During the worship service at church last night, I saw the fiery Kabod, the weighty Glory Fire descend straight down until it was hovering everywhere about 4-5 feet above the ground. You could feel the turbulence underneath the layer of fire that was above us. The turbulence was removing a very thin layer of debris that was coating everyone from the warfare of the last season.
The great holy fire was polishing us in His Presence, and we were all glowing in the worship with His Life. The last vestiges of the old are now being removed and the freshness of new Life and Liberty is filling His People who have learned to dwell in His Presence.
Song of Solomon 8:4-6
4 I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, that you never [again attempt to] stir up or awaken love until it pleases.
5 Who is this who comes up from the wilderness leaning upon her beloved? [And as they sighted the home of her childhood, the bride said] Under the apple tree I awakened you; there your mother gave you birth, there she was in travail and bore you.
6 Set me like a seal upon your heart, like a seal upon your arm; for love is as strong as death, jealousy is as hard and cruel as Sheol (the place of the dead). Its flashes are flashes of fire, a most vehement flame [the very flame of the Lord]! [Deuteronomy 4:24; Isaiah 49:16; I Corinthians 10:22.]
