This is what I received during my meditation this morning, May 22, 2016.
I had opened up Acts 15:12–18 for my meditation, but the Spirit then led me on to read Amos 9:11–12. I continued on till the end of the chapter. Then I received:
“What I build, no man can destroy. What I destroy, no man can rebuild.”
Second reading of Amos 9:11–15
“I am building a people for Myself, My Church, My Bride. What I build, no man can tear down, but what I tear down, no man can rebuild.”
Third reading:
“Write it down. Truly, truly, I say to you, “I am planting a new people on this earth, a people after My name, a people on fire for Me, a zealous people, zealous for Me, but the wicked I will uproot. All the godless and the unrighteous, I will do away with. They will not prosper against my chosen ones. My chosen ones shall possess the land.”
The question for every individual is: Which group do I fall into?

Three Tips on Being a Friend of Sinners
Article by Jonathan Parnell Topic: Sanctification & Growth
Three Tips on Being a Friend of Sinners
Jesus was accused of being a friend of sinners. That was the word on the street in first-century Palestine.
The precise phrase — “friend of sinners” — is mentioned twice in the Gospels, in Matthew 11:19 and Luke 7:34. The naysayers of the day, the religious aristocracy, criticized Jesus as a “glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners.”
They called him this because it was true. He was a friend of sinners. Jesus himself said that he didn’t come for the spiritually healthy, but for the sick. “I have not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance” (Luke 5:31–32).
Just like he greeted children that others thought were a nuisance, he welcomed sinners that others didn’t (Matthew 19:14; Luke 7:37–39). He looked at them, as Mark says he did with the rich young man, and he loved them (Mark 10:21). He had compassion on them. And most glorious of all, he wielded his authority to speak those wondrous words, “Your sins are forgiven” (Luke 7:48).
This is all very important for us because, as some have noted recently, we Christians pattern our lives after Jesus’s example. He has, after all, sent us into the world in the same Spirit of his own mission (John 20:21–22).
If Jesus was a friend of sinners, we should be too, it seems — somehow, someway. And instantly, this discussion can drift into a much bigger one about Christians and culture and all that. But instead of going there, let’s just talk friendship for a minute. Friendship, which is not without its implications, is more practical and relevant than a primer on the church’s posture in society. So in that light, here are three tips on being a friend of sinners.
1. Be okay with marginal.
In the example of Jesus, we need to be all right with marginal all the way around. Be okay with associating with the marginal, the poor, the destitute — those often overlooked in society (Luke 7:22). Go there. Be with this people. Serve them. Learn from them. And be okay with being thought marginal yourself (Matthew 19:6–9), or non-progressive or backwater or against sexual modernity — whatever they are saying these days about the Christian conscience. The truth is that many of our neighbors, especially in urban contexts, will think we’re weird. Or stupid. Or close-minded. Or judgmental. Or just simply out of touch with the new post-Christian world.
Popular opinion will continue to cast Christian ethics as outdated and antithetical to the development of the American self. We’ll often find ourselves, in the coffee shop, on the light-rail, at the theater, to be the only ones there who don’t think same-sex “marriage” is the coolest thing since sliced bread. The number of those who share our convictions, or are open to listening, may continue to dwindle. And, really, this is fine. It’s okay. Our calling doesn’t live or die by societal acceptance.
2. Aim to love, not be liked.
We must nail this down. The aim of our charge is love, not popularity (1 Timothy 1:5). Jesus constantly infuriated the popular ideals of his day. They knew his teaching contradicted their own, and rather than like him and wrap their arms around him in happy tolerance, they tried to shut him up (Mark 12:12). “If they have called the master of the house Beelzebul, how much more will they malign those of his household” (Matthew 10:25).
Jesus wasn’t a fan favorite. They crucified him, remember? The leaders and the people. Not to mention that alongside Jesus’s reputation for shady associations was the utter absence of popularity baiting. “Teacher, we know that you are true and do not care about anyone’s opinion. For you are not swayed by appearances . . .” (Mark 12:14). This means Jesus didn’t let the crowd’s facial expressions dictate his message. Or pageviews. Or book sales.
In a sense, there is a holy disregard for what outsiders think, but that’s not the whole story. In the Pastoral Epistles, Paul lays out that one of the qualifications to be an elder is that “he must be well thought of by outsiders” (1 Timothy 3:7). As David Mathis writes, we care what others think because God cares. Ultimately, “we want outsiders to become insiders.” Jesus came to serve, not be served (Mark 10:45), and the same goes for us. We are in this world to serve, not be pampered. To love, not be applauded. To bless, not be notarized. So we should care about our reputation — to serve and love and bless — but that doesn’t mean trying so hard to be liked by everybody. Having a respectable reputation is one thing, trying to get everyone to throw their arm around us is another.
3. Put the gospel to work.
This means, first and foremost, that the most important thing we could ever say is that Jesus is Lord. He is the risen King of the universe, alive now and reigning in his mercy and love, commanding all people everywhere to repent and come home. This is amazingly good news, and it is controversial. If we believe this, and say it, some sinners won’t want to be our friends. Nevertheless, the news is still good. The truth is still compelling. Its beauty is never diminished.
A few of the most practical ways we might put the gospel to work as friends of sinners is captured by Tim Keller in Center Church. Leaning on Simon Gathercole’s outline of the gospel as Jesus’s incarnation, substitution, and resurrection, Keller considers three aspects in which the gospel impacts our lives. He calls it the “upside-down” aspect, the “inside-out” aspect, and the “forward-back” aspect — each of which are opposite the world’s way of thinking (46–48). Upside-down is rooted in the most glorious, humble event in history. God became a man. He suffered. He died. Our message and lives are marked by this relentless posture of servanthood. Inside-out gets at the great work Jesus did by taking our place on the cross. He died for us, sinners as we were, and was raised for us by sheer mercy — to bring us to God and accept us not based upon our works, but solely by his grace. This electing grace has no preconditions. It’s lavished on the worst of sinners and tidiest of Pharisees, giving us all the eyes of faith. Then the forward-back, the kingdom Jesus inaugurated by his victory over the grave, reminds us that we are destined for another world, a better one. Heaven will be on earth, but not yet. The world will be made completely new, but now we’re still working and waiting, loving the lost, telling God’s story.
When these truths touch our lives and are put to work in our relationships, we’ll be walking in the steps of our Savior. When this world-shaking wonder orders the way we, sinners saved by grace, think about those around us, sinners in need of grace, then, and only then, we’ll make for good friends. Then we’ll be good friends of sinners, like the true and better “friend of sinners.”
Dear Laura, great post…just a little niggle for me…first century Jesus was born-lived-died in Israel NOT Palestine. It didn’t undergo a name change until 70 years after Jesus’ death. With all the lies expounded by “Palestinians” these days, let’s not give in – even inadvertantly – to their claim that Jesus was a Palestinian!

I would like to ask for prayer. About a week ago I was bitten by a tick. I thought I would be OK, but the dreaded bulls eye appeared this weekend. I would not worry but I am allergic to most all anti-biotics out there, plus all medicines they use for allergic reactions. I dread the trying medicine more than getting Lyme disease. Thanks
The last time I tried an anti biotic it gave me a heart attack and Jesus supernatural healed me. He shot electricity throughout my body. I am off to the doctors in about an hour. I am really paranoid about taking any medicine after the last experience.
Praying Peachy , bring back a good report .
Dear Peachy, I downloaded “The Healing Companion” by Glynda Linkous on Kindle this week and read it. It’s very encouraging and agrees with Derek Princes book on healing – and others. Last week the little ones and I were learning Luke 10 v 19…God has given us authority over snakes and scorpians and all the powers of the enemy and NOTHING can harm us! We determined to learn to fight against sickness in the supernatural! Just a thought!!! You are an immensely valued part of the Z3 family 🙂
Peachey, I’m keeping in my prayers. God is with you!
Praying for you, Peachey!
We are praying with and for you Peachy. Praying for a good report and that your body will receive healing both from God and any anti-biotics that may be required…..
Keeping you in prayer Peachey! God Bless & protect you.
Have you tried Colloidal silver?….very gentle on the skin and so many healing qualities. Bless you !
The doctor confirmed the very early beginning of Lyme disease from a tick bite. But we got it really early. Once I take the two weeks of anti biotics my doctor is sure no more disease. I do not even go back. My bullseye developed in four days, sometime it can takes months or not at all. Apparently there are two medicines given for early treatment. I am able to take this antibiotic so far. It was the last one recommended by my allergist to try if I had to take one.
When you’re ready for someone who has a tremendous gift from God to help you then all you need to do is call Mike Carey at 208 968 5797. His first consultation is free and I will guarantee you he will diagnose you in 3 minutes over the phone and prescribed for you most likely exactly what you need. Lyme disease is an easy cure. Mike saved my life and attributes all of his gifts to the Lord, he may even decide to share Christ with you for the next half an hour. And yes he can even tell you if your issues are physical or spiritual. I’m very hesitant to provide this information to anybody because most people simply won’t believe it and I found out that in the end most people actually don’t want to be cured. But knowing that you have nothing to lose but a phone call and simply because I care for you as a sister in the Lord that’s why I’m providing this. God bless. He’s available anytime 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. central time.
Lisa…i just went back and read your previous comments. Here is a pic on my blog. Genocide???
Are you serious? Really??? Have you discernment?akiwihandmaiden.wordpress.com
Do you believe people are too enlightened and would never be subject to genocide?
I’ve spoken to several people who were young when Hitler came to power. They had no idea. One was partying in Vienna the night before Hitler entered. Another one was totally oblivious and was photographed next to a Nazi flag, laughing and oblivious.
What sort of comment is that “have you no discernment”. Are you all knowing? I genocide impossible. I included a video from Laura Lee on Sgt. Pepper, perhaps that is what you are referring to.
Have you ever read Albert Pike’s letter on three world wars? The first two were planned decades before they occurred. The letter was written in 1871. Those wars have occurred. The third world war is yet to come.
What makes you so certain that you know there will not be another attempted genocide? Do you know the heart of man so deeply, and that he has evolved beyond mass murder?
I think you are naive.to believe there is no possibility o f such a thing.

Albert Pike received a vision, which he described in a letter that he wrote to Mazzini, dated August 15, 1871. … Pike’s Letter to Mazzini. … Following are apparently extracts of the letter, showing how Three World Wars have been planned for many generations.
Albert Pike to Mazzini, August 15, 1871: Three World Wars …

Jan 10, 2015 – Albert Pike to Mazzini, August 15, 1871: Three World Wars? … This letter graphically outlined plans for three world wars that were seen as …… so called ‘news’ outlets such as infowars for breathing life into this baseless fraud.
Wars are wonderful opportunities for planned genocides. Is that naive? That is history
Lisa
Genocide has been with humanity since the fall, it is a sinful action of a group in power to over take and eliminate another group. Besides Hitler, we see Stalin and others in the past and most recently tribal genocide in other countries. I believe that if wisdom prevails and a sound mind that has not be derailed from the scripture is present, any would see that genocide has not gone away from the mind of humanity. If we place this consideration concerning the Body of Christ, it firmly matches up with what scripture has spoken regarding the end times. True and faithful believers will be persecuted and killed because of His name and because He lives within us and we in Him. This is the truth of the word of God. I would also tell you that my Great Uncle was Julius Streicher (my Grandfather’s brother) who was hung in Nuremberg for Holocaust crimes. Because of this unholy ancestry, I have made it my business to understand and to comprehend what that evil is to cause such insidious actions. This has satan written all over it and as long as he is free to roam the earth, which he presently is; we will see Genocide. It is my prayer that the Household of God will realign herself with God, have the veil of deception removed from our hearts and our eyes and stop trying to make scripture say what tickles the ear. I thank you for you honesty and courage to speak the truth. KB
I believe I get your point. “They Thought They Were Free” by Milton Meyer is a terrific eye-opener.
Lisa,
Here is what two popular dictionaries define “genocide” as.
Merriam-Webster: the deliberate killing of people who belong to a particular racial, political, or cultural group
Oxford Dictionary: the deliberate killing of a large group of people, especially those of a particular nation or ethnic group
So, considering these definitions, what would you say God was doing when he sent the flood in Noah’s day (Gen 6:7)?
What would you say of his command to Saul (1 Sam 15:3)?
And what of Deut 20:16–18?
From the same Bible that I have produced these verses, here are some more:
Eze 18:23
Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?
Gen 15:16
In the fourth generation your descendants will come back here, for the sin of the Amorites has not yet reached its full measure.
These scriptures reveal the heart of the one we call God.
My point: God will judge all evil doers unless they repent, and that judgment might very well result in a genocide of all evil doers. The imperfect man has no business imposing his definitions on a perfect God demanding justification for God’s actions.
Every spiritually awake end-time believer knows that scripture says great persecution awaits them and is even now here. There is at present going on, and even in future there will be, a genocidal attempt against God’s holy people.
What the scripture does not say is that it is God’s people who will commit genocide in the last days. No, we are going to be persecuted, and some, if not most, will even be killed. I hope this lays to rest all your concerns about some of us insinuating genocide here.
No, this post is to encourage end-time believers that no matter what is perpetrated against them in these times, their ultimate victory is certain because God will eventually be victorious, and they can safely side with him in spite of anything and everything.
“would not want to be on the wrong side of it”. That sounds like a threat. What are you saying, actually? Are you so sure you are on the right side?
Dear Lisa. The Lord is separating the wheat from the tares. Mathew 13:24-30. Which is what Mar R. vision that she shared showed us. Then she also reminded us of Exodus 34 – and the radiance on Moses face.
Do not be deceived. God cannot be mocked. For whatever a man sows, that shall he also reap. In Galatians 6.7.
We are constantly sowing and reaping. Its just how it is.
I sure hope that I am not a goat, or a tare.
Swing the sickle. The term is found in Joel 3 and Revelation 14.
Hope that helps to clarify things for you Lisa.
The most impt harvest of all will be all those that will receive salvation. Choosing heaven instead of hell, salvation instead of judgment.
Consider the Lords Prayer
Our father in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name
May your kingdom come
May your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven
Give us this day our daily bread
Forgive us our sins
As we forgive those who sin against us
Lead us not into temptation
But deliver us from evil
For thine is the kingdom, the power and the glory, for ever. Amen.
The Lord is answering that prayer that has been prayed by generations of christians.
“”…[T]he harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.”
Perfect Love and faith cast out fear! I refuse to live in fear! Read the history of how God has saved his people! God will protect his Children! He will destroy their enemies or they will humble themselves and repent. The wheat will be placed safely in the red barn!
Lisa,
If we have the Lord’s favor, we are on the right side. If we experience his wrath instead, we are on the wrong side. Which side we end up on is dependent on us. If we abide in him, we have his favor; if we live in disobedience to him, we experience his discipline.
Again, I am very concerned. “Swing the sickle for the harvest is ripe”. There is a dual meaning there. People who commit genocide LOVE IT. It makes them feel ALIVE.
What do you mean “swing the sickle”, SPECIFICALLY?
I know you were not asking me the question, but I was actually researching the “sickle” this week because I had a very strange vision. I saw the pastor of my church actually holding a very long sickle looking instrument. It almost looked like a wide sword with a curved end. He moved it gently over the congregation of our church. The heads were waving like wheat in a field. Then our pastor went and opened the back door of the church. He was calm but I was puzzled because it didn’t really look like anyone was leaving or entering. He then came back to the front and at this point all of the church had gathered together as close as possible into very unified group. Our pastor looked up to the ceiling and his face was shining and then ceiling opened up with light shining down.
I was puzzled because why did our pastor have a sickle? I knew that Jesus uses a sickle. Then I was wondering why the back door was opened but no one was coming or going. I was replaying the vision and then the Holy Spirit said, “look down” on the ground was hundreds of little snakes all leaving the building.
I think the sickle represents a sifting that is going to take place.
That sounds like deliverance to me!
Lisa, The sickle refers to God directing his agents (angels) to harvest the earth at a particular time. Like the time of the flood, he will once again pour out judgement on the earth. Simultaneously it refers to bringing people from every tongue, tribe, nation into the kingdom of God.
The difference is that unlike the maniacal dictators of the 20th century – WE don’t swing the sickle. WE don’t take anything by force. Jesus tells us to love our enemies, to pray for those who persecute us. We enter the harvest pleading with others to turn to Christ and be saved. God’s people do not fire shots or take by force or advance our faith by the sword. We advance it by loving, building, and laying down our lives.
Lisa,
In Matthew 4, there is the one who is tempting, and he is quoting scripture. There is also the one who is being tempted, and he is also quoting scripture.
Everyone, wicked or righteous, can quote from scripture. So, the people who commit genocide can also quote scripture to justify their action, but it does not mean that everyone who quotes the very same scripture is also insinuating genocide.
Lisa,
Here’s the New World Order Ten Commandments (aka Georgia Guidestones), with the first to maintain humanity under 500 million.

Wow!

Even has a picture of a chessboard. The day of the Lord. Checkmate. Would not want to be on the wrong side of it. Swing the sickle for the harvest is ripe. In Joel 3
