On 12/31/2020 the Lord gave me a vision of a cat with a worm hanging on its face between its left ear and left eye. Then on 3/15/2021 I saw a vision of me standing in the kitchen saying “PROVIDENCE. PROVIDENCE.” Then Katie, my cat, came into the kitchen and said “MEOW”. End of visions.

The next day I looked up the word “providence” in the dictionary. It means “divine guidance or care”.

At the time I received the vision of a cat with a worm on its face, my Katie was perfectly healthy. But things took a turn for the worse when one side of her little face became swollen. Initially the vet thought she had an abscessed tooth, but that turned out to not be the case.

As time wore on, she stopped eating and her weight dropped precipitously from a healthy 9+ pounds to and emaciated 6 pounds. The vet said the reason she stopped eating was because her cheek was ulcerated and it hurt her to eat. He suspected cancer but wasn’t sure without subjecting her to invasive tests.

More time passed. Then her left eye became swollen and inflamed. This time the vet confirmed that it was cancer, which had started on her cheek but now it had spread to her eye. He said because she was no longer eating and had lost so much weight, her quality of life was poor. Then he urged me to put her down that very day but I took her home knowing that I had to seek the Lord.

That night I was absolutely grief stricken. I kept looking at the vet’s report. Then I would look at my poor cat’s inflamed eye, swollen cheek, and stick thin legs. What did the Lord want me to do? Was this Katie’s time to go? All I knew was that I was in crisis.

At one point I remembered a conversation I had with someone who cared for two of her sick relatives, right before they died. Not long afterwards, she learned that her father had cancer. I said we needed to trust in Jesus for her dad’s healing. She said “I know Jesus can heal my father. But the question is, will He?”

Well, I just couldn’t get her comment out of my mind. I kept asking myself, is Jesus willing to heal my cat?

The next day as I was reading Matthew 8, the answer to that question practically jumped off the page. That passage is about a leper who said to Jesus, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” 3Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I AM WILLING; be cleansed.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

So the answer to my friend’s question was a resounding YES, JESUS IS WILLING. That meant Jesus wanted to heal my little girl. It was right there in the Bible.

More time passed and Katie’s condition went from bad to worse. The night of 5/21/2021 was one of the hardest nights of my life. I asked the Lord what He wanted me to do to help Katie. Here was His response:

Vision #1: I saw me looking at the SHOES on a woman’s feet.
Vision #2: I saw a man putting on his SHOES.
Vision #3: I saw 2 COINS.

The shoes represented taking possession of something or occupying it, which is from RUTH 4:7. The fact that he showed me shoes twice is confirmation that His Word would soon come to pass (GENESIS 41:32). And the two coins or minas equated to authority, which is from MARK 13:34. All three visions taken together pointed to LUKE 19. The Lord was saying to me “OCCUPY TIL I COME”. In other words, He wanted me to use the spiritual authority that He had given me.

I woke up feeling so excited and hopeful. He was saying that Katie was going to live! I just needed to keep praying and fighting for her!

So armed with this new revelation, I was determined to fight for Katie. I knew that there had to be a spiritual component to her cancer because of the vision of the worm on the cat’s face. The fact that the enemy was attacking her eye was also significant. I suddenly remembered the Ammonites wanting to remove the right eyes of all the men of Jabesh Gilead in 1 SAMUEL 11. So this was clearly a spiritual battle and the stakes were high – the life of my precious little girl.

The Lord had given me spiritual weapons (bind, loose, decree, praise and worship), so I was going to use them. So I started binding the unclean spirits of infirmity, sickness, disease, cancer, blindness, ulceration, inflammation, pain, discomfort, and witchcraft coming against her. I broke all enemy assignments off of her. I cancelled all witchcraft, curses, incantations, spells and hexes coming against her. I decreed she was delivered from the evil one and that no weapon formed against would prosper. And I loosed life, health, healing, wholeness, and strength over her. I decreed that by His stripes, Katie was healed and made whole all over her body. And I did this all in the name of Jesus, of course.

Things actually appeared to get worse in the natural. Katie went completely blind and started walking into furniture and walls. She couldn’t find her litter box and for the first time ever she urinated on my kitchen floor and defecated in the living room.

Another time I noticed a particularly offensive odor emanating from her. Upon closer inspection, I found dried poo clinging to her long hair in her private area. So I just got my flashlight and scissors and cleaned her up.

When things looked entirely hopeless in the natural, I remembered the visions that the Lord had given me about Katie. On 5/18/2021, the Lord showed me a vision of Katie’s face and both her eyes looked perfectly normal. On 5/25/2021, I saw a vision of two perfectly normal blue eyes. Then I heard the Holy Spirit say “I WILL FIX IT.” End of visions.

That is what gave me the strength to keep believing in her healing – God’s Words and visions. So no matter how dire it looked, I kept repeating “By His stripes and in the name of Jesus, Katie’s healed and made whole”. I know the power of decreeing the Words of God. Doesn’t Job 22:28 say that “you will decree a thing and it will be established”?

When she stopped eating entirely, I force fed her with an eye dropper twice a day for 6 days. On day seven, I liquefied her food and put it in a bowl in front of her in preparation for filling up the eye dropper. Before I could do that, she started eating from her bowl on her own.

I literally broke down in tears of joy and started yelling “Thank you Jesus! Praise the Lord!” over and over. Now every time she eats on her own, I raise my hands in the air and praise and thank Jesus for His tender mercies over me and my cat.

And Jesus said to them, “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” They said to Him, “Yes, Lord.” 29Then He touched their eyes, saying, “ACCORDING TO YOUR FAITH LET IT BE TO YOU.” 30And their eyes were opened. And Jesus sternly warned them, saying, “See that no one knows it.”

LUKE 5:12 And it happened when He was in a certain city, that behold, a man who was full of leprosy saw Jesus; and he fell on his face and implored Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.” 13Then He put out His hand and touched him, saying, “I AM WILLING; BE CLEANSED.” Immediately the leprosy left him.

LUKE 8:49 While He was still speaking, someone came from the ruler of the synagogue’s house, saying to him, “Your daughter is dead. Do not trouble the Teacher.” 50But when Jesus heard it, He answered him, saying, “Do not be afraid; ONLY BELIEVE, AND SHE WILL BE MADE WELL.”

MARK 9:23 “IF YOU CAN BELIEVE, all things are possible to him who believes.”

MARK 5:34 And He said to her, “Daughter, YOUR FAITH HAS MADE YOU WELL. Go in peace, and be healed of your affliction.”

The Lord began drawing Dana to Him about six months before she was saved. By January of 2015, the urgency to make a decision about God was so strong, that it was all she could think about, but she was clueless how to even get saved. One day in her bedroom, she cried out to God telling him she really wanted to be saved, but she didn’t know how. Then she had the thought, maybe she could Google it. And that’s what she did. She found instructions on the Internet and said the Salvation prayer out loud.

In 2017 the Lord led her 600 miles away from her family, friends and home to a place she had never been and did not want to go – Missouri. Then in April of 2019 the Lord gave her a vision of a woman sitting at a desk, writing on paper. That’s when she knew He wanted her to write, but what on earth could she possibly write about? Then in July of 2020 the Lord gave her a vision of an eyebrow pencil outlining a woman’s eye. She interpreted that to mean “I OUTLINE”. And that is exactly what He did. And that’s how the Lord got her to pick up her pen.
