Little one, write these words as I have given them to you. Make no error in the transcription. There now comes a day that I will make the proud faint with terror. The dogs shall roam the streets and the mockers shall mock no more. See, I am doing a new thing! As I am a God of mercy, I am also a God of judgment. Write these words, little one, so that my people who seek my face will know that I have given them a warning before these things take place. A time of darkness will soon cover the earth. But as for you, seek first my kingdom and my glory and I will cover you under eagle’s wings. These signs you have been seeing are not a mere coincidence, little one! Even the unbelievers have been perplexed at the roaring and raging of the sea! Fear not, little one, for my sheep know my voice. I will never leave or forsake those who love me. All who look to me will be granted a home and a family. It is I who opens a door that no one can shut. Do not delay to share these words, little one. I have loved you with an everlasting love. But it is not peace I am bringing to the world, but a sword.
“And there will be signs in sun and moon and stars, and on the earth distress of nations in perplexity because of the roaring of the sea and the waves, people fainting with fear and with foreboding of what is coming on the world. For the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. Now when these things begin to take place, straighten up and raise your heads, because your redemption is drawing near.”
Luke 21:25-28 ESV

While people are saying, “There is peace and security,” then sudden destruction will come upon them as labor pains come upon a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you are not in darkness, brothers, for that day to surprise you like a thief. For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness.
