God has been giving me several messages.
I previously saw the demonic stronghold Athaliah rising from the sea. In the Bible, Athaliah is the daughter of Jezebel. Like Jezebel, she persecuted the people of God and killed them, setting herself up as queen over the land, her reign of terror.
God showed me that Athaliah has walked to the governmental seat of power in the nation. I saw her stately and beautiful as a queen. She held up her hands, spiritual strings were running from her palms to the police force, the army, etc., showing that she was the puppet master controlling the police and military.
I saw the exodus of believers leaving a map of the land in disparate streams. Their faces looked sad, ashen and gray. I knew that the Christian remnant did not want to leave spiritual Babylon as it was their familiar place until they knew that they absolutely had to, as staying on would mean certain death. Each of them carried a small rucksack on his back. Inside the rucksack was a few pieces of spiritual meat. Whatever spiritual meat that they had stored up to now they can take away for the journey.
When they left spiritual Babylon, they went immediately into the wilderness, led by the Holy Spirit. The wilderness was a tough, harsh and unfamiliar terrain. As a result many did not survive to reach the safe havens. Some lost their energy and died along the way. Some sat down on rocks to rest and were overcame by demonic enemies.
I saw that the controlling powers did not want to let the Christian remnant go, so technology was sent after them, to hunt them and chase them down. I saw many drones overhead. They were beeping and obtaining coordinates of the remnant’s location. They picked up electronic signals from mobile devices and send back location coordinates to HQ.
As this is a spiritual fight, I also saw demonic foot soldiers sent after the Christians. They were small in size but made up in numbers, like insect infestations. It reminded me of hordes of locusts with demonic faces in Joel in Bible.
I saw that when the believers realized that their mobile phones were sending location coordinates to HQ, they threw away their phones in the ditches, greatly dismayed and close to tears. When they did this, I saw that there was a shutdown of the electronic grid. I understood that we would no longer be able to send messages from God to them, and vice versa, no electronic communication on matters of God would be able to come out to the external world. The isolation is deliberate.
I saw that when that time comes, each individual can only make it if he learned how to hear directly from God, the Holy Spirit as his compass. We cannot rely on others to hear God for us as we would be susceptible to abounding deception or betrayal. As the wilderness is uncharted territory, only by the leading of the Holy Spirit can we find the promised land.

Hello, Some people may have trouble hearing from God. It was difficult for me to start hearing from God because I didn’t know how. And after I started it was almost like developing a skill – sometimes I felt like a child learning to speak. But the more I did it the easier it got. I never heard a practical way to *start* hearing from God so here’s how I learned and I hope it may help some of you out there. Start by asking God for simple things. For example: God, what shirt should I wear today? Father, what should I have for lunch? Abba, would you help me fill out my grocery list, please? God, when should I go grocery shopping? God, how should I respond to this email? Here are a few tips/observations: -God doesn’t always use words to communicate. Just like we use facial expressions, body language, and tone of voice to communicate, God uses a wide range of ways to speak. Like when asking what shirt I should wear I might see the blue one. When I ask what I should have for lunch I might smell some pizza. When asking to for help with the grocery list I might see jars/boxes or food or I might feel a craving for a particular recipe and then I know I need to get all the different ingredients. -At first I would “hear” only from the Holy Spirit. He is very, very quiet. I’ve asked Him several times to speak more loudly. There are things that can block your hearing. If I have things running around in my head (like songs/music) it can be very hard to hear Him. Wow. Thanks for writing this. I always said that I will do whatever God is saying if I could only discern what he was saying. The hearing is the problem. I have heard his voice like you described inside your head yet you know He just spoke. It is a voice that commands attention and respect. It’s not a scary sound, yet it sounds loud in that you just freeze like a deer in headlights. It’s like the world just stopped and nothing else exists or matters. You can never forget that voice! However with all the distractions in the world today like cellphones and TV and the media – (Escapism) the voice of God is hard to hear. I agree with everything you said. The original posting said we must hear for ourselves which is 100% correct. This comes with a cost – turning off those distractions and denying self.
We have to make this our top priority or we won’t make it in these end times. Lord, help us all.
Patrick C, thank you so much that you decided to share. It is very needed for me. Im in the process of learning gods voice and on so many occasions I would be sure I heard it, but because its like a whole sentence placed in my mind and because it comes in the form of a question, I would doubt and think it was me thinking it. Its such a battle for me!!!!!!!!! I hate it honestly. I wish I could just know 100% its the voice of god. But it clears now that I can ask the 1 John 4:1-3 to confirm. When you explained step by step the process it reminds me of mine. I just I guess knew it was gods voice but wasn’t sure completely. I asked him to talk clearer and louder too. God even gave me a dream this summer where I saw a prophet who gave me a word from god. And god loved me through her in that dream and said to me that I doubt SO MUCH!!!! So there….. im so happy you shared because now I gotta do lots of thinking into things I heard before. All along I think we hear him ( as a thought in our minds) but just didn’t know it was him. I didn’t have anyone to confirm what I’m hearing and it made it harder to believe it was gods voice. For Example, I would be about to eat and a question would pop in my mind out of the blue ” maybe you shouldn’t eat that?” To me it’s annoying to listen to that thought because I wanted to eat that so badly but now I gotta eat something else. Hello Olga, Ohhhh, I soooooooooo know what you mean about “go through turmoil just to learn his voice.” That was one of the most frustrating issues I had in my early walk with Him, and that’s putting it very politely. He would use memory flashes or clips from TV shows. It was crazy. Extremely frustrating for a new “hearer”, but, as you wrote, He’s always right. I asked Him about that and after a long time He gave me an answer. This is what I heard: He said, “It’s like painting. I don’t use just one color. I use the whole/entire palette.” And that was that. He uses the whole palette. I mean He’s God and can do all kinds of amazing things, so, yeah. When He starts asking you questions, that’s the next level up, which is a good sign, but it can also be frustrating. Sometimes He asks me more questions then I ask Him. Many times my answer is, “I don’t know. Please, look into my heart and tell me what You see.” Oh, and another thing for new hearers, my initial “conversations”, if you could call them that, were extremely short. Like 10-15 seconds. Usually, I’d ask a question, He’d often reply with something thought provoking, and then … stop. He didn’t leave but it was like the conversation was over or paused (maybe like: Selah). I’d going on with whatever I was doing and then in a little while we’d pick up where we left off. I hindsight it was probably something to do with not overloading my circuits and/or blowing a fuse. In the 1990’s I received a short dream before cell phones were abundant. At the time I didn’t even own a cell phone. I was in a quadrant, you could not leave your quadrant, and knew I had to leave, I jumped the fence to run and realized that I had my cell phone on me so I threw it back over the fence, it was too late, they already knew I was out. The dream ended.
Thanks for sharing this Barb. I added it to my collection. May Wong received a similar warning dream regarding tracking us down by using the GPS location of our cell phones.
My daughter had a similar dream where she was fleeing and was being tracked through all electronic devices. We removed gps from one vehicle so far but still need to do another. There are videos how to do it if you are mechanically minded. I also saw a service online somewhere that will come to you and scan your vehicle for any gps device and remove them. Some are added by dealers in addition to navigation system.
A while back I had read some articles about how car tires have tracking devices built into them, all done of course without informing the public about it. There is a large market for buying the data collected from these devices. I did not know there was a way to remove them so thanks for sharing that KimN.

I had a dream years ago where Christians were hiding in the wilderness and the government tracked down many and captured them because they brought their mobile phones with them. Mobile phones can be tracked even when switched off or on flight mode, so if you are fleeing government persecution do NOT take your mobile phones or any trackable devices. God bless you. I’ve read over the post several times now. I find it rather intriguing. This morning I found more info about Athaliah being that I knew nothing about her. She sounds just like her mother Jezebel. Ambitious and driven. Evil of course allowing nothing to stand in her way. As I read about her and thought about the post in regard to the spirit of Athaliah controlling the police and military this rose up in my spirit. Soon we will see the tyrannical reign of a woman bent on destroying the followers of Christ just as Athaliah desired to wipe out the seed of David from which the promised Messiah would come and she thought she had. However she missed one. Joash was hidden by his mother for 7 years.
Michael, thank you for your insightful comment in regard to Athaliah. I tried to write a comment on her but the words wouldn’t come together. For a few months now, her name has continued to come to my thoughts. I also noticed the stronghold of Jezebel appeared to be fading into the background giving space to this Athaliah. Whereas it seemed Jezebel worked with seduction and manipulation, this Athaliah seems to be working under the powers of Domination and Intimidation.
I can see the saints resisting her usurped authority, causing her to be hell bent on wiping them out…..but…then comes Joash.
