I’ve now heard from at least three different people in the last week (two of them being prophets) that these next “ten years” are going to be critical. Two years ago, the Lord told me to get ready for the next “ten years” (a reference to a time period, not exact years). I knew what He meant. It was not some dire warning of coming trouble. It was quite the opposite. He said, “The next ‘ten years’ are going to be a major overhaul and transformation of ‘church’ as we have known it.” Our entire culture is about to shift. We are entering a rebirthing and rebuilding time, setting new foundations in place for years to come.
This is but one reason why I know we’re not leaving any time soon. We have been strategically placed and prepared for THIS time of awakening and transformation. As hard as it is going through this death-to-life phase, I can only imagine the holy jealousy of the cloud of witnesses who are seeing this from heaven. Many of them saw this in the spirit while they were alive and continue to watch from their heavenly vantage point (Hebrews 12:1). I believe they are cheering us on from the rafters and continuing to press in for the completion of our mutual assignment.
The Holy Spirit has been increasing our capacity to discern His presence and think like He does. Why? To partner with Him in the day of His outpouring.
This isn’t just about settling an election, defeating a cabal, or cleaning up corruption. We get to be a part of changing history. We get to see, with our own eyes, a supernatural transformation of the Spirit occur on the earth that will be spoken of for generations to come. Don’t let the enemy rob you of this privilege by giving in to frustration, doubt, or cynicism. Now is the time to embrace this upgrade and press in for those greater things.
History makers aren’t swayed by popular opinion or temporary setbacks. They are born and bred to defy the odds and forge new paths. Fueled by a fire that can only come from the Spirit, they are willing to be different and misunderstood, for they are fixed on a prize that few others can see.
Be one of those. Be who you were born to be. The gallery is watching for who will take their place.
