In 1971, Saul Alinsky wrote a book called Rules for Radicals. It became the guide book for communist organizers like President Barack Obama.
In the same way that radical communists need rules to help them achieve their goal of world domination, radical Christians need rules to help us achieve our goal of advancing God’s kingdom on earth.
We might not think of ourselves as radical, but anyone who believes their sins are forgiven because a man rose from the dead has to be considered radical. Anyone who believes the creator of the universe lives on the inside of them and even talks to them has to be considered radical.
There are lots of different rules we could list, but the ones I have listed here are all for the purpose of helping us more accurately discern what God reveals in dreams, visions, and prophetic words.
I chose this topic because there have been so many questions raised about prophetic words surrounding this current time and the events coming in the near future. These kinds of questions are only going to increase because the shakings are just now beginning. More shakings means more people will be seeking answers to questions about prophetic words in the days to come. This post is an attempt to answer those questions and provide us with some guidelines to help us keep on track.
So here are my eight rules for radicals.
Rule 1: Do Not Despise the Words of Prophets
The first rule is do not despise the words of prophets, but test everything and hold fast to what is good (1 Thessalonians 5:20-21).
To despise prophetic words means:
- to regard them as worthless, having no value
- to have little or no respect for them
- to have little or no fear that what they are warning could really happen
We all know prophetic words present challenges with trying to discern which ones to believe and which ones to toss. There are also challenges interpreting what they mean. It seems like it would be easier to just throw them all out, but the Bible warns us not to do that.
Some churches have chosen the easy way out by making doctrines claiming God no longer speaks to His people. They claim all of that passed away after the first century apostles. That way there are no messy prophetic questions to deal with, just reject them all! However, according to the Bible, God has never stopped speaking to His people.
If God no longer speaks to us, why would Jesus say, “My sheep hear my voice. I know them, and they follow me” (John 10:27). The primary way we hear His voice is through the Bible, the written word of God, but from start to finish, from Genesis to Revelation, the Bible is filled with examples of God speaking to His people through prophetic dreams, visions, and words. So He speaks to us by both the written word and by His Spirit.
If God no longer speaks to us why would the Apostle Paul include the prophetic ministry as one of the five primary New Testament ministries along with apostles, evangelists, pastors, and teachers? Paul says each type of ministry is given by God to equip us for the work of ministry, to build up our faith, to bring us into unity, to help us to know the Lord, and become more like Him (Ephesians 4:11-13).
The scriptures make it clear prophetic words should not be ignored, yet many Christians do it anyway. Some take it even further by openly attacking, maligning, and mocking prophetic ministry. It really makes me wonder whose side they are on.
The Apostle Paul wrote, “God has exhibited the apostles last of all” and “the scum of the world” (1 Corinthians 4:9-13). I cannot argue with him, but I think prophets are not far behind apostles in the race to the bottom. The world seems more willing to accept the ministry of apostles, evangelists, pastors, and teachers because at least they share things written in a book, which is more like the way the rest of the world does things, but prophets are considered total lunatics because their whole ministry comes by the Spirit in the form of dreams, visions, and rhema words spoken by God. The world has no reference point for that, so they assume prophets are spooky weirdos. So prophets are outcasts, unwanted, and unappreciated. They are widely rejected by the church, by their country, and even by their own family (Matthew 13:57). Only a small remnant pays any attention to what they say. Anyone seeking honor for themselves should find another job because they are not going to find that as a prophet.
Leonard Ravenhill described the prophetic ministry as follows:
- The prophet in his day is fully accepted of God and totally rejected by men.
- The degree of his effectiveness is determined by his measure of unpopularity.
- Compromise is not known to prophets. They have no price tags.
- Prophets are totally other-worldly.
- Prophets are unquestionably controversial and unpardonably hostile.
- Prophets march to another drummer.
- Prophets live in splendid isolation.
- Prophets are ordained by God, but disdained by men.
- Prophets are a scourge to the nation before they are scourged by the nation.
- Prophets are friendless while living and famous when dead.
Since starting this blog in 2012, I have been amazed by how many so-called Christians believe it is their God given mission in life to attack the Lord’s prophets. It really doesn’t even matter what the prophetic word says because they have a problem with anyone who claims to hear anything from God. They attack every prophetic word crying, “False prophet!”
In the first year or so, I used to reply to their comments attempting to show them what the Bible says. However, I soon learned I was wasting my time because none of them cared about that. They could not hear any kind of correction because they already knew everything.
So now I have learned to be more efficient with my time. I just hit delete and move on. No reply sent. No explanation given. No time wasted. Now I can focus on helping people who have ears to hear, which is far more productive. Other visitors don’t have to be bothered by reading all of that nonsense either.
So here is a reply to the prophecy haters whose comments have been deleted without any explanation:
This site strives to help people believe God and understand what He is saying to us today. Since you do not share that goal, please find another website to express your opinions. Any comments you submit here will be deleted. You are wasting your time here, but you are no longer wasting mine. Please go away!
That might sound harsh to some, but the sad truth is not everyone wants to believe the Bible or follow the Lord. We need to cut the troublemakers loose so we can be more effective in helping those who truly want help.
The prophetic ministry can get messy, but we have to learn how to deal with it. Rejecting the prophetic ministry is a mistake because God says He does nothing unless He first reveals His secret counsel to His servants the prophets (Amos 3:7).
Rule 2: Prophecy is Not a Shortcut to God
We all have a tendency to follow the path of least resistance, seeking the easiest way to do things. Some people follow prophetic ministries seeking an easy way to hear from God without taking time to seek the Lord for themselves. Unfortunately, it will not go well for them.
Just as it is a mistake to ignore prophetic words, it is also a mistake to rely on them too much. God requires each of us to come to Him directly, spend time with Him, and stay in right relationship with Him, so we can hear from Him for ourselves rather than relying on someone else to do it for us.
That was okay during Old Testament days, but it is not okay today. In those days, the Lord spoke through prophets because the people did not have the Holy Spirit living in them. But when the Lord was crucified the veil of the temple was torn from top to bottom. Then after the Lord Jesus was raised from the dead, He breathed on His disciples and said, “Receive the Holy Spirit.” Then the Holy Spirit entered into the hearts of those who believed. So today we have been given much more and God requires much more from us.
Rule 3: True Prophecies Never Contradict the Bible
Since God speaks to us through prophecies, we must learn to discern the true from the false. The first test that must be passed is the scripture test. True prophecies never contradict the scriptures.
The Spirit of God never says anything that contradicts the Bible because God never contradicts Himself. So if a prophetic word is truly from God it will always agree with His written word.
To apply this test, we must know what the Bible says, which means we have a responsibility to study. The more we know the scriptures, the more we can recognize false prophecies. The less we know the scriptures, the more likely we are to be deceived by false prophecies.
For example, several people made comments on this site recently claiming the rapture would happen on the day of atonement 2015. In each case, I replied with an explanation why that could not happen based on the scriptures, which I documented in my previous post, Ten Things that Must Happen Before the Rapture. The scriptures reveal many things that must happen before the rapture and many of them are major events that take years to unfold. So those words were easy to expose as false prophecies because there is no way the rapture could happen this year.
In that example, the prophecies involved an event revealed in the Bible, but that is not always the case. If the event is not identified in the Bible we must rely on other ways to discern the prophetic words.
Rule 4: Prophecies Must Bear Witness With Our Spirit
If a prophetic word passes the scripture hurdle, the next rule is it must bear witness with our spirit. This requires discernment, which means we have a responsibility to learn how to discern.
Babies have no discernment. They pick up anything they find on the floor and put it in their mouth. Discernment is something we learn from experience. That means we are going to make some mistakes along the way. However, if we stay humble in asking the Lord to help us, we can learn from our mistakes and grow in our ability to discern.
There is a gift of discernment given in special situations for the work of the ministry (1 Corinthians 12:10), but that gift is specifically for discerning what kind of spirits are operating in the unseen realm for the purpose of binding, loosing, and casting out unclean spirits. The gift of discernment is not necessary for accurately judging prophetic words. The gift of discernment is given for special situations, but the kind of discernment required for judging prophecies is available to every believer in every situation. This kind of discernment can be learned simply by training ourselves through constant practice.
13 For everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, since he is a child.
14 But solid food is for the mature, for those who have their powers of discernment trained by constant practice to distinguish good from evil. (Hebrews 5:13-14)
My wife and I have an old friend named Peggy who is very skilled in discernment. Her skill was not given to her as a gift. She developed it through constant practice. One day she found a snake had crawled up into the engine of her parked car. Most people would not think much about it, but Peggy immediately started practicing discernment asking what does it mean, why did it happen, and what should she do about it. She was always practicing, always seeking to understand why things happened, always asking the Lord to reveal the meaning of things to her. Her eagerness to learn caused her to develop discernment faster than other people who were not paying close attention.
Discerning whether or not a prophetic word bears witness with our spirit is not as black and white as passing the scripture test. With the scripture test we are dealing with things we can see and know because they are written in the Bible. However, when it comes to bearing witness with our spirit we are dealing with things we cannot see and have no way of knowing in the natural realm. We must learn to discern based only on the inner witness.
How is this possible? For man it is impossible, but for God all things are possible (Matthew 19:26). We have to learn to listen to the leading of the Holy Spirit within us to either confirm or reject a prophetic word. A strong sense of peace and confidence about a prophecy is a positive indication the word is bearing witness with our spirit. Feeling uneasy and anxious indicates something is not right. We might not know why it is not right, but we don’t always need to know why. We can just learn to trust the inner witness even when we don’t know anything more than that.
For example, consider the prophetic warnings shared in my previous post published on September 11, Watch Out for Global Economic Collapse Starting in Germany on September 25. In that post I shared a prophetic word posted on a Catholic website, locutions.org, claiming a global economic collapse would begin while the Pope was in the United States, which included the day of atonement.
About a week later on September 20, I started feeling uneasy and anxious about the prophetic warnings in that post, but I could not explain why I felt that way. It was not based on any new information in the news, just an inner witness. So I sought the Lord about it and He gave me the answer, which I shared in my previous post, Go Back to What You Saw at the Beginning.
Sure enough, the prophetic word posted by the Catholic site proved to be a false prophecy. Obviously, it would have been better to discern this before sharing it on this site, but this is an example of the process of learning discernment.
In hindsight, I can see I ignored other warning signs, such as their comments that Pope Francis was a good guy being used by God. I dismissed that as just something Catholics believe, even though I knew it was not right.
The good news is we can learn from our mistakes to be more precise the next time. We don’t have to keep making the same mistakes again and again. If we ask the Lord to help us, we will learn and develop our skills.
So now we have the scripture test and the inner witness test, but even if a prophetic word passes both of those tests there are more tests we can apply.
Rule 5: Prophecies Are Validated by the Testimony of Two Witnesses
Two witnesses are better than one. A prophetic word received by two people is more sure than a prophetic word received by one person.
Jesus quoted the Old Testament law stating the testimony of two witnesses is valid (John 8:17). This is the old rule of safety in numbers.
Many of the posts shared on this site share similar prophetic words from different people in an attempt to validate the words. Other prophetic words shared with me have been discarded and not posted on this site because they lacked a second witness.
If the prophetic word reveals events already identified in the Bible, such as scenes from the Great Tribulation, the person who recorded it in the scriptures is the second witness. Those kinds of words are easy to validate.
If the prophetic word reveals an event not found in the Bible, then a second witness is needed. Without that it should not be shared or acted on. Since the Lord gave us this rule, He understands we need it and He is able to provide a second witness.
The more I learn about prophetic ministry the more reluctant I am to share words without a second witness. Not only that, but both witnesses must be saying the exact same thing. Otherwise it does not count.
Rule 6: Look for Proven Track Records
A prophetic word shared by a person with a proven track record has more credibility than a prophetic word shared by an unknown person. This rule is one I am learning to appreciate more and more.
Some visitors to this site have asked me to stop sharing prophetic words from nobodies, people they have never heard of before. They only want to hear from big name ministries with proven track records, but big name ministries are the only people that have track records. God has an army of believers who have learned to recognize His voice and have proven themselves to be faithful witnesses even though we have never heard of them before.
As stated previously, we all have a tendency to follow the path of least resistance, seeking the easiest way to do things. It is easier to find the prophetic track record for a big name ministry than for an unknown person, but with a little extra effort we can learn a lot about people who are not well known.
Many unknown people are receiving amazing prophetic insights for our nation, our leaders, and the world. God gives those kinds of words for the enlightenment of the whole body of believers, not for personal edification. Those kinds of warnings are meant to be shared with everyone who will listen. There is not question about whether or not God is speaking to His people The only question is, are we willing to listen?
If we limit the prophetic ministry to a handful of big name ministries we will miss many of the treasures the Lord is revealing through His people. It just takes a little extra effort on our part to give them a chance to share what they have heard and get to know more about them. Then we can begin to rely on their prophetic words.
We have developed a community of forex traders on Z3news.com who have shared their prophetic revelations about future price movements by posting comments on our forex articles. Several traders have proven to be very accurate with their revelations. Their insights have proven to be very valuable, but since anyone can post comments it is easy for trolls to post phony revelations and for sincere believers to post wrong revelations. I have already deleted at least one person’s comments for this reason. So we have to keep our guard up and proceed with caution, but in time we can discover new people who hear the Lord clearly. For anyone tracking these revelations, my recommendation is to take notes on what is shared, but do not take action until a proven track record is established.
In the past, the church has relied heavily on big name ministries. However, I believe big changes are coming soon that will change all of that. Jesus warned about increased persecution coming as we get closer to the time of His return. I believe we have already entered into the beginning of a time of increased persecution, which will require believers to rely more on smaller gatherings in secret locations. The only church that will be given a big platform in the days ahead will be the false church, which rejects the Holy Spirit. In other words, the days of big name ministries are soon coming to an end.
In the days ahead, we are going to see the Lord moving through a nameless, faceless army of nobodies. We might not know their name, but we will recognize the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking through them. We are going to see what we should have had all along, the ministry of the Holy Spirit through His people. Then the Lord alone will receive all of the glory for what He has done.
Rule 7: Separate the Words of the Lord from the Words of the Prophet
We must learn to discern the difference between a word from the Lord and a word from the person who received the word. They are not the same thing.
The Apostle Paul shared revelations he received from the Lord, but he also shared his own opinions. He identified when he was giving his own opinion because he wanted us to know it was not to be received on the same level as a word from the Lord (1 Corinthians 7:10). In the same way, many revelations shared today include words from the Lord along with the opinions and assumptions of the person who received it. We must discern the difference, hold onto what the Lord says, and judge carefully what the person is saying.
Whatever God reveals is always true and right, but our own opinions and assumptions are often wrong. Yet, I often see comments where people seem to be unable to tell the difference between the two. They call someone a false prophet because they made a wrong assumption or shared a wrong opinion, but that does not make anyone a false prophet. It only shows they are human. What makes someone a false prophet is attributing words to God that God never spoke.
It would be great if every prophetic word clearly separated the word of the Lord from their own assumptions. Unfortunately, they don’t always make is as clear as the Apostle Paul did. So we must watch out for that and learn to discern the difference.
Rule 8: Accurate Interpretation Requires Humility
Prophetic words often do not mean what we think they mean when we first hear them. We even hear things that were not mentioned in the prophetic word. We fill in the gaps and make assumptions about what we think we heard.
Later, when events do not unfold the way we expected we wonder what happened. Some people even accuse the prophet of being a false prophet without ever even considering they might be the one who failed to properly discern what the Lord was saying. It never occurs to them there could be more to it than what they know because they are so prideful they think they already know everything.
Not only is this is a sign of immaturity and arrogance, but it is also very dangerous because anyone who attacks the Lord’s servants becomes a servant of the adversary, the devil. We can be so blinded by our pride that we take sides against the Lord.
We must remain humble to admit we do not know everything. Our own understanding of what the prophetic word meant could be completely different from what it really meant. When it does not happen like we thought, the first person we should confront is the one in the mirror.
We only know in part and prophesy in part (1 Corinthians 13:9). Even the person who receives the prophecy does not know everything about what God is revealing. If they don’t know then what makes us so sure we know? Only God sees the whole picture.
If we humble ourself, we will recognize we did not get it all the first time, so we will make extra efforts to go back and listen to the word again and again. By paying close attention to every detail, we can separate what we thought we heard from what was really said. Our diligent attention to the details helps us avoid adding anything to the word or taking anything away from it (Proverbs 4:20). As a result, we get a better understanding what God revealed, which helps us get the full benefit of the word while keeping our expectations in line with reality.

I have read the Bible so many times over now that I do not remember any more how many times I have done so. There was a point in time though, when reading it fully for once was my mission to accomplish. Yet, even though I have read it so many times over, it amazes me that so many new insights can come through seemingly dated passages. Just when I think I know all about what a certain passage has to say, I hear something absolutely stunning or revealing from the same passage that I am left stupefied, wondering how did I ever miss that!
So, it does take a certain amount of arrogance to believe one knows the Bible, inside and out, in such depth that no other interpretation or teaching can possibly come from it. Such arrogance breeds ignorance that one now knows all that can be known about God and his Word. And such ignorance puffs one up with pride that he/she is now immune to any kind of deception and therefore in a misguided attempt marches forth to attack anyone claiming to hear from God that is contrary to what he/she believes.
Those who mock and condemn in ignorance should be careful because pride is something even one who was created perfect, holy, and beautiful succumbed to. How much more then should we be humble in our ways, we who are still in the process of being perfected!

Dear James thank you for your clear article on the prophetic. I thought it was great that you shared your own doubts about the article posted about the Catholic prophecy.
As one individual told me even established prophets miss it sometimes.
I agree that God is speaking to his saints globally.Many of whom are totally unknown. I believe some are concealed like the prophets whom Obadiah hid for a specific time. Some are reluctant
to share what God has told them about national issues out of fear and do not what the spotlight turned on them and prefer to live in obsurity.
I agree that most true prophets live a life of solitude not by choice but because they see things differently and oftentimes are engaged in heavy spiritual warfare and can not take things for granted.
One obsure prophet saw the 9/11calamity and shared it publicly with the congregation before it happened. God has shown them the devastation coming to my city a few years ago, the same has been confirmed by other known prophets.

Good teaching James which I think falls in line with Paul’s teaching. The Apostle Paul gave specific instructions in the NT on how prophecies are to be given and evaluated. In the OT you had the lone prophets uttering “thus sayeth the Lord” type proclamations. In the NT however, instead of the lone prophet model, the approach seems to be an orderly and collaborative one within the body, especially among the prophets who weigh what is said with the results birthed out of consensus and unity in the Spirit.
1Cor 14:29-33 Let two or three prophets speak, and let the others weigh what is said. 30 If a revelation is made to another sitting there, let the first be silent. 31 For you can all prophesy one by one, so that all may learn and all be encouraged, 32 and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets. 33 For God is not a God of confusion but of peace.
Captain Fletcher, great observation! The saints all need to remember that All of our ministries now are BODY-of-Christ ministries. No one person receives All seven levels of All nine gifts of the Spirit, so that (1) we will not fall into pride and (2) we will unify with and depend on other saints in these last days. TOGETHER we are one body. Together we will survive. Paul perfectly explained this in 1 Corinthians 12:7-27, where he talked about the ear and the eye both being important parts of the body – along with the foot, hand, nose, head, and parts less honorable or less presentable. In similar fashion, each level of each spiritual gift is important to the body of Christ as a whole. ….. In verse 29 of 1 Corinthians 14:29-33 that you quoted, other translations include “judge” or “consider” in place of “weigh.” So each prophet’s prophecies are to be evaluated by the other prophets. This evaluation would include comparing each prophecy against Scripture for confirmation and lack of error; prophecy must never contradict God’s Word. This is not spelled out in these verses, but is a concept elucidated throughout the scriptures. The evaluation would also entail further weighing or considering by the prophet’s own spirit, checking with the Holy Spirit within. Ultimately, the prophets should concur as judges whether to accept the other prophet’s prophecy as being the rhema (spoken) word of God, with the fear of the Lord over all. (One does not want to either unjustly condemn a true word of God, nor attribute a falsity to Him. This is a great responsibility.) ….. I’d like to highlight 14:32, “and the spirits of prophets are subject to prophets.” The meanings here as I understand them are: “Spirits of prophets” means (1) the Spirit of Prophecy given to each prophet; (2) the kind, category, type, or level (there are 7) of each prophet’s prophetic voice; (3) by extension, the prophecy spoken; and (4) the eternal spirit of each prophet. “Subject to” means under the command or control of. So on the face of it, Paul is saying that each prophet should speak, in turn and in an orderly fashion, as allowed by the other prophets. He is also saying that each prophecy spoken should be evaluated and allowed or disallowed by consensus of the other prophets according to their judgment as arrived at by the process explained above. A deeper meaning is that each prophet commands the Prophetic Power of the Spirit (when they are directed by God!). And another is that each prophet has been given the authority, when directed by God, to command the spirits of other prophets: When Elijah knew he was about to be taken up into heaven, he asked Elisha to name whatever he would like. Elisha asked for a double portion of Elijah’s spirit of prophecy. God granted that request, because in the asking, Elisha acted within His will. And the prophetic acts and voice of Elisha – who until then was only Elijah’s servant and protegee – surpassed those of Elijah. (2 Kings 2) ….. I have heard multiple “big-name” prophets declare that this is the time God is pouring out double portions. So this is the time for prophets to command, decree, or ask for a double portion of whatever prophetic spirit God leads you to desire. – It is also the time for All saints to command, decree, or ask for a double portion of whatever spiritual gift(s) God leads you to desire. Following Elisha’s lead, the next step is to immediately begin walking in it in faith.

I agree, but just to clarify my previous comment… guessing does not work, but if the Lord reveals the the price movements that works great. He has been doing that for several forex traders on this site. Personally, I have not been getting any new insights on the smaller movements, but I was shown the low and the high price for USD/CHF. I used to see graphs, but I asked the Lord to stop showing them to me because I kept getting confused because they rarely included any numbers. Since then I have had some success following the insights shared by Darin, Rob, Nathan, Carl, and others. However, I like your strategy of keeping the focus on the major moves. I also agree we won’t have to wait much longer.
James, what do you think about asking the Lord to start including numbers in the graphs He shows you instead of not seeing the graphs altogether?

Hi James and Jeff, let me introduce myself first. I am a pastor serving God in Hongkong. I think God told me the US dollars will collapse before HIS second coming more than twenty years ago. I know I should prepare for it and the coming tribulation. Therefore I am still learning how to trade Dollars, Gold and Silver though I have traded them for more than 10 years. I totally agree with the prophecies from John Paul Jackson and prophecy of the four seasons about the collapse of dollar. Besides I’ve a very good secular investment advisor. He is tracing the US BANKER’s direction. He found that the US BANKERs buy or sell in New York Market at light and do it in other market at dark. In the other words they use the New York market to hide their real objective. For example, if they want the dollars going up, they may sell dollars in New York and buy it in Singarpore or other markets. In the second stage, they will buy it in both market. And in the third stage, they will sell it in New York Market and buy it in the other market. The alternate of buy and sell in different markets will confuse his opponents and make his opponents falling into their trap. However, the above observation is not 100% right. I am now pulling out to see what will happen.

If I didn’t make myself clear, the dollar is going to drop. Any sudden rise (which I wouldn’t bet on) will be a fleeting moment…….. Prices will double. I’ll say it again, oil, silver and food will double. When war breaks out they will triple……….
Tony says…. From my experience, when they do it secretly (bankers buying), it means the dollars will go up very fast later……… Tony, can you tell me when the bankers DON”T do it secretly ? I think you’re all getting over worked over everything…….. What happened to “back to the original thesis”? What is everyone’s “all clear signal” (to buy their positions)? James, my understanding is you believe the dollar drops by 30% this year. If that is true (and I believe for so many other reasons it will), are you all stuck trying to “time” your positions ? Do you think God is trying to place you in the “perfect” position at the “perfect” time ? I’m just wondering because there seems to be a whole lot of needless concern if you know the outcome…….. I guess this all projects to me lots of concern and less faith…… Am I missing something ?
The event I am watching for is Obama authorizing $1.2 billion in military aid. When that happens the devaluation of the dollar will follow soon afterwards. Until then, the forex could bounce up and down lots of times. Trying to guess the movements does not work so I am not even trying.
I’m not trying to time the markets either. I short every huge rise in the market. The market is down 600 points since the FED meeting…. There is no “middle of the week” bump to be shorted. Very good, very humble, very true post. Excellent comments Josey Wales, anybody who has had an encounter with The Holy Spirit here on Earth can attest that every knee shall bow, and on that day even us who know & love him will be in complete and utter awe. The one thing that crossed my mind while reading this is sin in our lives. I have had my ups and downs and can tell you that WILL keep you from hearing from the Lord. It is just the way God set it up. Sin = separation. If you do want to hear from God, remove the things in your life that are against God’s ways. Small things from little lies to more serious things like sex outside of marriage, addictions, etc. The great news is, if you struggle with these things God is so good….He will help you. Just ask. Everything you need to know is in your Bible. If God would save & speak to a wild sinner like me only 2 weeks after asking Him to be a part of my life, He will surely do the same for any one of us.
Thank you James, for putting your time into studying this and giving guidance on discerning prophecies. I just wanted to mention that, just as true prophecies never contradict the Bible, they also never contradict each other. The only reason why I held the prophecies about Germany’s economic collapse on September 25 as false is because they contradicted other prophecies, such as Michael Boldea’s, regarding the Pope. As Ali has posted on her “A Watchman on the Wall” website, the Pope does not represent the Almighty Jehovah God. Therefore, the Pope will not be used by our God to preach His gospel, and anyone who claims that he will be is proclaiming a false word. I believed at the time that that false prophecy was meant to cause some to doubt the timing the Holy Spirit might have previously given them, causing a loss of lives. We know according to Hosea 4:6, that God’s people perish for lack of knowledge. I did feel led to warn that it was a false prophecy, but I misunderstood the false prophecy’s intentions. I believe it might have been meant to cast doubt on all prophecies, or to make a spectacle out of prophets. We can understand how the priority of the enemy at this time will be to cause us to doubt prophecies, because September is coming to a close and nothing has happened, yet. I can assure you who are beginning to doubt, even though September is coming to a close, it is still September. I believe many people have been given a prophetic word for September, and we can try to put dates on it. I thought something would happen on the 13th, then on the 23rd, then on the 27th during the lunar eclipse, but I was not given a date. I was personally only given the month of September. God used Mena Lee Grebin to confirm to me the revelation He gave me, and she was also only given the month of September, when the black horse begins to ride across America. So I know that I know, today or tomorrow something will happen in America that will take all doubters by surprise. Now is a time to draw very close to our God!

Thank you, James, for this article. It is better to hear from people, even the so-called “nobodies,” than to not hear at all. The Bible tells us in 1 Corin. 14:29: “Two or three prophets should speak, and the others should weigh carefully what is said.” THAT is exactly what we are doing by commenting on prophecies–WEIGHING CAREFULLY WHAT IS SAID. If it lines up with Scripture, it is probably from the Lord. If it doesn’t, than we need to politely point this out. It would be a mistake to forbid listening to prophecies, and by extension interpreted tongues, according to the Bible: “Therefore, my brothers and sisters, be eager to prophesy, and do not forbid speaking in tongues.” (1 Corin. 14:39). We should not forbid either prophecies or tongues, especially when the interpretation is for the edification of the body of believers. So, it is up to all of us to weigh carefully what is said, and, as James pointed out, if it doesn’t line up with the Word, to point that out. If we don’t at least listen to what people have to say, we may miss out on some really important prophecy or word from the Lord, and thus lose out on information of critical importance to our future spiritual and physical well-being.
James, I enjoyed your letter and I need to confess I have feared man more then I have feared God at times. I had multiple dreams the other night and held them back for fear of being wrong, being ridiculed being told you are having to many dreams this can’t be true, etc etc. I do fear the Lord and I don’t ever want to speak when he has not spoken. I have been a born again God fearing Bible believing Christian for 3.5 years. I gave my life to Christ after listening to a prophetic dream given to T.D Hale on the trunews program. I only started receiving dreams and words from the Lord about 2-3 months ago. I am new to this and am doing my best. God forgive me if I fault. I had multiple dreams with multiple parts, I will do my best to describe them. — First dream first part– I was in a recently harvested potato field. It was mainly just dirt. There was a group of us there working in the field. One lady with long, curly, thick, red hair talked to me. I knew that this lady worked for the Federal Reserve. I knew she had a lower level position in the FED, but that she had some inside information. She told me that in two weeks they were going to lower interest rates. I for some reason disagreed with her. telling her that’s impossible. I told her I thought it would be one week away and that it wouldn’t be interest rates but more QE. She insisted it would be two weeks and that it would be lower interest rates. She got very emotional with lots of crying and tears. She was so overcome with weeping I had to hold her up. I knew she was crying because of the pain that this would do to the average person.– Second part first dream– I was in a grocery store in the canned food isle, and the red haired lady was with me. She was still emotional and could not hold herself together. We started a conversation with two strangers and shared with them what the FED was about to do. — Third part first dream– I watched a short slightly over weight middle aged man with mostly bald but graying hair and a slight beard. I watched him walk in the cloths section of a very high end expensive store. In his left hand was a fake hair piece and he threw it in the middle of the room. A well dressed employee picked it up. (in the dream I knew that he threw it on the floor because he wanted a new one. I also knew that the employee knew that without being told.) The employee walked over to the counter and had his back to the shorter man. He was fidgeting with something, then finally turned around and said “how about a big chunk of silver”. –EOD– Second dream that same night.– I was in a darkly lit room with three other people. I knew one of them, I think I knew the second , but I did not know the third. I did not feel comfortable there at all, the room had a feel of witch craft and sorcery. The furniture was expensive leather that looked nice but you knew it was not comfortable, I did not sit down. The three mocked me, called me a fake, and in general put me down. Now I knew that the three of them had prophecies of their own, but before they could tell them to me a boldness came over me and I declared that if the thing I have said does not happen in two weeks then I am not of the Lord.– EOD — This dream really puts me out there for all to see, but it seams to fit the article that James just wrote. I know the Lord has told me about a “9.6 strikes Japan” I continue to pray for them and I am not sure if that falls into the two weeks or not. May God have mercy on us. I don’t feel it would be good for me to give any interpretation because it would just be my words and my thoughts and that’s no good.

Interesting dreams, Darin. Dream #1: When I hear about the dirt potato field, it reminds me of the potato famines in Ireland in the late 1800’s. This could be an indication of future famine. The fact that you and others who normally have other jobs were working there could be an indication that the economy has crashed, that the job market has dried up, except for farm worker jobs. It may also be an indication of FORCED farm labor. The red hair of the lady who worked for the FED could be symbolic of the fact that the FED, and our government, is in the RED, or bankrupt. The red could also be an indication that Red China could be affected by the Fed’s decision. There is already speculation as we speak that the Fed needs to raise interest rates due to “fears of a global slowdown centered on China threaten to push up the value of the U.S. dollar. It’s already up 17% over the past year, depressing U.S. exports and increasing U.S. imports. The Fed wants to avoid making the dollar even more attractive with higher interest rates on Treasury notes. The next part in the grocery store, in the canned food aisle, with people discussing interest rates or QE would seem to indicate that we should stock up on canned goods before interest rates go up, because this announcement could have a huge effect on the availability of food in the near future. In the third part of the dream, the overweight middle-aged man in the department store, tossing away his fake hairpiece could be representative of those puppet masters behind the scenes, who are manipulating worldwide economies. The fake hairpiece symbolizes the dirty tricks the corrupt banksters have used in the past (derivatives, credit swap defaults, QE, etc.) to maximize their own profits while sticking it to the average investor and bank depositor. Now that they have been exposed by many bloggers and websites, they need to get rid of their old disguise and find something new before a larger segment of the population gets wise to their tricks. The reference to a “big chunk of silver” could mean that the banksters may use precious metals temporarily or the appearance of precious metals, through gold and silver-backed securities, to stabilize markets. The second dream in the dark room with an atmosphere of witchcraft with the three people represent false prophets who are working hard behind the scenes to cause confusion and doubt among the believers and others. Your boldness towards them is a word for all of the rest of us to boldly confront the enemy, to speak truth, to expose the deeds of darkness, and, based on the first dream, to prepare both spiritually and physically for the dark days in the future.
Frank, I saw your interpretation for Darin after posting the one I received. What Huge differences between them! And yet, I feel that some of what you’ve written is valid as well. For example, God also brought to my mind the importance of the potato as a dietary staple and the infamous potato famine of Ireland, when a mysterious disease struck virtually the entire potato crop such that beautiful, harvested potatoes would suddenly turn black and inedible; people rushed home to try and get them cooked before they so rotted. (Look at the spiritual parallel here, too; people, do not let your gifts be corrupted through deceit!) However, God wanted me to write with the focus as I did. Like the words in the Bible, when God speaks to us in dreams, there are often Many layers of meanings. While not everything you wrote rang true in my spirit, Every Word in your last section (about the second dream) is EXACTLY right! You too have God’s insight here, as well as in some of the rest. I believe we will see the dollar devalued very soon, but I don’t believe we will see it replaced until after the euro and franc collapse. Even then I saw there will be a short season, which I call season three, in which the dollar still exists, but continues to lose value despite the Fed’s efforts to prop it up. Darin, you are blessed by God! Thank you for sharing your dreams, as they do indeed have significance for the Bride as well as for you. You are correct in discerning that the two dreams are connected. Partial interpretation: –First dream, first part– You were in a potato field recently harvested because God has strengthened your faith as He did Angus Buchan’s in South Africa. God has given you the supernatural gift of Faith (as well as Prophecy through your dreams and other means). Supernatural faith, when you KNOW that you Know GOD Will Act, will come upon you under His direction at specific times for specific purposes. Your confirmation of Faith Like Potatoes is so like God: He gave you symbolism in your dream that you would understand because you had seen the movie, and then He called it to my attention to interpret for precisely the same reason. Sometimes God unfolds more and more depth to prophecies, dream interpretations, and the like. It is like watching a perfect rose come into full bloom slowly, over days, weeks, or even months and years. (But God has already shortened the time, so everything will unfold quickly now.) These dreams will be like that for you. You’ll be in the middle of something, and God will suddenly give you remembrance of a scene or detail, and with that will come a fresh, additional interpretation. He just gave me the starting block for you. And right now (I think to illustrate the point), He just revealed to me why the potato field was Recently harvested: The outpouring of His Spirit has just happened, and the saints have just received the harvest of these gifts. The OT axe cut some trees, the axe’s head fell in the river, and floated. Which was a foreshadow of, ,,NT Christ preached Judgement to the sinners, Christ was buried, and rose from the grave. Trees are people. Nebuchadnezzar was a tree. A bad tree cannot produce good fruit. “The Axe is laid to the root (of the bad trees)”. The Olive Tree is God, which gives us olive oil (Holy Spirit). Jesus is the Branch off that Olive Tree. We gentile saints are wild olive branches grafted onto the Olive Tree (God). Adam (Christ) tended the trees (saints) in the Garden of God. Thanks for the feedback. I agree, we all need to fear the Lord more than we do. It is the beginning of wisdom, and we need more of that too. I believe if He can speak through a donkey, He can speak through any of us if we are willing and obedient. I pray the Lord would help us all to hear His voice more clearly than ever before!
James, yesterday I closed out my forex position because I felt I had become out of touch with the overall short term direction. I was woke up early this morning by a dream in which I was driving into my home town when a warning light on my dash lit up so I pulled over after a short time I pulled on to highway and continued on towards town since I only had about a mile and a half to go. After this dream I couldn’t go back to sleep, it just kept running through my head. Then I thought about that last mile and a half of road I was driving because in the dream I knew exactly where I pulled over, I have to go up a little hill and down the back side around a curve, then half mile straight away before starting up great big hill on edge of town. The great big hill on edge of town is very steep decline on the back side going into city limits. Not sure but I feel when I pulled over due to the warning light was me closing my forex position. Not sure but I feel I have a clearer understanding of where forex might be heading. Don’t know what your thought are about it and won’t bother me if you decide not to post it.
So what was your conclusion from the dream?
I bought US dollars this morning because I think we may only have one little hill up then down before big hill coming into to town. I feel the big hill may represent spike in dollar up then the back side coming down hill may be very sharp decline in dollar, Not worried about the little hill up and down or the curve or straight away because I should be able to hold my long position. I highly recommend James advice on testing things of this nature, because I am definitely a no name and don’t want to be a stumbling block.

I believe it was revealed to Tom that what will happen will closely resemble the terrain of the last mile and a half of the highway before he reaches the city, or the destination. So, there will be a small increase in slope, then a small curvy decrease (not a straight decrease) for a period of time that corresponds to 1 mile. Then there will be no change to the slope for a period of time that corresponds to a half mile and then the slope will begin to steeply decline.
Strange that I am just now seeing Tom’s response, after I already commented on his dream.
Sorry for poor description and slow response but yes I think the dream I had may resemble forex. The most important thing I felt was not the small hill and curve but the large hill with steep decline. The dollar may go pretty high relatively fast and reverse and go down even faster. Sounds dumb right, mabye it is, I just felt like I needed to share it with everyone here because I have received so much from z3 and consider it almost like family.
I’m looking at the USD/CHF 30 minute chart for today 9/29/2015 from about 6 am to 8:58 pm. This is what I’m seeing and I want to know what you all think.
If Tom’s early morning dream was about the pair’s movement in the immediate future, could it be that?
“I have to go up a little hill ” was until 8:30 am
“down the back side around a curve” was from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm (it appears to be generally going down but not straight down, there was a slight rise but not to the height of 8:30 am).
“then half mile straight away before starting up great big hill on edge of town” was from about 4:30 pm to right now when I’m writing this post (8:58 pm ET) it seems fairly level around .971
If this is correct, then the next movement we should expect soon would be a significant rise ” starting up great big hill on edge of town”
and then a very sharp drop “The great big hill on edge of town is very steep decline on the back side going into city limits”
You all’s thoughts?

A couple of weeks ago you shared two dreams in which you saw USD/CHF dropping to .91 very rapidly. Have you abandoned those now?
OH! I think I have abandoned those dreams because I’m not sure they were come from God or not as they were my first time dream about Forex. After those dreams it went up from 0.953 to 0.98X. Nobody confirmed those dreams. You also took them out from your site. And I knew the bankers bought USD last week in the other market (not in NY). I heard it from the other source. From my experience, when they do it secretly, it means the dollars will go up very fast later. So I have abandoned those dreams.
But I still wonder the dollar index will go down to 0.9375`0.94 or not . I remember Rob said that before. You know Rob have a very good track record just like you. So I need to seek your advice.
I don’t have anything clear to give you at this time.
I took a short seat next to Rob on the train at 9800 after I released the word I got “The train is about ready to leave” I have not opened my Forex since. I plan to add more shorts after we hit the loading dock that Nathan saw. Unless I’m told different but so far so good.

Very very good and needed post. Trolls and empty headed, ( and empty spirited, ) flunkies should be deleted, rebuked and ignored. A mild word of caution however about being super quick to shove aside a healthy Godly concern that anyone saying “God told me such and such,” is REALLY from God … can be at the very least counter productive. Visitors here … are asked to put A LOT of faith into people they don’t know and never met when told “God told me.” I’ve had encounters in my life where I’m 100 % sure it was God. Then I’ve had some where I’m maybe 70 % sure. In the old testament if someone claimed God told them these 4 things will happen next month, but only 3 happened … they were stoned to death for being a false prophet. The most significant encounter with God I had was so overwhelming He had to physically calm my fear of Him or I would’ve passed out. Had He stayed longer than the maybe 15 seconds He did, the windows and doors would’ve burst apart because the power of His intelligence alone !!! He could’ve laid waste to an entire country with a mere thought. I felt about as significant as maybe a raccoon or wild dog ? We all need to be real careful when we say God told us something. That’s all. We’re all very grateful for TRUE prophets who FEAR The Lord and wouldn’t DARE lie to us …. His children. We all look forward to each post here … trusting that more likely than not … it’s from God.
