We all want to know what’s happening in this crazy world, but despite the best efforts of very smart people, many questions remain unanswered because the world is looking in all the wrong places.
The answers have already been given by God to anyone willing to use His keys to wisdom and understanding, which reveal answers that are so simple, even a child can understand, but His keys can only be received through child-like faith, which presents a big problem for those who think they already have it all figured out.
As I shared previously, the three keys to wisdom and understanding were given to me by an unseen man in a dream on March 18 2016. He handed them to me one at a time in order of their importance. The first key was the knowledge of the Word of God. The second was the knowledge of the power of the Holy Spirit and the third was the knowledge of practical, predictable patterns. The first two did not surprise me because I’ve heard so much about them, but the third surprised me because I have not heard much about it, even though it is revealed in the Word of God by one of the wisest men who ever lived, King Solomon, which he summarized as, “That which has been is what will be, that which is done is what will be done, and there is nothing new under the sun.” (Ecclesiastes 1:9 NKJV)
Since the first two keys were the most important, it makes sense to study them the most, but I believe the Church has neglected the third key because I have hardly heard a word about it despite decades of regular church attendance. The cost of this mistake became clearer to me in recent years as I discovered my own lack of knowledge of historical patterns caused me to spend most of my life believing lies about world events, which was quite a shocking discovery. It was like living in the matrix and finally taking the red pill and waking up. It was a major paradigm shift in my understanding. Then I looked around and realized my Christian brothers and sisters were still believing the same lies that had blinded me for all those years, including our leaders, which grieved me and motivated me to do everything I could to help expose these lies.
By focusing all our studies on the first two keys while neglecting the third key, we’ve become like those guys in the gym who focus all their time building up their arms and chest while ignoring their lower bodies. They admire themselves in the mirror because they only focus on their massive arms and chest while failing to realize they actually look like freaks because of neglecting their skinny lower bodies. In the same way, we’ve focused so much our attention on the top two keys, we’ve failed to see our skinny legs are so weak we can barely even stand up. We’ve been blinded from seeing what’s happening in the world around us, which has made us a laughingstock in the enemy’s camp because we’re so easily led into deception, just like the rest of the world. This is not God’s will for His people, which is why He has already given us everything we need to walk in the light, including the three keys to wisdom, but He has left it up to us to choose to either use them or ignore them at our own risk.
God has not made us robots without any will of our own, but has given each of us the power to make our own choices. (Deuteronomy 30:19-20) So, He has left it up to us to seek Him and His wisdom. He has promised to give His wisdom to all who seek Him for it, but He requires us to ask for it in faith, expecting to receive what He has promised. Those who do so will reap the great benefits of it while those who don’t will suffer the consequences.
5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
6 But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
7 For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;
8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. (James 1:5-8 NKJV)
We’ve all heard the saying, ‘the truth will set you free.’ But there’s more to it than that because Jesus said our KNOWLEDGE of the truth would set us free, which is why we’ve been warned, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” (Hosea 4:6, John 8:32)
I recall a few years ago listening to then President Barack Obama giving a speech to honor those who had given their lives in past wars, but I was horrified by the way he summarized historical events in ways I knew, even then, were not true. Yet, none of the reporters covering this event called him out on anything and the people in the crowd seemed to believe every word of it, showing how easy it is for anyone to revise history with just a little bit of spin and a few missing facts. Our ignorance of history makes it easy for anyone to manipulate us and lead us into harm’s way.
Imagine a case where a woman has amnesia and forgot who she is. Any stranger could then come along and tell her, “Your name is Suzie. You are my wife. Come with me Suzie. I’m taking you home and I’ll take care of you.”
Not knowing any better, she would say, “Oh, okay. If you say so.” Her ignorance of her past would put her life in danger, which is the condition multitudes are in today due to being lied to about history, but the good news is we can start using the third key to avoid danger ahead and even turn the tables on our adversary, making him a laughingstock by shining the light of the truth on his schemes so everyone can avoid his deadly traps.
The Invisible Realm
The best place to start using the third key is found in the first key, the Word of God, because the Bible is not only the most accurate history book ever written, 100% true in every detail, but it also goes beyond the history of the visible realm, which is the realm of things perceived by our five senses, to reveal the invisible realm, which is the realm of the spirit of God. It is impossible to understand the truth about the history of the visible realm without first understanding the truth about the history of the invisible realm because everything that happens in the visible is merely a reflection of what’s happening in the invisible, as demonstrated by the fact that the visible realm was created by the invisible God when He simply spoke it into existence. (Genesis 1:1-2:7)
In the beginning, the visible realm consisted only of lifeless powerless dust, which God used to form man, but even then there was no life in Adam until God breathed His life-giving Spirit into him, causing him to become a living being. (Genesis 2:7) This original act of creation reveals the relationship between the two realms, showing the source of all life and power in this realm comes from the invisible realm. This relationship remains just as true today as demonstrated by the fact that our physical bodies have no life in themselves, but immediately die the moment our invisible spirit departs. (James 2:26) Then we can finally see the body for what it really was all along, lifeless and powerless dust.
So the creation of the visible realm marked the beginning of a predictable pattern that has continued repeating ever since. Understanding this relationship reveals one of the most important foundational keys to unlocking the mysteries of past, present and future world events. This is the greatly neglected third key that unlocks the right perspective, causing everything to finally make sense.
Since the visible realm has no power of its’ own, nothing just happens in this realm. Everything originates in the invisible realm. I saw this truth illustrated in a brief vision I received in 1993. I saw what looked like a giant dried up, crusty pancake suspended vertically in outer space. Immediately, I understood it represented the physical realm and I saw it had no life or power within itself, but was entirely subject to the life and power coming from the spiritual realm. So the vision illustrated and confirmed what the Bible has already revealed.
If there is anything good in this realm, it came from the invisible realm. (James 1:17) The reverse is also true. Anything evil in this realm ultimately originated from evil spiritual beings in the invisible realm, led by fallen angels who rebelled against God. (Isaiah 14:12-14, John 8:44, 1 John 2:16, Revelation 12:7-12) Although these beings are invisible to us, they operate in the visible realm by influencing and manipulating people to do their will, including everyone in the world who has not been born of God. (1 John 5:19)
Although it might appear that we make our own choices without anyone telling us what to do, even our power to choose was given to us by the invisible God, including the all-important choice of whom we will serve. (Joshua 24:15)
19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;
20 that you may love the Lord your God, that you may obey His voice, and that you may cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days; and that you may dwell in the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, to give them.” (Deuteronomy 30:19-20 NKJV)
He has set before us two choices, the blessings of life and the curse of death, representing two realms, the invisible and the visible. By focusing our attention on the invisible realm, we find all the blessings of life, but by focusing our attention on the visible realm, we find only the curses of death because there is no life in that realm.
The Faith Hurdle:
The contrast between the two realms could not be more extreme. The one has no life or power while the other has all life and all power. The one has no wisdom or understanding while the other has unfathomable, unmeasurable wisdom and understanding. (Romans 11:33) Yet the great abundance of the invisible can only be accessed by faith, which presents a hurdle because it offends our natural reliance on the visible.
Without faith, none of the wisdom keys work. Even the first key, the Word of God, which has the power to give us eternal life, is rendered powerless without faith. I saw this illustrated in one of my first college courses, Theology 101, which I would never has signed up for if it wasn’t a requirement, but it was. My professor prided himself on having studied under a great German theologian, Karl Barth, but despite all his years of studying the scriptures, he considered them nothing more than fairy tales and sought to provide us with natural explanations for every supernatural event in his daily lectures. His mind was filled with all the words of life, but their unlimited power was reduced to zero by his unbelief.
Without faith, the second key is also rendered powerless, denying us access to the awesome power of the Holy Spirit. He is willing to help us, teach us, and guide us, but He will not force Himself on us because giving us insights before we were ready to act on them would ultimately bring more severe judgment upon us, making us worse off than before, because He must hold us accountable for whatever He gives us. So He waits for us to choose to either seek Him or not seek Him, trust Him or not trust Him. Until then, His unlimited power is reduced to zero by our unbelief.
Without faith, the third wisdom key is also rendered worthless because the ultimate meaning of all the predictable patterns is hidden from us unless we have faith to believe they all originate in the invisible realm. Only then can we understand the patterns we see in this realm are just ripples coming from that realm. Without faith, all we have are natural explanations for supernatural events, which leads only to confusion, so we are denied access to understanding the very things we want so much to understand because of our unbelief.
Many have tripped over the faith hurdle because we were all born and raised in the visible realm, so we are naturally more aware of it than the invisible realm, so our natural understanding leads us in the wrong direction, relying on the visible while rejecting the invisible. (Proverbs 3:5) But that’s the wrong conclusion because it’s based on incomplete information due to only seeing part of the picture. (1 Corinthians 13:9, 13:12) Relying on our natural understanding causes us to spin our wheels, forever seeking and learning but never finding the truth because all the answers are found only in Him. (Proverbs 3:5, 2 Timothy 3:7)
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is understanding. (Proverbs 9:10 NKJV)
Rejecting wisdom leads to the only alternative, which is confusion, so the more the world searches in the wrong place, the more confused they get and the more foolish their theories get, eventually reaching the point of being quite amazing that anyone could believe the nonsense coming out of their mouths. (Romans 1:22) This is the way of all the inhabitants of Babylon. Even the name comes from the Hebrew word, babel, which means confusion. (Source: Strong’s Concordance h0894, Genesis 10:10)
With each choice we make between these two realms, we are continually drawn closer to one or the other because we become more mindful, more aware, more interested, and more sensitive to whatever we focus our attention on while at the same time becoming less mindful, less aware, less interested, and less sensitive to whatever we choose to ignore. (Luke 12:34) So the more we focus our attention on visible things, the more we undermine our faith in invisible things, which moves us farther away from the answers we seek. The Bible describes this reliance on the external, physical, visible realm as a carnal or fleshly mind.
5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is death, but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. (Romans 8:5-7 NKJV)
The reverse is also true; the more we focus on the invisible realm as revealed by the Word of God, the more we become mindful, aware, interested, and in tune with it, so we are filled with faith to receive all that God has promised us. For example, when the disciples were caught in a storm on the sea, Peter focused on the word Jesus spoke to him, saying, “Come!” This word produced faith in Peter to believe he could step out of the boat to join Jesus walking on the water, so Peter briefly operated in the power of the invisible realm and walked on the water, but when he took his eyes off of Jesus and looked at the visible realm, focusing on the strong storm winds blowing, he immediately became fearful and was no longer able to access the power from the invisible realm, so he began to sink. (Matthew 14:29-30)
Not only did King Solomon understand the value of studying the predictable patterns revealed in past events, as mentioned previously, but he also discovered the patterns reveal the precise time when everything will happen and the reason why it happens, which he explained as follows:
1 To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven:
2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck what is planted;
3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;
4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
6 A time to gain, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away;
7 A time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 NKJV)
The Hebrew word zeman in verse one is translated as “season”, but the more complete definition is “a set time, an appointed time.” (Source: Strong’s Concordance h2135) In other words, “everything” that happens on earth happens at a specific time that was already set or appointed in advance, precisely in the assigned season when it was supposed to happen, and it is all just as predictable as sunrise and sunset and the change of seasons in fall, winter, spring, and summer.
Solomon’s discovery is another confirmation that everything happening in the visible realm, “under heaven,” is merely a reflection of what’s happening in the invisible realm, which is the realm of heaven. In other words, our realm is under that realm, subject to what happens in the higher realm of heaven, to such a degree that everything happening in our realm happens at a specific time set in advance in heaven by the invisible God. That’s a mind boggling concept all by itself, but it goes beyond that to also reveal “every purpose” for “everything”, so this wisdom key unlocks not only the appointed time, but also the hidden reasons why everything happens.
These concepts might appear to contradict other scriptures revealing God has given us the power to make our own choices, choosing either life or death, as stated previously. (Deuteronomy 30:19-20) Yet, there are no contradictions here because God truly has given us the power to make our own choices, but since He sees the end from the beginning, He already knows in advance what we will choose. (Revelation 21:6, 22:13)
9 Remember the former things of old, for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me,
10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done, saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure.’ (Isaiah 46:9-10 NKJV)
Since God is in the eternal realm, He is not limited by time, which is why Jesus, the Lamb of God, was slain before the foundation of the world and the names of every person who will ever receive redemption through the Lamb were also recorded in the Book of Life before the foundation of the world. (Revelation 13:8, 17:8)
It’s easy to get so focused on our circumstances, we can lose sight of who we are dealing with. He is a very big God, even knowing the end from the beginning, so He is always far ahead of us, knowing our every move before we make it with such amazing accuracy that He specifically identifies the set times for every event in our life, even making allowances ahead of time for our mistakes and our confusion, so when it appears to us that we have blown it beyond repair, it’s still not too big for Him because He has already gone before us to prepare the way, so we arrive precisely at the set time which He appointed for us in advance. So He does what only He can do, causing everything in our life to work together for our good because of our love for Him. (Romans 8:28)
Understanding the relationship between the two realms is a foundational truth that unlocks the mysteries surrounding everything happening in the earth, revealing it is merely a reflection of what is happening in the invisible realm. Since all the answers to all our questions are found in the invisible realm, we must study that realm to understand this one. For that, the Bible is our most reliable source, and it reveals the invisible realm is in the midst of a great war and our enemy is already scheming to deceive us with the most elaborate hoax ever, which will be the topic of the next post.
