“I am so proud of you! Great is your reward, even in this life!”

There are so many things in life that we can be negative about! Everywhere you go people seem to be focusing on the negative! And in reality there are so many negative things happening all around us that cause fear and anxiety to grip your heart.

When I look around at what has happened in our lives over the years, I recognize that we have had many challenges and still do. But somehow within those challenges, I see how many miracles we have experienced! How far we have come!

Nobody really knows what it cost you to even get where you are now! And many will never know the story of just how much God and you have accomplished in His strength. But that’s okay! One day it will be seen by all, for God’s glory!

I know we all still have a long way to go, but God wants you to know today that you have come a lot further than you ever realized! And maybe sometimes you wonder, just when are you going to get that breakthrough that God has promised? But in looking for the BIG breakthrough, you are missing out on all the little ones!

I believe God wants to honor you today! I sense in my spirit that God wants your thinking to shift away from looking back and seeing those times you might have failed, or those seriously hectic times you never thought you would survive through, and even those times you should have been dead!

He is wanting you today to look at how far you have come, how many times He came through for you in that eleventh hour, how all those around you expected you to not make it, but miraculously you did, the times when people looked down on you, because they didn’t know better!

Others will want what you have, but are not prepared to pay the price you have paid. Suddenly, you will see those very same people wonder just how did you do it. God wants you to see those miracles and remember them, even now!

As you shift your thinking to those things, you will cause a gratefulness to rise up in your heart, and suddenly you will begin to see and experience the most treasured things imaginable!

You will know and tangibly feel, that you are SO loved! And you will daily experience the fruit of that love! You will see and experience that God specializes in doing the impossible, and that He doesn’t only do it for others, but RIGHT NOW He is doing it for you! Why? Simply because God absolutely adores you! He loves you more than any love you can ever imagine!

And He is saying, “I am so proud of you! You could have given up, but you chose not too! Great is your reward, even in this life!”

Thank you so much for this word, Angie! While reading, I experienced a perspective shift from despair to awareness of His love for me. I have been praying about something specific for about a month. I asked God today to “please, please, I need You to give me this…”. After reading your word, I understand my real need is to trust He will always provide and always protect me from getting the wants that are not what I need :).

Grace – giving me what I don’t deserve
Mercy – not giving me what I do deserve.

Thank you, Angie!!!

Thank you Jesus and thank you sister. I first noticed you from your post on the gathering in South Africa of God’s people this last April. Since then, I have been led to believe that American and South African Christians along with Christians from Europe and elsewhere have a mighty future together, whether we want it or not. As South Africa may become a land of refuge for Christians fleeing war, famine, lawlessness, and persecution. I say these things not to convince or persaude anyone to do anything or of the severity of judgement coming upon OUR people. I say these thinga as a witness to His glory. And if the need should arise perhaps a direction provided. One final thought. Are you familiar with Rodney Howard-Brown? And if so, he would appear to be a mighty man of God and valuable ally in ANY and all endeavors between America and South Africa.

For those of us/me who have been feeling pretty low lately, the best I can say is:
“I would to God these words were true”

Brother Steven just keep believing and trusting the Lord no matter what. He did warn that trouble would come, but fortunately for us as christians the Lord goes through it ( testing) with us to ensure that we get the victory in Jesus name!

Thank you Amina for reaching out and caring. I’ve been walking with God for over 30 years and there are definite peaks and valleys in the walk of a Christian. Tender Loving kindness, love and warm, seem to be a fading virtue even amongst the redeemed, so your little note was especially sweet and welcomed, Thank you again.

Brother remember that you have been give LIFE, full and eternal. It might sound hokey, but when I’m down I thank God for my salvation and for the salvations of my loved ones, and I try to keep in mind the temporary nature of this world. It will soon pass and in the blink of an eye we will be with Jesus. Your faithfulness through it all is building treasure for you in heaven. Praying for you today.

Thank you Sir Mike, I do those things you’ve said, I remember and thank God for His salvation of me almost daily. I do take the perspective that you mentioned, but as I age and realize my time may not be as long as I would wish, I sometimes reflect on my past wasted time and failures. I’m constantly measuring and contemplating the Judgment seat of Christ. Yet, I sing daily, witness and serve when I can. I’ve also traveled a number of places abroad and never lose the perspective of the immeasurable privilege of having been born and raised in the good old USA. The word posted here was just a glimpse of the love fest that will occur in Heaven at that day, and with the peaks and valley struggles of life and one’s own imperfections, (not that I have active major sins, I do not) I just feel keenly sensitive to the vast knowledge of what God has given and shown to me as opposed to the limited output that I have given Him. But thanks Bro for the caring, I await the resurrection with great hope and joy.

Angie, this post truly describes what my life has become over the last year. It is very very amazing. And no, I cannot explain how this has come about, except with the one word ‘surrender’ the alabaster box of my life. Thank you for sharing that word, to remind me of His wonderful life again. Be blessed!
