“IT IS THE SPIRIT WHO GIVES LIFE [He is the Life-giver]; the flesh conveys no benefit whatever [there is no profit in it]. The words (truths) that I have been speaking to you are spirit and life.” John 6:63
While many people are running around chasing gifts, ministries and mantles the Holy Spirit is desiring to speak to the deepest places inside of each of our lives.
He is there to not only lead us into greater understanding of truth but to give each of us the life of God thereby bringing life to the deepest parts of our souls, but also quickening our physical bodies at the same time.
The Word of God is not just a accumulation of regular words and speech thrown together like an instruction manual, but when it is touched by the Holy Spirit of God becomes a Living Word in and of itself!
“FOR THE WORD THAT GOD SPEAKS IS ALIVE AND FULL OF POWER [making it active, operative, energizing, and effective]; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the [a]breath of life (soul) and [the immortal] spirit, and of joints and marrow [of the deepest parts of our nature], exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.” Hebrews 4:12
Many when they read the Word forget to invite the Holy Spirit into their reading time and as a result they seem to experience more death than life because the Word apart from the Presence of the Holy Spirit brings exactly that:
“[It is He] Who has qualified us [making us to be fit and worthy and sufficient] as ministers and dispensers of a new covenant [of salvation through Christ], NOT [MINISTERS] OF THE LETTER (of legally written code) BUT OF THE SPIRIT; FOR THE CODE [OF THE LAW] KILLS, BUT THE [HOLY] SPIRIT MAKES ALIVE.” 2 Corinthians 3:6
Jesus sent the Holy Spirit as His replacement, to Comfort Us, Renew Us, Teach Us, Transform Us and Lead us into the full knowledge of Who Jesus Christ is and Who He has called us to become in Him!
Holy Spirit is the carrier of the Life of God! He is the Life-giver Himself! He raised Jesus Christ from the dead (Romans 8:11), He is the One Who gave life to the Disciples (John 20:20) and He is the One Who has Come to Impart His Life to You this Morning!!!
This morning I saw the breath of God being released upon many of His people like never before and as the Holy Spirit was coming upon those people, He was bringing them new life, healing, restoration and renewal for the season ahead!
For some of you this morning, this may be your first encounter with the Holy Spirit, but it will be the first of many, while others of you (who have experienced Him Before) will begin to quickly accelerate into a place of maturity in Him that you’ve never been in before, whichever the case may be, He is Coming to touch your life and BRING YOU LIFE!!!
COME HOLY SPIRIT AND BREATHE UPON THESE SLAIN THAT THEY MAY LIVE (Ezekiel 37:9), THAT THEY MAY HAVE YOUR LIFE AND HAVE THAT LIFE IN GREAT ABUNDANCE IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME!!!
