During my prayer time on February 23, I believe God revealed to me a most amazing word, “You have lifted Me up. Now I will draw all men to Myself.”
I saw a great harvest of souls coming into God’s kingdom as the result of seeds sown by His righteous ones, but I was amazed to see how it was happening because these seeds did not look like what we usually think about when we talk about bringing souls into God’s kingdom because they were not seeds of evangelism or witnessing, but just simple acts of faith.
Surely evangelism and witnessing play important roles in bringing in the harvest, but the amazing thing was it did not start there. It started with simple acts of faith performed by multitudes of His righteous ones, doing things they didn’t even realize were making a difference, but they were.
I saw multitudes of God’s people all across the earth as they were daily persevering, enduring many trials, many of them walking through the valley of the shadow of death, but instead of falling away, they were persevering in faith day after day, crying out to God for help, giving Him thanks and praise, even when their circumstances gave them no reason for hope. They were releasing their faith through their actions and through their words, sowing them like seeds into God’s hands.
Then I saw God receiving every seed and causing them to increase and multiply. Then He returned them back into the earth, producing a great harvest of life. I then saw He was doing this in fulfillment of His own promise, that if we would lift Him up, He would draw all men to Himself.
32 And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.”
33 But He was saying this to indicate the kind of death by which He was to die. (John 12:32-33)
Even though this prophecy was given to indicate the kind of death the Lord Jesus would die, I saw it still remains in effect and still applies to us today. God is still honoring His promise.
It reminded me of the word He spoke to Fiorella Giordano when He told her, “You have demonstrated your commitment to Me. Now I will demonstrate My commitment to you.”
God is honoring the faith of His people and responding by releasing manifestations of life into the earth, drawing all men to Himself. As this process repeats itself day after day among many thousands of His righteous ones all across the earth, it is making a great impact, producing a great harvest of souls.
It’s easy for us to get so focused on our own circumstances, but I believe God wants us to know our acts of faith are having a great impact, changing the eternal destiny of other people all around the world. We might feel all alone in our trials, like no one else is going through what we are, but we are not alone. We are part of a large army covering the whole earth. We have been walking through the same valley at the same time as one body. Although we don’t see the other members, we are unified by our faith as co-laborers working together, all sowing our seeds into God’s kingdom.
Now we have reached the time when every seed we have sown is about to manifest. The harvest season has arrived and God wants us to know what He has been doing with our seeds. We are going to be amazed when we see how He has multiplied them and brought them to maturity and even more amazed when we realize these things are happening as the direct result of our simple acts of faith when we persevered and refused to back down.
Isaiah saw this end-time harvest and described it here:
1 “Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.
2 “For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; but the Lord will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you.
3 “Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.
4 “Lift up your eyes round about and see; they all gather together, they come to you. Your sons will come from afar, and your daughters will be carried in the arms.
5 “Then you will see and be radiant, and your heart will thrill and rejoice; because the abundance of the sea will be turned to you, the wealth of the nations will come to you. (Isaiah 60:1-5)
Amos described it here:
“Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “When the plowman will overtake the reaper and the treader of grapes him who sows seed; when the mountains will drip sweet wine and all the hills will be dissolved.” (Amos 9:13)
Jesus referred to it here:
“Allow both to grow together until the harvest; and in the time of the harvest I will say to the reapers, ‘First gather up the tares and bind them in bundles to burn them up; but gather the wheat into my barn.’” (Matthew 13:30)
