A single puzzle piece in and of itself doesn’t tell much of a story. But when fitted together with the right puzzle piece, it can tell an amazing story.
That’s what happened to me back in December right after I published The Purge. The very next day on 12/13/2020, Averine Pennington published The Longest Day – D=E=C=O=D=E=D. The minute I read her post, I had an AHA moment.
You see, my piece of the puzzle – The Purge – told what was going to happen, and Averine’s post revealed how it would be accomplished. Two puzzle pieces fitted perfectly together that foretold a diabolical plan.
Well, it has happened again. On 8/6/2021 Averine published TOBRUK on 444prophecynews.com. That post was about a protester who punched a police horse named Tobruk in his face during a protest in Australia on 7/24/2021.
Then she described a dream that she received in 2020 where she saw a war horse ready for battle. She commented that she was not given any understanding on the meaning of the word/dream but felt compelled to post it anyway. Well, I think I have some insight.
You see, the Lord has given me many visions about horses. On 10/__/2017 I heard the Holy Spirit say “ANDALUSIAN”. On 11/15/2018 I heard “APPALOOSA”. And on 1/11/2019 I saw a vision of a ZEBRA. End of words and visions.
Since this city girl knows next to nothing about horses, I had to do some research. Here are some tidbits I found on the internet:
‘Throughout history the “Andalusian” has been prized for its prowess as a war horse’.
‘In ancient times, the appaloosa was used to fight in the wars’.
‘The zebra can be very aggressive and has been known to kill a lion by kicking it to death’.
So, basically all three types of horses are war horses.
Why is that significant you ask? Well, in the bible the bride of Christ is often compared to a war horse. In Joel 2:4 it says, “The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.” And in Joel 2:7 “They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war…” So those two verses liken the army of the Lord to war horses. Also in Song of Songs 1:9 it says, “I have compared you, O my love, to a mare of Pharaoh’s chariots.”
Remember Saul’s encounter with the Lord on the road to Damascus? The Lord said to him, “I am Jesus whom you persecute: it is hard for you to kick against the goads.”
“Goads” translates to Strong’s G2759, which refers to an iron goad, for urging on oxen, horses and other beasts of burden. The actual goad is a projection from the back of a spur or a rod that is used to prod the horse and to encourage it to move in different directions. So, the Lord compared Saul to a horse, metaphorically speaking.
Then there was the talking donkey in Numbers 22 that Balaam struck with his staff. His donkey represented an intercessor/prophet trying to save Balaam from certain destruction. And the donkey’s reward was to be beaten by the person she was trying to save.
And most notably, when Jesus wanted to ride into Jerusalem, what did He choose to ride on? A colt that no man had ever ridden. That sounds a lot like the 144K, the spiritual virgins, who follow the Lamb wherever He goes in Rev 14:4.
Okay, so what was the Lord saying by giving the word “TOBRUK” to Averine? Well, Tobruk was a police horse trained in military exercises – a “war horse” in other words. The war horse spiritually represents the bride of Christ. While in the line of duty, he was viciously punched in the face for no reason. Was he doing anything wrong? Nope, just doing his job.
Likewise, the bride of Christ is a warrior in the kingdom of God with a job to do, especially if she is a member of the 144K. Remember in Songs of Songs 5:7 where it says, “The watchmen that went about the city found me, they struck me, they wounded me; the keepers of the walls took away my veil from me.”
The bride of Christ is struck and wounded while performing her assignments. She is persecuted without cause just like Jesus. So, I believe the Lord is saying we have entered a time of great persecution against the Bride of Christ.
So, what does this battle that the Bride of Christ is engaged in look like? Well, it’s a spiritual battle for we war not against flesh and blood. The invisible enemy of principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world and spiritual wickedness in high places comes to comes to steal, kill and destroy the Bride of Christ. For me personally, the enemy has attacked my writing ministry as I wrote about in The Deceiver Who Brought Flowers. He also attacked my family members, which I described in the post The Power of Prayer. And using witchcraft, he also attacked and ultimately murdered my beloved cat, which is documented in Betrayed and also in Cutthroat. Ironically, I opened “Betrayed” with a vision that the Lord gave me back in March of me getting punched in the face just like Tobruk!
One verse in the Word that always brings me great comfort during these attacks is Matthew 5:11. It says “Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12 Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets who were before you.”
Isn’t that amazing! We are to rejoice during persecution because GREAT IS OUR REWARD IN HEAVEN.
Scriptures
JOEL 2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great and strong people; there has not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, through the years of many generations. 3A fire devours before them; and behind them a flame burns: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them. 4The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run. 5Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devours the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array. 6Before their face the people shall be in great pain: all faces are drained of color. 7They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march each one on his way, and they shall not break their ranks:
SONG OF SONGS 1:8 If you know not, O you fairest among women, go your way forth in the footsteps of the flock, and feed your kids beside the shepherds’ tents. 9I have compared you, O my love, to a mare of Pharaoh’s chariots. 10Your cheeks are lovely with rows of jewels, your neck with chains of gold. 11We will make you ornaments of gold with studs of silver.
LUKE 19:30 Saying, Go into the village opposite you; in which at your entering you shall find A COLT TIED, ON WHICH YET NEVER MAN SAT: loose him, and bring him here. 31And if any man asks you, Why do you loose him? thus shall you say unto him, Because the Lord has need of him. 32And they that were sent went their way, and found it even as he had said unto them. 33And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose you the colt? 34And they said, The Lord has need of him. 35And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon. 36And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way. 37And when he came near, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; 38Saying, Blessed be the King that comes in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
REVELATION 14:3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty-four thousand, who were redeemed from the earth. 4THESE ARE THEY WHO WERE NOT DEFILED WITH WOMEN; FOR THEY ARE VIRGINS. THESE ARE THEY WHO FOLLOW THE LAMB WHEREVER HE GOES. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits unto God and to the Lamb. 5And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.
ACTS 9:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why do you persecute me? 5And he said, Who are you, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom you persecute: it is hard for you to kick against the goads.
NUMBERS 22:27 And when the donkey saw the angel of the LORD, she fell down under Balaam: and Balaam’s anger was kindled, and he struck the donkey with a staff.
2 TIMOTHY 3:3 Yes, and all who desire to live godly in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution.
JOHN 15 “If the world hates you, you know that it hated Me before it hated you. 19If you were of the world, the world would love its own. Yet because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. 20Remember the word that I said to you, ‘A servant is not greater than his master.’ If they persecuted Me, they will also persecute you. If they kept My word, they will keep yours also. 21But all these things they will do to you for My name’s sake, because they do not know Him who sent Me. 22If I had not come and spoken to them, they would have no sin, but now they have no excuse for their sin. 23He who hates Me hates My Father also. 24If I had not done among them the works which no one else did, they would have no sin; but now they have seen and also hated both Me and My Father. 25But this happened that the word might be fulfilled which is written in their law, ‘They hated Me without a cause.’
MATTHEW 5:11 Blessed are you, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. 12Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets who were before you.
