The need for health passes will also be imposed across more areas of society, leaving fewer social activities and transport options available for those who are opposed to the jab.<\/p>\n
Monday\u2019s bill means that the health pass \u2013 a vaccine passport or a negative test \u2013 will be required in bars and restaurants, on long-distance train journeys, and on flights.<\/p>\n
Prior to the measures approved on Monday, President Emmanuel Macron had already applied the health pass to museums, cinemas and swimming pools, following the spread of the Delta variant in early July.<\/p>\n
The bill still needs final approval by France\u2019s Constitutional Court \u2013 a body to whom many protesters are appealing for the protection of their \u2018droits de l\u2019homme\u2019, or human rights.<\/p>\n
