Psalm 23 Extended Edition

Jehovah shepherds me, the Eternal Living One tends to me and feeds me, I shall not want, or lack, or be without, I shall not decrease;

 He makes me lie down stretched out in pastures of new grass. He leads me with care to a place of rest, He refreshes me and gives me rest, He guides me to a watering place, beside still, quiet, resting waters;

 He restores my soul, He returns my life back to me, He refreshes my inner being, He leads me in paths of righteousness, He guides me in the paths of justice for the sake of His own name and His reputation.

 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will not fear nor be afraid of evil, nor will I be full of dread or terror, I will not stand in awe of some bad, unpleasant calamity that might happen to me; for You are with me; Your rod, which branches off from you and is an offshoot from you, and Your staff, which gives me support, they comfort me and console me.

 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you arrange a table in front of me and right in front of all those who have tried to bind me and shut me up, in full view of all those who were hostile towards me and harassed me, you have anointed my head with oil, you have brought fatness to the best areas of my life, to the areas that I value the most, my cup has become so saturated with abundance that it overflows.

 Surely goodness and pleasant things will follow me, things that are excellent and valuable will come to me, indeed kindness will pursue me and faithfulness will run after me all the days and years of my life, and I will dwell in the house of Jehovah, I will sit down and stay forever with the Eternal Living One, the One who calls Himself I Am Who I Am.
