In view of the Coronavirus situation, I found something of interest that David Wilkerson said in his book, “The Vision,” about epidemics. Back then, “epidemics” was popularly used, sometimes more than “pandemics.” He starts out speaking of cholera in India and Pakistan, then says:
“Malnutrition, starvation and all epidemics that accompany it will be a problem faced by a number of other nations as well. Food and relief supplies will not be adequate to combat these overwhelming problems, and many will die without help. Medical supplies will reach only a small proportion of those in critical need. This will prove to be mankind’s biggest war.”
Now, keep in mind that Wilkerson spoke of an economic confusion, or crash. He spoke of wars, earthquakes and other disasters. But he clearly identifies disease and the accompanying starvation as the “biggest war” of them all. I have not heard this part of Wilkerson’s vision discussed anywhere. Might be worth an article. By the way, this book is out of print, and old copies are being sold on Ebay for as much as $100 or more.

Just finished pouring concrete floor for greenhouse attached to house . Roof is already done. Was making a back patio area but forget that I’m looking for food independence. Poured floor then slap some walls and a bunch of glass. Wish things would open up cause I looked.online and gardening and hydro shops were all out of stock. Plus what’s open who is even fully staffed. I got things to build . Gonna do hydro for the above ground stuff and dirt for root stuff. Area is 4 ft by 15 ft aprox and 10 foot high. Not super huge but I thought it’s a prudent thing to do. Also got two garden areas on 4 acres. So just looking to supplement produce during the winter. Stupid covid I was just about to buy a home freeze dryer too. Once I go back to work I’ll get it. Cook extra and freeze dry it.
Just today I was on the phone asking about my food bucket order from 3 months ago. They will ship right away (in stock) but had to substitute another provider’s food. Demand is about 100 X the normal amount.
hi James, there are actually some copies in Spanish and German available on abebooks.com …. I think I have a copy of David Wilkerson’s book. When I tried to tell a friend about his prophetic message a few years ago, this friend who is a Christian denounced him calling him a false prophet. First of all he never claimed to be a prophet, he just shared what the Lord showed him, She also went on to talk bad about him because his prophetic words had not come true, which I find totally unreasonable, for we don’t know when those words were coming to pass. She never took the time to listen to what he had to say and make an educated opinion, but instead went online to see what others said about him. Well, now, I believe we are truly seeing a lot of what he saw unfolding. He also talked about the sin and the sexual immorality and gross perversion going on in the church and those things have come to pass.
I don’t know if anyone else has been feeling this, but in my spirit the Lord has been pressing on my heart to prepare spiritually first and foremost and also physically. There is a GREAT FAMINE COMING! I hope everyone prepares, but we are to believe that the Lord can multiply and increase what we have. We must be prudent.
I had a dream the other night, I only saw a man in a uniform, In my spirit I knew that he was a Chinese general. He was talking but I could not hear what he was saying and then I saw on a table a big map. I could not see what was on that map but I felt in my spirit that it was some kind of invasion plan. This was 3:30 AM and I just felt led to pray in the spirit against it for an hour or so until I fell asleep again.

Yes Famine is coming, this word has been confirmed here and almost every where I look on the web. It’s the Lord judgment and it’s final. He will keep our store baskets full. He is the Lord who supplies our needs.

Thanks for the links Watcher. Since so many Christian YouTube channels have been deleted in the past couple of years, I downloaded a copy for my files.
Ive been downloading anything and everything I come across. Videos are being pulled almost as soon as they are posted. Ive an original copy of Wilkersons book somewhere too I think
How exactly does one download from YouTube? Pardon me if I sound like a noob in this regard.
Firefox has an addon called Video DownloadHelper, it works for youtube & for other sites but not always. I’ve been using it for years. If you really want something but nothing seems to work you can use free desktop (& more) recording software like OBS to capture whatever.

Thank you for the reply. I shall explore the options you’ve given, but concerning the second one, are you saying that the particular software will record videos running in my browser?
OBS you can just pretty much record whatever you want (desktop, & or specific windows, & or even cameras at the same time & other complicated arragements), but you have to rewatch whatever it is & you have to setup OBS which is a bit of a project. To record something on youtube with it you would have to setup OBS then watch the youtube video again as you are recording, make sense? Firefox Videodownload helper is a way easier option but it doesn’t always work though it usually does.
Sujit there are numerous methods. I use three applications – 4K Video Downloader, WinX YouTube Downloader and Debut which I paid for. Debut can capture streaming video that cant be captured using the others. After some years of using various methods these are the best Ive come across

*** I heard a story told of two best friends who grew up across the street from one another, dated girls who were best friends and married, had families and went to war together… during the war one of them was critically shot while trying to get back to the trench and before his buddy could jump up to go retrieve him , his sarge grabbed him and told him not to go because , his buddy would be dead before he could even get to him and he would just lose his life too! This man though, as soon as the sarge had turned his back, jumped out of that trench and sprinted for his best friend By the time he got back down inside that trench, the sarge was yelling at him that he not only didn’t save his buddy but now he too was critically shot and dying and this was all a WASTE! The man looked into the sargeant’s eyes and said, “No, Sarge, it wasn’t a waste! When I got to him, he was still alive and with his last breath, he looked into my eyes and said, ‘I KNEW YOU WOULD COME!’
Those words, ‘I KNEW YOU WOULD COME’ are the words I hold in my heart whenever I look at anything scary or out of place around me and I feel Him and I know Him who for that joy before Him endured the cross and would not let anything stop Him from reaching the One He Loves ! SELAH. Can we not do the same for Him ?
Ali, I appreciate your comment and sincerity. I Have had to really press in to Gods promises and meditate on His Word…keeping my thoughts captive. In addition to all that’s going on, we have been in a long season of great trial. Yesterday I came across some of Corrie Ten Boom’s quotes and they brought me deeper revelation of His Word and peace.
