"christmas"I would like to share a couple of dreams the Lord recently gave me. I don’t often have prophetic dreams. I’ve had some, but not a lot.

Dream #1:

A few weeks ago I dreamt that it was Christmas Eve morning, and we were living in our old house (we moved a year ago). And neighbors from our CURRENT neighborhood (they’re good friends of ours who are definitely Christians) showed up at the front door of our old house with a big basket of Christmas goodies. When they arrived I finally realized that I had not done ANYTHING to decorate or prepare for Christmas. I was getting worried because my mom and stepdad were coming over that day (as they do every Christmas Eve to spend the night), and I knew my mom would be incredibly upset and disappointed.

Interpretation:

This Christmas is going to be very different than normal. Our old house represents how we’ve always done our Christmas traditions. And neighbors coming over from our new neighborhood represent that it’s for this new season, this coming Christmas. I asked the Lord if this dream was from Him, and He confirmed it was.

Dream #2:

Then last week I dreamt that it was Thanksgiving morning. We had just gotten back from a trip late on Tuesday night. And I was getting ready to have to call my mom to tell her that I had no turkey and stuffing (the heart of the Thanksgiving meal – to me) prepared, let alone in the oven. I was going to have to suggest that we buy a store-made version of stuffing and slices of turkey, which I knew would really upset her.

Interpretation:

This Thanksgiving will also be very different than normal. I asked the Lord if this dream was from Him, and He confirmed it was as well.

God is so GOOD, and I’m honored that He would give me dreams like this.
