The great end-time harvest of souls is coming, but not by accident. Multitudes will be drawn to the light when they see the glory of God appearing upon His people (Isaiah 60:2-3).
They are going to see something different in us, something not of this world, the light of God, the wisdom of God, the knowledge of God in us.
The late prophet Bob Jones saw it coming:
“Wisdom is on her way. I believe it has started. In this one harvest He is talking about over one billion youth is getting ready to come in. They will only come in where wisdom dwells. Wisdom is looking for a place to move in down here now, and she is coming down here to take over the Father’s business, and where wisdom is reigning over the Father’s business, you are talking big numbers. And we are also talking about going worldwide.
I believe there is a remnant that is coming forth. I don’t believe they are very mature yet. But they are going to change. The change is taking place. I am telling you, wisdom has come to kiss her children and to justify them. I would put it this way, you haven’t seen anything yet.” (Source: 2012 Shepherd’s Rod)
Wisdom is looking for a place to move in down here! This is good news for anyone lacking in wisdom because wisdom is looking for us!
Three Keys to Wisdom:
After many days of crying out to God for wisdom, I received a dream on March 18 2016. In this dream, a person whom I could not see gave me three keys to wisdom and understanding. I was amazed by the depth of insights contained in each one and wanted to hear more, but when I woke up I could only remember the three keys, without any of the details. I was disappointed by that, but I believe it was only meant to illustrate how each of these keys contains a great depth of wisdom and understanding.
The first was the knowledge of the written word of God. The second was the knowledge of the power of the Holy Spirit. The third was the knowledge of practical, predictable patterns.
There is so much to learn about each of these keys we could learn forever and would always find more. The Apostle Paul said it this way: “Oh, the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways.” (Romans 11:33)
These three keys are like fountains of truth, safe places for us to drink and be filled with accurate knowledge and understanding. Beyond these, we have to be on guard when drinking from any other fountains because the world is polluted with poisonous lies at every turn.
I believe these keys were given in their order of priority and importance, not all on the same level. Knowledge of the written word of God is the most important, so it should be our highest priority. Next comes knowing the power of the Holy Spirit, understanding how He operates so we can be led by Him. However, I was surprised by the third one, the knowledge of practical predictable patterns, because after decades of church attendance I never once heard about it. We have focused so much on the first two keys we have ignored the third. I have been as guilty of this as anyone, but I believe there are many others like me, ignoring practical realities in pursuit of spiritual truths. After a while, we start looking like the guys in the weight room who only pump up their chest and arms while ignoring their legs. They end up looking like a science experiment gone wrong.
As believers, we tend to think we are walking in a higher level of wisdom than unbelievers. In many ways we are because the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, but the children of darkness often have greater practical wisdom than the children of light because they have pursued it more than we have. As a result, they have often benefited from it more than we have, as demonstrated by their greater wealth and sometimes even better health.
Perhaps one reason why believers have neglected practical knowledge is because it doesn’t sound spiritual enough, but that is a mistake because we are not just spiritual beings. We are made up of three parts, spirit, soul, and body, so we need wisdom for all three areas. Granted, spiritual training has great eternal value, but to fulfill our God-given assignments we must also know how to take care of our bodies and our souls. God wants us to prosper in every way, including our health and our soul (3 John 1:2). To do that, we need to understand practical patterns about how the world around us is designed to work, which includes not only our body, but also the whole world. We have a lot to learn!
Bob Jones saw a greater measure of practical wisdom coming upon end-time believers. He shared this word:
“The word of knowledge is really good and it is not going to stop, but we are getting ready for the word of wisdom. The word of wisdom will come not only to tell you the future, but it will tell you how to avoid needing to be healed. The wisdom of God is getting ready to be released and you will know what decisions you need to make for the future, what you should be saving and what you should not be saving, where you should be. So he is looking for people who will let the word of wisdom come and dwell in their spirit.
I have seen very little of the word of wisdom. I have seen it a few times, but we are getting ready for it to be released. With that there will not only be miraculous healings but there will be the miracles. I have seen strokes and things like that healed, but with the word of wisdom you know how to stay healed. You will know what decisions to make for tomorrow.” (Source: 2012 Shepherd’s Rod)
Everything God made operates according to practical predictable patterns, so the more we learn about them, the more we learn about Him. We find them operating in our physical bodies, with cycles of sleeping and waking, eating and digesting, growing, aging, living and dying. We find them in the planets and stars, which move throughout the universe with such amazing precision scientists can accurately predict the exact time of solar eclipses, lunar eclipses, and tide movements many years in advance. Each day is an example of a predictable repeating pattern consisting of evening and morning, sunrise and sunset. The four seasons are also predictable repeating patterns. Predictable patterns are all around us.
The Wisdom of Solomon:
One of the wisest men who ever lived, King Solomon, discovered everything under heaven follows a predictable pattern. He said there is a time for everything and for every event under heaven (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8). The Hebrew word used in this verse is zeman, which means “an appointed time, a season, a set time.” So in other words, Solomon said everything that happens under heaven, EVERYTHING, happens at a set time, an appointed time, exactly when it is supposed to happen just as predictable as fall, winter, spring, and summer. I did not say that. He did!
After dropping that bombshell, he gives a few examples, including major events like war and peace, but also events from our personal life, such as the time we are born, the time we die, the time we weep, the time we laugh, the time we are silent, the time we speak, and many other examples. We can add lots of other examples to this list because he already said it includes everything!
This is a mind-boggling truth that gets very deep very fast and quickly goes beyond our ability to understand how it could be possible, but the point is we should all be paying closer attention to the practical patterns around us because everything in this life operates by them. We cannot expect to walk in the fullness of light God wants us to have if we ignore this truth.
History Reveals Practical Wisdom:
Amazingly, even history follows predictable patterns. This is not a weird new idea, just an awakening to the reality that has been there all along. The more we study history, the more we realize it is His story. It is a valuable source of irrefutable truth because it has already happened.
It is hard to explain why historical events occur in cycles, but they are real and precise. We don’t have to understand them to benefit from them. They can help us understand the time we are living in and what to expect in the future.
Like other patterns, historical cycles operate all around us all the time. They have been discovered in all sorts of areas including wars, empires, the stock market, real estate, climate, civil unrest, fashion, and on and on. This knowledge has enabled people to make accurate predictions of the future.
Some people have devoted their lives to studying these things and have been able to use their findings to accurately predict future events. For example, Martin Armstrong developed forecasting models based on historical cycles that have proven to be so accurate the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) prosecuted him in 1999 (Source: Wikipedia) on charges of fraud, but some say they were really just trying to confiscate his proprietary forecasting methods. When he refused to give it to them, he was charged with obstruction of justice and put in prison.
The same thing happened to Russian scientist Alexander Chizhevsky. His discovery of eleven-year solar cycles and their impact of the earth’s climate and all biological entities landed him in prison. Soviet leader Joseph Stalin demanded Chizhevsky retract his theory on solar cycles because it contradicted Soviet theories for the Russian revolutions. When he refused, he was arrested and spent eight years in a forced labor camp from 1942 to 1950 (Source: Wikipedia).
The Rothschild family, which is one of the wealthiest families in the world, has been using their knowledge of historical trends and cycles for hundreds of years to be more successful with their investments, enabling them to amass great wealth for themselves, which they have used to gain control over international money markets (Source: Secrets of the Federal Reserve, page 48, Bibliotecapleyades.net). They have no interest in advancing God’s kingdom, only their own kingdom, which makes them pawns in the hands of Satan. They are one of the primary financial supporters of the spirit of antichrist, also known as the new world order.
Why should the children of darkness have greater insights into historical cycles than the children of light? If they can accomplish great things using only practical predictable patterns, imagine what we can do with all three keys!
Finding the Right Balance:
God wants us to be able to properly recognize the times we are living in based on historical events, but there are limits to how far we can go with this kind of knowledge because He never wants us to stop relying on Him, which is why practical wisdom is ranked third on the list.
Jesus told us specific events to watch for as signs letting us know when the time of His return is near. He described a convergence of multiple events, which He called birth pangs, including false messiahs, wars, pestilence, famines, earthquakes, and persecution (Matthew 24:4-34). He told us to watch for these signs because He wanted us to be able to recognize the season of His return. He even rebuked those who could accurately predict the weather by the appearance of the sky, but could not recognize the signs of the times they were living in (Matthew 16:2-3). He wept over Jerusalem because they failed to recognize the time of their visitation from God (Luke 19:41-44). He also commanded to be on the alert, fully awake and sober, knowing what time it is (Luke 21:36, 1 Thessalonians 5:5-6).
Knowing our carnal nature, God withholds from us the knowledge of the timing of some events, which He has fixed, because He wants us to rely on the power of His Holy Spirit. For example, after Jesus was raised from the dead, the disciples asked Him to reveal the times, but instead He told them He was giving them the power of the Holy Spirit.
6 So when they had come together, they were asking Him, saying, “Lord, is it at this time You are restoring the kingdom to Israel?”
7 He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or epochs which the Father has fixed by His own authority;
8 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.” (Acts 1:6-8)
The disciples wanted to know the time of His return, but were not allowed. So while most historical events follow predictable patterns determined by human interaction, other events have been set at a fixed time, determined only by God the Father, by His own authority and not by any man. The Father has withheld the knowledge of the exact timing of the Lord’s return, even from the Lord Jesus, because He wants us to be ready at all times (Matthew 24:32-36). He does this for our own good because if we knew the exact day of the Lord’s return many of us would live like heathens until the day before He returns. We would not learn to trust Him or know Him like we should. We would enter into eternity with no rewards for our service here.
The world is now entering into a time of unprecedented trouble as the birth pangs intensify leading up to the great tribulation. God is giving greater wisdom to help us navigate through these times. As Bob Jones stated, God “is looking for people who will let the word of wisdom come and dwell in their spirit.” Those who do can expect to receive insights so they know what to do every step of the way.
I believe this end-time generation is going to tap into the wisdom of God like no previous generation has ever done, with insights that will enable us to know the times and the seasons with such clarity that nothing will catch us by surprise (Proverbs 22:3). We will even know what is going to happen before it happens. We’re finally going to operate at full power in all three areas, the knowledge of the word of God, the knowledge of the power of the Holy Spirit, and the knowledge of practical patterns and precedents.
We’re going to need all of them to complete our assignments. The eternal future of a great multitude is counting on us!
