The Spirit of Elijah is Coming Upon a Company of Believers

elijah_fire

Approximately a month and a half ago, I dreamed I was in a room with several other people. We were all sitting around a large conference room table.

It reminded me of a scene in a movie where they call a company meeting and the associates report to the conference room to get updates on the affairs of the company and to receive new assignments. Assignments were being given out to different people.

One young man was chosen to be a minister of the Word. I remember thinking what an honor and blessing to be chosen at this late hour. I congratulated him, but even as I spoke to him, the Spirit of the Lord came upon me and I spoke the following word.

“God is about to move. He is choosing ordinary people and they are going to go forth in the power of his spirit. He is going to do a mighty work through them.”

My dream ended after this, but God hasn’t stopped dealing with me concerning this dream. I have had many dreams over the years concerning a great move of God coming. Also, there have been times the Spirit of the Lord would speak through me prophetically concerning a people He is raising up. Lately, I have noticed even as I’m writing comments on certain posts the Spirit moves on me to write concerning this move of God. As I sought the Lord concerning this, He impressed the following upon my heart:

“Did I not say in my Word that Elijah must come first? Truly he stands at the door. As surely as John the Baptist came in the spirit and power of Elijah to prepare My way, so likewise I have a company of believers of My choosing who will prepare the way for My second coming. I will begin to move upon them soon and they will be clothed in the spirit and power of Elijah.

Just as John the Baptist was in the deserts until the day of his showing unto Israel, so I have kept these I have chose until the time of their showing. I tell you of a truth, that time is near, even at the door. It will seem as if they came out of nowhere. They will walk in a boldness not seen before by this generation. They will preach repentance and the day of vengeance of our God. They will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children and the hearts of the children to the fathers. They will turn the disobedient to the wisdom of the just to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

Did I not say Elijah would come first and restore all things. Surely they will oppose the false systems and the lying prophets who have run to speak and I have not sent them. They will oppose religious leaders that don’t favor My righteous cause. A fire will issue forth from them and it will consume the works of darkness. Kings will bow to them.

Many will be amazed at those I have chosen, for you see I’m choosing the ordinary. I’m choosing those that have not sought to make names for themselves. For you see My strength and power is perfected in their weaknesses. Through them I will restore the years that the locust have eaten and My people will eat in plenty and be satisfied.

Their rallying cry will be, ‘Jesus is coming soon. The great day of the Lord is upon us. Prepare your hearts, repent and come out from among them and be a separate people.’

Be holy for I am holy and I will come and receive you unto myself.”

Since then, I have received numerous confirmations, including the one I have posted below by Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj. I was studying about the one-world religion and the man of sin and I came across this prophecy concerning the spirit of Elijah. While I am not familiar enough with him to endorse all he says, this prophecy bore witness with my spirit and confirmed what I believe God has been showing me for years concerning this move of God.

The following text was transcribed from the video below, which records a prophetic word from Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj. The prophecy begins at the 44:58 mark and continues until 53:30.

“The spirit of Elijah will be released to bring division in the church. The Lord Jesus Himself said when he was here, “I came not to bring peace, but to bring a division.” (Luke 12:51)

In the same manner, the spirit of Elijah will come to bring division in the church. What kind of division? Division to separate the sheep from the goats, to separate the wheat from the tares, to sift the wise virgins from the foolish virgins, and to sift the true believers who have made themselves ready as the bride from the apostate believers.

The spirit of Elijah will come upon the last-days prophetic company so that they will rebuke the wickedness in the church today. And they will call the church to accountability.

If you read 1 Kings 18, that’s exactly what the prophet Elijah did during his days. He rebuked King Ahab and Israel for their wickedness to worship idols.

The prophet John the Baptist himself rebuked King Herod and his wife, Herodias, for their wicked living style. In the same way, the spirit of Elijah will come upon the last days prophetic remnant company and they will rebuke the wickedness in the church and call her to account.

And finally, the spirit of Elijah will come upon the last-days prophetic company to make them bold against fear.

My dearly beloved brothers and sisters, know one thing. Where the previous generation failed, where our forefathers have failed, where the Biblical heroes of faith failed, the last days prophetic company shall overcome and be triumphant.

For example, if you read 1 Kings 19:1-3, after the prophet Elijah had killed 850 false prophets, King Ahab reported this matter to his dear wife, Jezebel. Jezebel was so mad because she was trying to make Israel a haven for demons. That is why she appointed 850 false prophets who would set up temples of demon worship all over the country.

1 Now Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and how he had killed all the prophets with the sword.
2 Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, “So may the gods do to me and even more, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time.”
3 And he was afraid and arose and ran for his life and came to Beersheba, which belongs to Judah, and left his servant there. (1 Kings 19:1-3)

Elijah had slaughtered every one of them and all the high places and the altars were brought down. She was extremely mad and she issued a challenge, ‘This same time tomorrow, I will have your head just as you killed and beheaded my false prophets.’

Now look what happens next. This great man of faith and power, this great bold prophet, as soon as he heard those words, he became so fearful and he ran away for his dear life. He failed. He failed because instead of being bold, he allowed fear to dominate him. But where he failed, the spirit of Elijah will now come upon the last days prophetic company and they will become bold against fear.

I see a mighty sword standing before me right now. It is as tall as about 6 1/2 feet and the blade is very thick at the base and then it gets smaller at the top. And its’ base is very pointed like a triangle. The spirit of the Lord is signifying to me saying, ‘Look at the sword. The blade is very thick. The handle is thick and round and golden and it is very weighty.  That is how this last-days prophetic generation will become. They are upright before God. They will be strong and bold inside them and they will be used by God as a sword.'”

Friends, I have a dilemma. As I recently graduated from university, it is basically everyone’s expectation that I start looking for a permanent job to make full use of my degree. However, I feel the burden as I know that the end times are very near, and I believe I should be seeking God with all my heart. My parents, even though they are Christian, do not seem to believe the end times are imminent at all and obviously want me to focus on job finding. I understand they invested a lot into my education, but at the same time I can’t get by the nagging in my heart, because I don’t even know if I should be looking for a permanent job at a time like this. During Christmas service the pastor at my church said that most of us will likely be alive to see the return of Jesus. After church service, there was a discussion in the family at lunch and without going into detail, my dad basically said the pastor “probably doesn’t know what he’s talking about, what does he know.” I pointed out that Ezekiel 38 is very likely to be fulfilled soon, but to no avail because my dad said that the people who made this kind of interpretation are “anti-Russian, how do you think Russian Christians would feel if they are Magog?” Now I’m not 100% sure that Magog is Russia but I suggested that the war in Syria is bringing prophecy to life. I have had a couple of end time dreams before, but I did not mention it to family because I did not know whether it was the right time to reveal it. In fact, one of the dreams had to do with betrayal by people who were close to… Read more »

Hi Ben, so glad you asked. Most young folks have the same dilemma, or they should. Weather it is the end time or not, the main thing is that we do God’s will. Maybe God’s purpose for you includes using your degree. God has faithful believers serving Him in every area. We can think of many good and even great things we could do to serve God, but it will all be waste if it is not in His will for us. It will all be burned up (1Cor. 3:15…). You are doing well in seeking His face. Just keep on building up your relationship with Him. Pray in tongues as much as possible. By doing this you will be prophesying your own future and making a way in the spirit. Check out James Bailey’s own testimony on this site. He explains in detail what it takes. You must learn to hear God in detail. This will take dedication, and seek good advice, but hearing tends to be a personal thing, there is no one right way. If you ask ten prophets, you will get ten different answers. A good teacher would be Pastor Mark Virkler who has written courses in this and has some seminars you could check out on You Tube. Many people think they will lose out on the good things in life if they only did God’s will, but the opposite is true. God has already put His blessings in place for you, but you will miss them unless you are on the right path. One of His blessings is your spouse. He already has the exact right person for you. You don’t even need to be concerned about it, all you must do is seek Him with all your might. That is most of the… Read more »

Yes thank you both so much. When Ben first posted today my heart went out to him. I wasn’t sure what to say. All I could think of for a while was I wish I had someone’s email that regularly post on here and I would consult them to see what they would recommend. Thank you Peggy. You came to mind. Thank you for your wisdom and encouragement and thank you Jerome for your Godly input from a guys perspective. He needed that.

Thanks. I’ll definitely keep what you said in mind. Unfortunately, I have never actually prayed in tongues, nor do I know how to interpret it. How do I pray in tongues?

Ben, Paul wrote that he spoke in tongues more than ye all and warned, forbid them not for speaking in tongues. Verbally speak out syllables from your mouth even if it seems foolish and the Holy Spirit will turn it into a heavenly language. It’s a leap of faith but results in perfect prayer as the Holy Spirit gives utterance. Praying in tongues is different from the gift of tongues, 1 Cor. C.12 & 14, which is a prophetic message that needs to be interpreted by you or someone else and is comparable to the gift of prophesy.

Ben, To pray in tongues, you will have to be baptized in the Holy Spirit! You receive the Holy Spirit when you receive Jesus in your heart (receive salvation), but the baptism of the Holy Spirit is usually a separate event that empowers the Holy Spirit within you and enables you to pray in tongues. Luke 11:13 says, …your heavenly Father (will) give the Holy Spirit to those who ask Him.
You can pray and ask the Father to give you the Holy Spirit yourself! But, I suggest you “pray in agreement” with someone who already prays in tongues… If you don’t know who to pray in agreement with, you can call the AWM Phone Center @ (719) 635-1111 M-F and ask for a prayer minister to pray in agreement with you for the baptism of the Holy Spirit to pray in tongues. They will pray with you and help you start praying in the spirit in tongues… and also send you a free book about it!
I also wholeheartedly agree with Anne that you should get the book “The Walk of the Spirit – The Walk of Power” by Dave Roberson! You can go to the following Dave Roberson Ministries website to download a free copy of the book!

Ben, you may get additional suggestions, but I am presently reading a book, “The Walk of the Spirit, The Walk of Power” by Dave Roberson. It’s changing my life. It was recommended here on Z3 in one or two posts recently. Has to do with praying in tongues a great deal, and there is an appendix on how to receive the ability to do so. I hope you will check it out. Anne

Ben,
You can search “Walk in the Spirit, Walk in Power” by Dave Roberson.
It is a free e-book on the Roberson site. It may also be still available as an out-of-print hard copy on amazon.com It is an EXCELLENT, inspiring, informative book.

Hi, Peggy! I still get new paper back copies of the book from the Dave Roberson Ministries by calling the ministry! At a more reasonable price than old copies are sold for elsewhere… They’ll just ask you to pay the shipping cost, but I give them an additional donation to more than cover the cost of the book! It’s worth it! I had to wait a few weeks the last time I ordered a book… until another shipment was received from their publisher!

All the answers posted are excellent Ben. As Don said, the first step is receiving the Baptism. You already have the HS, (as in Jn.20:22), but then there is the “infilling of the Spirit” as in Acts 2. By my experience, you will receive this infilling only according to how well you have prepared yourself. It is all about how much we yield ourself to God. In salvation we come as we are, but here we need to ask the Lord to show us all our darkness so that we may confess it and have a clean temple for His Spirit. Desire the Holy Spirit with all of your heart. There must be nothing else that you desire but for Him to possess you totally. Fasting is recommended as a way to get the flesh out of the way and fix our mind on the Lord. Remember I said “all of your heart”. It is actually very difficult to believe with the whole heart. This is what constantly tripped up the apostles. They had ” hardness of heart” issues. Andrew Wommack wrote a book on this one subject and yet he said he had not fully conquered it himself. But the truth is, if you have faith with your whole heart, you can do or have anything you want. You want to receive all the power that God has for you.
Sometimes the prayer language comes automatically, but most times we need to get started gradually due to our unbelief and our western logical thinking. Again, Mark Virkler has an excellent video on this.
May God richly bless you
Jerry

Jerome, this comment (as well as Don’s and the other comments on the Holy Spirit) is an interesting one. As it happens, I actually have been thinking about this topic of the baptism of the Holy Spirit for several months now. I have been asking myself questions like, “If I really have the Holy Spirit, shouldn’t I be able to do the works that Jesus did on a consistent basis? for example, multiply fishes and healing where ever I go and so on.” Then, I look around at fellow believers and there is a realization that probably the vast, vast majority of them also do not seem to walk with this kind of power. I have actually began to question if I genuinely have the Holy Spirit. I have baptism of water before, but have I really have baptism of fire? I believe this is what you call the infilling of the Holy Spirit from my understanding. The closest thing to this I recall experiencing was when I decided to stop watching porn. Then, for a period of time there was a constant nagging heavy temptation to keep watching, but I resisted. I kept praying and dwelling in the word. Then one night while I was praying lying on my bed I felt quite hot on the upper body, then I felt a churning warmth (like twisting almost) in my stomach. The next morning when I woke up the heavy temptation was not there anymore, and the lust became easy to brush off. As you say, this is confronting the darkness and surrendering to God. But then, there are other weaknesses like fear of man, where one needs to physically/actively go out to evangelize unbelievers rather than “passively” read the bible and pray. I always remember this verse, “The kingdom… Read more »

Good observation Ben. Most Christians are poor examples! Jesus simply said in Mk 16:17,18-” These signs will follow them that BELIEVE ; In my name they shall cast out devils….they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. ” Its about our belief level. That, and knowing Jesus gives us the power or authority to do the same works as He did. A believer should be able to calm a storm or redirect a tornado by simply taking authority over it. There should never be Illness in the church of Christ. Most of us are a pretty sad bunch.
I would like to comment that what encouraged me to seek the baptism was reading the works of Smith Wigglesworth. He was a great pioneer in healing, but he learned little by little. He did not receive the babtism till the mid point of his ministry. He received the anointing as a young man, but after he got the baptism, his wife could not help but comment that she had a whole new Smith. And BTW, Wigglesworth kept on working as a plumber through much of his ministry. There is a great story on You Tube of how the late Lester Sumrall got to know him and got his anointing from him as a young preacher. Things would look totally different if we would all walk in our purpose. Many are called but few are chosen, very few.

Hi Jerome, insightful comment. However, it also brings up more questions for me. That verse “many are called, but few are chosen” have always stumped me. I know to enter the kingdom of heaven, one must be born again as Jesus said to Nicodemus (born of spirit). In your comment you relate being infilled with the Holy Spirit as being in the category of “chosen”. To clarify, this is not the same as being born again, right? Or is it?

I guess the 2nd related question is, if you are in the category of “called”, is one still saved? But I guess, even among the “called”, that is the majority of Christians, everyone is at different stages and many are even backsliding, or “lukewarm”. For example, I look at the persecuted underground church in China. The believers there in general have sacrifice more to the faith than most western churches but obviously not everyone there is on the level of power of Jesus or the apostles. But there’s no way they’re not saved, right?

I would like to thank everyone again for the comments and encouragement! I have learned a lot these past couple of days, and I encourage everyone to continue on the narrow way.

Yes Ben, to be saved is very easy. God has intentionally put the bar very low so that no one need despair and everyone may qualify. ( This is good to remember when one is witnessing). St. Peter even said that there be those who are “scarcely” saved, however we don’t want to fall into this category. However what God wants is much more. His goal is to make disciples. Remember, to become a disciple, you must be willing to leave it all behind and seek the kingdom first. This is the reason few are chosen, because due to worldly desires, they fail to qualify. Most Believers seek first the things of this world, rather than seek the “righteousness of God” (which means Christ Himself since He is the righteousness of God) Matthew 6:33. Few are willing to believe this verse and see if God will not provide what we need instead of the world. Actually in practice we may be directed to work a normal job sometimes. Andrew Wommack said in the beginning of his ministry he gave everything away and just tried to live by faith, but that was a big mistake. God told Steven Brooks to keep his job at Home Depot even while he actually had a Christian TV show running. People at the store would recognize him from the show. Use your concordance and look up everything about discipleship. You will see it is very demanding. Many think they are disciples but are not. Someone recommended you go through Andrew’s series on knowing a doing the will of God. I highly recommend it also. Andrew emphasized that to fulfill God’s will, you must first know it, or you will likely miss the target. Most miss out on God’s best and settle for second or third… Read more »

Your comments of the “persecuted underground church” brought this Blog Post to mind. LINDA CLAY asks an interesting question about the percentage of the total virgins.
It would appear that a low percentage would come from the pampered United States.

“Many are called, but few are chosen.”
I tend to interpret that as “the chosen” are the ones that chose God. My idea is that God knew from before the foundation of the world who would choose Him given personal custom made opportunities.

Scripture sometimes mentions “the elect,” but I think the key to understanding is that “the elect” is the list of those that chose HIM. He knew their names from the foundation of the world because of His fore-knowledge; His All-knowing nature.

It’s “few” because the Scriptures declare it to be so in the passage about the broad and narrow way.

Ben,
If you can spare about 3 hours of total time, here are some fine, easy to understand, interesting teachings on “The Baptism of the Holy Spirit,” Parts 1, 2, and 3. Make sure you click on the (approximately) 1 hour ones; some are short “trailers.”
These teachings address some of the things you’ve mentioned above, for example, “why isn’t the majority of the church on board with this?”

Dear Ben,

Follow God, brother! Follow God!

I am a B.A. degree holder, myself, and I still live at home with my mom and younger brother; working a $9.50/hr labor job in town. It don’t bother me a bit, as I’m working this job in order to prep for my family and pay off my student loans (while also completing a witnessing assignment for God).

God will give you much, much more in return for following Him and His will for your life.

As for the fear of man, take a moment to remember the Greatest Commandment that Jesus Christ stated in the Gospels: thou shalt love the Lord your God with all of your heart, soul, mind, and strength. It is also written that perfect love casts out all fear.

May the Lord bless and equip you for every good work which He has willed for you to do.

Ben,

I can certainly sympathize with your heart concerning the end times; It can be overwhelming sometimes with the information and the foreknowledge of what is to come…

Some encouragement for thought for you:

Jesus through Luke 19:13 tells us to “Occupy until I come” (KJV)

I would encourage to go ahead and seek employment; we know not what the Lord has in store for each of us and to whom it is we should be witnessing to. You may have divine appointments through your work career, job seeking, etc…

I myself have been caught sometimes being so heavenly minded that I am not doing any worldly good!! (Chuck Missler saying I believe if I recall)

When you read Matthew 24, even with all of the things that we are starting the see happen, it still says, the end is not yet….

I find it particularly brave of you to seek out what I am sure is a lot of people thinking the same as you have posted today. I would encourage to plead your post to the Lord with your heart; knock on some doors to see what areas of your life will open and those that will close!

Blessings to you brother,

Ben, Thank you for sharing with us. It does my heart good to hear of someone so young with such a passion for God. Truly God will lead you as you press into him. God alone knows his calling and plans for your life. I can share with you as a parent I understand their frustration. I invested into my own daughters education. She is so talented in so many different areas. She married a young man named Ben who is also multi talented and likewise had quite a bit invested in his education. I’ve seen many doors open for them both but they instead have chosen a path of youth ministry. Now God is doing amazing things through them but financially they could have done better if they had taken the other paths. They have taught me about trusting God and being in his will. When I first got saved I was so hungry for God and he showed me so many things in his word but I felt such a sense of urgency. I just knew Jesus was coming back any day. Well that has been well over 20 years. I believe with all my heart that Jesus is coming soon and we are the generation that will see the fulfillment of endtime events. I always thought from things God has showed me that there would come a day when I would leave my job and minister full time but he has taught me over the years my job is my ministry and he can use us where we are. In the healing ministry of being a nurse I have touched countless life’s including patients, families and coworkers. From what I believe he has showed me is he is moving and is going to move mightily in the… Read more »

Ben,
I was going to reply along the lines that Lydia has, prior to reading her message.
I agree that we should be about our Father’s Business. There’s nothing wrong with prayerfully going about the business of taking responsibility for seeking a job. The Scriptures do say that those that eat must work. I would say to seek Him through the Bible daily and prayer while going about the business of taking responsibility for looking for a job. Be led by the Holy Spirit. He will guide you with each step and most likely honor you and favor you because you are seeking to be responsible.

Don’t use living in the end times as an excuse to “drop out.”
(…just my ideas……take everything to the Lord for personal confirmation……)

With Prayers and Blessings Sent.

Ben, Jesus told us in the last days mother would be against daughter father against son brother would. Betray brother etc… Satan is the author of confusion. If you feel a deep conviction in your heart to worship and study and draw close to Jesus spending your time in communion with him. Obey it! This is part of the separation. And tbeir is no higher calling! I have every confidence in Gods provision for you. Lean not on your own understanding. But trust him in everything. You will be awed by his provision. He is walking behind you saying this is the way walk in it. I’m on a similar path. Remember the Levite’s the lord was their Inheritance. And they were provided for and had the best of the fathers provisions. That doesn’t mean your education was in vain. Even as we walk in this life. We look through the glass darkly. Ask Jesus how you can obey him and still honor your father. Maybe steal the term “gap year” lol.. Do what your righteous convictions show you and trust him to work it out. And remember in the times ahead. We will be considered outlaws and criminals. I think its easier to come out of the beast system now than it will be to come out of it later. Also ezekial 7:19 Says silver gold will be worthless and thrown out in the streets. I mean when everyone’s starving and afflicted money will be meaningless. Especially if we don’t take the mark. God bless you Ben!

Ben one more thing. I to have struggled with fear of man and finding a voice/boldness. Wondering if I’m doing enough… And flat out blowing it. With a sometimes political correctness. But I have also felt the righteous fire of the holy spirit come upon me and speak and I know my mouth or actions was his instrument. I’m learning too. I push my self when I am uncomfortable to rely on the comforter. I guess practice makes perfect. And when I feel like I’ve failed I thank Jesus and know I need more time alone with him. And realize that is what he is doing in our alone time. Strengthening me for his service when it counts.

Ben, I add my prayers to the words of Francy and passerby that as you seek Him, He will answer and as you ask Him, you will receive and knocking it shall be opened unto you. (That scripture the Lord shared with me years ago and today He has increased my faith to believe that ‘He will command the ravens to bring me meat’ as He did before in Old Testament if I have need!!) What Our Father has shown me to do and is leading me now is establishing His ‘place of refuge’ . A little background of me is in order here- through college I was headed to medical school having gotten to work with the famous Dr. Debakey, but my highest admiration for them was dashed as I saw the hollow emptiness behind the scenes. I drifted around through different work for the next several years until I went to working for my dad’s business, only to be called by God to leave my dad’s house and God lead me to what I’ve called the backside of the wilderness- where I still am now… What Father has revealed to me is that, like Paul said, All things which were gain to me I have counted as loss…yea, it is like dung(paraphrased)… He has shown me that a.) my family is not flesh and blood but by the Spirit and b.) the $, maybe at least as much as $1M is nothing (another story of what God did when I failed to heed His warning to me and lost a qtr. $M on 911 if anyone is interested I will share later). Long story short, you are called to follow God and pray for those of your (flesh) family that they will come to know Him and be… Read more »

Ben, I wholeheartedly agree with the advice Jerome has given you… I just want to add to what he has advised. Seek God to learn what His will or purpose for you is (Jeremiah 10:23 and Proverbs 3:5). Our relationship with God is our most important relationship! Praying in tongues is also as important as Jerome advises! You are 3 parts… spirit, soul, and body (1 Thess 5:23). In your “new” or “reborn” spirit… you are “one” spirit with the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 6:17); you have the mind of Christ (1 Cor 2:16); and you know ALL things (1 John 2:20 and Colossians 3:10)! So, how do you get what you know in your spirit (which is “one” with the Holy Spirit) into your soul (mind, will, emotions, etc)?
1) You pray in tongues as Jerome advises. When you pray in tongues, your spirit (and the Holy Spirit) is praying through you (1 Cor 14:14).
2) You ask for an interpretation (1 Cor 14:13)!
I like how Andrew Wommack teaches how to hear God. I don’t know if it is a coincidence, but Andrew Wommack is teaching on how to hear God this week! I strongly suggest you listen to his Thursday, 1/5 and Friday, 1/6 teachings…
http://www.awmi.net/tv/#/2017/week1/monday
Let these two scriptures also guide you in making decisions,
1) Let the peace of God rule (umpire) in your heart (Colossians 3:15)
2) God will give you (create in you) the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4)

Hello Ben-
I have had a similar experience and would like to encourage you despite the times to find something you can do to work for God. My friend and I reconciled our differences and I am now helping publish a Christian newspaper. Everyone will be doing different things in different places when these events manifest.

One thing that bears consideration is: That there are Christians out there that need help. Whether it be at your local mission or in Africa. If you have a heart for God, let him lead you to where he wants you and step forward. Don’t worry about what’s coming.

Great prayer points:
http://discernwith.us/a-call-to-intercessors-to-cooperate-with-the-holy-spirit-in-preventing-satans-intended-evil-in-un-security-council-resolution-2334
(for full article)
Pray for the demonic cloaking that is hiding Satan’s plans in the Obama Administration and the UN to be clearly exposed to the world and to us as intercessors so that these plans may be blocked.
Pray that the demonic powers that are working through their deceived human agents in the Obama Administration, in the United Nations, and in those nations who voted for this resolution will be bound in the name of Jesus. (The Lord may lead you to name specific leaders of specific nations.)
Pray that the links in the chain of events that Satan has put in place through this action of the UN will be broken, and that these plans will not be able to come to completion.
At the leading of the Holy Spirit and in the unity of the Faith with one or two others in whom Christ dwells, command that the Kingdom of Satan will be divided and that confusion will break out within the camps of all those in league with Satan’s plans.
Pray that all those who are drawing their swords against Israel and the people of God will war against one another.

Guild, what a perfect and beautiful prayer. I have been lost for words to pray lately because I hate this world and I long to see my savior and King. I have found in the past that God’s will is always better than mine. Thank you, this is now my daily prayer as well.

I’d like to share some insights I received while praying post reading this word. I encourage you all to pray about what I share below and correct me if the Lord shows you that I am in error. A few days before reading this word, I was meditating on the parable of the growing seed in Mark 4:26–29. What I believe I received from the Lord was this: As we pray in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Spirit will work to sanctify us and perfect us (even though we may not know the mechanics of this) until we are transformed into the likeness of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. And then the harvest will come, which the Lord said was the rapture. I have read many accounts of a coming glorious transformation of the bride of Christ, but I struggled to understand how then could we be persecuted as the scripture says we will be in the last days. I had prayed, pondered, and wondered about this: How could we walk in glory in the power and authority of the Holy Spirit doing even greater things than Jesus, and yet have to endure persecution? It seemed odd to think that we could be persecuted in our glorified bodies. I knew all of this had to add up, but I just couldn’t figure out how. Then today I saw this post, and again I began to wonder how. How could we have what Elijah had and yet be persecuted by the beast? All of a sudden I was reminded about the transfiguration, and I was given the following insight: Jesus walked this earth as a human being. As a human being, he walked in the power and authority of the Holy Spirit. But he was not invulnerable. He was tempted… Read more »

The Lord has been speaking to me about transformation for a little over a year now. And I had a similar question. How can we be transformed and still being used on the earth with things like signs, wonders, transrelocation, etc and still die at some point. Then the Lord brought to mind the Transfiguration. Jesus was transfigured, but then went on to die on the cross in His physical body. As the Lord continues to work on me about this, I am coming to think some will experience a physical transformation in this earthly body for the Lord’s purposes, but that this is not related to any Rapture or having our glorified bodies. This is still in process in my thinking with the Lord.

Thank you for sharing Grace and God bless you. It’s good to hear how God is working in the life of others to reveal his truth. Your line of thinking makes total sense to me. Are you thinking they will be transformed for his purposes and then transformed back so they can either experience death or be changed when the Lord comes?

Wow Sujit, Thank you for sharing this insight. I wish I had all the answers. I too have wondered about our transformation many times and I have often thought to myself we could possibly be transformed and shine with the glory of God being invincible to death while still walking the earth prior to his return. But I truly just don’t know and I certainly don’t think it is out of line to wonder about those things. I’m more inclined to be in agreement with what you concluded that those walking in the Spirit and Power of Elijah will not undergo immediate transformation but will remain in their earthy bodies like everyone else. I do believe that God will and can keep them alive until the work he has called them to do has been accomplished. I don’t know but it’s certainly highly probably that some or all of them would be martyed for their faith. When I was putting this together I was reminded of the way John the Baptist died. He was beheaded. Prophetic implication for how those will die in the beast kingdom for standing for truth? Something to think about. The 1965 prophecy you quoted, does “and shall fall by the wayside” mean they will apostatize or does it mean they will be martyred?
Blessings

Lydia,

Regarding your question about does “and shall fall by the wayside” mean they will apostatize or be martyred, I truly believe the bitter truth is that far too many will apostatize.

Thank you Lydia for sharing that encouraging word. I had a real life experience like you described in your dream not three days ago. A young man with a prophetic/apostolic mantle was speaking with me when I gave him a word from the Lord. Luke 1:17, “And He will go on before the Lord in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the parents to the children and the disobedient to the wisdom of the righteous – to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.”

I believe this is our destiny. Not only to walk in the spirit of Elijah but to call the next generation to walk in it as well.

this movement of Spirit will rock the churches top to bottom among Christendom with Truth, for It will divide in truth by Holy Spirit a right judgement and swiftly so. Grace heavy -prosperity driven messaging in the church is idolotry and perverse to the Gospel commissioned to be carried out, – it is like the Wormwood of the prophets of old who were apprehensive to include God Righteous standards and judgments, it tasted good but its end was bitter and lasting. These men added drunkenss to thirst, always seeking to establish a standard of their own and not Yahweh’s so as to appeace the hearer. These days are coming to a screeching halt and Godspeed in this regard. I for my part hate the liberal indoctrination of our churches, the inability to speak words that are hard to hear – there will come a time these houses of powerless worship will be turned upside down and inside out with the Sword of Truth, that shall cut and restore, divide and gather. I am certain and have always have been that my purpose will be made bith fully manifest and compete in a time like this today. Among the heartache and weeping shall be a beautiful harvest by Gods Spirit to reach those designated and drawn towards the light via the narrow road. Marantha Lydia – awesome message

Don’t want to detract from your wonderful message. I found wormwood growing in my vineyard. (How’s that for a book title – “Wine and Wormwood”). I made tea from it. It’s gaggingly bitter from the first sip – no way does it start out sweet. BTW, wormwood tea kills intestinal worms.

I’m curious to know if this is talking of Jewish believers in Messiah who will receive this or the common stock of Gentiles Spirit filled believers? In either case, if one dare think that he or she “wants” to be a candidate for such thing and hope that God endows them with this, the first place they ought to go is flat on their stomachs and faces. Going low in this circumstance is to go low humbly in spirit and wait for His Touch

Hey Brother Steven, from what I believe the Lord has showed me is that this company will be composed of members of the church of Jesus Christ where there is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for we are all one in Christ Jesus. In other words depending on the election and foreknowledge of God, they could be either Jewish believers in Messiah or Gentile believers.

Of course I agree with your reply……for the Scripture you used from Galatians 3:28 and Colossians 3:11 is how God sees us in Spiritual context, but my curiosity came in light of the reference to Elijah being O.T. and in respect to the 144K being of the 12 tribes. But yes, I fully embrace the born again ones from either stock being used as He sees fit: God bless you and thanks for your answer.

I am inclined to believe that, as a prophetic and powerful work of the Spirit, it would effect any whom He choses for His good will and purpose, and would defy perhaps what we define as differences between the two. The common thread for these Elijah’s will be boldness and realtionship ( I would gather)

Diana,
He is truly faithful. So many times I have wondered is this really God speaking and I would pray and I just couldn’t put it all together. He would show me things and I would think oh that’s gonna happen soon and when it didn’t I was like I don’t understand maybe I’m imagining things. And it’s just like everything is converging. We are here, we are about to witness some amazing things. I’m so amazed and thankful that God has chosen me to live during this time in history. Thank you for your words of encouragement.

When I was listening to my pastor speaking toward the end of the Christmas service I had an image of a flaming sword. I thought it might be like the sword the cherubim had when Adam and Eve were expelled from the garden of Eden. I imagined the sword was huge and swung back and forth through the congregation. I believe Jesus desires this type of boldness in all of us. I pray that I won’t be a fickering spark but rather a fireball for the Lord. Thank you for sharing. God bless!
