I am trying to pay attention to what God is showing me, in fact I believe HE is showing many the same thing. Three things within 3 days. The first, one of my hip height raised beds collapsed in the garden. At first, I didn’t think much about it, the bottom probably had rotted out.
Then, two days later a terrible storm with large bolts of lightning, that night my stove did not work, the storm had fried the computer board of my glass top stove.
This afternoon, a call from one of our five churches; the freezer that was working perfectly on Wednesday is no longer working. I had just received 162 pounds of donated hamburger meat for our Food Pantry Ministry and placed it in that freezer. Today, a Church teacher called and said there was blood all over the floor and the meat had already gone bad. Our heat index since Wednesday has been 106 degrees, so the meat being ruined didn’t surprise me. Those freezers are on a covered screened in patio.
What I do see is a common denominator, all three incidents involved food. Growing it, cooking it and preserving it.
I grow our vegetables and can them here at home. Not having a stove means I am not able to can food or cook it. (Try using a grill to can food, it does not work! The flame is too far away)
This is what the Bible says about famine.
Deuteronomy 28:48 – 48 therefore you shall serve your enemies whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger and thirst, in nakedness and lack of everything. He will put an iron yoke on your neck until he has destroyed you.
Ezekiel 7:15 – The sword is outside; pestilence and famine are inside; those in the field die by the sword; those in the city—famine and pestilence devour them.
Matthew 24:7 – 7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines[a] and earthquakes in various places:
Psalm 107:33-34 – He turns rivers into a desert, springs of water into thirsty ground,
34 a fruitful land into a salty waste, because of the wickedness of its inhabitants.
Luke 21:11 – 11 there will be great earthquakes, and in various places famines and plagues; and there will be dreadful portents and great signs from heaven.
Revelation 18:8 – therefore her plagues will come in a single day – pestilence and mourning and famine—and she will be burned with fire; for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.”
Ezekiel 4:17 – 17 Lacking bread and water, they will look at one another in dismay, and waste away under their punishment.
These are just a few; the Apocrypha says even more in 2 Esdras.
I take this as a warning from God, the clock moving us fully into the “End Times” is set and ticking. The pandemic was the kick start. We as a Nation and in fact all Nations; have turned their back on God and He has had enough.
As I write this, a great sense of foreboding is upon me, the worst is ahead of us front and center and the majority of the populations are ignorant of it. Get out of the cities, move to rural areas 30-50 miles or more away. Seek high ground, floods will come where they have never been before. Random violence will increase, people will kill their neighbor for food. If you laughed at “Preppers”, it is time to stop laughing and instead find a way to sustain yourself with food and water in an unlikely place.
Ask God for His forgiveness, for your sin and wrong doing, for the sins of your family. Seek Him while He can still be found, for the day is coming if it is not already here; that God will not respond to cries for help. He is preparing to cast down severe judgment upon the world and it started three days ago.
Prophets have been warning for years, “brace yourself,” something is coming, get prepared, both Spiritually and physically. Well now is that time. You better have food, water, TP, batteries, backup power / heat stocked up. It may be a very long winter. What’s coming shortly will not be the wrath of God, but for those who are not prepared, it will feel like it.
