Recently I had a day where I was really discouraged about the world events and was thinking about my kids and wondering what kind of future they had when the Lord asked me, “Nate, what future do you see?”
And so for a moment, I stepped into the spirit and I felt an excitement and expectancy hit me. I saw the battle in the natural but then I saw the glory of God rolling in like a flood. I saw the grim agenda of the enemy and then I saw the wind of the spirit blowing in and tearing away the enemy’s hidden plots, lies, and plans. I saw the sleeping Church and then I saw her rise up as a victorious awoken army. I saw newspapers flash before me of propaganda and fear filled lies but then I read the blueprints of heaven that read “The kingdom of heaven is here!”
People ask me all the time what preparation measures they should be taking, what they should be investing in, should they buy land, empty their bank accounts, etc… and while we don’t ignore the plans of the enemy and God wants us to have insight and wisdom to move forward and prepare for what the enemy’s puppets are trying to plan, I’m reminded of this… heaven hasn’t even shown a pinky move yet, let alone a fist, let alone the full power of heaven. God has been holding back and giving the evil of this world time to think it can roam around the schoolyard wreaking havoc without repercussions, but there is justice in the air.
The clouds are getting dark on the horizon and rain is coming. God is about to unleash the fury of Psalms 2 where the Godless have said, “We are God and we can do what we like!” but they don’t see the counter move in the distance. They don’t see the Church awakening, the veils of deception being removed, and the hand of God hovering.
We truly have not seen anything yet.. so don’t go planning for a future that the enemy has prescribed you. Be salt and light and choose to be those that prophesy the future and write it. Shift the story over your own home and life today. We write the story not the enemy.
Fear loses. Jesus wins. He gets the glory.
“I am convinced that any suffering we endure is less than nothing compared to the magnitude of glory that is about to be unveiled within us” (Romans 8:18)
