This morning, I had a beautiful vision of a heavy cloud cover being parted so that the opening was in the shape of a cross. The Sun was shining from the center of the cross on the Lord’s people. The light of the Son was extremely bright and powerful.
Then I heard a voice from Heaven saying, “Put your hope in the cross of Christ.” I received this as a call for the body of Christ to return to a Cross-centered and Christ-centered ministry. No more socially acceptable feel good sermons. It is time to get serious about the blood of Jesus because harvest time is upon us.
Then I heard a voice saying, “Hope alone is not enough.” The Holy Spirit led me to Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” We need some substance behind our beliefs and our outreach to the lost.
The Lord began to speak to me about the darkness which has covered so many of His people in this season. He feels your pain in times of loss, grief, fear and persecution. These things should not be bringing the saints down. We need to let Him transform them into opportunities for victories, testimonies and encouragement. The Lord has decreed help for all who turn to Him in faith. I pray that you will receive it all today!
People who have been praying in “hope” are being called to pray in faith. Then the Spirit led me to James 1:6-8, “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” Doubt filled prayers will not move the Lord.
This is the season to build up your faith so the Lord can release powerful things through you. I was again led to the Word of God by the Holy Spirit. “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” (Jude 1:20-21) How do we do that? I’m glad you asked. Remember Paul’s powerful teaching in Romans 17:10, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
It is time to immerse ourselves in the Word of God (reading it aloud) so that our faith can be built up to the point where we will see signs, wonders, healings and miracles manifesting as we lift faith filled prayers to the Lord.
