“By This Time Next Year Things Will Be Very Different”

Changes_coming

On Friday, September 9, 2016 the Lord spoke to me after I had spent time in worship and prayer. It had been a turbulent few days prior, and the uneasiness I was feeling in my spirit was finally broken as I worshiped and prayed! The Lord then told me to get my journal and pen ready, and this is what He told me:

“By this time next year things will be very different: economy, shelter(s), work, society, government and politics. God will be an afterthought, removed from all public life.

My children, turn to Me NOW! Walk in my provision, take up your place in My Vine.

In the darkness hides many things intended to do you great harm: but trust in ME, for I AM the Light of the world and I have already overcome the darkness!

Sharpen your swords: My Word. Bury it deep into your hearts for it will soon come under great attack! (I heard these phrases, “hate speech”, “book of hate”)

My children, do not be dismayed for I will never leave you nor forsake you!! Many will give your lives for Me: I do not take that lightly. There is Beauty in what I have for you – let everything go (in order) to hold fast to Me.

The end of all things is very near, so hold fast to My Truth. I AM your Deliverer; the God that brings you out of Egypt. I AM!

I AM coming very soon!

Prepare your hearts. Fill your oil. Trim your lamps. Be alert. Watch and pray.

I AM coming and your reward is with ME…

I AM the Alpha and the Omega; the Beginning and I AM the END of all things!

I love you with an everlasting LOVE!”

God gave me these Scriptures for this Word:

Galatians 5:9
1 Peter 5:8
1 John 2:9
Ezekiel 33:19
Isaiah 19:7-11
Matthew 3:1-4
1 Peter 3:9

My friends, today is the day to make sure your life is hidden with Christ. Today is the day to abide in Christ ever deeper. Today is the day to let the things of this world go, and hold fast to Christ. Today is the day of repentance and salvation. Today is the day to hold ever tighter to our Master’s Hand and follow Him…

This message Is from God, and was encouragement for me. For the last month, I have been asking God to give me more spiritual vision and sight, more spiritual hearing, more spiritual wisdom, knowledge, understanding, and thinking. I believe he has answered my prayer, because for the last 2 weeks, I have been asking God to reveal sins to me, and things that are displeasing to Him, I never thought of. One recent exmple, I believe God allowed me to see, was a Gospel music album cover, with a gospel singer who had his chest showing like Teddy Pendergrass, and when I listened to a couple of his songs, the lyrics were fine, but the way he sung then, my spirit instantly started to pick up this classic Jeffery Osborne- Freddy Jackson baby making, Lenny Williams girl I’m down here begging, about to catch a case like Ronald Isley. I love music, and I can play 3 instruments, and I love many genres of music, but I believe The Holy Spirit allowed me to pick up the effects of This singer, and others doing something for bashing tnal show, and not for God. Bear in mind this was a 1972 vinyl album. Then I started to see this more with other singers, when I listened to their songs. They had good lyrics, but the way it was being marketed was a spiritual eye-opener. God knows every mans true intent, and when gospel singers and musicians use their gift to glorify themselves, this is a no no. It. doesn’t matter what genre of 🎶 one does for God, they must make sure it’s with holy intentions. I used to never notice this to the degree I do now, because I was big on making sure the lyrics were acceptable, and were… Read more »

You know, I have really become serious about this issue as well. There are songs from Hillsong that I really love, but after the stunt that was pulled with one of the singers running on and across stage in just his underwear, I am wondering if I should even listen to their music. There are other artists that I listened to and wonder, like Toby Mac, and a whole slew that participated in that huge “Together 2016″… You have people like Michael W Smith and Jeremy Camp and many others that I have listened to for YEARS, and I am banging my head asking God, are they really that blind?!?!?! I don’t know, my heart hurts…a lot.

A couple of thoughts…

1. I’m not a fan of the “naked cowboy” stunt that was pulled. I’m fairly sure that by this point, they know it was a bad idea too. We all mess up, and thankfully, we have grace through Jesus to renew us each day.

As a musician on worship team, I can say that we play songs from these various people or groups often. Regardless of who wrote the song, do not limit the Holy Spirit’s ability to magnify the Father through them. That is up to you and your heart to be in the right place through the Holy Spirit when you sing it.

2. As to the other artists at “Together 2016,” we can’t judge their intent merely by them being there. Sometimes you have to roll up your sleeves and find people wherever the Spirit leads you to them. I have a pastor friend who has ministered to people at a bar and led them to Christ. Why did he go there? God told him to.

What if Jeremy Camp was at Together 2016 to counter whatever falsities the pope was presenting? God knows, we don’t. We have to trust that he can and will use all things for good.

Unless a song contains scriptural inaccuracies, it can be blessed and redeemed in that moment through genuine Spirit-led worship. If you can sing the song in your car, and it brings you to a place of worship with the Father, does it matter who wrote it?

Exactly. Anybody remember Ray Boltz before he ‘came out of the closet’? Some of the worship songs he wrote were incredible. And there is no doubt in my mind that the anointing of God was upon him back then. I still listen to some of those songs even now and they are a great encouragement to me.

Some years back, I actually wrote him and told him that no matter what he stood for now that he couldn’t take back the music he wrote back then. It happened. It was authentic and it was real. And I believe some of those songs may be responsible for bringing some to the Lord.

I hope he comes back to the fold …. but regardless…. people….. God can use anybody/anything to get somebody’s attention. A donkey. A backslidden person…. even a fish.

I think it’s important to hold Christian artists to high standards but I would caution throwing the baby out with the bathwater. God can use far more than we can imagine. I still smile when I think about how Carrie Underwood told people who took offense to her song ‘Something In The Water’ (clearly about Christian baptism) that if they didn’t like it they could change the channel. Is she a Christian? Who knows. But when you listen to that song… wow… the fact they play it on the radio in this day and age is something.

In an interview Tobymac was asked, “If you could say one thing to this generation, what would you say?” Here is Tobymac’s lame reply . . . We have different parts of the music body of Christ. We have bands that are out there in the trenches of the mainstream playing clubs every night. I’ve had moments in the mainstream and I’ve had moments where I was just in the gates of Christendom, not that there should be walls up, but . . . if I was talking to the Church the message I would have for them, people who have culture throwing everything at you . . . it’s very difficult to remain unjaded, to remain soft clay in God’s hands. For an artist like me who’s just put out my 8th cd (not counting remixes and greatest hits and all that stuff) my number one goal in my life is to remain unjaded. And I think that’s a problem in artistry. I think our artists backstage get jaded. The next song becomes the next song they gotta write because it’s their job. The next cd becomes the next cd they gotta go make in the studio because it’s their job. They fell like they’ve gotta do this for radio and do this for this department. It breaks my heart. Because if you can put yourself in that place every record, ever song, every studio session, every show where you’re just like, “I wanna walk on water today with this song I’m gonna write. I’m gonna step out in faith and believe with all my heart that God can breathe something through me that changes someone’s life. I’m gonna believe that God’s can breathe something through me that wakes someone up who’s turned away from His love and opens… Read more »

Matt, yes it has been a time of going deep in personal repentance. These are not issues with active sin, rather wrong teachings or understandings, attitudes, past wounds….those small foxes that eat the fruit. I do believe the Bride is being cleansed to be without spot or wrinkle.

I woke up this morning hearing the words “Guard your heart.” I googled the phase and it pulled up Proverbs 4:23-27. I looked it up in my own bible (NKJV) and it didn’t read exactly in those exact words but I did find an interesting study on the verses. I think it is worth reading. I haven’t pondered the article long and hard to say I agree with everything (I have learned not to let people tell me how to think and how to interpret the bible) but I believe these verses are very important for our time.

After reading your post, I feel prompted to share what I received while meditating on Aug 16, 2016. I was meditating on Proverbs 4:10–15. Here is what I received:

Do not embrace the way of the wicked. Avoid it. If you encounter it, turn away from it.

I have come that you may have life. And I am wisdom; I am truth. If you abide in me, you will live.

I can’t say anything about the timing, but I believe the passage and my meditation concurs with what we should be doing during this time. The Lord has nevertheless impressed upon my heart several times that this age is passing away and that I should not cling to the things of this world.

I too have been crying out to the Lord to SHOW ME the things I don’t see. To see things RIGHTLY! So heavy of heart. Matt–Oh how can I describe my response to your post??? This is SUCH an issue! I have felt so guilty about maybe having a BAD ATTITUDE when it comes to Christian “worship” music. Throughout my life, I’ve gone back and forth back and forth on this. I read down through the comments before writing myself–Michael W. Smith and Jeremy Camp at “Together 2016”? Oh brother. I realized, their motives could be to “salt” the event, but I couldn’t stomach being involved with a Babylonian celebration–a prostituting of what Christianity is! I digress..my generation and on, have poo-pooed hymns. Let me say this: it wasn’t the hymns’ fault! It was the dead church that lost what they were singing! Hymns have a depth that I challenge anyone to look for in the froth and bubbles of most “worship” songs. Yes, we must worship, and I know that many of the songs really do have good words…but it’s all the same. They start sounding all the same and there is no deep doctrine intrinsic in the words! Hymns have amazing depth and truth ingrained in them and the folks (including me who know many) who sang them, had those truths implanted into their minds and then on into their hearts. Sooooo many times I have questioned: do I like this song because of the lyrics/message or the beat? The emotions produced by exciting music are often mistaken for the Holy Spirit–when He is really grieved! It’s flesh stuff. And ONE MORE THING: Many “worship” sessions put the volume so high, people have to wear ear plugs. I could go on and on–but you hit a nerve in… Read more »

Thank you Matt for sharing! Just last week I was studying James 3 and verse 13 really jumped off the page to me:

Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

.

That word (I bolded it) ‘conversation’, when used in Scripture is referring to the ‘manner’ in which one lives, the ‘way’, the ‘behavior’ and all that encompasses ones way of life, especially their heart condition (that’s what God looks at). So yes, we must be discerning by Holy Spirit of the things that truly matter to God!

God bless & keep you brother…

Matt,
Maybe you and others can help me out with this one. I have been a bass player for 33 years now. Started playing when i was 10. Music was the only thing i loved, then it was taken away for a long time. My love of playing was just gone. Then last year i had the oppurtunity to play again. In a hip hop band of all things. Im more old school so thats not exactly my thing but this guys stuff is so different. I had rediscovered my love of playing. The problem is the whole scene. The message isnt a bad one but at the same time i am bothered by the fact that the whole scene is money, image, etc. etc. Not the music. Im torn. I keep hearing the word “seperate.” Could someone, anyone pray on this with me. I dont know if maybe im supposed to stick with it and be more of a positive influence on others or bail on it. Anymore, everywhere i go i feel so out of place. I dont fit in with this world.

Robert, I am a man that loves smooth jazz, and smooth sounding saxophone, and growling sax (Those honkers and screamers). I love Fender Rhodes type Electric Pianos. I also love funky stuff, especially smooth funky stuff. My favorite chord in all of music is a “FMaj7” or any “4Maj7” chord. I also loved the upbeat rocking saints of old school gospel, and blues style. And, I love smooth worship music. One thing I have learned everybody that sings Amazing Grace, ain’t saved. There are many worship leaders who don’t even live the life they sing about. Music is one of those cases where if it has lyrics, you need to listen to the lyrics first. Because, if the lyrics are scripturally sound (which includes morally clean lyrics), then you can sing the melody how you want it. However, the presentation is another key factor. If it has to be loud, to draw attention to ones self and not God, or if the video or live performance has you wearing mini skirts and tight fitting clothing, or you have you chest sticking out like Keith Sweat or Nicki Minaj, or the performers are dancing to the music where the body is jirating in a sexual in a demonic manner, then Houston we have a problem. This is when you look at the artist, and not the lyrics itself. There are cases, when certain people can invite bad spirits into them for listening to certain styles in the Gospel music umbrella, and the genre itself invites bad spirits they do not need, (Rock Gospel, Blues Gospel, Country Gospel, Caribbean Gospel, Smooth Gospel,…etc), so these individuals try to stay away from a certain style, so they are not tempted with bad spirits. Example, I listened to a man take R.Kelly’s “Bump and Grind,”… Read more »

To you all, regarding music:
Satan was in charge of music in Heaven, when he was still Lucifer, so we are dealing with the master musician himself.
Although, God created him, therefore He’s the Author!
When it comes to music, we have to be extra vigilant, because it is the only medium that penetrates our subconscious mind.
I’m my experience, every song can be taken through 3 filters:
– lyrics ( Scriptural, exalting the Lord)
– beat ( if it’s faster than human heartbeat and causes your body to react in a sensual way)
-the singer him/herself ( are they really Christians?)

Watch a toddler’s reaction! They are not acting.
Anyway, I hope this helps.
Blessings to all of you!

Robert, I too am a bass player, for about 40 years now. I understand what you’re talking about!! I’ve just finished 1 year of not playing at all, before that God had me playing in some bands/venues that I never thought I would have played in previously but God made it crystal clear that He wanted me there. He taught me a TON during these past handful of years and it prepared me for much of what’s going on today… With that being said, it was only the result of a very serious willingness on my part to be completely obedient to Him, yielding everything in my life, complete submission and surrender! I have become a dead man as in Romans 6:11. The ONLY thing that matters is God. The ONLY thing that tells me what to do is God. I answer to ONE. I am in love with ONE. I worship ONE: The Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!! This will sound crass, cold and harsh: God isn’t interested in what you love, care about or are talented in. He wants YOU. Period! Give Him yourself completely, surrender all, and find out what HE desires and then line up with His desires and plans, in obedience, and then you will be pleasing your Lord and Master! He may have you play in a hip-hop band, or he may not… But it’s up to HIM to make the call, it’s not up to us. And once you do this, and are walking in complete submission to your Heavenly Father, you’ll find that you have exactly what you need!!! I know that God will reveal Himself and His heart to you in this area, to the degree that you’re willing and open to surrender and receive.… Read more »

Robert,

I’ll pray for you, but I will also share what I feel to be true. I too am a music lover and believe that music in itself is a good thing, but without God, even good things become corrupt. It may not seem like much now that I tell you this, but when this dawned on me, it was like some new revelation. But if you think about it, this is just wisdom.

I think many of us feel that we don’t fit in with this world and that’s a good thing. We’re in it but not “of ” it. We’re just passing through; our purpose being to surrender to HIS plans for us 100%.

I will pray for you Robert. You, I, we who love and follow Yeshua DON”T fit in with this world. 🙂 Even the best Christian gathering or the best Christian marriage or friendship, is still a shadow of the glorious Kingdom to come. So for sure, when you’re out in the world with folks worshiping the idols of money, image, etc. at the temples of the club, or the recording studio, you’re definitely not going to feel in place, because you’re not! The God of All Wisdom and Truth will guide you in your perfect path that is Divinely designed. Perhaps His Grace has called you to be “in but not of” as you are salt and light to your spiritually dead fellow musicians (just look for a brother or sister in Christ in your circle, because you shouldn’t be alone, Jesus never sent his disciples out alone!) OR perhaps you are being called to a band of believers. My bass-playing nephew literally got snatched up to join a traveling worship team–it was nothing short of miraculous. God has given you a gift that is close to His heart: music. I will pray Proverbs 3:5-6 will be your anchor for these days ahead, Robert, as you remain SEPARATE from the snares and cares of this world, yet effective as you make your way in it–just like Jesus! Bless you!

Matt,
Father is pleased, continue to allow the Holy Spirit with His Word to go to the very depths of your being.

Worship in SPIRIT and TRUTH……they both must be present. If we just have the “spiritual”….without the truth of His Word, it will lead in to spiritualism….error; if we only have the truth, Word, without the Holy Spirit leading, it brings death—i.e. religion…..and sadly this is what the majority of His people have done, and why there is so little discernment. ” Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life”. 2 Corinthians 3:6….
I have listened to some secular songs that have more anointing than what I have heard in “church”, self-glory! It all has to do with the intent of the heart. Every man’s ways are clean in his own eyes, BUT the Lord weighs the spirits!

Anyway, Matt, you are a joy and pleasure to the Father….
Have a lovely day!

Paula: I’m having trouble with your post. If the lyrics are based on sound doctrine of the Holy Bible and teachings of the historical church then the Holy Spirit is in front, in the middle and behind – that is, all around the music. What is “looking beyond and discerning”?

Paula

Hmmm….Let me see if I can help you to understand from my end and experience. I have heard some Christian songs and choruses with what one may term biblical lyrics but then there is just something about the song that just didn’t feel right in my spirit. You cannot go wrong when you sing scripture; but there are times a lyric may seem sound and you have to look a little deeper because it may not bear witness with your spirit. Lyrics are important but what was the spirit in which the song was written. There are many Christian artistes in my country who write songs but they write them with a secular mindset/spirit and the lyrics may be good but the spirit that is released while those songs are being written/sung is what I am talking about. It isn’t something that is tangible; it is just something that you sense. I hope that helps you to understand.

Well that does help. I’m no artist- only a simple listener and singer. I’m just not in tune with your worship practice. In our tradition, we sing hymns and those hymns have been vetted by our theologians. I don’t ever recall singing a Christian hymn in our worship service that didn’t seem right in my spirit. However there are many many secular tunes that I refuse to sing along with because they are flat Satanic. For example, most of the Beatles stuff. (John Lennon’s “Imagine” comes to mind).
Anyway, thanks for the thoughtful response. I’ll ponder this a bit and perhaps I can adapt my thoughts as you suggest. Peace, Friend

Matt,
If you’re into researching the roots of a lot of the music that’s out there, I HIGHLY recommend viewing “The Truth Behind Hip Hop” series by Pastor G. Craige Lewis. His ministry is http://www.exministries.com. He dives DEEP into where most music we listen to nowadays comes. He has a lot of material on his website and on youtube. Part 8 of the series is my favorite by a MILE. Be blessed brother

Matt,

A couple of months ago, I listened to a sermon by Pastor David Lankford on The Voice of Evangelism and it was on this very topic. It was titled, Strange Fire, and referred to Leviticus 10:1 when Aaron’s sons added incense to an offering making a “strange fire” to Yahweh. Pastor Lankford preached on some forms of gospel music as strange fire. I hadn’t thought of this until that sermon and now again. I encourage you to listen to that sermon. http://www.blogtalkradio.com/voiceofevangelism/2016/04/25/strange-fire-doctrine-and-false-prophets

Great observation Matt. Music indeed plays a very important role in diverting the mind of a believer. While I was a lukewarm Christian, I used to listen to worldly songs and I tell you the way those lyrics creep into your mind to mar your imagination is evil indeed. The day I repented and gave my heart over to God totally, I heard the Spirit whisper to delete all this music from my mobile and my desktop. I obeyed and replaced them with Christian songs which glorify Jesus only and everytime I listen to them, they soothe my emotions and make me happy. I chime in to give glory to God. Now with Christian music too, its very important to be discerning. There are some good ones out there like Casting Crowns, Newsboys, Jim Waller, Lauren Digaele to name a few whose music uplifts the soul.

I had asked and have been asking the Lord to separate me from anything that does not fulfill his purposes in me or even weed them out of me. I really didn’t think much of it but in hindsight, I can’t help noticing that God has distanced me from the music I used to hear. They were not profane, but they were not edifying or God-glorifying music either. And I find that I don’t really miss them.

What is even more amazing is not their removal but that he has been teaching me to sing in tongues! I could speak in tongues before but not sing. So, I do believe, Priti, that God is weeding those subtle things out of us that we are not aware of but he is, and he is doing that so that he will have for himself a holy, pure, and spotless bride!

I agree Sujit. Its not just music but what we watch too. I had an experience where the Spirit clearly told me to stop watching horror and worldly movies. I kept rebelling when it came to the horror genie. It was like an addiction and I asked the Lord to take it away as I felt I was too weak to do it on my own strength. One day I walked into a movie store to buy a horror flick. I picked up a black album and guess what, it had all gospel movies so I bought a collection of Gods not Dead and Warroom instead of a horror flick and walla, from that day till today I haven’t touched a horror flick. I hate those movies now. All I watch are Christian movies. Not just that, my unsaved husband, who used to persecute me the most when I changed, used to be against the Christian movies, is asking me to play them himself these days. We watch them together. One night he cdnt sleep and asked me to pray for him. Not only has God changed my life completely after my mum’s death, he is slowly changing him. He used to be into pornographic material a lot even after we married. Today he collected all his dvds and destroyed them after we watched Fireproof together. I can’t express my joy because I pray everyday the he won’t die in his sins and that God will deliver him and save him so that we both can be in heaven together with our miscarriaged baby and my prayers are getting answered slowly. He no longer mocks me for my faith, when I read the Bible, he sits beside me to listen to what I am reading. I pray that day will… Read more »

I remember when Keith Green was convicted about selling his albums and he started giving them away. It caused quite a stir in the “industry,” (that shouldn’t be the word anyway!). The stir didn’t last long. He went on to be with the Lord, and it was business as usual.

At the 2015 Lancaster Prophetic Conference, Mark Johnson (Neville’s son) gave a great message and warning about the Christian music industry as well as some spiritual insight on movies and some items sold at Christian book stores. I also believe things will change very soon. I had an interesting teaching and revelation from the Holy Spirit this morning. It came out of the blue. A couple of days ago someone posted the link to Sarah Hoffman’s prophecy from 1979. It deeply impacted me because it was given with such detail. The bible will define things to consider come, but uses very little detail, so it is not as disturbing as her description was. We have become a very visual and graphic society, when you consider the movies and TV programs that have been released. Sarah Hoffman’s prophecy uses a lot of imagery in her discription of things to come. Anyway, the Holy Spirit revealed something to me this morning. About 40 years ago as I was praying for my four daughters, I was praying and saying to the Lord I did not want to go up in the rapture if one of my children got left behind. I was adamant, in that I said I would not go, he could not make me. Yep, I was disobedient to the Lord in my attitude. I wrestled with the Holy Spirit for over a year, saying I would not go. Then one day I surrendered and said his will be done. I felt something lift off of me. This morning the Holy Spirit spoke to my heart and said a book of rememberence had been brought before him. My request to stay was recorded. He reminded me of Morcaci and how the book was opened before the king, and he was reminded of what Mordicai had done for him earlier, saving his life. He was showing me sometimes are prayers are recorded for answer later. I know tribulation is coming. How long we will live during that time is… Read more »

Hello Peachey,
I believe the “template” of where we are on the Biblical timeline is the Middle East. I submit to you, if you ask Christian refugees that have escaped ISIS, yet saw most of the other Christians, raped, tortured, burned alive, buried alive, captured and beheaded. . . They would tell you, “we are in THE tribulation”.

So, why we here in the USA are still relatively comfortable in our society of “peace and safety” .. . We WILL experience “sudden destruction”. This is why it’s so vital people make sure daily our walk is close with the LORD, in obedience to HIS will. We have entered into the season of “suddenlies”.

Linda Clay

And yes, I do believe we have already entered in to what people would call “the tribulation”. I just ask people to pray about that and gain confirmation from the Holy Spirit. I also ask people to look around the globe at the loss of marine life, birds of the air and land animals. . . Rivers turning red, volcanoes actively erupting, increased earthquakes . . . . THE antichrist in the White House and the global economy about ready to implode. WHILE taking into account the global increased persecution of Christians, some “unto death”. Seriously seek the LORD and ask HIM:
“Are we in the tribulation that the Bible speaks about”.

Linda, according to Dan 9:27 the 70th week of Daniel will begin with the making of a 7yr treaty between ‘the one’ (Antichrist IMO) and ‘the many’ (Israel IMO). Do you know whether this treaty has been made? I speculate that it is this treaty which will embolden Israel to rebuild the Temple.

Linda Clay

Hello Savage,
I don’t know if that treaty has been made. There is speculation that a “secret” treaty has been signed, but I don’t believe that is THE peace treaty Daniel talks about.
What I believe will cause THE peace treaty to be signed is this:
After Israel does what appears to be a first strike on Iran. . . This will cause the Islamic world to erupt in violence against Israel. There will be a bloody battle, that will eventually end with THE peace treaty that Obama-THE-antichrist will instigate. This is THE treaty that splits Jerusalem in half.
Within 24 hours of that treaty being signed, we’ll have a MASSIVE earthquake hit from the New Madrid fault line, that literally splits our country in half.
We’re in for a very horrific time here in the USA, but there will also be massive issues globally. We’re under a greater level of judgement for what we have brought upon the world and have been “chosen” to have THE antichrist rise up from our country . . . “Mystery Babylon” (Rev 17 & 18).

LORD HELP US ALL STAND IN YOU!!!

I wonder how many are willing to stay and go through the entire tribulation? How many will pray, come and get me, I don’t want to stay any longer. Are we willing to stay not only for our children, but his children knowing the hardship to come. I have a feeling it will be a time more horrible than we can imagine.

Peachey,
Good question. I know that we would be wise to embrace a servant’s heart like our Lord Jesus had while on earth. In the coming time, I believe He will consider “His Bride” as the ones that have servant hearts, and not selfish hearts (“what about me?”)

I believe for those of us in the USA, it is not tribulation that is coming – it is judgement that is coming for the Nation – the Nation that has been found guilty. (Are you an American? Just like the national debt is the responsibility of every American, so are the national sins the responsibility of every American.)
Tribulation is testing – you can pass or you can fail. As God takes vengeance on Americans, His People really should heed His commands written in 600BC and again in 95AD to “Come out of her [the Daughter of Babylon]!” If you choose not to heed His commandment, be prepared to feel His vengeance. Repeat: that which is coming to the USA is not The Great Tribulation (the 70th week of Daniel hasn’t even begun yet that I can tell.) What’s happening to the USA is the fall of Babylon.

A few years ago, Jesus put it in my heart that I was a citizen and member of his kingdom, an ambassador for Christ, placed on the earth to serve him. To see myself that way. So no matter where I go, my home is there, my alligence is there.

Savage, if you read the Book of Revelation, you’ll notice that what you describe as judgement upon the USA, is actually in what has been called “The Great Tribulation”. . . I’m referring to Rev 17 & 18.
I know that’s difficult for folks to absorb, because cognitive dissonence is very high here in the USA, even amongst those who are “awake”, but again Babylon falls during “The Great Tribulation” (Rev 17 & 18).

Linda, The tribulation won’t begin until the ten nation confederation is formed out of which the Little Horn, the Assyrian, arises, Dan.7:7,8. The Assyrian takes control of the ten nations following a war between the King of the North (Syria, Iraq, Iran, Turkey?) and the King of the South (Egypt, Arabia?), Dan.11:40. Most also expect a 7 year peace treaty between Israel and her neighbors at the start of the tribulation, Dan.9:27. Bible prophesy WILL occur and our dreams and visions must harmonize with it. Meshech, Tubal, Magog, Gomer and Togarmah are all located in Turkey according to Joel Richardson and Walid Shoebat. Russia won’t be on stage until the last 3 1/2 years of the Tribulation when “tidings out of the north and east trouble him”, the A/C, and he has to leave Israel to subdue them, Dan.11:44.

During the time that Jesus was upon the earth, the people of Israel had corrupt priests and leaders. The people were oppressed. Even though Jesus was born in Israel, he said his kingdom was not of this world. My kingdom is not of this world. Jesus did not leave Israel once his ministry started. He came to save the lost, and to set the captives free. Jesus has a work for his people here in the US.

Paul knowing he would be taken captive and imprisioned continued with his ministry.

Yes, judgement is coming, but Jesus will protect those that have a work to do to reach the lost. Jesus would never abandon the lost. He said he would seek them out.

By coming out of Babylon, I believe we are not to partake of her sins. We are to separate ourselves as the word says.

I know the Lord’s people will NOT go through the great tribulation. The first 3 1/2 years of tribulation, I am not sure about. I hear about what’s going on with the Christians in the Middle East and they are already in the tribulation, and great judgement.

Today the Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, “fear God.” We are not to fear man. Is there really any place safe in the world to go? I don’t think so. Each country has it own problems. How do we know what other countries will face in the future?

I posted the link to SarahHoffman’s vision – very powerful. It was the most detailed account I have read. I grew up listening to Keith Greene songs which were a mixture of love and conviction. I sometimes sing his songs to God in worship, but I ask where are he songs that convict people of sin?

If you read the full version of Sarah Hoffman’s vision, she says God or an angel instructed her to read the Book of Mormon, not to expose it as false, but confirming it as true. She lost me on that one.

Also Peachy do you know if she ever renounced Mormonism or was ever born again? If not, this is an excellent example of the spirit of divination, which can be accurate, but the source is not Holy Spirit.

I removed her testimony because I read the full version a couple of years ago and saw where she said God instructed her to read and follow the Book of Mormon. God would not do that, so she must be hearing from someone else.

I know that Jesus raises from the dead. Sarah was apparently taken above the second heaven where Satan has no rule or authority. Then she traveled back towards the earth. At least, from her writings I believe this is what she described. I have a Mormon sister in law who is a Christian. She actually got two members in my family to forgive one another for an offense. Not every Morman is unsaved. They may have some inaccurate beliefs but as long as the believe in the cross and Jesus shedding his blood for their sins, all else in unimportant to me. There are Catholics who have some wrong beliefs but many are still Christians. Their are people all over the world caught up in cults and don’t even know it, but that does not make everyone of them unsaved, or not hearing from the Lord. I went to Christian counseling years ago. They had a list of about 50 or more things to renounce. I did not even know what several were, but I did not want to take a chance I might be tied to something I should not be, so I renounced everything on the list. God spoke to me 40 years ago when he entered my bedroom. He revealed himself to me, who he is, his greatness. But one of the things he said to me was: “There are many wrong intrepretations to his word, but that is OK. His mercy covered it.” I probably believe many things that are wrong. But I believe Jesus died on the cross for my sins, he shed his blood for me. But some other things I believe may not be accurate. Does that make his words and teachings to me by revelation knowledge, divination. Some pastors say where I… Read more »

I believe Sarah Hoffman is alive. I saw a video of her speaking at a preparedness seminar in 2012, and she looked good for her age. She was a supporter of Mitt Romney when he ran. They are both Mormon.

Sarah tried to commit suiside in 1979, which is why she died. Her last name has changed.

All you have to do is type in “Sarah Hoffman prophecy 1979” and you will find many web sites, radio programs, that published or read the prophecy on-line, along with many videos, and other information. I think there may also be a book.

Although she had the vision in 1979, the first know dated copy of the vision was not posted until around 2002, I think.

This past weekend wasn’t pleasant for me because I’ve been praying for my wife who has become spiritually dead as a believer. God had me praying for her to be released from the Jezebel spirit which has invaded our churches.

After having some uncomfortable exchanges with her I remained silent and just prayed for her asking God if He wanted me to pray and fast for her because I had a recent dream reflecting the Jezebel spirit electing to leave so the oppression subsided.

I was led to Ezekiel 7 showing how my wife hasn’t responded rightly since the oppressive spirits have been limited. She has allowed her faith to be decimated with career success and the wicked who have surrounded her have influenced her ways so God has shown me it’s about to be addressed.

But the larger picture is for our country. The trumpet has been sounded and the message is no judgment hasn’t been called off. It has been advancing only that it has been slowed because of the prayers. But there are multitudes right in the church who have experienced the end times outpouring of the spirit with dreams and visions and yet haven’t turned from their wickedness.

This chapter shows God’s message that not only is it coming, but it’s arrived!

Shortly there will be something quite unusual to happen and the whole world will look at America knowing all heck is about to unfold.

Earnestly pray for endurance because even those of us who are God-minded our strength is coming to be put to the test during the very challenging times we are just about to witness.

I confirm this message! The Lord told me much the same thing in a message that He gave to me in July. He said “This is the last warning for America that you will receive from Me.
America this will be the last year that you celebrate “Independence Day”.
Before this time next year you will be under the heavy hand of oppression and tyranny. I have given you more time and it is now over.” The entire message can be found here http://holyspiritwind.blogspot.com/2016/07/america-you-are-going-down-for-last-time.html

Jeff, have you ever been told if after things get extremely bad, will things ever get any better again before the end of the age, or will it just be one downward spiral until the end? Just so much to take in, even after years of processing this.

Jeff Byerly

No Marie things will not go back to the way they are now before the end of the age. Things are not as they seem right now anyways, there is so much deception right now, everything looks fairly normal if you live in America, but it is far from the truth. Once “the Event” happens nothing will be the same.
That is Jesus’ bride’s time to shine! This is when we will do the greater works that Jesus spoke of almost 2000 years ago! This is the most exciting time in all of creation to live! The sons and daughters of God will be manifested! The harvest, miracles and healings WILL ASTOUND BILLIONS and they will come to know Jesus as their savior right a the very end!
THANK YOU JESUS HALLELUJAH!

Take heart, Marie. I have not been told what you are asking. But I have something to share that can lift your spirits. I received this while meditating on Romans 8:1–4 on Sept 12, 2016.

You have no idea about the glory that is reserved for the children of God. Nor do you have any idea of the kind of blessings in store for you in the life to come. And in comparison to all that, what you are experiencing now (or will experience) is nothing.

So endure, Marie. You’ll be more than glad you did.

The Revelation 12, star sign starts Nov/16/2016. Ends Sept/23 2017. An exact gestation period… Tons of info out there. I haven’t heard anyone bring it up. so I mention it in case you don’t know about it … Google it. Far more credible info than I dare present in a post. There are some views I don’t agree with.. But regardless. Its happening! And I know this post fits hand and glove with it. Do a recap of Revelations 12. Exciting times! I love God’s awesome great riddles and puzzles. He truely knows the end from the beggining! And he announces his truths before they manifest.

I am a bit on the fence about the Sep 23rd 2017 being the Rev 12 sign. One issue is the moon is not actually/strictly “under” Virgo’s feet, it is up to the side of her feet. The scripture is quite specific that the moon must be under the feet. Looked at the Greek word and it is definitely “under”. Surprised so many people just ignore that in their exuberance declaring that it is a perfect fit for the Rev 12 sign. Then there is the assumption that Jupiter is the biggest planet, so that must be like a king and so that must mean it stands for Jesus being born of Mary the virgin/Virgo, etc.

Like I said, on the fence, but details matter and can’t just be ignored. I have another source that seems to have gotten the Sep 23rd 2017 date outside of all the internet hype about the Virgo sign, so that made me take a second look since this source wasn’t aware of the Virgo speculation tied to that date.

I think that we should be seeing a number of other confirmations between now and that 2017 date.

I guess It is no different from the people who have gone to hell because of an accident or health issue, and Jesus rescued them out of it because he had an assignment for them. They completely turned their life over to him, and are being used mightIiIy for the Lord. I believe that people can get so tormented and driven to suicide that God is merciful, especially if they don’t know Jesus, or his word. Just recently my daughter Tara was on the verge of suicide, because of an adverse reaction to medication. She is a Christian, but had no control over her paranoia, and torment. If it had not been for the Lord, I believe she would have taken her life, because of no fault of her own. Her husband and daughters were finally able to get her to the hospital, but her husband said it was the worst battle he ever faced in his life. She was in the hospital for a week, while the medicine left her body. The medicine won’t be completely out of the receptors in her cells for up to six months. I don’t believe in all cases of suicide, that a person always goes to hell. Only God knows the pain and suffering a person goes through. In my case I went through such mental abuse it left me with partial amnesia. I went before a prophetess once and I was allowed to feel the emotional pain inside me to the point where I knew I was going to literally die. I did die in a since that part of my mind died. When ever a person says that God will not give you more than you can bare, I don’t believe it. I passed over that threshhold. I believe we are… Read more »

Sandra Tanner was a fifth-generation Mormon. She is the great-great-granddaughter of Brigham Young. He was the second president of the LDS church. Sandra did a tremendous amount of research on Joseph Smith and the Mormon religion. She was interviewed on The John Ankerberg show (late 70’s or early 80’s) and she reveals what she discovered. She left the Mormon religion and became a Christian. Later in her life (in another interview) she said that her mother became a Christian right before she died.

Peachy,

Wow, what a heartfelt answer from some very trying personal experiences….I wasn’t prepared for that at all. I surmise now, that it’s what you have gone thru during your life that gives you such an ability to connect with people thru your words….it’s kind of like listening to the wisdom of your grandparents while talking/sitting on the front porch. I was anticipating being directed to some additional info for her or biblical verses, but instead felt an emotional connection when reading your post.

Thank you for your response, I just started to do some internet searching on this topic. When I read Sarah’s prophetic word, that jumped out at me and again, it’s never even occurred to me to even question it before.

Blessings!
