I was Snatched Up and Taken to Heaven in the Rapture

raptureBack in the 1990s, I had several dreams about the rapture. It always occurred suddenly and unexpectedly. There is one dream, in particular, that I feel I must share at this time.

In this dream I was standing outside of my parents house. It was during the daytime and there was nothing in particular going on at that moment. Then suddenly, I was snatched up and taken to Heaven.

I went up to whom I knew to be my angel and asked: “Were we just in the pre-wrath rapture?”

The angel answered, “Yes”.

Then I said, “Well, they’re going to have to change their charts then.”

I woke up.

In this short dream, I had an instant awareness that the pre-wrath rapture had occurred at the sixth seal, referred to in Revelation 6:12-7:17 and Matthew 24:29-31. I was also instantly aware that NOBODY knew we had already been in the tribulation! Since then I have known Christians must go through part of what has been described as the tribulation. We won’t even know we are in it, but true believers and followers of Jesus will be removed before the wrath of God is poured out.

We must all prepare for persecution, like our brothers and sisters in Christ have been facing in other parts of the world. We are no better than they are just because we live in North America or in a western nation. I grieve over those who fallaciously believe they will not have to endure suffering. The Bible tells us we will be persecuted (John 16:1-4, 1 Thessalonians 3:1-4, 2 Timothy 3:12).

In these final days, many professing Christians in the western world will fall away when death, disease, famine, persecution, war, and global chaos visit the lands that have enjoyed peace and safety (Matthew 24:10, 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4).

For my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, who cling to and believe in the pre-tribulation rapture, please read the the letter Corrie TenBoom wrote in 1974, and take what she wrote to heart. Also, consider these scriptures:

Then one of the elders answered, saying to me, “These who are clothed in the white robes, who are they, and where have they come from?” I said to him, “My lord, you know.” And he said to me, “These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. For this reason, they are before the throne of God; and they serve Him day and night in His temple; and He who sits on the throne will spread His tabernacle over them. They will hunger no longer, nor thirst anymore; nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any heat; for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes. (Revelation 7:13-16)

Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; but to the degree that you share the sufferings of Christ, keep on rejoicing, so that also at the revelation of His glory you may rejoice with exultation. (1 Peter 4:12-13)

To the prophets who have posted on the forum I am reading here I say “thank-you – with heartfelt thanks and relief – more particularly those of you who speak directly and clearly. It has always been (in my life from a young age to now in my old age) the way I have heard God or His Holy Spirit speaking to me. I am in Australia & posted yesterday about dreadful events coming to the north here . my post is on the site of the vision of attack on Australia. What you have given us Linda, Cheryl and Brenda; although it’s about your country, also relates to my own and other Australians’ prophesies regarding the power grid being a target for attack. Yesterday here while I was watching a DVD I heard a strange noise in the air outside (I live in rural area ) indescribable and deeply concerning and immediately the power went off. Now, many things have fallen into place to alert me that what I have been warned about could be close so to read your honest & forthright words spoken in such love to each other is a great relief and yes, I can see it is possible to see the ” jigsaw” filling in tho how on earth anyone can watch it with almost glee I don’t know except to say that the believer who does so must have utmost faith in God’s grace to them that if called to be tested in their complete willingness to die rather than deny Jesus they will die a martyr’s death. Thank-you again – for being fearless and faithful prophets, readable and clear (to me a mark of God) and your kindness and love in texting to one another. It is lovely to read. God bless… Read more »

What will become of those not taken up with the rapture?
I’ve heard people and prophecies saying “it will be too late.” But too late for what?
My understanding from reading the Word is that those left behind will be “refined.” If that’s the case, then will those who have been refined to a holiness and perfection more pure than gold then be granted permission to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven?
Curious to hear different thoughts and opinions from anyone willing to share. Thank you!

It will not be too late, but it will be very hard for everyone who is left behind. After the raptured church is in heaven in Revelation 7:9-17, the angel who reaps the harvest in Revelation 14:12-13 tells us many believers will be killed. “Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus. And I heard a voice from heaven, saying, “Write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on!’” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “so that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds follow with them.”

Thank you James. This was my understanding. We should all be prepared either way. Jesus Bless You.

Hi Cherie. Yes, I agree, the firstfruit company is not ready yet ,or unveiled, but their unveiling is in the making – though it will take a few years before it’s ready. I certainly agree that God wants His people aware of what’s in His the Bible, and what He’s saying in any given generation. Revelation must be given of what is written, and according to the walk each believer has with God, because like bread, it really does feed our spirits. But I think more than anything, people really need to connect with God, and get a personal relationship going on a daily basis. If people are walking closely with God in this way, He will take care of their spiritual needs.

Hi Cherie. In all honesty, I am not sure I follow what you’re saying. Yes, I’m aware of I Cor. 13:9-10, not a problem. As I clearly stated in ‘Here Comes the Bride’, revelation is absolutely necessary if anyone is going to follow Christ and the leadings of His Spirit. Christ, the firstfruits isn’t just about Jesus Himself, alone and separate from the rest of the Body in every respect. That sounds more like the Master/Lord relationship than Husband/Wife. Jesus will be joined to a group of firstfruits in a spiritually intimate union, just as He was more connected to the Apostles in their day than the rest of the then, Body. Actually, I have a new post coming out that will talk a bit about this, maybe you would like to read it and then comment.

I didn’t say anything about Christ apart from the firstfruits. Everything needs to be kept in context and dividing His Word inappropriately leads to the depths of falsehood. Jesus is already joined to a group of firstfruits, and that is Zadok (representative of leadership). The fulfillment of that union is not completely manifested to us yet, but is being unveiled. Remember the Word “Christ the firstfruits, the beginning of sacrifice,” which is self-evident. If you study the ancient languages, it will be much easier to interpret the translations correctly. In the Word revelation is progressive. Christ is the revelator…and unveils according to HIs will, but we must seek to be biblically literate in all He gives us. This is part of what causes division in the body. Reading the chapters I referenced are quite simple when you approbate them according to subject and object. Hope this helps…

Hi Linda. I’m glad you were free to share your dream since, being new here, I haven’t heard it before, and all of these words of one form or another are as important to put together as scripture is, if we’re going to understand the big picture. From what you were told and shown, your dream coincides with Matt. 24:36-41 very well. In your account those taken seemed to be in fairly normal circumstances because their catching away ‘caught’ them by surprise, and they weren’t aware they were in the tribulation, and in Matt. 24, Jesus conveyed the same idea – describing life going on as per normal – marrying, giving in marriage, building, etc. In your dream no one knew that such a thing was about to occur, and in Matt. 24, it states very clearly, “….and knew not until the flood came…”. By its very description, the point of this scripture is the idea that life seems fairly normal to many people, and therefore they aren’t expecting the sudden change, and that’s certainly the impression your dream gives. This being the case, it also coincides with what Paul said in I Cor. 15:22-24, concerning people being made alive in their own order, starting with the firstfruits. Of course the season for fruit is a general one, but it doesn’t matter what tree we’re looking at, there’s always first-ripe fruits, and since the season of the rapture isn’t just about timing, but about the Bride having become ready, it makes total sense that some became ready before the larger company have. Rev. 14 bears this out, because of you look at the context it’s in, very shortly after the description of the firstfruits has finished, a voice from Heaven states that the hour of His Judgment has come, and… Read more »

Hi Brenda
What a huge subject to tackle…
So deep and contextual so it’s nice to hear what is revealed to others…The beginning of the chapter reveals in part how the order is comprised. The progression states vs. 5; Cephas, the 12, 500 brethren etc. There is so much here I am sure that we must consider 1 Cor, 13:9, 10., unless we’re an absolutist concerning revelatory application. When the chapter addresses the assurance of the believer it states Christ as becoming the firstfruits of them that slept. Verse 23 emphatically states the order as “Christ the firstfruits,” and then after that…those who are his. If you look at that comparatively and consider the Zadok (remembering Zaccheus) and the OT as well, we see that they are the “pure.” As when the transfer of kingdoms was illustrated. So spiritually we look at the Fruitfruits as Christ and the Zadok or the undefiled (or Elect-as Paul remembering the Damascus road).I don’t know if you’ve done an in-depth teaching on the three earth ages, but if you have this will make sense) if not, the Lord is faithful to reveal it as we pursue Him in the Word. I don’t comment on the theory of the rapture for many reasons (including disputations), but knowing Christ no-loner in the flesh makes this a great subject for in-depth teaching for those who want to “go deeper with Christ.” Blessings…

Perhaps a minor caveat, but “firstfruits” does not only refer to what we commonly call fruits (apples, grapes, limes…). From a horticulturist perspective, “fruit” includes all of those as well as everything edible other than stem & leaves on a plant (artichokes, wheat, potatoes…). So each crop has its own firstfruits. And some kind of crop is harvested somewhere in every month of the year.

Good points Debra. Yes, I agree there are fruitfruits of every kind, and the earth is restored in accord with that illustration. A caveat here would be that of caprice figs…which is another teaching entirely. Blessings…

Linda
Greetings. This is not a direct comment on your post but the Lord spoke to me this morning as I was in prayer. He said, “Cherie, the power grid is going down.” It was a clear statement and nothing further. I had the feeling that this was imminent and recently the Lord has given me prophetic words like this anywhere from 3 hours to three days in advance. But I cannot and will not say the time is such and such as I do not have that directly form the Lord. I asked Him to confirm in His word as I usually do, and He gave me the first portion of Daniel 3:15 stating: :Now if ye be ready…” KJV. He prompted me to share this on this site, so I am obeying. Hope those who find this are on His continuum. Blessings…

We’ll be raptured according to our theology.
God can’t judge until believers are separated from sinners, Noah, Lot, and Elijah come to mind.
Be ready to go at any time, and the details don’t make a lot of difference.

Linda I always get a lot from your posts. Can you explain the dichotomy of these 2 opposite statements……. [ We won’t even know we are in it ……………….

We must all prepare for persecution, like our brothers and sisters in Christ have been facing in other parts of the world.
