This is the season to build up your faith so the Lord can release powerful things through you.

This morning, I had a beautiful vision of a heavy cloud cover being parted so that the opening was in the shape of a cross. The Sun was shining from the center of the cross on the Lord’s people. The light of the Son was extremely bright and powerful.

Then I heard a voice from Heaven saying, “Put your hope in the cross of Christ.” I received this as a call for the body of Christ to return to a Cross-centered and Christ-centered ministry. No more socially acceptable feel good sermons. It is time to get serious about the blood of Jesus because harvest time is upon us.

Then I heard a voice saying, “Hope alone is not enough.” The Holy Spirit led me to Hebrews 11:1, “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” We need some substance behind our beliefs and our outreach to the lost.

The Lord began to speak to me about the darkness which has covered so many of His people in this season. He feels your pain in times of loss, grief, fear and persecution. These things should not be bringing the saints down. We need to let Him transform them into opportunities for victories, testimonies and encouragement. The Lord has decreed help for all who turn to Him in faith. I pray that you will receive it all today!

People who have been praying in “hope” are being called to pray in faith. Then the Spirit led me to James 1:6-8, “But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” Doubt filled prayers will not move the Lord.

This is the season to build up your faith so the Lord can release powerful things through you. I was again led to the Word of God by the Holy Spirit. “But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.” (Jude 1:20-21) How do we do that? I’m glad you asked. Remember Paul’s powerful teaching in Romans 17:10, “So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”

It is time to immerse ourselves in the Word of God (reading it aloud) so that our faith can be built up to the point where we will see signs, wonders, healings and miracles manifesting as we lift faith filled prayers to the Lord.

Thank you for these basic, but powerful teachings. ” They CONTINUED IN THE APOSTLES DOCTRINE, and in prayer and breaking of bread together…” Also since discovering this website, there is a real renewal happening in me and I have had some dreams from the Lord, and I am waiting for interpretation about them. Please pray for correct understanding to come forth to me about these dreams. Also, I live with my 85 year -old Dad and I don’t have many chances to be in contact with anyone because I really have to watch my dad and help him. I live about 16 miles East of Ada, Oklahoma, near the E edge of Pontotoc County. I don’t have many tools communication, just this cell phone, and no computer. If you know of anyone in this area who appreciates this website, I would greatly appreciate meeting with them sometime in the Ada Public Library, when my Dad and I go to Ada for groceries. Maybe they can help me better understand how to use this smartphone, but especially this website. My. e-mail is instructionreader@gmail.com. Thank you very much!

What a confirmation! I received a newsletter from Sid Roth on May 1 concerning praying in tongues…praying in the Spirit creates the perfect prayer. Which is a spiritual weapon that Satan cannot distort…like he can when we pray in English or other native language. No more prayers of hope! Thank you Pastor Durham!
