Last night I had a dream where the Lord was sending His word into the ears of those who have felt forgotten, those who have felt overlooked, those who seem to be in a place of feeling washed up and finished with. Those that feel like they are too old and they have passed the ‘use by’ date, like Sarah, for the promises of God to be fulfilled in their lives.
I see there is a place where many are, where many have resigned themselves to the fact that the season for those promises to be fulfilled in their lives has come and gone. They feel the dream and desire that once laid in their heart has been overlooked and in turn feel they are forgotten by God. But the Lord would want to encourage these ones, HE HAS NOT FORGOTTEN YOU!!
“But Zion said, The Lord has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me. Can a woman forget her nursing child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? Yes, they may forget, yet I WILL NOT FORGET YOU!” (Isaiah 49:14-15, my emphasis added)
Is Anything Too Hard for the Lord?
The Lord is going to the forgotten places and sending His word, as He did to Abraham in Genesis 18:14 and He is saying,
“IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD? At the appointed time, when the season comes around, I will return to you and Sarah shall have borne a son.”
To some, it might almost seem “laughable” for those promises to be fulfilled in this late hour. Just as Sarah laughed at the thought of God fulfilling the promise in her out of date body, BUT GOD is breathing resurrection life into this forgotten place, and causing a reconnecting of the heart to the dream that He once breathed in seasons gone past. As the Lord came again to Abraham in Genesis 18, breathing the original promise once again, fulfilment of that promise manifested in that season.
The Forgotten Will Be Forgotten No More
Many have found themselves in this forgotten place due to previously being overlooked in opportunities and promotions that have been unfairly usurped by others. Many have found themselves in this forgotten place simply because the length of their season has been so long, they have resigned themselves to the fact that this is their “lot” in life, BUT GOD is BREATHING ON THE BARREN WOMBS AND THE GRAVEYARD TOMBS and resurrecting those things that have been forgotten, unnoticed and overlooked. THE LORD SAYS, “Though men may have forgotten or overlooked you, I HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN YOU!”
This morning as I awoke from the dream, I was asking the Lord regarding it and I was reminded of a sentence President Donald Trump said in his victory speech on the night of the 2016 United States presidential election. As an Australian listening, I was alerted to one of the lines in his speech that sounded like it was amplified louder than anything else that was said. It was in reference to the returned veterans. In the moment I heard his statement, the Holy Spirit said so loud to me, “This is a PROPHETIC STATEMENT from My heart for this season.”
President Trump said, “THE FORGOTTEN WILL BE FORGOTTEN NO MORE!” It rang in my ears for days following and now once again it resounds in my heart as the Lord is “going to the forgotten”.
It’s About Time!!!
In my dream, the Lord was declaring over a lady who was residing in this forgotten place. He was calling forth a promise she had held onto her whole life, but it had never manifested. I went to her after she received the word and I asked her what was her word. When she told me, I shouted, “ITS ABOUT TIME!!”
There was a sense that she had given up on this promise of God because of what appeared to be a delay in the fulfillment. There was a sense that she had just settled, thinking maybe it wasn’t a “God” promise because it hadn’t manifested in the season of her prime opportunity. But God has NOT FORGOTTEN, and was determined and intentional in speaking to that forgotten place and pulling out the destiny, dream and God-given purpose.
I hear, “ITS ABOUT TIME” resounding far and wide for those who have waited long, long seasons for the fulfillment of God’s spoken promises.
Don’t Lose Your Keys
In the dream, I saw two sets of keys, one for the vehicle for life and the other for the vehicle of dreams. In this forgotten place where people were residing, these keys were being lost, then found, then as soon as they were found they were lost again. I saw the keys to the dream needed to be attached to the key ring of the vehicle for life. By attaching the two together, they would be harder to lose.
Keys speak of authority, access and opportunity. In the forgotten place, it is easy to lose sight of life and the vision and how these two connect. The Bible says, “Without a vision, My people perish.” (Proverbs 29:18) That literally means without prophetic vision we lose self-control and cast off restraint. In the forgotten place, we can lose self-control in being diligent with keeping our dreams and vision before us. We can become negligent, getting distracted with other things, and lose sight of the keys of authority that give us access and opportunity to our dreams. We can pick it up, then forget about it and lose sight of it, then pick it up, then lose sight of it. In the forgotten place, the dream can wane and the need for caring can become insignificant because it can feel as though, “What does it matter anyway?”
We get distracted and busy with other things and we can miss the opportunities and access points to the dream becoming a reality. The Lord is releasing a strategy right now to not lose your keys, so you can drive your life out of the forgotten place.
Heaven’s Strategy – It’s a Mary Season
The Lord is saying, “Connect the dream keys back on your keyring of life. May the two become one and be diligent in keeping it safe.”
As the Lord addressed Martha (Luke 10:38-42), for being concerned and worried with MANY things, the Lord is saying in this season, “Choose the good portion and sit at My feet. Hear the word that I am delivering right now because it is the Word that is resurrecting your promise.”
The Lord is intentional in this hour and He is “going there,” like in John 11:11, to the dead forgotten place, and resurrecting the dream and purpose of His people’s lives.
Sit at the Master’s feet and receive the word that is breathing life into the forgotten place and pulling out the destiny, dream and purpose of God in your life. Don’t get caught up with this and that, with the fundamentals of this and that, how to make this happen or that happen. But sit still in the presence of the Master, “hear” His word, and let His word call those forgotten dreams to be a reality. Let His word call forth to your attention once again, to the dreams that you have given up on. Let His word reconnect those dream keys back to your key ring of life, so the two may become one and your dreams will manifest in your life!

Blessings Bonnie , the boy is a product of abuse , environment , lack of love & parenting . You have planted seeds in his life of love , let GOD water them , you have not heard the last of this young man , he knows where love & help is . GOD has a plan for this young man and you have started the process for GODs Glory & the boys salvation . That much damage & pain are not normally healed overnite in a person .
John, thank you so much for your encouraging words.
Bonnie, I just feel as gutted. Just a few minutes ago the Police came to pick up a young employee under my supervision for trespassing and theft. Same story of abuse etc etc. I had to escort him to the Police vehicle and felt such loss as I had also put lots of effort in his ‘development’ – seemingly to no avail.
I have tried to gain the workers trust so I can establish a relationship wherein the seeds of the Word can be sown but again, nobody seems interested. Even the one employee that recommitted to the Lord is allmost always at odds with me.
I came to the conclusion that there is really only one way and that is the straight one, tell it like it is but being kind in the process. If there are going to be a ‘falling away’, it is going to happen sooner rather than later. The ones that will stick in the end will come around sooner as well.
The ‘kid gloves’ approach with abused children seldom works, they have become too hardened by life not to take advantage of it. Best is to spell it out to them…
But dont give up, draw closer to God and let him put this all back together again.
He will bless you and keep you.
Hi Cobus, so sorry for all that you are dealing with too. I agree with you as far as laying it all out and not treating these kids with “kid gloves”. I tried that for quite a while and seems like all I was doing was teaching them that they are owed everything.
Bonnie, may Abba bless you for pouring your heart into these children. Having two adopted children I agree with all that John said. It is a complicated matter and there is much the Lord needs to work out in their lives which can be quite a journey. Thank you for what you do and may He give you clear direction in your ministry.
Bonnie, I have a friend that has worked with abused kids, mainly boys, as a host home and has dealt with alot of this. Every little thing you do in love for him will come back to him, it is not in vain. Take heart and don’t give up on him. God Bless.
Hello bonnie! Do take heart that you’ve done your best and let God take over as the battle is the Lord’s. As he grows up he will definitely recall the moments in his life back then !
Praying for you Bonnie!
Thank you Krista
As I was thinking about this word, the Holy Spirit also gave me the word/vision of blowing the dust off of hearts with dreams that have been pushed to the back corner. “Blowing the dust off” were the main words spoken to my spirit.
Sister Anita, “BUT GOD IS BREATHING ON THE BARREN WOMBS AND GRAVEYARD TOMBS..”—beautiful poetic imagery, and spiritual for sure. I think of Jesus’ crucifixion, after which formerly dead people were seen walking around Jerusalem. Personally, some things I have prayed for my children over 25 years. As you suggest, we tend almost to just give up and feel like we missed it somehow. But Jesus brings dead things to life! Thank you, and GOD bless!
Yes Lord, A great message Anita. I heard something yesterday that is a key to not missing what the Lord has for us. “Passiveness is not humility”. In other words we can deny opportunities by just not acting. As I am going from person to person the Lord has put on my heart to talk to there are other people he has put in the car right next to me as I park or passing me as I walk that are divine appointments. If I do not act the second he says to they drive away or go on with their business…. He wants us to be spot on with our obedience.
One day I was walking near out house and was told to talk to this passing walker. I did not listen and obey that morning. I then had a picture of how much effort it is for the Lord to get these certain people to cross my path. People, mostly who are very open and need a touch from the Lord. As I am typing this, I am picturing myself in our Target parking lot talking to someone. I do not shop at Target and would not be thinking naturally about just stopping in there. Is this the Lord telling me to go this morning, I think so….
Here’s the short message I listened to:

How Passiveness is False Humility
Marilee,
I have the same experiences. The Holy Spirit will nudge me towards someone and if I am not quick to act, they pass by and I know I missed it. These missed encounters trouble me so much that I have to be bold and go for it.. one moment of fleshly awkwardness feels so much better than days of spiritual burden for the times I didn’t respond. There was this one time that I knew I was supposed to go talk to my neighbor and the Lord would not let me have any peace in my spirit until I did it. I also struggle trying to find the balance between worldly obligations and my spiritual walk. I have two young children (ages 3 and 1) and they demand the majority of my time and energy. I just try my best to bring my struggle before the Lord.
Now, I am so overcome with excitement that i rarely pay attention to the fear. I have a business card with a sinner’s prayer on one side and the picture of the cross between us and God. There are a few verses. This is very easy to give to people. After I say a few words I always ask if they have read the Bible. This gives a great indication of where they are. I mention Revelation being fulfilled and how we need to be seeking God, and whatever else our talk brings us to..
Sister Marilee Alm , that has been how my walk works , I love those Divine connections . GOD knows peoples hearts and knows when they are ready to receive if we will just listen and act when HOLY SPIRIT speaks / moves us , it never fails ; the person receives . That is First Church stuff and made my heart & Spirit leap with joy to hear you walking in that calling . There is nothing more fun and exciting than seeing GOD move on and thru HIS people in Divine connections changing hearts & minds . May the Glory Light of JESUS guide you & bless you !
Passiveness is NOT humility – so TRUE, Marilee!! We are told to be “bold and courageous” and not to fear. Especially “do not fear man”, who can only kill the body. We MUST ALWAYS remember who “has our back” (“walk before Me…”) – it is He Who is King of Kings and LORD of Lords. Hold the ground claimed for the LORD. Do not falter or buckle. Stand firm in the LORD and the strength of His might!! Well said, Marilee, well said!!!
Anita, what an EXTRAORDINARY WORD. I am astounded at how this resonates with the Spirit within. Thank you so much for posting. Every image in this Word correlates with images which have come before me. Incredible.
Amen Lord! For You are faithful to all of of Your promises.
As Anita’s words and video words have gone forth over the past 6-8 weeks I have been seeing 11:11 repeatedly – maybe 40 times in the past 8 weeks. She brought light to John 11:11 in this word, and I discovered that Hebrews 11:11 also beautifully relates to her words: “By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.” Anita has shared repeatedly that this is the season for birthing Isaacs — and the season for resurrection life in the seemingly dead places. Once again I saw 11:11 this morning AND the preacher I listened to preached on Ezekiel, life being breathed into the dry bones, and HOPE!!! Come O’ Breath of God! Breathe on us I pray!
Wow! Its amazing how our faithful God speaks to us when we need it the most. This message couldn’t have come at a better time. I have been struggling to hold on to a promise the Lord gave me 7 years ago that I would have a baby. The waiting period has been challenging and has affected many areas of my life. Sometimes I think I have missed the window of opportunity or that I have failed the Lord. I have been praying for the Lord to confirm His word to me, hoping against hope that all His promises will come to pass.
Seven represents completion. I have noticed seasons of my life have worked in multiples of seven years. The same is true for many events in the Bible. So perhaps that’s another confirmation your season of waiting is over now.
Amen! I have been thinking about the 7 years, wondering if this is the year of completion. Thanks!
Anita, thank you so very much for sharing this. Keep-on raising the dead with your God-inspired words and works.
