I was looking online for anything to do with the rider on the red horse (Rev 6:4) and found this post. Now wondering – are the two scriptures connected in any way? Ezekiel 21 talks about the sword of the Lord, polished for slaughter. In Revelation 6 the sword is given to the rider on the red horse, but only after the Lamb opens the seal – He is still in absolute control. Then could it be that the beast, who was wounded by the sword and yet lived (Rev 13:14), is wounded at this time, after the second seal is opened? Could the beast be another version of the profane, wicked prince of Israel (Ezek 21:25)? Another reference that seems to tie in with the first dream is Daniel 11:33-35, where the righteous are persecuted and purified. Just throwing ideas around here.
