New Zealand Pentecostal Pastor Neville Johnson suddenly died on September 1, 2019.
Neville was born in the UK in 1940, but became a resident of New Zealand. He had a strong prophetic gift, which he shared through The Academy of Light, which he founded. The Academy published a quarterly newsletter. He also ran the Living Word Foundation from Australia.
His son posted the following announcement on their website.
On Sunday, the 1st of September 2019, Neville (my dad) passed away peacefully after a very short and aggressive illness. Neville found great strength in his faith and relationship with the Lord throughout. Dad and mum faithfully served the Lord for over 50 years. Dads’ earthly ministry has come to an end but his heavenly ministry has just begun.
I have spent time with the Lord in reflection of the sudden loss of dad and remember him with such love and admiration. I will be moving into a more active role in the ministry. My hope is to be effective for the Lord in these end times by spreading the Word of God so He may equips us all.
The Academy of Light school ‘Moving Further with the Lord’ will be run as planned for February 2020 with Bruce Allen, Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj, Jo Sweet, and Andy Tiplady teaching. An additional speaker is yet to be confirmed. We will provide an update when finalised on the information page. We are looking forward to what God has for the attendees.
Our family would like to thank people for their words of sympathy and kindness; as well as their prayers for strength and comfort. We request any condolences be sent to Johnson.family@theacademy.org.au so these can be easily collated for our family to read.
As a private and humble man, Neville’s committal service will be conducted with family and close friends as per his wishes. We understand peoples need to gather in times such as this so we encourage you to seek support from God and those around you.

I was 12 years old and attended the Christs Ambassadors Youth Group. We had many wonderful times at this church and made many good friends

suddenly remember what pastor neville johnson taught message on numbers 10 –

and feast of tabernacle, the new /next stage we church are going to enter into is the stage to tabernacle , church was in the Pentecostal stage for a long long time, we are going to enter into the new /next stage, he keep talking about transfiguration in conference meetings , (since 2016 and beyond) , the church era ended , we are going into kingdom of God era.
his teachings are very prophetic and deep , beyond human understanding. only with Holy spirit we could understand.

In 1998 seven years ago I had a dream in which a calendar was ticking over in years and it stopped at the fourteenth year. Recently the Lord repeated this dream to me again. I pondered this at the same time asking the Lord what it was all about.
The Lord then gave me a new 14 year mandate for my life pointing out to me that I had been in fulltime ministry for 5 x7 years 35 years and that he was commissioning me to a special period of 2 x 7 years, 14 years. The next 14 years will be the most important years for the church since the birth of Jesus.”
This year is 14 years. Remarkable. Also, he’s had 7×7 years of ministry according to this.

Sarah, thank you for posting this….Neville was one of my mentors and somehow I had missed this 14 year period ending in 2019. For those of you who were not acquainted with Neville I submit a sample of his teaching given in Sydney in 2016. I can assure all that Neville is not sitting in a porch swing in his new mansion. I picture him on a white horse leading a contingent of the Lord’s Army as they battle in the heavens on our behalf. Paul taught us that the Church on Earth and the Church in Heaven is one Church. My wife and I are booked to a conference in Australia that Neville was hosting. I don’t know how the Lord will fill the vacuum, but He is able. I really miss him.

Thanks. I was gently nudged to listen to him speak. A lot of the things he said is echoing of the teachings on his site. I’m going to be extremely transparent here and I hope I am not speaking ill.
– I would not be listening (much) to this gentleman at all if it weren’t for some of the things he said being “confirmations”, so to speak, of what I learned in my own prayers/scripture reading. A lot of what he says references his personal experiences. As much as I enjoy a “good story” (I apologise..so sorry, but I’m being transparent)…as much as I enjoy a good story, it is not the same as experiencing and learning from the Holy Spirit firsthand. He talked about hearing from Enoch about something, for instance. I am not trying to boast, but if it weren’t for learning these things *on my own*(but not really on my own – you know what I mean – and dreadfully honestly and to my shame, I have to be reminded again at times), I would…look..-sigh- I would disregard.
I was told once, for instance, that there will be poor people in Heaven in my prayer time. I have also been strongly urged if the necessity of keeping my heart and mind on the Lord, clinging to Him because He is our life. This is all in the scripture. “The main thing” as he said is truly “the main thing”, but these things..I don’t know. What was the point in him talking about these angels he saw? Forgive me for saying this but I am not really interested in that. It is distracting. I am not interested in personalities, no matter how wonderful they are. I want to know *HIM*. This has been a driving *drive* in myself and I am no one. I almost never tell people the things I may have “heard” in my prayers, because I never want to make it about me. Sometimes, I only say the things that are “negative” about me. He certainly does not mollycoddle, but if I were to tell of times I feel..see..alarm bells. Can’t go further.
If I am told to speak, then and only then must I do so. I cringe when people make frequent reference to their experiences. I don’t want to disparage this man. I don’t know his heart, and he may well have been told by the Lord to do so. This is just me..as raw and flawed and desperate and completely in need of God’s mercy and grace every moment, even as I type this and feel that I could cry as it pains my heart. And I almost daily experience pains in my heart over various things. Because I am never satisfied. And that is because it is only Him I desire and no one else can fill that. I want more and more and more.. lije a baby bird..which is at least an amusing analogy. So, it makes me feel a little..-sighing- ..when others talk about their experiences, and it’s not that I want those experiences. It’s that..even they aren’t enough. It is weird.
. In terms of prophetic words and teachings, I (and it would apply to all of us) am supposed to bring them to the Lord and ask personally or else what happens sometimes is that the Enemy can take even good and true words (as he does with scripture) and twist *even them* up. So, it’s not even always that the word or teaching is wrong, but sometimes the filters we have by which we understand and interpret can be faulty. Sometimes, I have read things and just said a quick obligatory prayer. But that is *not enough*. So, I try not to anymore and if I’m not prepared to pray properly over things, then it’s better not to read them at all. And that goes the same with teachings or anything at all and I am still not perfect by any means.
I don’t know sometimes about these things, but I know I was nudged to listen to him speak. In the last days, it says that the Spirit of the Lord will be poured out. I know that most of what he says is true, because it lines up with the Word.
I just..strange. Strangeness.
If this is his end of the 7×7 of his ministry, it means that something new is going to happen. Maybe his purpose was to prepare “the remnant”, so to speak. We shall see.

Sarah I cannot address everything you tried to express but I can give you my perspective. About 15 yrs ago we shared a tape set with a couple who were fairly new to our home church. It was Nita Johnson sharing about her experiences in heaven. The couple totally rejected the teachings and said “why do we need to know about heaven now why we are on earth?” My response was because Jesus taught His disciples to pray “Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven”. Doesn’t it behoove us to know what we are trying to bring down to earth? Would we even recognize heaven on earth if we had no knowledge concerning it? What Neville provoked in me was that it is possible to have a one on one relationship with our Lord as a friend who is closer than a brother. His stories were meant to teach us the ways of the Lord. For instance, “tell my people that they can dwell in my garden when I can dwell in theirs”, directly correlating to “he who has clean hands and a pure heart”. I don’t remember what he said in the video about Enoch but I know Enoch came to him many times and
taught him. Neville said that Enoch is the happiest man he has ever met. I’ll close with the 2 angels he mentioned. They were the same angels that were with Lot at Sodom and Gomorrah. They were there as Sydney had crossed the same line of sin and Neville was prophesying that judgement was now certain.
Neville frequently saw his deceased daughter who was always busy on a mission fulfilling the LORD’s will (like taking the children off of a plane that was going to be crashed). You are correct in stating that Neville will (probably) not be sitting on a porch swing in this new mansion. He sometimes would describe (while in Lancaster) some of the dwellings,some call mansions, of people in heaven.

On earth we suffer pain and loss, put now he is singing to the Lord, jumping up and down, sitting on a great Throne in Heaven ruling with our Beloved Jesus for eternity.
His words, his spiritual insights, his prayers for the end time harvest will not fall to the ground, but seeds were planted in millions of people all over the world and they will bloom and blossom, they will rise up and become the warriors Prophet Neville Johnson proclaimed and taught us to be!!!
Seeds God will water, teachings people will listen to now and in future generations will adhere too.
He has left a legacy of Love, intimacy with Jesus, connecting with The Most High, revealing things of Heaven to stir a jealousy to seek higher, seek Jesus, and open doors to step through in to the most Holy places. He has shown humility, love, grace and mercy, he has left a legacy many will hunger after, hunger for more and more of God!!!!
As a King now in Heaven, he taught many here, opened doors, opened gateways, and revealed the Blessed Love of Jesus and the Fathet for all humanity.
What a beloved man we are blessed to have had in our lives for the time he was here on earth. May God richly bless you!!
You are young now Prophet Johnson, you are receiving your rewards and dancing with your daughter in Heaven and praying over all of us here on earth to come up higher!!!!

in heaven, people ‘s clothing – although it is a white garment, some people might have precious stone on the white garment, some don’t,

i think what most impressive things of pastor Neville Johnson is that he always taught us to pursue to conform to Christ Likeness. yes, pastor Neville has strong prophetic gifting and anointing, and incredible spiritual experiences. but his main thing is to imitate Christ,. to cultivate the character of Christ in our life.

Indeed, shocking news as his grandfather preached during the great Welsh Revival and was thinking Pastor Neville would have played a huge role in last days harvest.

the day he passed away is 1st day of month elul. , jewish calendar the first day of 40 day teshuvah, it has some spiritual significance, i am not prophetic , so do not know the deep meaning.
pastor Neville Johnson said something like this ,
if we fail to hear God’ Words and we fail to do as He instructs, it will cost us rank and position in the age to come.

My children and I always were so blessed when we listen to his sermons. My son Abraham listened to the sermon where he passed the Billy Graham anointing to listeners online. Oh how we will miss this blessed man of God. His teachings touched my family’s life. The Johnson family and the entire congregation are in our prayers.
Now that is someone who fulfilled his mission on earth. Was truly blessed by his teachings at the annual Lancaster conference
