America’s Broken Covenant Causing All Sorts of Trouble

Washington_prayingMany believers are seeing big trouble coming to America in 2015 and beyond. Are you serious? Haven’t we already had enough trouble with the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Towers in 2001 and the collapse of our financial system in 2008?

Has God forgotten America? No, God has not forgotten America. The problem is America has forgotten God.

To help explain what is happening, we need to understand our nation’s unique relationship with God. America is one of only two nations in history to be established in a covenant relationship with God. The only other nation to do that is Israel.

As a result of that covenant relationship, both America and Israel have been blessed abundantly. That’s the good news. The bad news is to whom much is given much shall be required. The Apostle Peter revealed the consequences for turning away from the Lord are severe.

For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than having known it, to turn away from the holy commandment handed on to them. (2 Peter 2:21)

We see what happened to Israel when they turned away from God. They were broken off like branches from a tree because of their unbelief (Romans 11:19-20).

washington_inaugurationRight from the start, America entered into a covenant relationship with God the same day that our first President was sworn into office on April 30, 1789. Our founders had just won a hard fought revolutionary war against England when our new government began. When George Washington gave his inaugural speech from the balcony of Federal Hall in New York City he established a covenant between our new nation and God by declaring, “No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the Invisible Hand which conducts the affairs of men more than those of the United States.” Here is the full context of his statement:

“Such being the impressions under which I have, in obedience to the public summons, repaired to the present station, it would be peculiarly improper to omit in this first official act my fervent supplications to that Almighty Being who rules over the universe, who presides in the councils of nations, and whose providential aids can supply every human defect, that His benediction may consecrate to the liberties and happiness of the people of the United States a Government instituted by themselves for these essential purposes, and may enable every instrument employed in its administration to execute with success the functions allotted to His charge. In tendering this homage to the Great Author of every public and private good, I assure myself that it expresses your sentiments not less than my own, nor those of my fellow-citizens at large less than either. No people can be bound to acknowledge and adore the Invisible Hand which conducts the affairs of men more than those of the United States.”

In the same speech, President Washington issued a stern warning that the blessings of God on our nation could not be expected to continue if we disregard His commandments.

“I dwell on this prospect with every satisfaction which an ardent love for my country can inspire, since there is no truth more thoroughly established than that there exists in the economy and course of nature an indissoluble union between virtue and happiness; between duty and advantage; between the genuine maxims of an honest and magnanimous policy and the solid rewards of public prosperity and felicity; since we ought to be no less persuaded that the propitious smiles of Heaven can never be expected on a nation that disregards the eternal rules of order and right which Heaven itself has ordained; and since the preservation of the sacred fire of liberty and the destiny of the republican model of government are justly considered, perhaps, as deeply, as finally, staked on the experiment entrusted to the hands of the American people.”

After making his inaugural speech, George Washington and members of Congress walked a short distance down the street to St Paul’s Chapel of the Episcopal Parish Trinity Church. There they prayed for two hours seeking the blessings of God on our nation. The devoted prayers of George Washington are well documented and commemorated in stone as shown in this photo of Federal Hall.

Amazingly, the terrible attack on our nation on September 11, 2001 occurred at the same location where our founders declared our covenant relationship with God in the public ceremony of the Presidential inauguration. The speech was made at Federal Hall, which is located at 26 Wall Street, very close to Ground Zero. St. Paul’s Chapel is located right at Ground Zero. It was the only building in the immediate area that was not harmed by the attack.

The fact that the attack occurred in the same location where our covenant was established is not a coincidence, but rather it is the hand of God pointing us back to the words of George Washington and the relationship that we established with God at that location 212 years prior to the attack.

As George Washington warned, the smiles of heaven cannot be expected on a nation that disregards the rules ordained by heaven. So the consequences are severe.

The attack on 9/11 was a warning of far worse consequences coming in the future if America does not repent. Terry Bennett was shown what is coming. He recently shared what he saw in a message called “The Fate of Two Nations”. He identified specific examples of the trouble coming to America as a direct result of breaking our covenant with God. Scroll down to the bottom of this post to watch a video presentation of his message.

We have opened the door for Satan to attack our children. That attack has manifested in America not only through abortion, which has destroyed the lives of the unborn for the over four decades, but also through homosexuality, which is now destroying the lives of our young people. Our children have been given over to Satan.

We have opened the door for Satan to infiltrate our churches with false doctrines that are damning people, such as teachings of false grace. Deception must be confronted because it spreads like gangrene. It is Satan trying to bring our nation into a place of utter defiance and rebellion against God. So if America has ever been in need of repentance it is now.”

The sum of all fears is going to come upon us in our life. Unless we fear the Lord more than we fear those things we will be in serious trouble.

Things that we have become used to are going to change. Food on demand is going to become restricted. So we will have to trust the Lord.

The Lord secretly took me into a high-level demonic counsel, and Satan was in that counsel, and I heard their plans against our nation. Basically, their plan was if they cannot completely control us then they will completely destroy us. We are going to face the reality of complete destruction.

The signs of the breaking of the covenant have already begun. We have been struck twice already. First in 2001, we were struck in the same location where our founders made a covenant with God. Then seven years later in 2008 our economy was struck. Now we will be struck again a third time in 2015. There are seven strikes coming against our nation:

  1. Our spiritual blindness will allow us to be blindsided by unforeseen strikes.

  2. Our defiance will force upon us a higher degree of judgment than would otherwise be necessary.

  3. Our arrogance will result in a humbling in every area of our society.

  4. We will be wounded and struck to a point so as to make our mortality as a nation very clear.

  5. Our military will be humbled by direct defeat.

  6. We will be alone with no allies and no friends.

  7. America will be geographically split down the middle severed from north to south. It will be split right at its heart because of its true heart condition in our relationship with God.

Our nation will face complete collapse. Our nation will face complete takeover, hostile takeover. Enemies will surround our nation, with no friends or allies to help us.

We are headed into the darkest times in human history. He showed me these things in 2001 and 2002, but now He has released me to share it because your eyes are going to see it.

All the saints from our nation were called to assemble before the throne. I was standing in the back. I could see George Washington and others of our forefathers standing in the front part of the crowd. A sound wave proceeded from the throne and came across the crowd. They began to pray God’s original intention concerning our nation. The communication was in the sound wave. Then I watched as the sound wave came across our nation and intercessors, who appeared as small lights, began to cry out on earth as it was in heaven.

I had an encounter at the throne of God in 2002. I saw the founders of both nations standing before the throne crying out for God’s original intent to be fulfilled in both nations. I could see Abraham, Isaac, and other men and women of God who have come out of the nation of Israel. They were responding to a sound wave coming forth from the throne. In response to that sound wave they were crying out for these two nations. These are the only two covenant nations. That same sound wave hit me and I heard that cry.

The Lord caused me to ask a question. I asked, “What will it take?”

He said, “Severe chastisement will come upon them.”

He turned to me with eyes of fire and said, “Sound discipline has been decreed for your nation.”

Then he quoted Isaiah 60 where the glory of God arises in deep darkness.

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples. But the Lord will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you. (Isaiah 60:1-2)

He said to me, “It will be only in the darkest of darkness that your nation will turn back to me.”

With so many people receiving warnings of trouble coming in 2015, Terry pointed out that by no means is he saying all of these things will happen in 2015. He explained, “2015 is not the culmination of all of these events. It is only the beginning.”

The news is not all bad for America though. There is also reason for us to have hope for the future. See my other post, “The Sign of the Son of Man Will Appear Over America.”

I have been hearing that God will judge and punish America since 1975. Nothing has happen yet. So I am in a wait and see mode. If I was in power I would have punished America for her sins many many years ago. And when I say punish, I am not talking about a little slap on the hand crap like 9-11. It would be a real heavy duty ass kicking,,, Marine Corp style. His ways are not my ways. I don’t believe in tip toeing thru the tulips and pussy footing around. SO,,,I have a wait and see attitude,,,but I am not holding my breath.!

What do you think about Walid Shoebat’s idea in this video (at 19:49 minutes) that America will be the “strongest fortress” who will fight against the antichrist in the end?
