Yesterday morning, I saw a short vision of someone’s feet as they were walking down the concrete steps of their porch. I saw their left foot miss the bottom step wide to the left, which caused their foot to land on some dry leaves laying on the ground. As their foot landed, I heard the crunching sound of the leaves. Then a word came to me, “Misstep.”
I immediately assumed I had done something wrong and God was letting me know about it. I began to wonder what it was, so I asked Him, but got no reply. It was a lousy way to start the day. I felt terrible about it and vowed to fast from some things for the remainder of this month, but still not a clue about what it was I had done.
Then at the end of the day, I was listening to the Trunews broadcast from Monday February 8 2016. Rick’s guest, Ron Holland, was sharing how he had studied the events leading up to World War 1. Then he said, “Just one little misstep is all it took to start the war.”
Then I realized my little vision was not meant as a correction for me. Whew! However, that would have been the better option because I believe it is a word of warning world leaders are now taking danger missteps that could lead to world war as history repeats itself.
In the same program, Rick Wiles identified how Saudi Arabia is now moving 100,000 troops to invade Syria. Russian President Vladimir Putin has already warned the Saudi’s that any troops coming into Syria would be a declaration of war, yet the Saudi’s are proceeding. Why would they do this?
U.S. Defense Secretary Ashton Carter voiced his support for Saudi Arabia’s plans, which is just as amazing as their plans. His statement is very close to a commitment to back their insane plan. Why would he say this?
Also, in meetings yesterday and today, NATO leaders have decided to put troops along the Russian border, which is sure to be received very badly by the Kremlin. What are they thinking?
So just like that the Lord gave me a warning about missteps followed by bam, bam, bam, three incredibly stupid missteps that could ignite a world war.
The nations of the world have been pushed to the edge of insanity by bad economic conditions. Sovereign debt levels have increased dramatically in just about every developed nation every year since the 2008 financial crisis. Saudi Arabia’s economic outlook is dire. Russia has been backed into a corner by western sanctions and collapsing oil prices. Desperate people take desperate actions.
These disturbing developments fit very well with recent prophetic warnings shared in the past couple of weeks in Mitch Salmon’s post, A Time of Great Sorrow is Upon You. Another came from Bette Stevens, Weep and Wail for the Time Has Come. And another from Matt Smith, It Is Time for My People to Be Tested Like Never Before.
The shaking has begun. It is getting to the point where Americans might soon have to turn off their totally meaningless television coverage of the Presidential election process and the endless basketball games to find out the global economy is on the verge of collapse and the world is on the verge of war.
While the world takes missteps on their path to destruction, our steps can be guided by God to keep us on the paths of righteousness (Psalm 23:3). While the world takes missteps into darkness, the path of the righteous gets brighter and brighter.
10 Hear, my son, and accept my sayings and the years of your life will be many.
11 I have directed you in the way of wisdom; I have led you in upright paths.
12 When you walk, your steps will not be impeded; and if you run, you will not stumble.
13 Take hold of instruction; do not let go. Guard her, for she is your life.
14 Do not enter the path of the wicked and do not proceed in the way of evil men.
15 Avoid it, do not pass by it; turn away from it and pass on.
16 For they cannot sleep unless they do evil; and they are robbed of sleep unless they make someone stumble.
17 For they eat the bread of wickedness and drink the wine of violence.
18 But the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day.
19 The way of the wicked is like darkness; they do not know over what they stumble. (Proverbs 4:10-19)
