Okay, I am a little upset right now. We have heard from hundreds of you who have encountered sexual predators disguised as pastors and ministry leaders. Listen, I don’t care how anointed you are or how big of a church or a following you have, if you are a sexual predator step down NOW.
Said another way, if you are having any kind of sexual interaction with ANYONE other than your mate, the longer you are “in ministry” the greater disservice you are doing the Body of Christ. Your “growing ministry” will only eventually crash leaving a net result of more devastation than fruit. Even if you are “highly anointed” you are just a Titanic waiting to happen. The only exception is if you fully and completely confess and repent and go through the proper restoration process. That would be a great example.
This is an epidemic in the Body of Christ and it is time to be all done with the excuse-making and covering up for especially the well-known ministers. Yes, I know false accusations can occur and could be very damaging– but in all the correspondence I am receiving, I have yet to hear from even ONE pastor saying, “I was destroyed by a false sexual accusation.” We are way slanted towards throwing the victims under the bus and that just has to stop.
Don’t be preaching about our need for justice in government or in society while you are molesting or raping women, men and even children. Time’s up! There is no greater injustice than coming to the house of God for shelter and healing and having the person or persons you trust the most violate you in some way. No more!
Many of you on boards are receiving even in these days information about ministers and Christian leaders and you have to be courageous and do the right thing. You are accountable before God. I just heard of a board of a well-known TV minister who had 12 different ladies bring accusations of improprieties and the board sided with the minister. Are you kidding me?! Body of Christ you need to wake up and lose your tolerance for this evil culture.
You are not “touching the Lord’s anointed” when he or she is involved in gross sexual misconduct. To all the hundreds I can’t personally respond to. I am so sorry at what you have gone through. It IS a great injustice. God help us at this time to raise the standard!
“Don’t touch the Lord’s anointed” is not about keeping predators in the pulpit!! It is from 1 Samuel 26, where David used the term to explain why he was not going to KILL Saul despite the fact he was set up to do so. David did take Saul’s spear, (while he slept) he took his jug of water and when at a safe distance cried out with a loud voice to “the people”, to Saul’s leadership and Saul himself (1Sam 26:14). It led to Saul saying “I have sinned”, “I have played the fool” (v.21).
See that “Don’t touch the Lord’s anointed” is not about burying sin. It is not about keeping your mouth shut. It is not about passively letting more and more victims continue to pile up. It is only about not PHYSICALLY KILLING someone legitimately anointed by God. (Even “being anointed” is debatable among many of the pulpit predators).
The culture of protecting wolves while watching multitudes harmed must cease now. Yes, don’t falsely accuse. Yes, don’t just go with hearsay. Yes, this is not about your lesser disputes with church leadership such as did they make a place for you or did they hurt your feelings on some lesser matter.
For clarity, if you know that shepherds in God’s house are sexually preying upon church members, or even prostitutes, or even porn stars, DON’T BE SILENT ANYMORE!! See something, say something! Do the Mt. 18 confrontation process of going with a witness or two to the sinning source (what David did essentially) but if all Biblical processes don’t work then take it to the Body (cry aloud) in every way possible. Name names!
I will tell you by knowledge (as opposed to just prophetically) that the big money and fame levels of the Christian Church are riddled with sexual sin and perversion. I am talking about “worship leaders” and Christian musicians of renown. I am talking about TV ministers and personalities. I am talking about megachurch pastors. Yes, it exists at all levels of size and fame in the church– but it is pandemic in the upper echelons. That all changes now. God is pulling the covers off. Exposure is already in motion but believe me it is going to intensify.
We the people have a choice to agree with what God is doing or to be reduced to control tactics such as “don’t touch the Lord’s anointed”. We ALL need to embrace His refiner’s fire but a key way we embrace it personally is to have nothing to do with this level of compromised leadership.
Soon enough many of you will find this a very real choice in front of you. Do not become a persecutor and prosecutor of the victims because they have exposed your idol. Love and embrace hard truth. A great wounded harvest is ready to sweep into the Church, but God is not going to just sit back and watch His “little ones” get re-victimized in the Church.
Remember this is not about “doctrinal purity”, not about “worship styles”, not about how long or loud praise goes on in church. This is not about fixing all church matters– but it is about evicting sexual predators in the pulpit and on stage. A lot of witchcraft will be evicted with that as well. A lot of deep state connections will be evicted with this. Yes, the best is yet to come– but it is going to be built on a cleaner foundation.
For the good pastors and leaders, thank you for your love and faithfulness and so sorry for how the predators make even your assignment more difficult. Meanwhile the Father is releasing a refiner’s fire so that His House may be safe for the incoming prodigals.
