The Light Will Rise Above the Darkness

light_arises

One morning in 2014, after a time of prayer and study, I was sitting quietly before the Lord, when suddenly I had an open vision:

I saw the earth from about the distance of an orbiting satellite. As I watched, darkness began to gather around the planet. It appeared as dark clouds, and increased until it encircled the earth like a blanket.  The heavy darkness then began to descend.

As the darkness descended, I saw lights begin to appear and sparkle all over the surface of the planet.  Soon, it looked like the photos you see from satellite of developed countries at night, but these lights were appearing all over the earth.  The lights became so bright it was blinding, and they started to rise from the surface of the earth.

The brightness of the lights increased until it appeared as one great light rising up to meet the descending darkness. Then millions of light rays began piercing and shooting through, until finally, the light completely penetrated and rose high above the darkness.  End of Vision

Interpretation:

It was difficult to adequately describe what I saw, because this was an absolutely awesome and thrilling sight!  My spirit was quickened and soared triumphantly within me.  The Lord had given me a glimpse of the rapture of the Church!  At least, that’s what I thought I saw until just recently…

On May 9th, the Lord showed me the vision again, and said, The Light will rise above the darkness!

He then began to show me other images and spoke about a particular directive given to His Church – His very Body on the earth. I heard the Lord speak the following, and I believe it’s to remind the Saints of their position and assignment in these last days: “Take your seat, and enter my rest!”

When I heard these words, it was impressed upon me that, aside from a few exceptions, the Church as a whole has yet to claim her seat and enter His rest.  Just like the Israelites who, because of their unbelief, refused to enter the promised land, so is the Church in its present condition. Israel refused to obey, would not look to Him as their provider, nor trust Him as their defender; but instead focused on their deficiencies, their lack of water, and the size of their enemy; so their carcasses dropped in the wilderness.  They refused to enter His promised rest.

“Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to fall short of it… There remains a rest for the people of God. For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His….. Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience…” (Hebrews 4:1-5)

Our Father is calling out to His people to enter His rest. The Father told Jesus, Sit thou on my right hand, until I make your enemies your footstool (Matt. 22:44).

Seated With Jesus:

Jesus is now sitting at the right hand of the Father. (Rom. 8:34)  He is to sit there until His enemies are made His footstool.  So what about the Church?

Though we’re many members, we are all one body in Christ (Rom. 12:5). He is the Head, and we are the body (Eph. 5:23, Col.1:18). “And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church, which is His body, the fullness of Him…” (Eph. 1:22)

“But God…made us alive together with Christ, and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus…” (Eph. 2:4-6).

So the Church has been made to sit together in Christ at the right hand of the Father. That is our rightful position! And we enter His rest through Jesus Christ – He is our rest.  But Paul explained that we have to be diligent to enter that rest, to fear lest we fall short of it.  Just as it is by faith we receive eternal life through the shed blood of Jesus, so is it by faith we enter His rest, and we take our assigned seat together with Him in the heavenly realm. Through lack of faith, ignorance and/or deception, the Church has yet to enter in and take their rightful position. But when we do, our God will make our enemies our footstool.

The Fullness of Him

The authority Jesus gave to His Church is delegated and entrusted only to those of us who enter His rest by faith and accept our seat in Christ in the heavenly realm.  As we take our seat, we triumphantly enter the promised land!

Once we take our seat in Christ, we’ll no longer be of this world, just as He was not of this world (John 15:19).  We will only do what we see the Father do, and we will only say what we hear the Father say.  Our prayers will no longer be directed up to God, but coming from Him, speaking into existence the very will of the Father!

The works of Jesus will be done, and even greater works than He did (John 14:12). I was previously given a glimpse of what that will look like:

Conclusion:

Jesus said He was the Light of the world (John 8:12).  He said WE are also the light of the world (Matt. 5:14).  The vision I saw of the light rising above the darkness was what this process looks like from the spirit realm.  As each Saint, by faith, enters His rest and takes their seat in Christ at the right hand of the Father, a light appears and begins to sparkle. The light grows brighter and brighter as the Church – the Body of Christ – becomes the fullness of Him.

When we, the entire Body of Christ, finally takes our seat, the brightness of the light will increase until it appears as one great light rising up to meet the descending darkness.  Millions of light rays will begin piercing through, until finally, the light will completely penetrate and rise above the darkness.

When this occurs, the Word Jesus spoke concerning His people will be fully manifested. We’ll be above and not beneath. We’ll trample on snakes and scorpions, because our enemies will indeed be our footstool!

As mentioned, I originally thought I’d witnessed the rapture of the Church, but the Lord revealed this event happens before the rapture, as happenings in the spirit realm always precede physical manifestation.  But if you’ll notice, “The LORD says to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool.” To me, that suggests once this transition occurs, once the enemies of Christ become His footstool, He will stand up! Will it be to redeem His purchased possession?

I’d like to end with a prayer from ‘The Authority of The Believer’ by John A. MacMillan:

“Lord, I accept Thy gracious word.  In humble faith I do now take my seat in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus at Thy right hand.  Teach me how to fulfill this sacred ministry, how to exercise the authority which Thou hast entrusted to me.  Train me day by day that I may attain to the full stature of the perfect man in Christ, so that in me Thy purpose of the ages may be fulfilled. Amen.”

Diana Pulliam has been a Christian since the age of 22, but it wasn’t until 2008, while going through an especially trying time, that she asked God what He intended for her life. She told Him she wanted her life to give Him glory, but didn’t see how it was making any difference at all for His kingdom. She asked Him to not hold anything back, she wanted everything He intended for her, and was willing to do whatever He told her to do.

Two weeks later, during her quiet time with the Lord, she heard the Holy Spirit say, “Clean your house and write.” The last few years, He has given her dreams and visions about the times in which we live. In 2011, she started the blog The Mighty Hand of God as a place to write whatever the Lord inspires.

Hey Dianna, Awesome vision. With all of the dreams posted here, we are deluged with how great and terrible the darkness will be that is coming. However, your vision reveals a truth that will greatly inspire the church of the living God. Our position in Christ is God’s answer to satan’s new world order. When the Holy Spirit first began revealing :crucified with Him, risen with Him, seated with Him to me, I meditated on it for months , leading into several years. The initial revelation of crucified with Him was so strong that I thought about it every single day. That has to do with being dead to sin.Risen with Him and seated with Him were there, but not as all consuming as crucified with Him. We need “seated with Him” to consume us. This is the 2nd verse to a song the Lord gave me of our position risen and seated with Him. “Ri i i ise new man and take authority. I’m seated with I am. Risen with Him, seated with Him above my enemie e e es, above my enemies. Once we get the revelation, then we need to walk in it. Your posting is greatly encouraging me. Thank you.

Mike, I know exactly what you mean. I knew the scriptures, heard the sermons, read the books about our seat of authority in Christ in the heavenly realm, but it never dawned on me that it’s a requirement, totally dependent upon my acceptance of this sacred position in Him. Yes, we need to pray fervently for more and more revelation on this! Amen!

I feel like I’m already partly living in heaven…anyone else experience this? When I go to, say, a doctor appointment or into a store and they ask how I am, my first inclination is to burst out that I’m great because the Lord is coming soon and I can’t wait for heaven, and isn’t it exciting! I feel my face shining and have a big smile. But then have to stop and reel myself back to their reality, which is lackluster in comparison, and give a more normal response.

Diana, your prayer about taking a seat in heavenly places…I prayed this and the Lord showed me (this is new for me) myself in a white robe, wearing a sparkling belt covered with precious gems – the Belt of Truth – taking a seat on a clear, crystal chair. I asked about my crown, then saw myself wearing a gold crown with precious gems all over it. I have never in my life visualized anything like this!

So now my head is even more in the clouds! He really is coming soon for us, his remnant.

I’m so thankful I can share this here, with brothers and sisters in Christ who understand. I have one friend who is awake and gets it, and count myself blessed to have her. Most others think I’ve gone off the deep end lol.

I hope you find this as exciting and encouraging as I do!

James 1:12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.

Yes Kay, I’m the same way… it’s similar to being the only sober person in a room. My eyes are so widely open, I find it amazing others can’t see what is SO obvious to me at a glance.

Thank you for that passage you closed with. I’ve definitely been under trail, but pray that I’ve remained steadfast throughout.

Good Morning Saints! I have shared this before, and yet, once more I will share this. It is what we, as Believers need to allow the Holy Spirit to clean up in the very deepest parts of us. The rest is taking Jesus Christ completely as our complete sacrifice……. Obedience is better than sacrifice, and WHY so many of HIs people DO NOT obey Him……Please, I beseech those who are aching for the deep cleansing of their spirit…….take time to read and ponder what I am sharing…… CHAPTER 1 Tree of Knowledge Last night, I listened to a preacher from Singapore. He said that the first sin was the sin of self-righteousness. I perceived immediately that what the Father had shown him was a simple, yet the profound Truth that is foundational. I went to bed pondering this Truth. The Lord woke me up early, and literally, by the Holy Spirit, began speaking this into my spirit. What the Lord was revealing was the “king- pin”, the original sin, the iniquity of our first father and mother; AND the iniquity that they passed on to each one of us. This revelation ties into what is written in this book, and the practical application for each of His Children, the “capstone”. Here it is: The Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil = self-righteousness = religion = being “god like”, without God! Pure evil masked as light. (Babylon is that kingdom of light, which is really gross darkness.) That prince is a very bright light, but the light is a blinding light, a light that does not illuminate the darkness at all, it is self-contained…..those “mind blinding spirits”. Self-righteousness = filthy rags, rags filled with human blood, (works of our own hands, relying on our own good works and strength… Read more »

Bobbi, this is unusual in that the Lord has really been teaching me the meaning about the tree of knowledge and now you are writing about it. I have read that so many times in the Bible and thought I understood the meaning of tree of knowledge until I was taken into a deeper level of how we are so corrupted with sin and yet we think of ourselves as being little gods. We are not able to take correction from the Lord to see our sins and repent. I was watching several utube videos the other night where so many well known television evangelists were saying we are “little gods”. This is a demonic teaching that is very prevalent in new age teachings. I pray these preachers wake up to their wrong teachings that are causing such spiritual damage to the people listening to them.

Wow! I continue to be blown away by how the Lord coordinates what He is showing people here at Z3 and where He is taking me personally. He has, for the last month, had me focusing on learning about the authority He gives every believer, what being seated with Him in heavenly places actually means and looks like worked out in my life, as well as about how the heavenly courts operate and how we are to cooperate with them. I was just teaching my small ladies prayer group about these things on Sunday night. Thank you, Diana, for this word!

Grace,
After the Lord gave me this a couple weeks ago, I went to my Bible study group, and I’m sure you can guess the topic – the authority of the saints and how we must receive and operate in it!

Just a fun thought for everyone / anyone:
What is more exciting and might even bring more glory to the Lord?
To be “raptured out” meaning escaping evil or to stay, over coming evil and live out this vision.
Sometimes I wonder if the “rapture” is what is happening now– a Revelation 4:10 “open door to come up higher” season.
The armor of God (the fullness of His presence) is so that we will be able to stand in that “evil day.” I don’t know if there is a rapture per se… but I have been thinking, wondering if “the rapture” might not be what we think it is…
Just thinking out loud…
Thanks for any thoughts.

WWalker,
I believe the vision is a direct precursor to the rapture of the Church. There are too many references to Jesus coming for His Church for there not to be a rapture. Now the timing, that’s another thing. Because of space and the furor it may cause, I’ll not give my humble opinion here, but I like what Jonathan Cahn says, something to the effect of, “I don’t care if it’s pre-trib, mid-trib, or post-trib, I’m in!” But one thing is certain, when Jesus comes back to reign (2nd coming), he comes back with the saints – they are already with him! 1 Thessalonians 3:11-13. I highly encourage you to take this to the Lord and ask Him to show you what He wishes to reveal to you in this area and then look up everything you can find in the Word about it.

Although He didn’t pinpoint the timing of His return, the Lord showed me things that will happen BEFORE the rapture. See this blog post which describes the revelation the Lord gave me concerning this matter: http://themightyhandofgod.com/?p=1256

God bless you!

“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.” (I Thes. 13,14)

Great post Diana! I read your blog concerning the rapture, that’s wonderful! I am praying to be used by the Lord, I want to see the dead raised and the sick healed . I know I am becoming stronger in my spirit .. Things that used to bother me, don’t bother me anymore. I have set my face like a flint, I know I am going to see the supernatural come to pass in my life and those that I pray for. The church is entering a glorious time, praise God. Blessings, Corrine

Diana, doesn’t Paul speak of a great apostasy preceding “that day” (of the Lord), I Thes. 2:3? It could be the best of times and the worst of times. The true church, remnant, might shine while the luke-warm fall deeper asleep.

Robert, I believe we are witnessing that very thing, a great separation taking place within the church. I pray many will awaken during the great shaking we know is coming soon, even at the door.
God Bless!

I had two similar visions one right after the other.

First: Gold was sweeping over the whole surface of the land and as it spread outward it also began to reach upwards, lifting itself towards the heavens and all things where being overtaken by the gold, it moved like a fluid and reached up in tendrils and spread itself out, as it spread out all natural things, darkness, dirt, broken things where transforming into glorious gold. It remade fragile things into something solid, like watching wax become steel.

Second: A light was streaming out of the sky like a fire, at the top of the light was a bird of fire and the stream of light was drawing all people to it and it spread out at the base as it touched people, as they walked near the rays of it’s light it stretched out to meet them and they became part of it and they where all going from scattered in darkness to collected and being lifted up to become part of the bird. People where pressing in toward it like the only warmth on a cold night.

I have the scriptures and interpretations here if you want to read the rest of it, it’s too much for a comment, http://clothedinrainbows9.tumblr.com/

Hi, Diana, I also posted a strong message about overcoming under Victory on my site and just tonight on choosing Peace and Fulfillment, Satisfaction and Well-Being over self. God has an awesome plan for those who are overcoming and give Christ all. That’s the only way to live in these days.

Yes indeed. It is the only way to live in these days. Can’t imagine what it will be like for those without the Lord as these things unfold! I’ll check out your site.

I LOVE how the Lord works! When He wants me to learn something He gives me the same message from every angle. It seems that every time I turn around He is telling me the same thing and asking “Are you getting this? Now listen!”
Just last night I listened to a message from Neville Johnson that had this SAME message. I know it is critical that we learn this! The Lord is so good to us and He WILL tell us if we are willing to listen. We must praise Him and thank Him for His love for us!
