Whist the talk of Donald Trump being impeached continues and prophecies of the return of Barack Obama keep coming, Australians have woken up today to news of another leadership spill in government. Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull’s Cabinet has lost confidence in his leadership. Peter Dutton has made his move, believing he had enough support to take the helm. Now, apparently Scott Morrison is going to oppose him and make a run for PM himself. Cabinet Ministers are resigning left, right and centre. A truly pathetic state of affairs.
I am going to allow the wicked to have their vote. But My purpose is to get the Church to wake up and get on their knees. I am after a national repentance here in Australia. From the government leaders right down. Penny Wong will be disgraced, discredited. I am going to expose her and those like her. The Greens who have pushed for same sex marriage will suffer great losses. For a time, Australia will be without a true leader. Indeed, she has been without Godly leadership for a long time. But I am going to wake up those who do believe in Me, the stalwarts. I am speaking to these, the Tony Abbotts of government.

She gave her heart to the Lord in the early seventies at age twelve. Six years ago, the Lord drew her aside, out of church involvement and other activities to wait on Him in the quietness of home. An awakening occurred, and an intimacy with the Lord that had been missing. Prophetic words and some dreams about what was coming to America began to come. As an Aussie, it seemed odd that the calling was not to prophecy over her own nation, but she believes the focus will change at some point. Alison has a heart to be used in the final harvest, encouraging those using their gifts in all walks of life, for prayer ministry and in urging all to prepare for what coming.

Yes and amen. Lord please bring many Australians to repentance!!
After I heard on the news that it looked like Scott Morrison would be next PM, I spent some more time before the Lord to see what He would say.
And this is whate He said:
“The day is long, much can still happen in this day. Scott is a man who knows Me. But alas for him, he has walked in much compromise to get where he is. Unless there is repentance and humility, I can not honor him. He must honor Me in ALL things. To whom much is given much is expected.
Although there has been a defeat shown in numbers, they will not stop trying to adjust the numbers and play the game that they play constantly in the halls of power. The leadership challenge is not over. And I am looking for one man, just one man who will stand up and honor Me in all things. Such a man as this, I can use to do great things in My Kingdom. Mans’ kingdom is coming to an end.”
My response to this is to pray for Scott Morrison, that he is humbled and repentant and will come to honor God in all things. I would not wish to be in his shoes if he does not. Remembering that judgement comes first to the church.
Hi Alison,
Scott Morrison actually voted for Same Sex Marriage so I was far from happy with the result today. Yes I will pray for him. I am just happy Malcolm and Turncoat and J Bishop are no longer in control. That is a blessing and opportunity for Australia. Turnbull has been very weak on issues that affect Christians . All talk.no action.
Best regards Philip
This is Australias’ new Prime Minister, praying for Indonesian leader Widodo, and for our farmers who are suffering drought. We have a praying Christian leader!. Praise God! Simple prayers, granted, but prayer to our heavenly Father nevertheless. Historic! Wonderful!

Thank you for this timely word, Alison. I was praying about this situation last night (after “stumbling across” your previous word from late last year, part of which you’ve quoted here), and it suddenly hit me – it’s been 9 months since the vote. The gestation period of a human baby. Somehow, I don’t think that’s a coincidence.
When I read your comment about Penny Wong being leader of the opposition I went and checked (thinking of Bill Shorten and wondering if he’s been ousted in the last day or so – it really is that crazy at the moment) only to discover she is the current leader in the Senate, a higher position than I’d assumed she had.
I will keep praying, as I’m sure will many others.
Shalom and blessings,
Christina
Peter dutton’s was seriously damaged overnight. Peter is a right winger which the left wing despise. I hope he is successful. The left are deeply anti Christian and are controlling way too much in Australia. Violence is often used against ACL and other Christian groups, please pray

Peter duttons OFFICE was damaged
I only knew in a vague sort of way that there were leadrship problems in Australia then this afternoon I felt that the Lord wanted me to pray for the countries of the world and when I got the world map out He said to pray for Australia and New Zealand which I did.Not knowing what was happening I prayed for the Lord to raise up a Godly leader in Australia. Then later I heard the news that Scott Morrison was the new leader or looked like being. Now I have come to z3 news and read your post.It is wonderful how God guides us.
Sorry. But as an Australian i strongly disagree with some parts of this post.
The Stalwarts who voted no
to same sex marriage were
Bob Katter (independent)
Russell Broadbent (Liberal)
Keith Pitt (Nationals)
David Littleproud (Nationals)
Not P2 Lodge Jesuit
Abbott and Now PM Scott Morrison
a Hill Song Member who abstained from
voting. which is the same as denying the faith or not standing up for it by remaining silent.
Paul, you are free to agre or disagree as you like, but perhaps you should read it again. The word has nothing to do with who voted for what. God looks at the heart and He knows where each ones heart is. What God said is that He was “going to wake up” such people as Tony Abbott. It says nothing about what they have or have not done. I pray earnestly that He will wake up Scott Morrison. And Bob Katter and the others you mentioned because although they did not support SSM, I have seen nothing in them to suggest that they are not in need of waking up to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Have felt to pray for our nation more lately in our family prayer night with my 2 adult sons; pledging in unity with all intercessors over Australia. Here again, Lord we submit your kingship and lordship over all and every spiritual and physical authorities over Australia..in your mighty name Yeshua! Amen! Thanks Alison for your updates!
Great word in season. Just one minor little point. Penny Wong is a leading figure in the opposition Labor party in the Senate. The Leader of the Opposition (in the House of Representatives) is Bill Shorten – who also needs God! Scott Morrison is a Christian – who I once saw as a potential PM – but has lost a lot of credibility for failing to stand up to the Prime Minister. Anyway, keep up the great work.
Thanks Peter. Yes Penny Wong is in the opposition. I believe the Lord is speaking about the whole Governmental body here, not just the party in power. I dont know what she has been up to aside from the obvious but the Lord has said He is going to expose her. I just found out yesterday that Scott Morrison is a Christian. He certainly does not seem to have conducted himself well in this whole affair. Personally, I think any Christian who has been promoted in the Govt. system has compromised in their walk simply because the very system is corrupt. To get anywhere you must curry favour with men.
Hi Rick
Im moving to Armadale next year if my plans go right.
Re Scott –
He is ex Hillsong; a good friend of Houston – strike one
He presided over the bank bail in laws – strike 2
I am praying that he will be as great as Abbot was. Abbot had his faults but many Australians have TDS about him.
At least he had a reasonably moral outlook unlike most of his peers
