On 4/6/2019 the Lord gave me a dream where I was the head chef at a restaurant responsible for quality control. My job was to stand at the pass and examine all the food before it went out to the customer. I had to determine whether or not the food passed muster. While all the food looked beautiful outwardly, I knew that some of it was rotten inside. I knew I had to protect the hungry customers from the bad food, so I kept sending it back. End of dream.
Now the food in the dream represented spiritual food and the fact that some was rotten points to the false prophets who feed the sheep bad doctrine that doesn’t line up with the Word of God.
On one of my recent stories, someone made the following comment: “I don’t like speaking out like this, but your writings seem to usually involve throwing others under the bus. I’m sure you are well intended, but I think you should consider your motives and pray for true discernment from God.”
I did not respond to that comment at the time because I wanted to take it before the Lord to see what He would say. Then on 3/30/2021 the Lord gave me the following four visions in succession.
Vision #1 – I kept trying to wake up a woman but she would not wake up.
Vision #2 – I saw many couples sitting in a living room talking to each other. Each couple in turn explained how long they had tried to have children before they actually got pregnant.
Vision #3 – I saw a bedroom that was dark except for a lamp that was lit. I could only see the lamp in the darkness.
Vision #4 – I saw the apartment from the movie “Song Bird”. Suddenly one entire wall was removed and the inside of the space was exposed. End of visions.
The next day I asked for clarity on the meaning of the visions. The Lord led me to reread Ephesians 5:8-14. So you can imagine my surprise when it dawned on me that those four visions lined up perfectly with that scripture.
So we are to determine what is acceptable to the Lord and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness but rather EXPOSE them. That means if we see a prophet engaging in the unfruitful works of darkness, we are commanded to expose that darkness. If we don’t say anything, then we are being complicit with the sin.
Can you imagine what would happen if the head chef at the restaurant let rotten food go out to the customers even though he knew it was rotten. Wouldn’t some customers get sick and die?
Elisha understood this principle really well. Remember how he actually overheard the conversation that took place in the enemy’s bedroom? And how the enemy was plotting to kill Elisha’s king? Did he remain silent and say nothing?
No. Out of love for his people and his king, he spoke up, even at a great cost to himself. So when we see prophets or “Christians” in the public eye dispensing bad fruit, we need to speak up to protect the innocent.
What about Mordecai? Do you remember when he overheard two men conspiring to lay hands on the King? Did he remain silent? Nope. He told Esther, who told the King, and their evil plot was foiled.
Now the commenter said I was throwing these people “under the bus”. I found her choice of words quite fascinating since the Lord has been speaking to me about a “bus” for quite some time. It’s a spiritual bus or an ark of safety, protection, and refuge under His wings.
Can I just say that by exposing the works of darkness, we are actually giving the transgressor the opportunity to repent, get right with God, and to “get on the bus”. What could be more loving than that?
EPHESIANS 5:8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light 9(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), 10finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. 11And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them. 12For it is shameful even to speak of those things which are done by them in secret. 13But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light. 14Therefore he says, Awake you that sleep, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give you light.
MATTHEW 7:20 Therefore by their fruits you will know them.
ISAIAH 58:1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.
JOHN 7:24 Do not judge according to appearance, but judge with righteous judgment.”
LUKE 17:3 Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke him; and if he repents, forgive him. 4And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.”
PROVERBS 26:26 Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shewed before the whole congregation.
MATTHEW 18:15 Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. 16But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. 17And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican.
Elisha Uncovers a Conspiracy
2 KINGS 6:8-12 Now the king of Syria was making war against Israel; and he consulted with his servants, saying, “My camp will be in such and such a place.” 9And the man of God sent to the king of Israel, saying, “Beware that you do not pass this place, for the Syrians are coming down there.” 10Then the king of Israel sent someone to the place of which the man of God had told him. Thus he warned him, and he was watchful there, not just once or twice. 11Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was greatly troubled by this thing; and he called his servants and said to them, “Will you not show me which of us is for the king of Israel?” 12And one of his servants said, “None, my lord, O king; but Elisha, the prophet who is in Israel, tells the king of Israel the words that you speak in your bedroom.”
Mordecai Uncovers a Conspiracy
ESTHER 2:21 21In those days, while Mordecai sat in the king’s gate, two of the king’s chamberlains, Bigthan and Teresh, of those which kept the door, were wroth, and sought to lay hand on the king Ahasuerus. 22And the thing was known to Mordecai, who told it unto Esther the queen; and Esther certified the king thereof in Mordecai’s name. 23And when inquisition was made of the matter, it was found out; therefore they were both hanged on a tree: and it was written in the book of the chronicles before the king.

The Lord began drawing Dana to Him about six months before she was saved. By January of 2015, the urgency to make a decision about God was so strong, that it was all she could think about, but she was clueless how to even get saved. One day in her bedroom, she cried out to God telling him she really wanted to be saved, but she didn’t know how. Then she had the thought, maybe she could Google it. And that’s what she did. She found instructions on the Internet and said the Salvation prayer out loud.
In 2017 the Lord led her 600 miles away from her family, friends and home to a place she had never been and did not want to go – Missouri. Then in April of 2019 the Lord gave her a vision of a woman sitting at a desk, writing on paper. That’s when she knew He wanted her to write, but what on earth could she possibly write about? Then in July of 2020 the Lord gave her a vision of an eyebrow pencil outlining a woman’s eye. She interpreted that to mean “I OUTLINE”. And that is exactly what He did. And that’s how the Lord got her to pick up her pen.
