Greetings to one and all in the mighty name of Yahushua, the Anointed One, and the only Messiah.
I have here some words that I received and noted down in my diary as I was having my quiet time with the Lord today, Jul 21, 2018. I did receive a tiny piece of it yesterday, but I did not know until my quiet time today that there was more.
My meditation passage for today was Psalms 40:4–5, but if you feel led to do so, for the purpose of the words I share below, I recommend that you read the first five verses of this psalm. Please pray about what I am sharing, and allow yourselves to be led by the Holy Spirit.
The Words
“There will be those who will witness to many and tell them of My mysteries and explain the truths of My Word to them. Then their eyes will be opened and they shall see, and then they will turn from their sins and fear the Lord, and in Him, they will put their trust.
They shall repent of the lies they have believed and shall no longer run after them. They shall abandon their idols and repent of all their wickedness. They shall turn to Me and repent in fear and trembling, and they shall put their trust in Me.
Yet there shall be many who will not repent of their lies; they shall continue to chase after their lies, and they shall follow the wicked lusts of their hearts. They will not turn to Me or repent of their wickedness. A remnant will repent, and the remnant shall be many, but even more shall be the numbers of those who will refuse the message of repentance and stubbornly cling to the lustful desires of their evil hearts, and therefore, to those evil desires shall they be given over that they may do what ought not to be done and thus reap the full measure of the sins they’ve so deeply loved and cherished.
None can understand My plans, and no one knows it all. Yet I have unto Myself a remnant, and these I shall call and refine and purify and make My people. They shall be My people, and I shall be their God.
In Me, those whom I call, those whom I purify and refine, those whom I make mine, in Me shall they find the fullness of their happiness, the completion of their joy, and the perfection of their peace, for only in Me are these found in their perfection and completeness. And though the fires of persecution shall burn hot, even hotter, and though the days of trouble shall come, even now they are here, and though the days shall grow increasingly evil and wicked, even now they are so, the peace, joy, and happiness that I shall fill My people with, even to the overflowing, shall not be taken away from them; it shall be their’s forever. They shall be filled and satisfied to the full, and they shall not seek for these outside of Me, for they will come to know the truth, and the truth shall set them free, and this is the truth: I AM THE TRUTH.
But the wicked shall not understand; they shall continue being wicked; even unto the end shall they continue to be so until their sins reach their full measure and the fullness of the penalty for their wickedness is poured out on them. And this is why it shall be poured out on them: For they repented not at the preaching of the message of repentance and refused the Lord’s call to return to Him and thus have proved themselves worthy of the judgment of the Most High.”

Author: Sujit Thomas
Sujit was working in Chennai in late 2015 when the Lord began to nudge him to draw closer to Him. That was the beginning of a major spiritual transformation in his life, and he has not looked back since. As someone who has experienced God’s undeserving love, grace, and mercy personally, Sujit would like people to know that the Lord has no pleasure in the death of the unrighteous, but would rather see them repent and live.
Here’s a link to help all those who are questioning the gift of tongues:
http://www.secretplaceministries.org/pages/articles/singing-in-tongues.html
Ray lists resources and articles at the end of the post.
One of the mysteries is speaking in tongues. Those of us who have the gift donot fully understand the power behind it. I have been praying all day in tongues many days to lift up all who need the Lord. I can definitely tell it has strengthened me for the battle.
Here is a question I received. There are many out there with the same question so here are the answers I have found.
“I would just ask you about whether speaking of tongues is mandatory for salvation (i.e. necessary sign of being baptized in The Holy Spirit) or just another gift of The Holy Spirit?”
There is the speaking in tongues as being filled as an evidence and then the gift of tongues. Here is a great explanation– mikeblume.com/drysd22a.htm title: ARGUMENT FROM 1 CORINTHIANS 12:30
So, I am going to answer your questions about the baptism a little or much different than you expect. First, tell you the Holy Spirit has been drawing me to the Lord for many years. I went to a standard Protestant church with no life of the Spirit and would visit other churches that believed in the Spirit like Assembly of God churches…
Then when I went to college I prayed with friends from the charismatic church I was attending and started speaking in tongues at age 19. It was a great experience. But I received no teaching about the true reason for tongues and the need to be responsible with the gift. Meaning I should not have ignored it or taken it for granted.
I do know two people who had the gift in their early years and do not have it any longer b/c they did not use it. We have to live holy lives and not just seek God’s gifts. Although, seeking gifts is a command as well.
The Bible commands us to be filled with the Spirit Eph 5:8. Ask the Lord to give you the desire to want to obey all His commands. In the gospels, Jesus commanded the disciples to wait for the Holy Spirit. “And behold, I am sending the promise of my Father upon you. But stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” Luke 24:49
As you see Jesus was not concerned about explaining doctrine to the disciples, they were walking out his commands. They did not have the book of Acts to read b/c they had not completed all the miracles that would occur through them.
What would the book of Acts read like without the Holy Spirit first coming?? Sounds like dull reading to me. We as Western Christians are stuck on understanding everything with our heads. We need to follow Jesus. This is experiential, meaning you have to live it. Understanding is important, but secondary to obeying.
Finally, Jesus was lead by the Spirit: “Then Jesus was led up by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.” Matt. 4:1 This is the beginning of His ministry. If He had to be led, we do too.
Here are some other points I will just list:
1 Satan cannot understand tongues.
2 The Holy Spirit will be praying through you for yourself and others when you pray in tongues
3 All scriptural commands are critical to follow,
4 You are “replaced” by the Lord when you are saved– you are a “little Christ”
5 The Lord knows your heart and that’s what he looks at to determine salvation
6 To walk out God’s commands we need his power, aka the Holy Spirit
7 To resist sin we need the Holy Spirit
8 To witness we need the Holy Spirit, when I pray in tongues God gives me ideas, commands and reminds me of important things I have forgotten. I also pray in tongues to myself when witnessing. Just like you can stream English through your mind , you can stream tongues if you have the gift as well.
9 If we believe we have to truly understand before we obey, then our pride is in the way and it needs to go now in Jesus name.
2 examples of music with tongues, one has singing in the spirit. I can sing tunes like Jesus loves me in a different language and the words repeat, but I do not know the language I am singing in.. They have determined some of the languages as earthly like in Acts, but some are heavenly, not earthly– lang. of angels….so cool!!

Finally. Troban’s testimony. He grew up not really liked at all, had several disabilities and now has a worldwide ministry. There are videos of him baptizing people, they get delivered and filled with the holy Spirit all in a matter of 10 minutes. Very exciting!!
He has many videos about the importance of speaking in tongues on the youtube channel: thelastreformation

God bless you all as you seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit and speak in tongues! In Him Marilee
It’s true, Marilee, that speaking in tongues is a mystery that is not supposed to analyzed and thought out by the natural mind. One of the reasons why I believe that it is so is because I believe God chooses to impress his truth and revelation upon us rather than prove them to us.
An impression is something that we know is true deep within even if the whole world disagrees with it. God’s impressions are noticed by those who remain like wet clay in His hands, but those who have become hardened clay cannot notice His impressions; they need proofs.
When we are like wet clay in God’s hands, any design that God impresses on us, we will know beyond a shadow of a doubt, without any need of proofs, that that design was of God. But when have become like hardened clay, unless God appears before us and shows us undeniable proof that the design we bear is of Him, we will not be able to believe that He is the origin of it.
I also believe that you are right when you say that understanding is important but is secondary to obedience. I’ve noticed in my personal life that it is when I step out in obedience to His voice that the understanding of what he is asking me to do and why follows.
This is so in line with the scripture that says that without faith (not, without understanding), it is impossible to please God. It is not that God does not want us to understand the truth. He wants us to believe the truth before we can understand it, and therein lies the great conflict between the natural mind and the spiritual mind.
I believe speaking in tongues is key to remaining like wet clay in God’s hands.
Sujit, 19 mysteries are truths that were unknown to the Jews but were revealed to Paul that became part of the New Covenant. Tongues does not have to be taken in blind faith but is a heavenly or unknown language used either in prayer or as one of the nine gifts of the Spirit used to edify, exhort or comfort the listener when interpreted in a church meeting.
Gustavus,
How do you get the number “19”?
I agree that speaking in tongues is not an exercise in blind faith. In a book that I’d read a while back, the author was having a talk with God about having faith in Him. The author asked God if having faith in Him meant being gullible (apparently that is what having faith in God looked like to the author). In reply, if I remember correctly, God said something along these lines: “Having faith in me is not gullibility. It is not a blind belief. That is not what faith in me is supposed to mean. It is confidence in me and knowing me.”
Sujit, Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. The more time you spend in the scriptures and with the Holy Spirit as you read your faith builds layer upon layer. I’m 76 and saved 40 years and both general experience and time in the word and listening to and reading good teachers and preachers grows your faith and I think this happens exponentially as in learning any area of study. Draw neigh to God and He draws neigh to you. The more time spent in the word one becomes aware that the Bible is pure gold and that every sentence can be trusted. Don’t forget one of Jesus’ names is the Word. If you want a great teacher get Finis Jennings Dake’s Annotated Reference Bible and his other books. In my opinion he could be the wisest man who ever lived. I can’t remember where in Dake’s books I saw his list of 18- 19 mysteries but just saw about eleven listed in my Bible’s limited concordance. GB
Beautiful scriptures, Gustavus! Romans 10:17 and James 4:8.
Thank you for explaining how you came to the understanding of the “19 mysteries.”
Sujit, I just found the list of the 18 Mysteries of Scripture in my Finis Dake Annotated Reference Bible: (1) The kingdom of heaven and the kingdom of God, Mt.13:11; (2) Israel’s blindness, Rom.11:25; (3) Salvation in Christ, Rom.16:25; (4) The wisdom of God, 1 Cor.2:7; (5) The doctrine of God, 1 Cor.4:1;Col.2:2; 1 Tim.3:16; (6) The gospel, Eph.6:19; (7) Gift of knowledge, 1 Cor.13:2; (8) Speaking in tongues, 1 Cor.14:2; (9) The rapture of the church, I Cor.15:23, 51-58; Jn.14:1-3; 1 Thes.4:13-16; (10) God’s will, Eph.1:9; (11) The church, Eph.3:1-9; 5:32; (12) Christ in men, Col.1:26-27; (13) Doctrines of Christ, Col.4:3; (14) Spirit of lawlessness, 2 Thes.2:7; (15) Faith of the gospel, 1 Tim.3:9; (16) Seven candlesticks, Rev.1:20; (17) God’s delay in casting out of Satan, Rev.10:7; 12:7-17; (18) Mystery of Babylon, Rev.17:5,7. Gr. musterion, found 27 times in the N.T. and not once in the O.T. GB
Thank you for sharing, Gustavus. There seem to definitely be a lot of things to discover in the Word of God.
Rick Wiles a few days ago spoke of speaking in tongues and then getting the poetic interpretation in English as well (he is not poetic himself). It was an end time prophecy.
Do you have a link to this, Marty?
Good word Sujit, also glad you mentioned here about getting rid of idols, people need to accept that idols come in many forms, like your football team, video games, TV, etc.
If you are spending all your time on these things they are idols. I have recently been ridding myself of idols and every time I do so I get a tremendous amount of peace… Also saving some money and making a bit of cash on ebay which I hope to bless someone with.
God Bless.
Hello Londoner, please how do you sell things on eBay? I have some stuff I want to get rid of to generate funds for my mission trip in December. Thank you for your response. God bless.
Its very straightforward you just open account for free on the site and list your item, upload a pic, write a brief description etc.
Indeed, Londoner. I agree. But it is not just things of the world that can become our idols. If not led by the Lord, even good things, biblical things, can become our idols. That is why it is important for us to be led by the Holy Spirit.
Here’s a testimony of one of the inmates I write to in prison. If anyone wants to do this I can explain how and what I send…It cost .20 an email to write to them. From Kevin:
I know how odd and difficult a decision it is to become a Christian. In my case, I lived a life where religion wasn’t something that we practiced, or even talked about. My only influence on religion was when I was about 6 and was living with my grandmother. I would go to church with her and my aunt every Sunday. But I had ulterior motives. We would go to a bakery and get donuts before church, when we got to church I would fall asleep during the sermon, and then we would go to a restaurant that I really liked afterwards. Once I moved out, around 7-8, I never had a religious influence. What made me finally make the decision to become a Christian was the church sermons I would attend once I got arrested, at the age of 22. When I went to the sermons I would actually listen. As a famous person once said, “You’re not truly listening unless you’re willing to be changed by the person speaking.” I was vulnerable and looking for direction when I got arrested. Listening to what the volunteers had to say changed me. I think that is something that is really important to how people view what Christianity is. If you don’t have the right person talking to you about Jesus, and the Bible, and God, you’re not going to be interested. The presentation can make or break a new Christian-seeker. If you can find a close friend or family member that is a Christian, you should try and start a Bible study with them, or even find someone from a local church and have some personal time with them to have Bible study an ask questions. Finding God has changed my life since I’ve been incarcerated. I’ve learned forgiveness, patience, and, best of all, love. God has always been there at times that I’ve needed Him. My situation is kind of a complicated one. It’s a situation where a lot of people would not be worried about finding God. I got arrested for a murder I did not commit. My life was threatened to partake in a home invasion/armed robbery that resulted in a man being killed, not by my hand. I didn’t even know the man was there. I had a shotgun pressed to my throat and was told I had to participate or I would die. I am now sentenced to 35 years in prison. God found me in my county jail cell. I hope you are able to find Him in a better place than I. God has let me know that even though we all make mistakes, we are still perfect. It doesn’t matter who we are, or what we look like, or what we’ve done. We are Gods children and He loves us. There is nothing that we can do to make God turn away from us. The only way God will leave us is if we leave Him. But He will always be where we left Him. It’s an amazing journey being a Christian. I hope you’re willing to step on the path of Christ. He won’t let you down. I promise.

Amen Sujit , there 71/2 billion people on the earth , only 1.25 billion claim JESUS , of those perhaps 10% have made JESUS LORD , and not just their salvation . The summer is almost over , the fields ripen , soon we will enter the Harvest , the Harvest is always a short season but it is where we fill our heavenly bank acct. Blessings
Brother John,
Salvation without subsequent sanctification is a dead salvation. Just as faith without works is dead, so also salvation without sanctification is dead.
Somebody needs to hear this. Therefore, whosoever has ears to hear, let him hear.
Thank you Sujit!
Brother Sujit…Repent, repent, repent…there has never been a truer word. I have found many want to compartmentalize sin. I have been told by Christians that lying is not a “big” sin like murder. Like we don’t need to repent from misleading words or false or half truths. Then I ask…should you repent from a sin that God hates? Most say yes…then I lay out Proverbs 6:16-19 which states 6 things God hates…three of them are of of the tongue…lying, false witness, and a person who stirs up controversy in a community…oh, and hands that shed innocent blood is a sin equal to lying. To know the Truth…you also have to speak the Truth. Amen Brother!
Amen, Scott.
What a powerful word! My spirit was really quickened. There will be NO excuses on judgement day. Those who love their sin and this wicked world and want nothing to do with repentance will get *exactly* what they want – eternal separation from their Creator and all that is holy and righteous. Many blessings!
Your word really spoke to me. Keep me in your prayers, just arrived in the Appalachian mountains and feel the Lord has put it on my heart to fast this week. We are doing construction work on a 5 day mission trip.
God Bless
I am praying for you, Todd. Your willingness to roll up your shirt sleeves and die to your self as a true servant right here on American soil speaks volumes to what a reflection of Christ’s glory you are. Fasting is a wonderful hedge-I will pray you are given supernatural strength to withstand the physical task of construction in the heat while you are weak and hungry. I know that being on the mission field makes one vulnerable to attacks from the enemy-I have experienced it firsthand. Nothing can touch you as you are covered in prayer, fasting, and the power of the Holy Spirit. One thing for sure, is the Lord will say something that sounds like this, “You, Todd Henderson, Come here by My right hand, you truly KNEW me. For I was hungry and you fed me, naked and you clothed me, thirsty and you gave me drink, homeless, and you gave me shelter, lost, and you preached the Good News of salvation to me. Well done, My good and faithful servant.” Fight the good fight, Brother- you are an example to us all. For if we have not love, we are nothing.
This brought tears to my eyes! Thank you so much. I am pushing on 2 more days your spoken word is exactly what I needed. 7 days with only water and I am digging deeply into the word constantly throughout the day. I have asked the for my oldest daughter to come to know Christ and for Him to surprise me. He knows what we truly need for our complete healing.
Once again thank you for this word of encouragement I have also fasted from my phone so I am not distracted. It has been cleared to me that I am on the edge on a major breakthrough and to push in.
God Bless
Todd, Wow, talk about a testament to His strength in your weakness! Praise Yeshua! I only did a 7day fast once and literally thought I was going to die! I can’t imagine also doing hard physical labor, I think I was in the fetal position by day 5! You are right, the breakthrough that long-term fasting produces will trample on serpents and scorpions, the ones that slither around your daughter and have kept her from the Truth, The Light, and the Way. Ill keep you and her in prayer. Press on, Brother!
This word is an on time word. After reading 1 Corinthians 2, this week, I begin to change my prayers, and I started to seek God for mysteries, that only handful of humans know on Earth, or to know something from God, He wants other humans to know, but because of their sin and stubbornness, no other human on the planet knows it.
I’m not talking about new revelation, but Heavenly knowledge, that was known by God’s people 1,000 years ago, but there isn’t any man on Earth today, or a handful (I know nothing about).
I’m talking about real mysteries, along the lines of 1 Cor 2. I hope this makes sense?
This absolutely resonates with my spirit, Matt. God bless and keep you.
Matt,
I’ve been following this site for a while, but this is only my 2nd attempt to post a comment. Months ago I commented about SPIRITUAL understanding versus “natural” (I.e. Literal) understanding, and although the comment was “under review”, it was not accepted. Nevertheless, as a servant who prays for all, I will attempt again to post a comment.
Paul starts getting “meaty” (as opposed to “milk”) in 1Cor2, and your eyes are certainly being opened to this fact. As he writes, “the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them for they are spiritually discerned.”
God’s Word is multilayered, with meaning upon deeper meaning. For some time, while talking to people, I’ve compared it to an onion. The outer layers of the onion look different than the innermost layers, but yet all of it is an onion. Few eat the outer layer of the onion, and just underneath the outer layer it is usually a bit greenish. You have to get INTO the onion to get the best tasting parts. According to Emmanuel Swedenborg, every WORD in God’s Word has first, an outer “natural (literal) meaning”; secondly, an inner “spiritual meaning”; and thirdly, an even deeper “celestial/heavenly meaning”. This is the reason Paul wrote what he did about the natural man not receiving the things of the Spirit of God.
Sadly, nowadays many don’t hear, let alone read, the Old Testament – they’re told that it no longer applies. This is a HUGE mistake, as the Old Testament provides the building blocks for everything Jesus taught in the New Testament. (I did not come to destroy the law, but to FULFILL the law!)
Using a very basic example about lambs, we can see what Swedenborg meant. When Jacob told Laban that he would take the spotted lambs, yes he literally let Laban have the unspotted lambs, while he kept the spotted ones – this is the “natural/literal” meaning. If we do not search deeper into this, we basically have the beginnings of a children’s story about two men and some sheep.
However, spiritually we discern deeper meaning – the unspotted lambs symbolize purity or perfection, while the spotted lambs are flawed or impure. This is a demonstration of Swedenborg’s recognition of an inner “spiritual” meaning – the subject matter has not changed, it
is still about sheep, but we know more about them. By the way, I have come to the understanding that there can be multiple spiritual meanings of a single verse or word, but as always, this must be discerned in the spirit.
Now, the next part is MUCH more nebulous, and that is the celestial or heavenly meaning, and regarding this, I BELIEVE, there is only one single meaning, and without a doubt, it MUST be given by the Spirit of God. In the case of the spotted lambs, I SPECULATE that they would symbolize unrepentant man; whereas one WHITE lamb would likely symbolize Christ; multiple WHITE lambs would likely symbolize redeemed man, washed in the blood of Christ.
Matt, there is so much more I could say, but it would just be a MAN speaking. Remember, seek our FATHER in all things (remember that Jesus told us how to pray, “Our Father…”). First and foremost, I ask Him for help in humbling myself, that I might hear his voice, and then, that I follow His words to me, that I follow His way, and not mine. I ask Him for help in discerning the voice of the adversary, because he is continually probing, trying to sway me in his direction. When I hear him (the adversary) I immediately rebuke him in Jesus’ name, and thank Him for this discernment. Remember that the adversary can speak to us in words, but more often it is through a negative thought or negative inspiration. For example, “Man, she is really hot!! (I’m happily married), or when someone annoys us, the temptation to shoot back with an inflammatory comment. The better we get at “passing” these everyday tests, and demonstrate to our Father our commitment to him through fervent, meaningful prayer, through love (both of Him and our fellow man), and far from least, through our actions (our “works”), the closer we develop our relationship to Him. It is through this closeness to Him that we develop our spiritual hearing and understanding, and this helps us to better follow the path that Christ blazes before us.
I wish you all the best, brother!
Tim
That is thought provoking. To think it might be possible there is something God may have shared with only one, two, or a handful of people (outside of Jesus), in the history of mankind, and this information, hasn’t been shared since, because, either, no one else is seeking God for this information, or God may have not found anyone trust worthy to receive this information. Take Enoch, he just might have been the only person in human history to see, what he saw, as a human. I would love to see what he saw.
The Bible says, “My people perish for the lack of knowledge.” Having heavenly knowledge of great magnitude would certainly put a big target on your back by the devil, but in the same token, do a lot of damage to satan’s kingdom.
Matt,
While I agree entirely with what you are saying about Father sharing (I prefer “revealing”; hence, “Revelation”, and the misconstrued word “Apocalypse” – look up the Greek meaning) certain things with a handful of chosen servants, and I will point out a few scriptures below, I prefer not to dwell on the topic. Rather, I simply prefer to do my best to serve Him by serving others each and every day to the best of my ability. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and I strongly believe that our actions (“works” or “deeds”) speak for us in the same way. (Romans 2:5-11; 2 Cor 5:9-10; but, by the same token, read Matt. 15:1-20).
I do believe there is very much hidden information in the Word. Read Luke 10:21-24, and pray for understanding. He was speaking to the returning 70 (some say 72), but was really speaking to the Father in front of them. WHY did Jesus say what he did?? Once again, I believe this is much of the “meat” of which Paul wrote in 1 Cor 4. Look into all the references to “hidden”, “veil/veiled”, even “the tent” (think about the true meaning of, “I’d rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, than to dwell in the TENTS of wickedness” – Psalm 84:10; according to Jesus, where is the kingdom of heaven (house of my God)??)
If you dig deeper, you’ll see that one of the books of the Word even means “hidden” – I’ll tell you, it is the book of Esther.
I do need to cut this off due to lack of time, worldly duties you know!! Interestingly you mentioned Enoch. I have been studying him for some time now, and I BELIEVE he plays a bigger role than we believe. Read Hebrews 11, especially verses 1-6; the writer, some say Paul (I am not so sure), speaks about “testifying” and “testimony”. Pray for discernment.
Gotta run,
Bless you, brother Matt and bless you all!
Tim
Bob Jones, Neville Johnson, Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj, Rick Joyner are a few who have become intimate enough to be called “friends” and hence received revelations (mysteries). Eg. Neville saw and heard the heart beat of GOD, it was powering the universe.
