More evidence to confirm that July 4th should be a day that all of us take extra caution, but particularly, those in the United States. In the midst of all these warnings and confirmations, I found this video. I had no idea of the pagan origins to July 4th.
Please watch the video in its entirety by Youtuber, Beyond Room 313, entitled “Fourth of July is Baal Ritual Worship – Pagan Patriotism Ancient Rites / Thomas Sheridan”.
Here are just a few points from this video:
America is a republic based upon the rites & rituals of Ancient, pagan Rome. Why we have Neo-classical architecture, George Washington & other founding fathers acting like ancient Roman emperors & governors, and giving their slaves names like Flavius & Cassius.
Need to understand mystical & magical relationships between human spiritual and magic traditions and fire and fire making.
The rubbing of two sticks together had a male & female component
The Celtic cross represents two sticks being rubbed together & at the center of it hangs “the light of the world”
In olden days, strangers had to pass between two flames as a “spiritual cleansing” before the person could enter the community.
Fire spirits were either considered good or evil. Hence the idea of fire sacrifice to appease the fire god.
Baal fire of St. John’s Eve, an ancient pagan festival, is still observed in parts of Celtic England and the northwest of Ireland.
Veneration of Baal in the British Isles is most certainly rooted in ancient Roman influence.
As late as the early 20th century, on the border areas of Ireland & Scotland & on the frontier of what was once the Roman Empire, Baal fires were lit on St. John’s Eve (June 23rd). Villagers would jump over these fires and unknowingly participate in a Baal ritual.
On St. John’s Eve, there was a large community celebration, including children linking arms and singing while circling the yet to be lit, massive bonfire.
The worship of Baal made its way to the United States by way of the immigrants of people from Scotland. This is also how the current day Halloween (Samhain) made it to the U.S.
A cake was made and one piece was singed and blindfolded men took turns picking a piece of the cake. “A sacrifice” of one person to the entire group where the person who picked the piece of cake with ashes then served the community for the next year (a form of “patriotism”) by doing helpful tasks for others.
In time, the Baal veneration was linked to fireworks and bonfires throughout the U.S.
This tradition continued because it fused community and brought people together while eating delicious food
U.S. is a by-product of Scottish Rite Freemasonry and French Republicanism which was a product of the Roman Pagan Empire.
“Republicanism is the ideology of governing a nation as a republic with an emphasis on liberty and the civic virtue practiced by citizens. … More broadly, it refers to a political system that protects liberty, especially by incorporating a rule of law that cannot be arbitrarily ignored by the government.” Source
Another summary of this pagan event – “Fire was the theme of Midsummer celebrations as it symbolised the sun. There was an impulse to make merry in the sunlight at Midsummer, before the year waned into autumn. People made bonfires using the charred logs from the previous year. Often bones were tossed in for good fortune. (The term for bonfire derives from late Middle English: bone + fire; fire with bones for fuel.) The fires were thought to lure the sun to stay longer in the sky. People danced and leapt between the flames while feasting.
In the country, bonfires were particularly valued to protect crops and livestock. Fires were lit on the windward side of crops and animals, so the smoke would blow over them. In some places, people even drove animals through the embers of the fires. This practice was possibly used as a protection against disease. Causes of diseases in animals and plants were not understood then. They believed that any contagion was airborne, hence the fire was a cleansing agent against disease.” Source
James 4:4, KJV “Ye adulterers and adulteresses, know ye not that the friendship of the world is enmity with God? whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” … Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.
1 John 2:15-17, KJV
“15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”

Expat Gal has been blessed to have known God as long as she can remember. She was raised Catholic and was baptized, made her First Communion and was confirmed in the Catholic faith. At 21, she left the Catholic faith to become a non-denominational Christian as she began to question some Catholic doctrine. One of her life’s highlights was her family’s lake baptism in 2013. In late March 2015, she received a strong Word from the Lord that your “family is no longer safe here” so she and her family permanently relocated outside the U.S. Her goal is to serve the Lord in any capacity He calls her to serve in.
