I have seen three different things change this week because of a pushback from people.
1. Little boy was reunited with his mum in QLD he had been stuck in NSW with his grandparents for months due to lockdowns.
2. Truck drivers blockades – now they are no longer forced to have to have a mandatory j a b to go over the border. (NSW)
3. Playgrounds in Victoria reopened because of the public backlash.
There is something about resistance.
There is something about a unified front that moves and changed things.
Especially after all the mental health issues and suicides people need HOPE!! Without Jesus there is no hope in the world.
Come on Christians. Fight for the Church. Fight for God’s doors to never be closed again.
Let’s bombard our local MPs and push to see the Church deemed essential.
Submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee!!

In NZ, practising religion IS essential: Buddist temple was open every day during lockdown, the Sikh temple too, the same applies to Mosques. But churches? Don’t you dare! So obviously religion is already ESSENTIAL but we just need it to apply to all faiths… Shalom
Another encouragement from overseas; I’ve been corresponding with a pastor in Africa over the past two years. I’ve never been to visit him, although I would like to. From about mid-June to end of July, the country was in lockdown ‘because of devastating number of cases and deaths’. I looked it up and laughed. I told him our state here in the USA has 1/10th the population of his country, and we have at least 10 times the cases and deaths.
When the 6-week lockdown was completed, the president gave the state of the country address. The result was that mass transit could only operate at 50% capacity, and churches needed to remain closed another 60 days! This pastor’s church met to discuss the matter, and decided that they would obey the LORD rather than bow down to the directives of the devil. This church is outside the city in a village not too far away, but still, they are probably one of the few churches that are standing up for the King. I encouraged him and hoped that there would be others all over the world that would do the same.
