only the produce of the field and of animals were tithed). Do you tithe of the veges you grow in your back garden?

Yes truly believe in tithing, I even believe in offering, the other part of Mal 3:10 which includes benevolent [alms- giving to the widow, orphan, motherless, fatherless]. Personal offering [denying myself, taking up my cross, and following Jesus, and offering myself as a living sacrifice, also learning skills [such as cooking, or bliding, etc.. is considered a personal offering to me, and those talents (which I believe is a skill and a seed) you learn them, and then you OFFER teaching them to other so they can learn, and be efficient, and productive men and women of God. )], Time offering [I believe in being on call for God 24/7, and I do my best not to give God garbage time {ex when you wait to a time when you know you will fall asleep trying to study}. First fruits offering [giving God the best of anything I offer him. Just like in Mal ch 1, I would give that garbage to my government, so I am not giving any mess to God. I believe God deserves the best. (ex I wouldn’t put myself in a situation, where I would fall a sleep studying) ]. I also give a maintenance offering, [Just like Haggi, King Solomon, King David, and others desired to make sure God’s kingdom operations are taking care of {ex help the roof fixed for a building truly doing the work of God, Helping get equipment to keep the body fed, or supporting a ministry such a z3news.com}. I truly believe if true men and women of God give tithes and offering you would be fulfilling God’s economic system, and we never have to depend on Satan and government. We wouldn’t need SSI, SSD, EBT, 501-c3. We would be trusting in God to use his people to take care of each other. Sadly, Christians are so divided. They are quick to give to Satan all the time, but when a true man and woman of God ask for a cup of water, we get offended, and then try to find the angle they are coming from. Everyone who claims to be a Christian isn’t trying to take your money for a lifestyle Robin Leech endorses. There are those who are doing kingdom work, and tithing should be to take care of the widows, orphans, motherless, fatherless, etc. It doesn’t matter how much money you have in the market, or you so happen let’s say win the lottery, what good is it for you if God’s kingdom is on the back burner. We want God to be generous to us, but we want to be stingy with him. Trust me, I didn’t always give tithes. But, when you don’t God can easily put a hole in your pocket, and you can lose your money as faster than you had received it. During the tribulation God is going to use his true saints to take care of other true saints. If we aren’t able to buy, sell, or trade then you can not look to the government for help. And, many will run to the real christians, like they always do, when they are in trouble, to help them finance their sin. I would start getting into the habit of tithing and giving now, so God can take care of you, during the hard times of the birth pangs, and the tribulation.

I guess my reply is that in the new testament it all belongs to him. You are required to use all your wealth for the furtherance of God’s kingdom as the Holy Spirit directs. All your soul, all your body, and all your money…. But 10% is better than nothing and I believe it is a good guide as to what to give to Christian organisations, the poor and the needy.

Do you give 100% of your income to God? God has never required that, but His word repeatedly tells us the tenth part belongs to Him, which is why He requires us to give it and tells us we are robbing Him if we hold onto it. The Lord Jesus confirmed this, as I quoted previously. It is wise to follow His instructions and very dangerous to make up your own rules.

I absolutely agree that it is very dangerous to make up your own rules. BTW I think it is amazing how you answer everybody’s comments – I think that takes a tenacity that obviously God has imparted into you.
I said that all my wealth belongs to God.
1 chronicles 29:14 But who am I, and who are my people,
That we should be able to offer so willingly as this?
For all things come from You,
And of Your own we have given You.

That means that with every dollar I use or give I should have an eternal purpose in mind.
Note that there are many things repeated throughout the Old Testament that have been fulfilled through Christ and we do not follow except through him. Jesus himself says in the ‘mint / cumin’ interaction that tithing is part of the law. This includes resting on Saturday, circumcision, celebrating Passover, and many others… Surely you are aware that the law is ‘unprofitable’, that man is justified by faith ‘apart from the deeds of the law’. Reread Hebrews 7
For on the one hand there is an annulling of the former commandment because of its weakness and unprofitableness, for the law made nothing perfect; on the other hand, there is the bringing in of a better hope, through which we draw near to God.

Strict obedience to the ‘law’ has been annulled through Jesus Christ.

                The direction I choose to follow as far as giving are guided by the principles of the new testament. They include;
Abound in the grace of giving: 2 Cor 8
                Be a cheerful giver 2 Cor 9
Give according to one’s ability 1 Cor 16

BTW: It is well documented that early Church did not tithe. I can give you references if you wish.

Trying to pass off tithing as part of the law does not work because it precedes the law. It is God’s ways for man, which we would be wise to follow, which is proven by the fact that Abraham tithed long before Moses was given the law.

1 For this Melchizedek, king of Salem, priest of the Most High God, who met Abraham as he was returning from the slaughter of the kings and blessed him,
2 to whom also Abraham apportioned a tenth part of all the spoils, was first of all, by the translation of his name, king of righteousness, and then also king of Salem, which is king of peace.
3 Without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but made like the Son of God, he remains a priest perpetually.
4 Now observe how great this man was to whom Abraham, the patriarch, gave a tenth of the choicest spoils.
5 And those indeed of the sons of Levi who receive the priest’s office have commandment in the Law to collect a tenth from the people, that is, from their brethren, although these are descended from Abraham.
6 But the one whose genealogy is not traced from them collected a tenth from Abraham and blessed the one who had the promises.
7 But without any dispute the lesser is blessed by the greater.
8 In this case mortal men receive tithes, but in that case one receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives on.
9 And, so to speak, through Abraham even Levi, who received tithes, paid tithes,
10 for he was still in the loins of his father when Melchizedek met him. (Hebrews 7:1-10)

Please note this passage comes from the New Testament. Jesus also validated tithing when he told the Pharisees they should not neglect it. God spoke it to me as the very first rhema word I ever heard saying, “Your tithing is more important than your saving.” I am repeating my points, which means it is now time for me to move on.

                May 8, 2016 at 4:52 PM

I was quoting Jesus who said tithing was part of the law. Matthew 23:23 “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faith.”

Abraham gave 10% of the winnings of a war to Melchizadech and then gave 90% of the winnings back to the original owners. He therefore gave 100% away.

Also note that resting on the Sabbath and circumcision were also done prior to the Mosaic Law. Both of these were fulfilled through Christ as declared by the new testament.

Other scriptures say ” the earth is the Lord’s and the fullness there of.” and All the cattle on a thousand hills are mine says the Lord.
So, God has allowed us to be stewards of a portion of His wealth. Many of Jesus parables make this clear.
He wants us to be wise stewards and control the use of the wealth not let it control us.

Can we discuss what defines the market taking a “hit”? Or what would be the equivalent of “fireworks” going off in the markets? I think this would be a good discussion to avoid having false or exaggerated expectations about this.

Martin Armstrong was interviewed on TruNews, posted on 05/02/16. He is a cycles expert as well as the subject of the film The Forecaster. At about the 1:30 mark, he answered the question about the near future of a possible stock market crash and he said that, “there is no way that the stock market is going to crash.” Then, he said that the bond market was going to crash. Will some of you address what Mr. Armstrong said? Especially, in regards to FAZ.

Michele. I’m no expert on this. Martin Armstrong is an expert but I believe he is dead wrong on this. If the bond market falls apart it will take everything else with it. The reason the bond market is so fragile is because of all the corruption and manipulation. If these hedge funds with billions of assets lose even 10-20% of their portfolio they will panic sell but there will be not enough buyers to fill the orders.

Ed H, what you stated is basically what Rick Wiles said at the end of his show. I sensed that Rick didn’t agree with Martin’s assessment. They both stated that the bond market is driven by the .gov sector (or public sector) and that the failure in the bond market would be due to .gov issues (default, etc.). I remember hearing Rick and others talk, for years, about the derivatives and how they would cause the economic issues, but I don’t recall any specific details being given. I think that it doesn’t matter what the “trigger” is: if God says the market’s coming down, then it’s coming down! Kinda like the Jericho wall! 🙂

For several years I read financial publications from Stansberry Research. I’m sure many of you are familiar with their many secular publications. In 2014 I read Harry Dent’s Demographic Cliff because of my belief that economy reflects human activity. Then I got plugged into TruNews, and now Z3news. By a ‘strange twist’, I visited Stansberry Research last evening. Porter Stansberry had published 4/29 “The Next Panic Is About to Begin” which he called “the most detailed and timely warning I (Porter) have ever written. . . . And let me be clear: These are the facts.” In summary, he presents data defining that a US Dollar currency collapse is imminent, and the trajectory we are on is irreversible. His first supporting point is the breakout in the price of gold, which looks to have began April 25 or 26 (during passover, imagine that!). In his conclusion he begs the reader to DO SOMETHING, and immediately, saying we’ll know if he’s right by the “end of next month”. Among his recommendations 1) raise cash (i.e. sell stuff), 2) buy gold, 3) establish short positions, 4) ease into distressed bonds when they’re trading at safe prices. (You can subscribe to one of his publications for guidance on #4.) I find it interesting that one of the most prescient financial publishers is now documenting what the Holy Spirit has already revealed here.

There are many voices out there, but only God knows the future. We can get confused listening to the so-called experts because some say the markets are moving higher while others say they are moving lower, so someone has to be wrong. I greatly value their analysis of what has happened in the past, but when they start talking about the future I tune them out because they drown out the voice of the one I trust the most. Each of us must make a choice whose report we believe.

I heard this interview and I don’t want to come across arrogant but I believe there were some basic financial misunderstandings in Martin Armstrong’s argument. The concept that was least understood is that bond holders are SENIOR to equity holders. What this means is that if bond holders are taking capital losses it means the equity holders by definition have lost everything (stock price has gone to zero). So in the event he was describing where as a result of too much debt there is wave of defaults it is impossible for stock markets not to get crushed. He also mentioned a depression was coming and made comparisons to the great depression without appreciating that the great depression was the largest stock market crash in history!

The only scenario that would come to close to what Martin was suggesting is if you had hyperinflation and the bonds reduced in value as a result of the currency becoming worthless. Stocks would do a better job of keeping up with inflation in this environment even though they would still get crushed in real inflation adjusted terms (both bonds and stocks would collapse compared to gold). This was not he scenario Martin was describing anyway so it’s somewhat of a mute point.

Armstrong always means government bonds, not corporation bonds, when he talks about his scenario. I might buy corporation bonds after a decline, per your reasoning, not stocks. Similarly, Stansberry amplifies corporation bonds, over stocks. Owning corporation bonds satisfies Armstrong’s “flee gov’t debt” scenario, although I have not heard him say it. And then there are bankrupt oil companies whch may or may not default on a bond. Choose carefully and be diversified. 6% maximum in any one company.

I am undecided about Armstrong or any scenarios.

It’s even more difficult to imagine a scenario where the governments are defaulting but the corporates are ok. Government debt is the backstop and sets the benchmark for nearly everything, once they go banks goes, once banking goes everything else except international blue chips follow.

Look on YouTube for brotherdaryl or I think eyeslikethesun they explain all the hidden messages very well. I think the first video has the same exact dance that the CERN scientists are doing on their video. It’s actually an eye opener of the evil that they are hoping for. As much as we believers pray everyday to seek the Lord. They are as well but to the god of this world.
