On January 31 2016, I dreamed I was in the mountains with lots of big pine trees and thick forests. I was staying in a quaint hotel. You know the kind. Old, cabin features, and charming. It was a sort of resort place with families getting in and out of cars, a typical American vacation scenario.
I was in my hotel room sitting on the bed and I knew it was getting to be that time where we had to go. I say we because, though I did not see my husband, I assumed he was there somewhere.
I got up and left the room to go to the front desk to check out. When I went into the office, it was filled with people. There was chaos, clamor, and disorder. It was loud and unmanageable. The clerk was overwhelmed, so I stepped out thinking I would come back when it calmed down.
As soon as I stepped out, it was as if I stepped into a horrible place. Instead of big pine trees and thick green forests, it was now a horrid, howling, desert wasteland without any trees or greenery. It looked like a ghost town. There were no families, no people at all. A horrible dry blast of wind swept through the little town carrying pieces of debris.
I knew right away that there was more to this sudden change. I knew that there was no safety. Meaning, no government. I was on my own. We were all on our own.
I felt a sudden fear overtake me with a panic. I knew I had to escape as fast as I could. Just then a man pulled up in his car and I got in.
We got out of there in a hurry. As soon as we left, we immediately arrived at the ocean. As we approached the water, something did not feel or look right. I had a bad feeling of something unsafe, impending doom. When we arrived at water’s edge, I looked out and saw fishing vessels all moored together, out in the harbor area in front of us.
I told the man driving to stop the car so I could get a better look at these fishing vessels. A deep disturbing sense came over me as I noticed there was something very wrong with them. First of all, they were all very, very old, antiquated and abandoned. They looked like something from a hundred years ago by the way they were built and designed. They were not commercial vessels, but simply made out of wood slats overlaid upon one another. Each boat was so old, the wood was so old, that it was rotten from time and weather. You know how wood looks when left out in the elements for decades. The wood was whitish-grey and black. There was a haunting feeling I got from them. I understood there was something very bad regarding the story behind those rotten vessels. I felt afraid. Again, I felt a sense of deep doom.
We got out of the car and began walking along the seashore. With every step the ocean began to churn and toss and increase with intense violence. I looked up to see if perhaps a storm was approaching, but the sky looked normal, which was very strange. I looked back at the ocean and it was so violent it looked exactly like the worst white water rapids you would see in a gorge, which was odd since it was an ocean.
Then the sea lifted up so high! Instead of just crashing and tossing, it became enormous in height. It didn’t make sense, but it was enlarging itself skyward with voracity and destruction, swelling upwards, which was very strange.
I said to the man, “This is too dangerous! I don’t know what to do!”
I said this because it was all so contrary to nature, in the worst way. It was not a tsunami. It was something entirely different. It was horrifying and spelled absolute, catastrophic destruction of great proportions.
Suddenly, the water swept me and the man into the sea. I saw him in the water, but he was not even phased by it. He seemed to be just getting carried away in it with a peace in his countenance. I looked around as I was tossed about, and saw many other people were also caught in this violent ocean uproar. They were screaming for their lives.
Up ahead, I saw a very tall watch tower on the seashore. I thought to myself, “I need to get out of this water somehow, but how? I need to get into that watchtower!”
As soon as I said that, my feet were on the sand and I was climbing up the watchtower to safety. When I got inside, I saw the same man who was with me before sitting in there already. There were also a few other people in there.
The watch tower was very high, so I thought we could wait it out inside until hopefully the ocean would die down, but it was not the case. In fact, the sea rose up even higher with greater violence. I stood up and looked out in the direction we had arrived from, which was from the south, and I saw a massive wave taller than the watchtower barreling towards us. I quickly turned to look out over the ocean to the west and saw another wave of equal size barreling towards us. Then I quickly turned to the north and saw a wave coming that outranked the size of the other enormous waves on the lifted up sea. And let me tell you, it was like something out of a science fiction movie. It was nothing this world has ever seen. No way. There is no describing it. And it was all coming at the same time, barreling towards us at intense speed.
I knew there was no way out. I knew this most unusual, unnatural destruction was real and nothing would stop it or could stop it. Just then, the man said to me, “You have to jump now!”
I looked out of the window and saw the ocean raging through the under pilings of the watch tower. The current was deadly strong with much debris in the water, plus the watch tower was very high. So I looked up at the coming wave and down at the violent current a long way down.
The man jumped instantly and disappeared. I took one last look at the barreling wave and back down again. And realized if I stay I will die, but if I jump I’ll probably die too, so I jumped. And as soon as I did, I was immediately in knee-deep water at the water’s raging edge.
Then the man appeared and embraced me with great joy and said, “You made it!”
Then he disappeared. I found myself now wandering through this little section of land with ruined buildings all in shambles, notable in that they were of different national cultures all joined together. As I walked through one, I noticed people of the Asiatic regions, families, and individuals that had made it out, all checking to see if each other were alright and embracing each other. Then I walked through other houses, all in shambles, I saw people from other nations from all over the world, but there were very few who safely made it out. Everyone, looked like they had just come out of a horrible disaster and their lives had barely been spared. So there was great joy, thankfulness, and love.
As I walked on, I entered into a room and saw women my age and older seated at a table. One chair was open as I approached, so I sat down and joined them. They were all so happy to see me, and they showed it. The oldest woman looked to be in her eighties, but she was beautiful looking and kind. She began singing in the most beautiful voice, a song of praise. I marveled because I was so surprised at the strong beautiful sound of her voice. Then all the other women began singing with her. Then I began singing with them. The power of the Holy Spirit embodied that song powerfully. It was glorious. Then I awoke.
In the beginning, I was in the beautiful mountains on a vacation enjoying the scenery filled with rich natural resources. The families and people who were there on vacation represented the classic American culture and tradition, living our lives carefree. The style and classically old appearance of my hotel spoke strongly of the long time we as a people have enjoyed these carefree getaways.
I knew it was time to go and the anticipation of having to go showed we were out of time. We had to check out. Our carefree life abruptly came to an end. When I went downstairs into the office, the same people who had been happy and peaceful, were all now in chaos and frantic. They all seemed to want to check out at the same time, but couldn’t because the clerk was overwhelmed with the chaos.
What impressed me was how suddenly everything changed when I stepped outside to wait. It was startling to see the beautiful forested area suddenly became a dead wasteland. It was ominous to see this flourishing vacation area that was filled with people suddenly had no people at all. Their sudden disappearance added to the deep, profound sense that whatever had just happened, had something to do with their disappearance. I believe our way of life as we have known it is going to change suddenly and abruptly.
The land that was once beautiful teaming with rich, lush greenery and trees now looked like cursed land without inhabitant. Ugly, dry, and totally desert-like. Trash and debris were blowing down the street, which made it all the more terrifying. What had happened? Trees were gone. No lush greenery. Just the driest of dirt and blasting wind. I knew something more had changed. I knew there was no longer safety in the land. It was now every man for himself. I knew as I stood there taking it all in, there was no longer any more government and I had to escape for safety.
The Man with Me:
Now in all my dreams my whole life, this man who pulled up in his car is always present, though I am always withheld from seeing his face, and it never seems to matter to me. Whenever the Lord gives me a vision, this man is there walking with me and talking with me, explaining things. He goes with me to see things on earth as well as in heavenly places. I do not believe he is the Lord because I have seen the Lord and it is not Him. My guess is he is a representative from heaven. He is always soft spoken, and has a calming effect. He speaks plainly to me and shows me things I cannot see while I am awake.
So back to the interpretation…
The Fishing Vessels:
When we reached the coast, I saw the style and make of the fishing vessels were the old craftsman way. I knew they were abandoned, all moored together far off from the shore. They were so old they looked rotten. The Lord showed me that this represented that the Fishers of Men who were gone and had been gone for a long time. They departed a very long time ago, so the Gospel was no longer being preached or shared in a way that any vessels were needed. They have been left to rot. The Fishers of Men had abandoned their vessels.
The Raging Sea:
The sudden raging of the water with speed, and the swelling up of the sea to extreme heights represents humanity swelling up with immense pride. The violent raging water represents how the world is now plunging into violence with intensifying speed and great power. Wickedness, violence, and pride are all bulging out of the earth towards heaven, bringing total destruction.
Swept into the Sea:
We were caught in the raging sea because we are alive at this time and in the earth while all this is happening. All the other people caught in the sea and screaming for their lives means the judgment that is coming upon this land will sweep many people away in it. “And none can keep alive his own soul.”
While I was in the sea I was screaming and being tossed about, but I kept looking at the man who was with me and saw he was at peace and unafraid. Seeing him diverted my attention away from the wrath of the sea, which no one had the power to escape from.
The Watch Tower:
The watch tower represented my final hope. Just the thought that I had to get there seemed to be enough, even though I did not know how it was possible. All I had was the thought, and the Lord showed me, as always, the way out. This is His way. He knows how to do it when there is no earthly hope. My simple thought landed me on the sand. It was nothing short of a supernatural act of deliverance.
Listen, if it is God’s will that He wants any of us to survive that which is not survivable, He will see to it that we will survive. After all, does He not “command the winds and the waves and they obey Him?” (Luke 8:24-25)
When I climbed to the top, I marveled when I saw the man already sitting in the tower at peace. How did he get here? But he was there, and I knew he was there ahead of time waiting for me.
The Three Waves:
The tower had a 360-degree view. I thought I would just wait it out, but as I sat there seeing the rising of the raging sea and the increasing force of it made me look in all directions because I was not as safe as I had thought. The three waves all barreling towards us at the same time made being in the tower worse. I looked south, then west, then north. The two coming from the south and the west were of equal size, meaning equal catastrophic destruction. This tells me that there will soon be two events coming into our land out of the south and the west that will obliterate our land. However, the biggest one of all is coming out of the north. It far outranked the other two, meaning it makes the destruction from the others pale in comparison. Even though these waves were still far off they were already set in motion, which means the coming destructions are already set in motion and nothing has the power to stop them. It is determined.
The Big Jump:
The tower was not intended to be my final safety. In fact, those catastrophic death waves were coming straight for it. So when the man yelled for me to jump, it was not a suggestion. It was a command, which scared me because I knew that if he indeed was intending to jump, that was a bad sign.
He jumped first, and when he did I looked down at the distance to the water below, which was now raging through the pilings under the tower. There was no time left because the waves were charging towards us, and rising upwards beneath the tower. I saw debris in the water and the waves coming. I realized I had to do what he told me to do, and what he did, so I jumped. And when I landed softly in knee-deep water, it showed me what real faith was and what it will require regarding what is coming, to just obey even in the impossible. Even if we have to shut our eyes and jump, just jump. The man was right there to receive me. I believe his embracing me, and with joy telling me I did well, showed the pleasure of God upon those who believe in the impossible and obey. This is the highest honor we can give to God and what really pleases Him the most. To not only believe, but to obey and act out of our profession of belief.
The Dilapidated Houses:
The dilapidated houses all in shambles, were occupied by people from many different nations, tribes, and tongues, but were all joined together because they represented the “household of faith,” where love abounds. He will save to the uttermost.
The Lord showed me the end of “this present evil age.” The coming judgment is not exclusive to America, but is coming upon the whole world, but He will save those who are faithful to Him though they may have to go through some of the worst things.
A Seat at the Table:
Joining the other women at the table was a picture of my after-life. When I have “fought the good fight and finished my course and have kept the faith”, then I will sit down in the Kingdom, as Abraham, Isaac and Jacob have, and I will join with all the other women who stood the test of time, fought bravely and believed God in the impossible, and entered into glory. That is why there was a seat available at the table for me and why they they all knew me and were happy to see me.
The oldest woman who began to sing in the utmost beautiful voice that caused the other women to sing was potent with the presence of the Lord. As they sang, I did not know the words, but yet, somehow I knew I had heard it before, so I decided I would just start singing. As I did, the words came out of my mouth and I sang along with these beautiful, mighty, brave women of God. I sang a new song, “The Song of the Redeemed.”
