“My church has largely replaced the ethical rules of My holy book for secular schemes.”

The gold mine of money is a jackpot to many. It grasps their very soul, day and night. The many ways people obtain money and influence are in direct opposition to the written word of God. The rules of God’s financial wisdom have long since been decimated by man’s greed to cling to his wealth and gain it; he thinks, secretly.

All is laid bare at the eyes of the one who sees all. All is laid bare including back room deals, and secret and anonymous conversations with consultants who give tips, coincidentally, at the right time. There isn’t anything the ears of a Holy God cannot hear. In favor of the god of mammon, My church has largely replaced the ethical rules of My holy book for secular schemes, just to see their momentary and temporary accounts grow, thinking their security will increase with each deposit they make and none would be the wiser. How wrong they are!

Anything done out of malicious greed offends their Creator. Their bending rules will soon be exposed by Me. The offerings they bring Me and even their tithes are abominable to Me when what I see is only deceit and the many lies said to one another just for another dollar. Church of Mine, the fires of intense persecution are coming. They will burn your iniquitous ways to purify you for Me, or, they will cause you to lay down, fully, your trust in Me and the last threads of belief you have in My holy word.

Thievery, while passing by those in need, grieves Me. Many have been given opportunities to give, and not even sacrificially, to others in need. Noses turned up, you refused to help in your pride and arrogance instead of compassion and love. Many have so much need of Me and money does little to cover your nakedness before Me. Little children; still, though you have known of My ways for many years.

Know that you will reap all the deceit you have sown. Yet, in repentance, I will forgive your idolatry. Generation to generation, the love of money has made many cold and indifferent to Me, though each Sunday, you sit in a pew with the very ones who tip you off to the latest scheme and greatest deal. Soon, all of your dealings will cease. Soon, all your whispers will come to nothing when My hand of correction lands heavily on your hearts.

You are being warned to repent before public disgrace repeats your names. Give Me, your God, your pure motives and stop your greed. Give Me, your God, your sincere due honor as The Father of Glory that I AM. When world systems change, will you remain true to Me and My word, or, will you submit to the one world regime in favor of the lifestyle you now hold so dear? Serve Me or serve the god of this world. You can not serve both and expect to see Me when your last breath releases your soul into eternity.

It is clear in My word, you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength. There is no choosing what you will and will not submit to in My word. It is all My holy counsel for you, meant to guide you, protect you, and heal you from the divisive and hurtful plans of the enemy of your soul.

Righteousness pleases Me. Take your rightful place in My kingdom, now, or you will suffer great disgrace. None of those who’ve misled you will come near you when the consequences of your idolatrous sin is exposed for all to see. Come now to Me in full surrender and repentance for all of your misdeeds. Then, give cheerfully to those in need. Give gladly to My work of the kingdom that touches every sphere of society. Repent from worshiping the god of mammon, and true peace with Godly contentment you will have.

Scripture References:

Proverbs 28:22 (KJV) – He that hastens to be rich has an evil eye, and considers not that poverty shall come upon him.

Mark 7:21-23 (KJV) “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed the evil thoughts, fornications, thefts, murders, adulteries, deeds of coveting and wickedness, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness. “All these evil things proceed from within and defile the man.”

Proverbs 28:25 (ESV) – A greedy man stirs up strife, but the one who trusts in the LORD will be enriched.

Luke 16:10-13 (KJV) – He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own? No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

My husband and I, like so many, have suffered major financial setbacks due to health issues and other life circumstances. About a year ago, I heard the Lord tell me He wanted to greatly bless us financially but He wouldn’t unless we yielded our finances to Him. We started giving to our church every month and we patiently wait for His blessings and instructions. We are certainly not expecting to tithe and then win the lottery! Rather, we want to be vessels for His kingdom expansion. Starts with obedience of the heart!

Ms. Ellis,
Your post is an awesome Word. It was not a hyperinflated word I see sometimes from false prophets. It was plain and simply written: repent, and repentance is always an on time Word.

I confirm persecution is coming and has already begun. The church is like the world trusting in the dollar instead of God and trusting in man instead of God.

We are an undone people.

One of the hardest things to do is give the first 10% of your paycheck( before taxes) to the Lord’s work. My wife and i began doing this along with blessing other ministries (offerings) over a year ago. However, we have never lacked in anything since this.
God is so good, and always provides for us. I believe that God wants our first fruits and this is our way of showing our gratitude to him and a way to bless others. It also keeps us depending on him and helps keep our heart right before him in this area.

Sorry Mark. I know you are stretching yourself in faith toward God in giving tithes and it is honorable and good that you are doing so, however all our life has been purchased at great cost… even the faultless life of the son of God and his precious blood. What is of concern is many think all that is required is that they sit for two hours per week and pay the tithe and they need not do anything else. Bursting your bubble is the kindest thing I can do. Our whole life has been purchased by God and belongs to him. Do you think it would be okay that only a tenth of your soul gets saved? I think the problem arises when it is a carnal preacher preaching a carnal message and doing so for his/her carnal reasons and it brings forth this unwillingness to truly worship God in Spirit and in truth. I hope this helps you my dear brother to come before God and search out these things. Trust God, only he is trustworthy. Peace!

As long as the people -especially those with influence, politicians, wall street, porn and weapon industry, world leaders, you and me, society as a whole- of the world put money, words, power, ego, status and monolog before humanity, action, interaction, love, truth, honesty and dialog nothing changes.

My daughter is about to give birth to her first child- a daughter. I asked her what values she wanted to instill in her child. She had no response, to indicate she was open and receptive to any advice I had. I said, “When all is said and done, and you’re ready to meet your Maker, He may ask, “Have you been a bigger giver or a taker? If your “gives” are weighed on the balance against your “takes”, may they far outweigh them.” My father taught by his example to always have the palm that gives, and not the hand stretched forth to be given to. This doesn’t just mean financially-one can also exhibit the idolatry of greed by being a taker emotionally, spiritually, practically, even physically. One can be greedy by being needier than they are helpful. This includes being demanding, lazy, unhelpful, stingy with their time, crtical, a complainer, unthankful, etc. We tend to think of greed as purely monetary. I believe greed represents any way we subtract from another to gain for ourselves. I believe giving represents building up, sharing, and edifying another, at a cost to oneself. When it does come to finances, however, when true stewards are attempting to increase money from investments, it’s because they have been given the gift of generosity, and the Lord is entrusting them with knowledge and skills to make more to give more. As in Prov. 31:16. “She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.” If wondering where I’m headed with all of this, it’s because I hope words like this do not make the sincere of heart who come to learn investment strategies on z3 to feel judged as idolatrous or greedy, but to come with a heart… Read more »

Carolanne, yesterday’s sermon at church was, “Are you a giver or a taker.” The pastor summed it up like this, ‘If you see a need, fill it. (You may be the only one who can.)” We are indeed blessed to bless others. Just as HE said, “It’s more blessed to give…” Once I learned that and lived it, my life changed for the better very quickly.

Carolanne, our desire for money may not always be out of greed, but out of necessity. This world can be a very tough place.
Now, from a worldly point of view, profit from trades can be used to buy a house, quit a job or change a career.
With money, you can quit a job where you are being overworked or “bullied”, or exposed to unhealthy work conditions. Another reason to quit work is to escape “toxic” competitive rivalry that is so common in the modern working world.

God enriches us in every way so that we can Give generously. 2 Corinthians 9:11 —-
You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God. This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord’s people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, others will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.
