The Bible says the joy of the Lord is our strength, so we’re spiritually stronger when we’re full of joy, and there’s nothing like happy praise songs to help us get filled up.
Listed below are my top 5 favorites. If you can can’t get any joy after listening to these, you might need to check your pulse.
These songs were all recorded at the International House of Prayer (IHOP) in Kansas City. Their musicians play live praise and worship music 24/7 and broadcast it free on their website. They also offer archives of all previous music sessions, two hours each, so you can select the musicians you want and listen on demand anytime. Another great thing about IHOP is their copyright is the right to copy, so it’s okay to share these. If you are blessed by their ministry, please consider supporting them financially. I’ve been listening to their music since 2010, so I’ve collected lots of songs over the years.
How to Download or Play Songs:
You can either listen online or download them for free to your desktop computer or mobile device by clicking this link to visit the Z3 News Google Drive page. The praise songs are located in the Z3 praise songs folder. A separate folder contains my top 50 worship songs.
If you’re downloading to your desktop computer, you can download all the songs in the folder at the same time by clicking the “Z3 praise songs” folder, which is located at the top of the screen, Shared With Me > Z3 praise songs. Clicking the folder opens a drop down menu. In that menu, click Download. All songs will be put into a zip folder and automatically start downloading to your computer. Alternatively, right click on any song title, then click Download. By downloading all the individual songs, you can create your own playlists.
Songs can be downloaded to your mobile device one song at a time by double clicking on the song title. In the black screen that opens, click the Download link located in the top right corner.
An alternative to downloading is listening to them on the Z3 News Soundcloud page which allows you to create your own playlists, or get Apple’s iTunes, then open it and select Podcasts, then search for Z3 News, then click the link at the top right to See All, then click on any photo of the musicians.

Many people are struggling or frustrated chronically with their prayer efforts, myself included, and the evil one has recently attacked these efforts even more vigorously. An important messenger of the Lord (Jeff Byerly) just gave out some general advice to use music to get into prayer, so I think many are suddenly looking to try this out. So perfect timing in the Lord!
