The doors just in front of me were in heaven. Stupefied, I gazed at their ancient appearance and extreme height. My intense scrutiny of them was interrupted by their gradual opening, someone opened them for me.
Soon, a small sliver in the opening revealed a table. Peaked with curiosity and unsure of what I was seeing, I stood motionless while the doors continued to give way to an elaborate banquet table. My eyes were riveted on the exquisite beauty of the place settings before me, like those of a royal dinner. Fine china, magnificent goblets, ornamental silverware, and even small name tents on the plates adorned the table. Attempting to estimate the amount of place settings was futile, as the length of the table was indescribable. It was elaborate, laden with innumerable delicacies.
Churning thoughts left me unable to grasp the meaning of what was before me, then I noticed Him. At a distance from where I stood, I beheld Him, The King of Glory. He sat at the head of the table. His regalia was that of a King. His poise was that of a King. He sat in peace. At that moment, all my questions vanished. My spirit knew He was awaiting His Bridal Company for the wedding feast. End of vision.
(Revelation 19:9) And he saith unto me, write, blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, these are the true sayings of God.
(2 Peter 3:9) “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance”
(Luke 14:23) ‘Go out to the roads and country lanes and make them come in, so that my house will be full.’
(2 Peter 3:11-12)… “You ought to live holy and godly lives as you look forward to the day of God and speed its coming. That day will bring about the destruction of the heavens by fire, and the elements will melt in the heat.”
(John 15:18-21) …”As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you. Remember the words I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also. They will treat you this way because of my name, for they do not know the One who sent me.”
