The Political Pope is Now Arising

In 1973, David Wilkerson received a vision of the role of the Pope in the end-times, which he shared in his book, “The Vision“. Today, his vision is beginning to be fulfilled. David Wilkerson was the founder and Pastor of Times Square Church in New York City.

In his vision, he saw the Pope becoming more of a political leader, leading to the formation of a worldwide false church consisting of liberal Protestants and Catholics. He saw the Protestants agreeing to follow him as their political leader, while openly disagreeing with his spiritual beliefs. The following is an excerpt from his book.

I see the rise of a super world church. I see the formation of a super world church council consisting of a union between liberal, ecumenical Protestants, and the Roman Catholic Church joining politically hand-in-hand to create one of the most powerful religious forces on earth. This union is going to start as a cooperative charity program and it will end in a political union. This visible super world church is going to be spiritual in name only, freely using the name of Jesus Christ, but will in fact be antichrist and political in many of its activities. This powerful church union will be deeply involved in social action, tremendous charity programs, and ministries of compassion. Its leaders will make statements about meeting human needs. They will send out a call for social action, political intervention, and a greater voice in world affairs.

There is going to be a sudden mysterious chain of events. Just when it appears the ecumenical movement is nearly dead, a rather mysterious chain of events will bring about the framework for this union. Rome is going to insist on and receive concessions from the Protestant ecumenical leaders. The Pope will be considered more of a political than a spiritual leader of this church union.

Protestant leaders of the ecumenical movement are going to insist upon and receive concessions from Rome. Protestants will not be asked to consider the Holy Father as the infallible head of the church. They accept his political leadership without accepting his role as Peter’s successor. (See the complete post)

As leader of this false super church, the Pope will publicly use the name of Jesus to help him achieve his political goals, but beneath his outward appearance, he and his church will be filled with the spirit of antichrist.

David Wilkerson received his vision 44 years ago, but today we are seeing it come to pass. In an interview yesterday with Greg Hunter’s USA Watchdog, author George Neumayr talked about his new book, “The Political Pope,” which reveals how Pope Francis is promoting his political goal of achieving a One World Government.

For example, Pope Francis urged President Trump to stay in the Paris Climate Accord. Neumayr said, “Pope Francis is more worried about saving the planet than saving souls.”

Neumayr backed up his claim saying, “If you read his encyclicals, there is a section on world government and how the United Nations should have the power to compel countries to adopt these climate change regulatory norms. There have been a number of Vatican officials that have endorsed the concept of world government.”

Neumayr said, “Pope Francis is promoting every religion except his own, and one of the religions he promotes the most is Islam. He has repeatedly called Islam the religion of peace even as its militant branches grow stronger. He’s made apologies for eruptions of Islamic terrorism. You wouldn’t expect a Catholic Pope to sound like a spokesman for CAIR.”

Another interesting point shared by Neumayr is his finding that the Pope is dividing the Catholic Church by rebuking the most devout Catholics, alienating them from the Church. He has a problem with them because they oppose his political views.

The complete 14-minute interview is shown here:

The political Pope is the worst kind of politician because he uses his position as a spiritual leader to deceive people into believing he is speaking for God, so it appears anyone who opposes him opposes God. He uses God for his own purposes, even speaking lies in the name of God, which is about as despicable as anything anyone could do.

An example is the comments he made while visiting Mexico in February 2016. He attacked Presidential candidate Donald Trump, accusing him of not being a Christian because he wanted to build a wall along the southern border of the United States. His statement is shown below and in the video below the excerpt.

“And then, a person who thinks only about building walls, wherever they may be, and not building bridges, is not a Christian. This is not in the gospel.”

Apparently, the Pope, the leader of the world’s largest religion, doesn’t know what’s in the Bible because if he did, he would know these words spoken by the Lord Jesus.

34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
36 And a man’s foes shall be they of his own household.
37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. (Matthew 10:34-37)

The Lord Jesus identified His purpose for coming was to divide people, even within their own family, which is the same as putting up walls, not building bridges. By the Pope’s definition, Jesus was not a Christian.

A Christian Pope would know better than to make such a foolish statement, but a political Pope says whatever helps achieve his political goals. We are living in a day when we must know the scriptures and know the Lord personally because we cannot trust our spiritual leaders to tell us the truth. Beware of the political Pope.

The Pope’s attack on Trump is captured in the following 6:44-minute video.

Oh wow James. Thank you for posting this. I’ve been studying about the pope and his role in the one world government. He is rising as a political leader who will eventually receive all the authority of the beast government. He will be the ultimate authority who causes all to worship the man of sin. He will promote him as God. I think I have always underestimated the role of the false prophet as the sidekick to the antichrist. I am beginning to see his role as very very significant in bringing to pass the antichrist government.

The Pope as political leader marks the start of the book of revelation.
We have a new crisis to broke anytime from autumn 2017 or dusring 2018. This time all human structures of western civilization will fall, mainly economics and politics, fulfilling the text in Hebrews 12: 25 See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? 26 At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, “Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens.”[e] 27 The words “once more” indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.
Is my understanding that the lack of faith in politics and the fall of materialism will make people search solutions in the spiritual world. Here the Pope rises and conquers the world as the rider in the white horse in revelation and as the first sign of the time of the end in Mathew 24: many will come in my name… don’t be deceived!
Time is at hand. Nobody knows how long is the time of the end, only God the father, it can be 20 or 200 years. It’s time to repent and be in intimacy with Jesús, trust and obey. It’s also the time of great harvest and joy ir our hope is in Heaven. Blessings.

I may be the only person on the planet, Elijah, that will heartily agree with you on the matter of “the Pope” being the rider on the white horse, but Oh boy, do I ever agree. The symbolism of the rider certainly suggests an influential leader (hence the crown), but his “bow” is not accompanied by any “arrows”, so he is in effect, a “paper tiger”. He speaks words of “peace”, but it is not peace that results, but increasing unrest. One could go on and on, and doubtless encounter an avalanche of criticism and scorn, but time will tell. Hindsight is always 20/20, yes? Everyone is a prophet “after the fact”… And I certainly agree with you on the continued shaking. My Mom always noted extreme events as ones that would make your teeth and bones rattle. I think I need all new crowns and restorations, and we haven’t even hit the difficult part yet. I’ve a friend who maintains a running dialog with the LORD (seriously, I’ve never seen anything even remotely close to my friend’s continuous conversations with the LORD) and He (the LORD) has told her repeatedly, literally non-stop, that both institutions and individuals will be shaken until nothing that once was remains. All in an attempt to get His own, as well as those NOT His own, to turn their eyes to Him, repent, and cling to Him with everything in them. We can ALL testify that the shaking continues. The conclusion from the continued shaking? His own, as well as those NOT, have not turned to Him. It’s the only conclusion we can make. To be sure, some have, but as for “the whole body” – well, I guess that it is up to each individual to make an honest evaluation. Does everyone remember… Read more »

Speaking as a Catholic (gasp!)…

Neumayr is absolutely correct, knowledgeable Catholics who actually pay attention to what Francis says/writes are horrified. There are plenty of rumors that many, many of the Cardinals and Bishops are appalled too, and some have even quietly met with Francis to remonstrate with him about various issues in private, apparently to no avail. Right now the Catholic Church is teetering on the edge of schism–and if you consider that there are a billion Catholics on earth today, that’s a very big deal.

Back in the 1800’s, the Virgin Mary appeared to two shepherd children in LaSalette, France, and among other things told them that “Rome will lose its faith and become the seat of the Antichrist.” (Don’t take my word for it, look it up.) It makes sense, if you think about it: if the devil wants a facade of legitimacy worldwide, what better strategy than to hide behind/within the Church of Rome?

Wondering if why the Pope said what he did about Trump is because of his “concordat” between the Vatican and Mexico? I admittedly have not verified this, but suspect it is the case. Think of all his subjects in Mexico, if the Vatican’s aim is to deceive and control the masses, any interruption of this, like people fleeing Mexico quickly before a wall is built could be motivation for his comments. Do people think it not strange that the Pope would meddle in American politics? This isnt about moral values or such, but geographical boundaries.

….Apparently after a “breach” between Mexico and the Vatican that has existed for many years, both sides have exchanged ambassadors at least. That is all I could find, no official concordat exists apparently, despite the fact Mexico is the second largest roman catholic country behind Brazil. I do believe David Wilkerson, he has been extremely accurate.

I knew who this Pope was when Pope Benedict (Radztberger) suddenly stepped down. Hasn’t been done for hundreds of years. Also the scene where the black birds attacked the white doves he released from his window.

And lightning struck the top of St. Peter’s! There’s a photo of it.

Um, last time I checked his name is Ratzinger.
As for the crows attacking the doves, this exact same scenario has played out numerous times in recent years, including to Francis. The doves are disoriented in St Peter’s Square and don’t know where to go; at the same time, the place is always full of crows, and so it’s only natural that they move in on the confused doves. The word is that the Vatican is no longer going to do this “symbolic release of doves” thing, for this very reason. This is local news to us, because we live in Rome.

I wasn’t sure of the spelling, hence the parenthesis.

I don’t know , but with his Jesuit background, I find the timing curious.

If anyone is wondering who Pope Francis really is, all you need to know is that he is a Jesuit. The first Jesuit pope. What is their agenda? Look up “Jesuit” on You Tube and you will find plenty that will amaze.

Historically the Jesuits have a history of being troublemakers. The name “Jesuit” is nowhere to be found in the bible. Reminds me in a way of the word “Nazirite”. Think it not strange that the word “Jesuit” seems to be a takeoff of the word “Jesus”, as if the only true followers of Jesus are Jesuits? The Jesuits are just another “order” of priests within the unbiblically based roman catholic priesthood. The reason their priesthood even exists is to supposedly minister sacramental “grace” through their sacraments. All unbiblical.

I always thought Pope Francis was too good to be true. Like Obama, he eventually showed his true colours.

I must respectfully ask for clarity on one issue, James. You said that by the Pope’s definition Jesus was not a Christian. Are you intimating then that Jesus is Christian? A Christian is a follower of Christ, so how then can Jesus be considered a Christian? Christian was a derogatory term believers were called during the time of the Acts. The Word of God doesn’t even call us Christians, but rather saints.

I am curious because I remember hearing this discussion among believers some time ago.
