In the 21-minute video shown below, Amy Thomas Davis shares a dream she received in which she saw an awful civil war coming within the Church.
In the dream, she was in a vehicle with her family when she saw a civil war raging in the land below. She saw the church was mired in an awful battle with much wickedness, perversion, gossip, trying to perform for God. The focus of the people was not on God, but on making themselves heard so they could make a name for themselves.
As Amy and her family drove away from the war, she saw two eagles holding onto each other as they rose up higher and higher. She knew they were continually saying, “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty who was and is and is to come.” (Revelation 4:8)
Then some people argued with her saying, “Those are hawks.” But she knew they were eagles and that they had the ability to fly very high and see things far away. She knew it meant it was the time of the eagles, the time when we must go up higher so we can rise above the nonsense surrounding the coming civil war. She knew rising up higher was only possible by faith and required taking their eyes off the civil war on the land below, so she started yelling, “We must go up! We must go up!”
She was reminded of the instructions given to the Apostle John to “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” (Revelation 4:1)
As they fixed their gaze upwards on the Most High God, they began driving straight up in a way that required great faith and a miracle to go straight up. They rose up higher and did not even look back at the civil war raging on the ground below.
She knew the eagles (representing the prophetic ministry) would be used by God to introduce others to the coming age as they kept their eyes fixed on Jesus. She understood this coming age will be qualified by the fulness of the knowledge of God, the unbroken age, the infilling that has no end, the age when we enter divine kingship, established through our ultimate submission.
She saw two groups of people. One group had a tight grip on the old church age, so they were unwilling to let go of it to move into the new age. The other group were looking forward to the coming age and were eager to taste the powers of the age to come, but they were getting weary and sluggish trying to hold onto their hope of seeing it. She offered encouragement to them because she saw this coming age is bringing a great infilling of the knowledge of God that will make everything else look foolish because it is so different from the knowledge of this world. She understood we have a choice to either be trapped in the civil war and the sorrows of the land or we can allow the Lord to come and increase in us as we choose to decrease.
But the woman was given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness to her place, where she is nourished for a time and times and half a time, from the presence of the serpent. (Revelation 12:14 NKJV)
