When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?”
“Sir,” the invalid replied, “I have no one to help me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I am trying to get in, someone else goes down ahead of me.”
Then Jesus said to him, “Get up! Pick up your mat and walk.” At once the man was cured; he picked up his mat and walked.
The day on which this took place was a Sabbath, and so the Jews said to the man who had been healed, “It is the Sabbath; the law forbids you to carry your mat.”
But he replied, “The man who made me well said to me, “Pick up your mat and walk.’”
So they asked him, “Who is this fellow who told you to pick it up and walk?” The man who was healed had no idea who it was, for Jesus had slipped away into the crowd that was there.
Later Jesus found him at the temple and said to him, “See, you are well again. Stop sinning or something worse may happen to you.” The man went away and told the Jews that it was Jesus who had made him well. (John 5:6-15)
Jesus was a lawbreaker. During the days he lived, only “priests” were legally allowed to heal anyone, or declare someone as “healed.”
So when Jesus began his public ministry and arrived on the scene, he started healing everyone in defiance of the “health laws” of the day. He also continually broke the laws on the “Sabbath,” when no one was supposed to work.
And as we see from the passage in John 5 above, he told others to break the law also.
Jesus knew that these laws were preventing people from being healed, and so he disregarded them.

I agree with the comment that in the cited examples there was no “law breaking” but rather tradition breaking.
However, we cant ignore the entirely different meaning of “law breaking” today with regards to germ mandates and what is seen in the cited examples where law breaking was conflated with tradition breaking. In the exact same way that the written torah is conflated with the oral torah by orthodox jews. When they say “torah” they dont mean just the written torah. They truly mean the oral torah/mishnah as well. There is literally no distinction in their eyes just as there was no distinction in the cited examples.
Bottom line and it is so clear from the examples
Righteousness and Justice MUST be the foundation. If the sabbath is used to justify the continuation of injustice or unrighteousness then that is not the sabbath God wants
Just as with fasting…if we fast but continue to abuse our workers, take advantage of the weak, etc then that is NOT THE FAST that God wants. The fast that God wants is to Break the Yoke of slavery! To free the captives, to use the food you are not eating during your fast for those that do not have food to eat
To let justice fall like rain. To let righteousness go forth like the morning.
All of the examples given show this in strong ways
There is no law that forbids anyone to heal a person. Jesus was simply not complying with the traditions of the pharisees. Don’t confuse people by using the word law. Jesus never broke the law.
Mark 3:4 KJV — And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
Why did they not answer? The answer is obvious. It is always lawful to save life, no matter which day it is.
Jesus was lawful, but did not obey the traditions. Please don’t lead people to believe he was a law breaker when he was a tradition breaker. He never sinned.
Yahweh, Lord of Hosts, foresaw what plagues would be released in the end times and secretly designed and inserted the cures in nature during creation.
Unfortunately, people I know have died for their refusal to take my heed when ill and trusted the medical establishment instead. Satan has especially targeted the intestines because of their mucosal inmunity. I was personally attacked by Satan with a deadly intestinal super-bacteria and two angels were sent to someone I knew to explain the above and give the instructions on how to kill the super-bacteria. I had purchased the cure at COSTCO two days earlier before receiving the instructions and the message on the inserted cures. The person replied that I had purchased the cure because I had begun to listen to the voice of those angels.
Stand in faith and become witness to what is going to happen.
Our victory is inevitable.

My process was way too complicated. After 50 days of eating the plant on an empty stomach and finally stopping all diarrhea and killing the super-bacteria, my whole body started swelling! I knew a detox was necessary but didn’t understand what was going on. So….I went to COSTO one evening to get something, SOMETHING! I looked at every product and just gave up. I would be just throwing wild punches blindfolded. On my way out I saw my former physician whom I had not seen in about 10 years. He was with his wife who is also a physician. They are both Seventh Day Adventists who practice natural medicine. I explained to them what had happened and his reply was that the plant had killed the super-bacteria and the swelling was caused by the combination of dead bacteria joined to the plant’s metabolites in my body. He prescribed three days of fresh pineapple for breakfast, whole papaya for lunch and apples for dinner. And that it would be enough since I was in shape and had gone tnrough several years of cleansing fasts under his supervision. Do you think this was a coincidence?
The story doesn’t end there. Later on I had to go through a process of opening up my intestines.

Do not self prescribe yourself. Go to a board certified MD who practices natural medicine or a licensed naturopathic professional.

I see no reason why you can not answer Madelyn’s question. I don’t think Jesus the great healer would want someone to hold back what could be a gift of natural healing. He gave us the plants to heal. I understand that sometimes we need help to use those healing things, but we should never hide them. I would NEVER hold back anything if I thought in the smallest way it could help someone else. If I thought they could have issues, I would just warn them of any issues that could arise and help offer suggestions.
In fact I SELF PRESCIBE MYSELF all the time. I have a loved one who went to a Naturopathic Doctor and they dished out pills about as fast as a normal doctor. Good thing they were not chemical pills. They did not really work and there was a lot of money lost.
I agree God does guide us in healing if we only choose to listen and pray. But, sometime the answer to prayer, might just be the remedy you are holding back from Madelyn.
