Last night a dream, our Father was walking me through it. In the dream I was taken to a beautiful place, castle like in form and nature. A beautiful Gold color gown was placed on me and it seemed the gown sparkled. It was long and brushed the floor, the skirt of it full and flowing. The bodice of the gown was gold and was fitted. There were what appeared to be small gold and clear stones but modest, the sleeves were of a lighter material, a more sheer fabric that reached my wrists.

Then my hair was styled, my face was cleansed but no make up put on. I noticed that my hands were soft and my finger nails were shaped and a clear polish had been applied to them.

Then I was told, “You Are My Princess”. From there, I was taken to different events, one a school where young people were outdoors, where I met them and talked to them. Next, I was in a building and my “handler”, the one who scheduled the events I was to attend was sitting beside me on the phone organizing my schedule. He was adamant that I be protected at all cost. I sensed that I trusted him fully and felt safe with his decisions.

Then I was at a Daycare, it was filled with children and as I watched them play my heart sang. The next event I was at a hospital, a patient asked if I could write a letter for him, so I did. At all these events my “handler” was with me.

Lastly, I was walking down a street, my gown was flowing and I felt Grace filling my body. I sensed that something had radically changed within me. I stood taller, there was a regal peace upon me.

A woman came up to me and asked for my autograph, she handed me a piece of paper and a pen. On the paper this is what I wrote: “Tonight there will be an event, it will be decided if I will become your Queen, please pray for me,” I didn’t even sign my name.

Then I woke up.

This morning as I sat in my rocker, just talking to God about the dream and what it meant this is what the Holy Spirit said.

“You have always known you are My daughter, but you have never understood you are My Princess. I have adopted you and made you My blood heir. From this day forward you will live in the understanding of who you are.”

I was weeping as I asked my Father to forgive me for all the wasted years in my life, for not pursuing His character, His goodness and righteousness to a deeper extent. I asked for forgiveness for the times I have not embodied the actions or thoughts of His Princess, there were so many of those times.

I listened as He laid out for me my future. All of my past to this very moment this morning is under the blood of Yeshua, essentially it has been erased. This morning the mantle, if you will of being His Princess has been settled upon me. His peace and Grace have filled me, He requires a humble heart and yet a regal demeanor. He requires kindness and compassion for all peoples and He requires that I love others sacrificially. He showed me that the people in my sphere and in our 5 churches are not only His, but as His Princess they are mine to care for. I must have their best interest, their spiritual and physical needs in mind and act on those needs. His last thought placed in my mind was this, “Today you start anew, never be ashamed of who you are, instead you must own who you are; my daughter and my Princess.”

I thought about the dream, when my Father God had the beautiful gown placed on me, my hair soft, clean and touching my shoulders, my face clean but no makeup. I noticed my hands were soft and nails well kept with no “attention getting” polish.

I noticed that as His Princess, I had a job to do; to go out and reach others, to touch their lives with His Holiness and Grace. I also noticed I didn’t sign my name on the autograph the woman wanted, instead I asked her to pray for me. I believe the “handler” in the dream was the Holy Spirit, always with me, guiding and arranging my future; adamantly protecting me.

As for becoming a “Queen” in the Royal Courts of God, this is beyond my comprehension. Even so, I will trust my Father, I will move and have my being within what He has said I am.

My Fathers’ daughter and Princess, the King who is over all.

Kasey Streichert Burt
