“You have heard My voice, it is a time of joy!”

This week, I had a dream where I saw the Word of God at a distance before me and I really had to focus hard to see what it said. As I looked closer and focused hard, I saw the words, “You have heard My voice, it is a time of joy!” and I woke up.

As I woke, I began to ask the Lord about this dream. Even though this is not an exact verse in Scripture, the Lord used this as a prophetic picture of what many have been walking through.

The Lord spoke to me that many in the body of Christ right now, because of various circumstances and things happening, can’t even see clearly anymore the promises that God has given them, but they feel further away than they ever have. There are things in the natural that have escalated and are screaming opposite to the promises God has given them and it’s hard to see them anymore. They feel so far out of reach.

In my dream, I had to lean in close and really focus and I felt the Holy Spirit whispering those words right now over those of you that feel His promises are out of reach. He is whispering, “LEAN IN AND REALLY FOCUS!!!”

It’s a time to really focus on Jesus and the Word of God. I feel the Lord wants to encourage many that this IS A TIME OF JOY! The Lord has not lied. He is faithful to fulfil that which He spoke and that this is the moment right now, this season, where you shall not only SEE joy, but EXPERIENCE great joy.

The Holy Spirit spoke to me that many will enter into and see the manifestation of Psalm 30:5:

I’ve learned that His anger lasts for a moment, but His loving favor lasts a lifetime! We may weep through the night, but at daybreak it will turn into shouts of ecstatic joy. (The Passion Translation)

Can I encourage you to be fierce and intentional in your focus right now? Push through the crowd. Push through everything trying to stop you from your promise. Focus! Focus on the Word of God and what the Lord has said.

The Lord wants to encourage many, you have heard His voice, this is a time of joy, expect to receive greater joy in living in the place of communion with Him, but also in the place of miracles, demonstrations of His mighty power and breakthrough.

“Then he broke through and transformed all my wailing into a whirling dance of ecstatic praise! He has torn the veil and lifted from me  the sad heaviness of mourning. He wrapped me in the glory garments of gladness. How could I be silent when it’s time to praise you? Now my heart sings out loud, bursting with joy— a bliss inside that keeps me singing, “I can never thank you enough!” (Psalm 30:11-12 – The Passion Translation)

The Lord gave me the word, “Lean into peace” in May. My family had been through a lot over a time period of 10 years, and for the last 3 it has been generally peaceful, even though very busy. I felt this word meant to not pay attention to all of the “crazy circumstances” you hear on the news, rather to keep peace in our home. I also felt it was for my family personally. Little did I know the difficult circumstances that were coming our way this summer. Like you said, it has been so chaotic that it’s hard to see / remember what God promised to begin with. Even still, the Lord has been reminding me to lean into His promises and peace even harder as our feet are being held to the fire. Thank you for sharing this, as it is yet another confirmation of God’s faithfulness to bring His Word to pass!
