“You are the God who sees me.”(Genesis 16:13)
How incredible is that! GOD sees YOU! He doesn’t see the “face” you present to the world. He SEES our pain, our heartbreak, our shortcomings, our needs….and He sees the beautiful masterpiece He made. He sees His precious child. He sees all that you are and all that you will be. When hardly anyone else sees the “real” you, God does!
The next time you’re feeling weary, the next time you feel alone, or think you must be invisible, or feel overwhelmed by all that’s happening in your life….. remember that God really SEES you. And He knows the deepest cry of your heart! He SEES you as the beautiful creation He made, and He will give you EVERYTHING you need!
No matter how dark the day, how deep the pit, how hectic the situation, God sees YOU!! He is making a way for YOU, where there seems to be no way! Opening doors for YOU that no man can shut! Releasing to YOU the riches of His glory! He SEES the challenges you face! And He WILL fight for YOU! He WILL send the provision you need to get through each day! Your bank might be in a minus! But in a MOMENT, God can release exactly what you need and even more!
Friends, He has NOT forgotten us! He is not taken by surprise by what’s happening in your life this very moment! How? Because He really SEES you! And loves you more than you could EVER imagine!
God showed me the scripture I typed above, this morning! And it has DEEPLY touched my heart today, and is ministering to my heart! As we truly meditate on what this really means in each of our lives! Let Him minister to the deepest core of your being! Knowing this, that the God Who created you, who knit you together, whose eyes SAW your unformed body, before you were born! STILL SEES YOU….!
This Truth in His Word, will blow your mind! Just check this out in Psalm 139 in The New Living Translation Bible -(I added capital letters, for the purpose of really seeing what God is saying…)
“O Lord, you have examined my heart and know everything about me.
You know when I sit down or stand up.
You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
You SEE me when I travel
and when I rest at home.
You know everything I do.
You know what I am going to say, even before I say it, Lord.
You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too great for me to understand!
I can never escape from your Spirit!
I can never get away from your presence!
If I go up to heaven, you are THERE; if I go down to the grave, you are THERE.
If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even THERE your hand will guide me,
and your strength will support me.
I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night—but even in darkness I cannot hide from you.
To you the night shines as bright as day.
Darkness and light are the same to you.
You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body
and knit me together in my mother’s womb.
Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex!
Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.
You WATCHED me as I was being formed in utter seclusion, as I was woven together in the dark of the womb.
You SAW me before I was born.
Every day of my life was recorded in your book.
Every moment was laid out
before a single day had passed….”
This Psalm says SO much more than I can say about just how much He SEES you and is WATCHING you, and that we can go nowhere, or go through ANYTHING without His presence being right there!
Today God is wanting you and I to know and understand, that He truly does SEE the “real” YOU!! That maybe no one else sees, and He KNOWS your precious heart, and He loves and adores you, and will do all that He has promised in your life…..Cause He SEES you….!
El Roi” is also one of the names of God, and it means, “the God Who sees me….” Isn’t that just incredible… 🙌🏼❤
