This morning the Holy Spirit showed me a cloudy mirror in the Spirit realm. The more I looked into this cloudy mirror though, the more my reflection became visible, but not just my reflection was there, but something else was there as well.
As I stared into this mirror more and more, the Holy Spirit began to speak to me and as He did the Image in the Mirror began to clear up. The hazy appearance that I could barely see before began to take shape and I could, not only make out an image, but a Face began to emerge that wasn’t just my own.
“For now we are LOOKING IN A MIRROR THAT GIVES ONLY A DIM (blurred) REFLECTION [of reality as [e]in a riddle or enigma], but then [when perfection comes] WE SHALL SEE IN REALITY AND FACE TO FACE! Now I know in part (imperfectly), but then I shall know and understand fully and clearly, even in the same manner as I have been fully and clearly known and understood [by God].” (1 Corinthians 13:12)
As I continued to gaze into this mirror, (all the while hearing the Voice of the Holy Spirit), what I began to see staring back at me was the Face of Jesus Christ Himself in the Mirror! The Mirror is a representation of the Word of God, but the more that I spend time in the Word of God (the Mirror) the more that the fog will clear away and the more I will begin to Encounter Jesus Christ face to face!
The two things that you will always see in the mirror of the Word of God, will be your personal Identity and His! What was truly amazing to me was that the Image staring back at me was like a Mixture Of Jesus Christ and myself as One! It was my image and His Combined to form ONE NEW MAN!
“But the person who is united to the Lord becomes one spirit with Him.” (1 Corinthians 6:17)
The Image Looked like me and Him at the same time covered with His Glory and Power!!! One of the biggest misconceptions that people tend to think, is that the Mirror will always stay cloudy, but the more you grow in Christ Jesus the more that the cloudiness is removed and what really is found in the Mirror is revealed.
As we put away the childish things (wrong attitudes, mindsets and perceptions), the more that who and what we really are is revealed.
“When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; NOW THAT I HAVE BECOME A MAN, I AM DONE WITH CHILDISH WAYS AND HAVE PUT THEM ASIDE.” (1 Corinthians 14:11)
Those childish things are the things which keep the Mirror blurry, but as the Holy Spirit matures Jesus Christ upon the inside of each of us, the Mirror begins to clear up and who we are in Christ and Who He is in us begins to be revealed.
Is your Mirror Cloudy this morning? Are you having difficulty seeing the Image of who you are and who He is in you? The Holy Spirit is setting you up for a Face to Face Encounter with Jesus Christ, and the more that you Dive into the Revelation of the Word of God through the leading of the Holy Spirit the more that the Image will clear.
Don’t despise the days of small beginnings! Small revelations will unveil that Mirror you’re looking at one step at a time, but as the image clears, the transformation will happen and Who Jesus Christ is in you will Emerge!
“And all of us, as with UNVEILED FACE, [because we] continued to behold [in the Word of God] AS IN A MIRROR the glory of the Lord, are constantly being transfigured into His very own image in ever increasing splendor and from one degree of glory to another” (2 Corinthians 3:18)
