I had this dream in late 2007. I call it the Red Dragon dream.
I was looking down on a world map laid flat with the focus on America. I saw a drop of water that began to run over the cities and states of the United States on the map. As it moved, the drop magnified the names of the cities and states it went over. Then the drop of water turned red and became blood. Then it became a red dragon.
Interpretation:
The drop of water that turned to blood reveals a time coming when there will be great anguish and bloodshed across our land. The attack did not come from the outside, but from the inside. The drop of water became a dragon because it is the dragon causing division and harm in our cities and states. As the drop of water runs over our cities and states our cities and states will be run over by the red dragon. There is a word play here, too, in run over to over run.
Jesus warned us about a time when even members of our own household would become our enemies. Our families are under attack. Our churches are hemorrhaging from the wounds of hirelings and heresies.
The idea of the water on the map brings to mind the deluge. As in the days of Noe’s flood, so shall it be at the coming of the Son of man. Evil and wickedness abound now. In fact, we are inundated with wave after wave of it. We have only to consider the martyrs and the deaths of the innocent, and all that is in between, to realize that The Second Coming must be very soon.
What can we do? Prayer is available to all of us. If there be any that haven’t talked to Jesus lately, repent and pray. If there be any that haven’t made a decision, make it today and repent and pray. Choose life that it may be well you and your family.
For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. (Isaiah 14:13,14)
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. (Jude 1:4)
For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household. (Matthew 10:35)
Then said he unto the disciples, it is impossible but the offenses will come: but woe unto him, through whom they come! It were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he cast into the sea, than that he should offend one of these little ones. (Luke 17:1-2)
But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. (Matthew 24:37)
Jesus wept. (John 11:35)
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and all your soul, and with all your mind. (Deuteronomy 6:5)
Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near. (Isaiah 55:6)
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. (Psalm 51:17)
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocated with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. (1 John 2:1)
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked way; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them that despitefully use you, and persecute you. (Matthew 5:44)
I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessingand cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live. (Deuteronomy 30:19)

Thank you weather. I think that you are on to something about civil unrest, even to the point of civil war. In any case we can expect a great shaking and trembling as these things must needs be, but woe to them by which it comes. I had an opportunity to do a prayer trek to the Mason Dixon line a few years ago. I went there by prayer, and I did pray about what was to come. I already knew what it was. That there would come a time that division of every sort would be in the land, that the issues of civil war would once again be revisited. As for China and Russia, I don’t know, but would think that right about now that the same divisions are manifesting. The thing that I know about this country is that this coming civil war will have far more factions and fractions induced to break fellowship with other believers, regardless of skin, or language. It will look different than the last which is called the bloodiest war ever fought, brother against brother, kin against kin. About 15 years ago I had an opportunity to visit Gettysburg and some of the other sites of the civil war. One battle field was in a wheat field. In the middle was a tower for a look out. I climbed that tower and had the most lonely and eery feeling as I look out and heard nothing but the wind in the wheat. At that same location was a church that was called the Dunkin church. It was a place that both sides of the battle would come to church and often get baptized, so called getting dunked, from whence the name came.
There may be another or double interpretation to this dream, of great civil unrest and blood she’d and then, as many other proven prophecies state, in would come China and russia….China could represent the red dragon
Wow, great point!
Amen, may we ALL daily seek the LORD and obey ALL that He commands us to do.
